Might be, only 5-10 years from now.
Well, if someone bought at 0.0003 and sold at 0.0033. that's a 10-bagger. Some cannot resist the temptation and others are just in for a quick profit, no long-term strategy. Can't blame them, although, in a couple of months this should be much, much higher.
When they release the 2012 financials it would be a good time to update the status to "current". That should attract a lot more investors. I remember you pointing out that all they have to do is file a simple form.
I agree, they should concentrate on the local markets they already know. Just pointing out that even with a lot more Scandinavian business, they still won't be able to surpass the $100 million mark in revenue in the future. However, if they could land the global accounts of Scandinavian multinationals, then it would make a big difference.
They have to in order to become a major player. The population of Scandinavia as a whole is only about 30% of Germany's, so even if they get many of the big accounts in the Nordic countries it still can't compare with the budgets for the large markets in Europe, not to mention what it would be like if they would target the US market. Maybe in the not so distant future and then, those dreams that some of us have been having might become reality.
I think the $0.01 pps valuation target should be for the end of January and not the whole year. We know they had revenue in excess of $16 million for 2012 but for now, as you said, it flies under the radar and the volume is still low. With every PRed news and increase in business it should climb from there. How high for the year it's hard to say but, with more transparency and some hype (rightly deserved) it could and should go into multiple of sales.
Don't put any stock into what politician like Draghi are saying. They would say anything even if it's contradictory from one sentence to the next if it gets them reelected.
"Natural" is right, a stock like UCPA should do much better, but the perception of a pinkie coupled with the overall sentiment about Europe, lack of regular PRs from management and many other factors just keeps it floored. Heck, there are pinkies with no employees and no activity at all, that have valuations 10+ times higher than UCPA. Go figure! But I am optimistic that eventually, if they keep growing, paying off debt and become a regularly reporting company again, the market will take notice and reward everybody with a stake in it. Hopefully, it will start in 2013.
It's not what it used to be, their exports have diminished considerably because the other countries do not have money to buy anymore. But, we can still dream about that 10 cent pps.
Usually, when times are bad companies increase their marketing and advertising budgets so there is hope.
In this uncertain economy people loose patience and sell.
Europe is not doing well and neither are we. In normal times this company should be at 1 penny because that's how much it's worth right now. In a boom economy is should be at 10 cents or more but, we're not going to see that any time soon. As the matter of fact back in 2010 it had revenues of $15 million and at some point a market cap of $240 million. This year they might do more than $16 million and if the market cap would be the same, then the pps should be around 15 cents. Even as they are growing and improving their bottom line, overall pessimism in the markets will keep it stapled to the ground unless perception changes or they start signing multimillion dollar deals by the dozen.
You are right in all your observations. This stock is undervalued to say the least. Back in 2010, when the revenue for the whole of 2009 was around $4 mil it traded as high as 0.74 giving it a market cap of almost $240 mil (with average O/S around 320 million).
Now, when they reported $15 million in revenue for 2011, they trade at $0.0002 with a market cap of 300K. It's absolutely ridiculous and it all stems from the lack of communication from the management.
I mean, there are thousands of companies on the OTC that do absolutely nothing, zilch and have market caps 10 times, sometimes 100 times higher. I do not contest the fact that Niclas, Carl and the others are good at their trade but maybe they do not have what it takes to run a publicly traded company. Either that or they do not want to run a public company and are cooking something that will blow our socks off, which might not necessary be a good outcome for us. Granted, they're not a PR firm, but for a communication company they sure are silent. A thousand years ago the whole of Europe were shaking in their boots just hearing the vikings' name mentioned; I wonder if there's anything left of that spirit in these guys.
That was great! You should definitely e-mail Bianco and everybody on the BOD the link. However, I'm afraid the irony would be lost on them since they only care about fattening their wallets, with no regard for the average shareholder. Bunch of crooks!
You got that right!
And that's what they will remain, empty promises. This is a one man company and he cannot execute and make things happen; it takes a lot more than daydreaming and wishful thinking to succeed.
Totally agree, that's why I'm hoping that this open share structure is part of a more direct, result oriented, Scandinavian pragmatic,no BS way of doing business, as opposed to convoluted, tricky reporting and deceptive PRs that a lot of companies employ to hype their stock.
From our perspective (as minority shareholders)they should retire all of their stake to the treasury. What's to stop them from rewarding themselves later, once revenues pick up and pps rises. Then they can cash in, use it for new acquisition, whatever. I sure hope they know better than us and we'll be all doing well soon. I'd hate to think these gays are idiots or have other plans than to maximize value for all shareholders.
The SEC, per judge's order, should have cancelled all 800 million shares issued in fraud to UPDV and other cronies. This company should be independent, with only 89 million O/S. One can hope.
Whatever happened to the EU marketing authorization for Pixantrone that was supposed to go thru in April?
I think the better question would be, who is selling all those many millions of shares?
You're right "jrg", they have nothing good to report. Ironically, on November 27th, 2009, all us longs here were a lot richer in the value of MCLN stock than we will probably ever be; and we were supposed to get even richer with $0.14 predictions in the short-term and $0.40 in the long-term. After all, Laky was interviewed on December 1st,2009 and stated that the only problem they had was a bottleneck in production: "Our manufacturing and installation bandwidth is running at full capacity," says David Laky,President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, "but that's a nice problem to have and we're actively making changes to accommodate more orders."
Well, obviously those orders never materialized. Could they have? Maybe, in a parallel universe where we would all be millionaires by now. Now, if I remember correctly, somebody has stated on this board or another on this site, that they have seen "pennies" go from triple "0's" to $1 with over 2 billion of O/S. However, when asked specifically to identify that stock there was no response. So, we can all continue to daydream, as it was recently scientifically proven to increase intelligence. In our case though, regarding MCLN, I'm afraid it dumbed us down.
I think I'll print out that Garza report, file it and always keep it on my desk as a reminder that in "pennyland", when one sees a stock go up 80 fold in a couple of weeks on high volume, always, always sell and never, ever wait for it to go up 140 or 400 times.
Sometime in April.
Well, because as some here have already pointed out, the O/S will soon reach the limit, then a R/S will follow an subsequently more shares are going to be issued. Maybe people buying then will make money during a new hype but not the ones already invested in. Within the last 3 years none of the touted and over optimistically predicted milestones have been met; it's not even feasible with just a one-man show.
Yeah, it's all a mess. Most of us should have sold last year into the hype. Some here would have made hundreds of thousands of dollars, but we were all greedy idiots expecting to become millionaires by a one-man company with no actual operations. Boy, that 0.0285 sure looks good right now, and we're never going to see it again.
Would you mind giving us an example of a company that went from $0.0001 to $1 with over 2.5 billion shares of O/S?
This is what's supposed to be happening on the 9th:
"Cell TherapeuticsInc. (CTIC) recently announced that the resubmitted new drug application (“NDA”) for its lead pipeline candidate pixantrone will be reviewed by a panel of the US Food & Drug Administration (“FDA”) on February, 9, 2012".
The panel has to review the resubmitted application and make a recommendation for the April FDA meeting. If they make a positive one + the European approval + April final approval, I think my estimate of a pps close to $20 is not too far fetched. Then again, this might all be wishful thinking.
My two cents:recommendation for approval on Feb.9,$4-5; approval in Europe in mid Feb. $10; approval from the FDA in April $15, possibly over $20. That would give it a market cap of around $4billion; it's been there before just on hype, now they may actually have some concrete positive data. Otherwise, just like you said, bankruptcy!
Nah, I think they can keep the current name, cause they they surely cleaned us all out.
The only "gift" we're going to get from UCPA is the announcement that all 2 billion authorized shares are now outstanding. Since they need more to finance their "aggressive growth and acquisition plan" there's either an R/S coming or an increase in A/S;easy to do when you own 70% of a public company where the likes of us have no saying.
Happy Holidays to all!
The future will bring nothing good for us, current shareholders.
I do not think the sale was a dump, probably someone who read the latest filings and realized there is no hope. There are 1.5 billion shares issued and outstanding, albeit some restricted, but it does not make any difference. As per the filings, there is a new person, Maria Liem, to be named to the board. That means more shares issued and probably getting up to the 2 billion authorized. Then, if they want to maintain a least a semblance of going concern a R/S will follow. It might be 1:100 or even 1:1000. At that point, anybody who bought in the last 2 years and has not sold yet will be completely wiped out. Most likely Lars realized the ship was sinking and bailed out. We,the rats, will probably go down with it.
Right on, these people have a screwed up mentality, they probably think of themselves as God's gift to the business world. What's to prevent the board (i.e.them), from granting themselves shares once the company is doing well? The pps gets to a certain level you get this many millions of shares, it gets to another milestone you get many millions more and so on. Then the market would not even care about the dilution, but this a priori hoarding of shares sends a bad signal to prospective investors, IMO.
The quarter might be profitable, which I doubt, but I was talking about the size of the revenues: $840 in three months!!! A hot dog street vendor can do better in a week.
What's going on? Have you read the latest 10-Q? In nine months they had revenue of $1,242 out of which $840 in the last three months. With such stellar performance it won't be long until you see the pps at 0.003 and our investments down the drain.
Have any of you noticed the recent Form 4s? Between Froberg and Grandinson, they own more than 1 billion shares!!! That's major, major dilution! If this thing ever goes back to 1 cent it would be a miracle. Unless, of course, there is a R/S, which is probably to follow soon, with the value of our investment down the drain.
Well, the 10-Q was not as bad as we expected and you are right about the potential for 3rd quarter. However, the delay due to a subcontractor is unnerving. Right when it seems that demand might be picking up they are held back. I do not like to image a situation where they get several contracts in a row and are unable to deliver because they rely solely on subcontractors for their manufacturing and installations. That will be the end of our hopes of this company ever reaching a decent pps.
Yeah, you would think that since they have nothing to report anyways, they could at least file on time. Anyone in this company could copy and paste the last 10-Q and than make some minor change. Definitely don't need an accountant, there's nothing to account for. What a joke of a business.
So, without a firm resolution to this case, it's going to go nowhere but down, or sideways at best, for a very long time.
Too bad, the company had potential on all those leases, before Kamal gave away 800 million shares in his schemes. It's disconcerting to see that a judge cannot slam the crook for good and order the cancellation of all fraudulently issues shares.
I don't know if he has an agenda or not but, as a shareholder I can tell you that I'm not happy. When they filed the 8-K on December 29th 2010, after the R/S, the pps was around 30 cents and the O/S a little over 11 million. Now the pps is 10 times less and the O/S more than doubled to over 25 million. Furthermore, year-over-year for the first 6 months, they improved sales by a mind boggling 87K!!! Well, maybe Berge Abajian the CEO is pleased with the results, because he can issue himself as many shares as he wishes since he's also chairman of the BOD. Basically, this is a one-man operation that will continue to dilute and than R/S again and again.
It's funny how we all here continue to call "management" a few guys "working" from their living rooms, actually managing nothing.
Wrong! It's 0.0023 and going south!
It's good that most of the posters on this board are optimistic about the prospects of OTOW. I hope we will soon see financing come through and that we could do at least part of what POTG has done in only 5 short months(from 2 cents to $1.1o and still climbing, on average volume of almost 20 million with O/S over 600 million).
Wishful thinking?
Yeah, a R/S would be a failure, mostly to us, the small investors.
They could instead retire all the outstanding stock owned by insiders to the treasury, to be issued back when and if the company has good financials. This would give a good sign to the markets that the insiders are seriously involved and vested in the company but, I doubt it will happen. Getting rewarded only on good performance, what a strange concept, LOL.
