Gollum has spoken
You can take a man out of the OTC but you can't take the OTC out of the man. This crap PR is the last straw.
would be funny if the two of you got in a vicious loop trying to clear things up but due to delays in reading each others posts you never get on the same page.
that could be some sort of modern day abbott and costello bit.
was waiting for that reaction...
good thing you didnt read that during market hours
as if that post wasnt funny enough, having to look at JN's pic while reading it was too much
i dont mean to open a can of worms but i just google'd Changwan's name to try to find a picture and i came across this from 2012:
"Our next major step will be to produce a manufacturing prototype, which is required to undertake a pilot production run in early 2013. The pilot run will prove the 3D Solar Cell’s performance characteristics in a production environment and lead us to a manufacturing partner and entry into the marketplace by the end of 2013.”

USING Q3 DATA:
SOLAR3D -----------vs----------- VIVINT SOLAR
REVENUE:
$6,438MM..............vs...............$8,333MM
R&D SPEND:
$25,000......................vs...............$430,000
% OF SALES ON R&D:
0.4%......................vs................5.2%
BOOK VALUE:
-$10.7MM..............vs............+$261MM
MARKET CAP.:
$50 million................vs..............$1,281MM
How come you people never say mm's manipulate a stock higher.
Need to be a part of the market to track (ie join an index). Just being on Nasdaq itself doesn't change much.
Would be nice to get on the etf TAN but it tracks the MAC solar index which requires $150mm market cap AND at least $2mm average DAILY trading volume. We have a ways to go.
Nice find!
I see another Ray Oliver company Viggle will be there too. Has us listed as a media/communications company but hey at least we're doing something.
Marcum is a legit firm so I'll give a +1 to JN.
Again, nice find
Chiinkwia1!!!
not sure how long he's banned but i think he still reads this board, i'm sure he can give the presentation better than JN!
would be hilarious if ihubbers crashed the event, video taped it and then posted it on ihub. not that i'm giving any ideas, i'm just sayin...
if JN's mormon does he even drink? bring a kale smoothie.
please do some DD, just because a company has the word capital in it's name doesnt mean anything. bear creek capital is not a registered investment advisor. from the vague website it looks like a marketing firm of some sort.
Look at who this guy's worked with in the past:
Voyt International - current share price $0.0003
Viggle Inc - down 55% over the last 6 months
Axion International - OTC stock down 40% over the last 6 months
once a penny stock manager always a penny stock manager; glad to see that $12MM JN just raised is being put to good use, like a trip to Orlando!
Lol!!!!!
to follow up from earlier, other important questions:
1) do we still have negative equity?
2) what does statement of cash flows look like? If EBITDA is improving, are operating cash flows doing the same?
3) how much R&D did we spend for the year?
4) are they going to give us a taste of what MD Energy's books look like?
5) how many MWs did they book for the year?
6) for a 30% hit to the share price you raised $12MM, now what?
7) Bloomberg article last year said $100MM sales for 2015 is not out of the question, why are we reducing that goal by over half to $40-45MM?
8) market valuation for the cell is currently $0.00, what say you
institutional investment managers are required to report holdings at quarter end, so we'd only know if a big player bought SLTD if they still owned it on 3/31.
Market cares about:
1. The cell
2. Sales growth
3. Cash burn rate
Considering most solar companies don't make a profit yet, all that crap is irrelevant for a while.
It's something most penny stock speculators talk about but never actually see.
3 bagger = 300%
10 bagger = 1,000%
If been in this one off and on since $0.06 pre split, so if it hits ~$15.6 post split that would be a 10 bagger
That's the beauty of JN, keep it vague, yet give them hope
Can you please change topics. Oil is a finite resource and solar arguably is not.
Why not debate lease v purchase or just the valuations of VSLR against SLTD itself? Or is VSLR so hyped up because it has big name Private equity rather than bountiful capital llc backing it.
not sure what you're asking.
$100MM sales / 15MM o/s = $6.67MM sales per share. Multiply that by a price/sales multiple (lets say the industry average is 2x), and you're talking a share price of $13.33. Divide that by 26 and you're at a pre-split price of $0.51. About what I would have expected this to reach by year end 2015 if they do get $100MM in sales.
Not that I think there is a cell nor would it generate revenues in 2015, but that $100MM is not including any cell magic. If there is a cell then all bets are off.
Min to initially list is $4, but isn't the minimum to stay on only $1?
"Growth by acquisition" implies dilution. Remember they're keeping the a/s at a billion.
if i got a penny every time i read a similar post on this board...
Sales and revenue are the same thing to me. I'm just wondering why is he doing cartwheels over what should only be ~3% on the year's sales
1) I was hoping someone would like my terrible amps/watts pun
2) JN gave 2015 guidance of $100 million in sales, the meter's running
Why is JN so amped about ~1mw of new business? Do other "small cap" solar companies send out 3 pr's about the same sale?
Never fall in love with a stock.
ha, i did pick up on that.
to be far, JN did correctly call it growth by acquisition in that waste of a PR on 1/13.
best PR still goes to that year end memo when he called SLTD a small cap stock. change the stock price all you want, a $60 million market cap remains the same...
request: can you people please stop using "organic growth" when you mean to say growth by acquisition. they are two different things.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_growth
Considering minimum share price to list on Nasdaq is $4 I sure hope the price is not at $2 EOY 2015...
VSLR posted 8.3MM sales, that's a mere 25% QoQ growth. Not to mention they provided weak Q4 guidance hence the after hours sell off.
$10 millz+ and it's safe to get a map for dollar land. What a wild day!!!
Great minds think alike
Do I see a qui gon jinn pendant forming? If so, strong buy!!!
$$$SLTD$$$
The 10Q can come out at any moment. If numbers are huge it'll make any chart irrelevant. Best of luck getting those 22s just seems too risky to be out of this one if sales numbers are good.
Strong dollar is good because it translates into more euros. But if you're expecting a huge gain on this then even a big move in the euro's favor would have minimal impact. IMO of course
the bigger question should be what's the estimate on Q3 sales?
with Q2 at $7MM, are we under/over 7? that's the key here. All eyes on VSLR and their QoQ sales growth We should have comparable sales and growth rates to VSLR if JN is serious about making SLTD a contender. So again, if we get in the $10MM-$15MM sales range i'll take JN out for a nice seafood dinner.
no growth in sales, no growth in stock price. simple as that.
Ironic that you spelled buffoon wrong
Yesterday's volume was pretty light too. Confirms the big move will happen if sales growth continues its hyperbolic trend
I took it to mean MD is just assisting on the project, not the lead
I noticed that too, maybe they cracked open the champagne too early
I asked the same thing two hours ago, I also sent a note to JN I'll let you know if he responds
