Hey zab — if they created any powers not in the constitution, I am with you— impeach the bastards
And, of course if it created any new powers not contained in the constitution— that would be grounds for impeachment if significant— like killing or imprisiment of political opponents
Yes, of course, -- it stopped DOJ lawfare in it's tracks -- of course dems are advocating Biden to arrest and lock up repubs --- kill trump -- call off the 2024 election -- wow great powers newly conferred on the POTUSs -- but so sorry -- not true -- but a watershed opinion, nevertheless -- spelling out the powers of presidents under the constitution -- the third branch of our government
Knowing how you want the truth I am posting a link to previous matters of POTUS immunity -- god, don't hurt me
I trust you will never make that mistake here again

Presidential immunity in the United States

[excerpts]
Background
The Constitution of the United States grants legislative immunity to members of Congress through the Speech or Debate Clause, but has no explicit comparable grant for the president.[7] Early American politicians, including those at the Constitutional Convention, were divided as to whether such immunity should exist.[8] However, courts historically found that the president had absolute immunity from any personal damage liability for acts undertaken in the course of his duties.[9] The first suit brought directly against a president was Mississippi v. Johnson (1867), in which the Supreme Court of the United States ruled Andrew Johnson could not be sued as the actions in question were discretionary.[10] Spalding v. Vilas (1896) affirmed that federal cabinet officers had absolute immunity for actions "more or less" within the scope of his duties; Barr v. Matteo (1959) extended this to all federal executive officials.[11]
[all of it in link above]
Gosh zab -- hope you were awake last Thursday -- sad to see your guy struggle like that -- I am sure you can relate, knowing your own health issues --me being a marathon runner and 93, it's difficult to imagine
You are partly correct -- 59 americans will vote for biden -- It was lawfare by dems directed at trump that caused the supremes to spell out the immunity that all previous POTUSs have enjoyed -- no more bullshit on piss/sex, pornstars/election fraud, record arguments, rigged election investigations, telephone calls about $83k/mo to Hunter for what -- lawfare by the DOJ is dead
the 2020 election is truly a mountain --- POTUS ordering killings and mayhem with immunity is/are mtns made out of zip (molehills)
Keep making mtns out of molehills— sure fire way to disaster on 11/05
Might have a problem with the generals -- their oath on taking office

"I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God."

note the pledge to defend against "domestic" enemies of the constitution --
and then there is this
====
The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385, original at 20 Stat. 152) signed on June 18, 1878, by President Rutherford B. Hayes which limits the powers of the federal government in the use of federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States.
Good to know -- plus a major threat with Putin raising the nuke issue several times recently -- MAD put it on the back burner all through the cold war -- just do not see how that works with Putin observing Biden's status
Thank you for the nice words -- I wonder if others are imagining as I do -- what we would think if we saw another world leader -- say Putin or Xi etc. in an incoherent babble meltdown such as we watched last Thursday for 90 min. We would surely wonder how they could continue as a leader of their country.
She knows I love her and our story is wonderful for many to know -- In CA it matters not a whit who she votes for -- the dems run this state -- It is why newsom will never be POTUS -- wonderful for you and all of us
I imagine It would be creepy for you to be out alone with your hubby -- but for us, we celebrate in a restaurant and the waiter takes our picture - just two months to go for eight years 96 months -- LIG -- sorry you are having such a bad time
Notice, in all that fruit salad of words, they never mention where those extra 11 million votes for biden occurred -- if rigged they occurred in only a few precincts -- if fair and legal, they occurred over all precincts -- but they never say
Number 1 — it is not trump responsible for the security of DC — No2 Biden, for sure is POTUS for the next 6mos - you are dreaming of you think he is capable of dealing with Putin — we are in grave danger — 11/5 cannot get here soon enough
Just google "abortions in third trimester" -- big problem -- core of abortion debate -- Nancy responsible for DC security -- admitted as such -- Biden destroying USA -- so true -- 11/5 can't get here soon enough
Not so sure --
question is should he get immunity for obstructing law enforcement people from regaining the classified documents he stole. Surely the answer there is no. And in telling his VP to not recognize a fair and legal election result. Surely the answer has to be no.
Those questions are corrupted -- did not steal documents -- talking to his VP about anything is immune -- likely those charges will be dropped -- a dispute over document classification cannot happen because obviously such classification is part of his presidential duties
Do not know what happened -- I am sure Trump did not personally pack the documents -- shower better than the garage -- FBI planting "top secret" stuff -- do not know -- every recent ex-president has a library full of documents -- fortunately they were not a Trump -- lawfare at its finest -- 11/5 can't get here soon enough
Very few of the 69 cases were tried on their merits -- most were dismissed for lack of standing or other legal disqualifications -- Biden -- 81 million votes -- more than any other president ever -- Trump 67 million votes -- more than any other president ever -- wonder where those votes came from -- mail-in pallets w/o creases -- wonder how the PO delivered them -- be nice to know
And he got total immunity for official acts carried out in accordance with his duties under the constitution -- big cheer for our nation and the supremes -- the rest of it is guidance for the lower courts if the POTUS is accused of things like J6, record acquisition problems, telephone calls about election rigging -- hey maybe even ignoring the supremes on loan forgiveness -- ya think
One of the core duties of the POTUS is to see that the laws are properly enforced -- I believe there is a law stating when the election of presidents is to occur -- Biden would be impeached
so wonderful you are going in the constitution the ng to preach that nonsense up to 11/05 -- anybody can read what the supremes said -- if murder is in the constitution I am sure it says "do not do it" -- just a guess
Maybe we will get a real court case (FBI et al) to determine if it was wrong to believe the 2020 election was rigged -- or not
And of course he rapes babies
So killing your political opponent is part of the core duties of the POTUS required by our constitution— geez — who knew
Hey -- just a thought -- if, as you say, he can order seal team six to kill Biden, -- then he could order all dems to prison -- such foolishness -- keep it up -- wow -- official act under the constitution for sure
That is exactly the legal case to be decided -- an official act under the constitution (protests against the government are legal) or an unofficial act of authorizing an insurrection -- a nation of laws not men -- wonderful wonderful
As I posted -- keep posting such foolishness -- It will help the voters understand how the supremes have saved the country come Nov 5
And you think this is a bad thing
The courts have to decide what is and what isn't official on a case by case basis.
As AZ just said -- Biden ought to seize Trump's properties as a test of the immunity decision -- geez, what a quandary for the courts -- hey maybe you could see how such an act is now immune -- HUGE LOL
I doubt seizing property of your political oponent would pass muster as an official act -- so sorry you fail to recognize that the USA has been saved from such foolishness -- we shall see come Nov 5 if the voters understand their good fortune -- keep up the foolishness, every little bit helps
Cannot be happier —the suspremes have saved the country with its immunity decision— enjoy
And that had what relationship to the debate and biden’s obvious mental problems— just wondering
He said Biden policies are destroying the country— so true— he said I do not understand what he said — I do not believe he does either— so true
Anything else ? — Whiff Whiff and whiff
wow -- don't believe your lying eyes -- believe what I tell you
that'l work for sure -- HUGE LOL
One bad night for sure --

Washington DC’s most prominent newspaper related this example verbatim:
“‘[We’re] making sure that we’re able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I’ve been able to do with –’ Biden said, before trailing off and adding, ‘the covid – excuse me, with – dealing with everything we have to do with – look – if – we finally beat Medicare.’
“It’s at this point that the moderator said his time was up.”
And this was not Mr. Biden’s only verbal gaffe. “I’m going to continue to move until we get the total ban on the – the total initiative, relative to what we can do with more Border Patrol and more asylum officers,” he said, confusing both the audience and his opponent. Trump responded: “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
Come on zab -- surely you have a recipe for chicken salad -- go for it
did not intend to post to you -- meant to post to zab
