Pretty big volume in Pre market trading....$OPK
Similar in $VGR that hardly trade Pre market
I actually do not want him to buy more OPK :)
hoping he is in the 30 days period, prior to an announcement !!
I am holding this baby... since Prolor Biotech..added more since
Some & game,
The Dr is in town ( NYC) ringing closing bell on NYSE
for LTS 187 year anniversary on the exchange.
Monday they have the Pharma congress by Oppenheimer...
May be some news will be announced... or so we hope :)
I hear ya, and share the wishful thinking :)
Absolutely Max:)
Glad to share I m sitting heavy in 6 of his ventures,
Up on all & I m glad he is not investing in energy:)
Following the Doktah turned out a rewarding experience,
Posting names here is a No No as I was notified by $oldier.
Dr. Frost did not run out of cash:)
Not adding to his position is an indicator or just a bit unusual, , , IMHO
Good time to add below $8.50
$oldier, I hear ya.
Not a problem at all.
Thanks $oldier, I did some searching & according to "investipedia"
Micro cap = $50mil - $300mil
Less than $50 mil is Nano cap, over $300 mil is small cap >> which is our next destination:)
Z you were correct!
I also need/want clarification bout being official sponsor of Boston Red sox???
What does it really mean?
Besides some free drinks to fans:)
ROX is no long a Micro cap see last Q ER :)
Hope you don't mind my correction in here.
We are Small cap :)
Since we are in Happy Hour Mode:
I wish my Mom was still around would have been 85 now, she loved the Market n loved a good drink too we made lots of $$$ in the market, she would have loaded her portfolio with ROX I m sure:)
Great find Max - thanks
I just want to add that
Mark E Brooks is the chairman, that did not do that well until Frost, Lampen, Lorber took over and steered Castle Brands in a whole new direction applying their financial / Marketing /strategy know how...
OH, I love the direction we headed... let the train thru... cheeew cheew:)
Good Seeking Alpha analysis :) Dec - 8 - 14
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2738125-castle-brands-grab-a-whiskey-and-read-why-its-about-to-turn-profitable
I support your theory as well,
Look like ~$1.50 is a point of reversal.
The freight train full of ROX opportunities is getting thru,,, cheeew cheeew
Ginger Beer - was noticed by me at "Fairway" ( major supermarket in NYC area with few stores in NJ & LI) to my surprise I noticed diet version as well to the Sugar conscious crowd :) that's a great traffic market for those not familiar with "Fairway" - Go $ROX GO!!!
*reading your postings prophets and few DDresearchers in the past 24 hrs
I'd like to say to all the "wanna be traders/bottom fishermen" those 3 words are going to be in your posts often in the coming months
*Coulddah*Shoulddah*Woulddah*
Right? Dr. Frost
BTW Docta did you sell one share yet? Your average is 25-30 cents?
$oldier & All of you are very welcome!
Only by educating ourselves we acquire the tools to form a better evaluation about the "gem" (borrowed from you) we all own since it was double digits..
Regardless to get such coverage in Barron's is A+ in more ways than meets the eye :)
Thank you Someconcerns.
For taking the time and effort to post it.
I also hope that $oldier, once done reading ;) will not remove it, after all Frost owns roughly 52 mil shares of ROX and we don't want to bet against him and at the same time learn how he operates and create value to those that follow him,
My very best to all ROXers
Barron's - Dec 1, 2014 issue
An interesting article - suggested reading!
Concluding with "You don't bet against Dr. Phil Frost"
Titled: Stock pickers blues. By Bill Alpert
If someone can post the link in here, it would shed some light on how genius and methodical his operation & investment are,
Thanks to whomever is able to post it - a valuable info/lesson to the Bulls & Bears in here:) - thanks
sure do Max, I do think that way
Came home from holiday feast to find 2 of my neighbor buddies waiting to give me a gift, no less.
A "Very Old - very small batch" yep you guessed, Jeff's reserve...
So we opened one n it taste good cause with every sip you realize that it does have an impact on EPS , ,
besides the joy of the drink itself....
Cheers all & Happy Holidays
Not necessary pal..
Look at Amazon a behemoth of comp w/o profits yet!!!
The vision shared by the Dr. Frost clan is usually long term Brand oriented and $$ producer to all involved.
G/L to you regardless.
Not sure you did your homework here Okaly!
pasted here your quote from your reply to Howard74
Given the events of the last week, I'm not so sure ROX is as much a "sure thing" as people made it out to be. If they don't get bought out, I can't see them surviving on their own for more than a few more years. LMAO
To enlighten you and the readers in here
Dr.Phil Frost does not invest in any venture unless he has control
when we say control we mean nobody can buy any of his ventures... unless their offer is sweet to extremely sweet. As we all know every body has a price :)between himself and his boards they always have very close to 50% of the shares.
OPK - 162 mil out of 432 mil outstanding (Dr.Jane Hsiao owns 43mil add'l w/o mentioning other board members)
ROX - 52 mil out of 155 mil outstanding + Vector group owns13 mil and Dr Frost owns over 10% of Vector
VGR - 16 mil out of 109 mil outstanding + Lebow, Lorber & such they control board and outstanding shares.
NIMU, LTS,COCP & more same formula.
Now: none of his companies was bought.... he sold few (there is a difference)and was heftily rewarded. so in conclusion your statement does not hold water nor academic financial or factual support! Besides they have Huge large pockets & Banks, Duh
Do you know that Dr frost is a partner in Coconut Grove bank? and he need not report it as it's a private comp !
My only advise to you "Stick with him , You ll do better than betting against him
Howard74 - traded like a MAN an investor that got in @ $0.30 average made roughly 600% and decided its enough for him and sold. Great + good luck in your future investments.
ROX displaying strong momentum.
Not a problem JNUBZ
You acted smart yesterday:)
Good move JNUBZ & best of luck
let it rest and watch how it grows,
I assume you lowered your average...
Ditto $oldier
Those that snuck in @ $1.55 - $1.60 should consider themselves fortunate :)
I was contemplating add-on myself.
But stuck to the discipline that one must endure on the (ROX)Roller Coaster.
I m all in never sold a unit yet. Up roughly a $1 on each of my thousands of shares.
Will not sell before $3.00
How do you like my confidence?
Fundamentally numbers don't lie, keeping that in mind you got the formula for success.
Plus minus 10-15 cents are small change compare to where they come from n where they going!
You got MBA like myself,,, think big! You'll make big$$
Good luck pal..jump in and you don't have to thank me.
Laugh he who laughs last
One wonders how you make $$ by being on the sidelines?
Or you are happy to see how others exercise their intestinal fortitude that will prove them right!!
Funman - Thank you,
I read it in Q transcript, good encouraging news:)
Funman, thanks for sharing your own personal ROX success! I loved it.
To me management is the key and we got the "dream team"
We also have world known brands some go back over 200 years(Gosling 1806) etc, basically a win win scenario.
Although ROX is still on a Roller Coaster the faith n capital by insiders keeps reminding me that these men put their money for one reason only - there is more money to be made!
I follow them n search daily for any little news I can lay my hand/ eye on.
I'm also invested in all of their ventures :)
Just got November issue of Resident where Howard Lorber is on the cover.
Lorber is chairman of VGR - Vector Group that owns 10%+ of ROX, will read it once done writing this.
Please Note: H.Lorber took over the old "western union" and turn Single $1 stock n turn it to $240.00 in two years. He is OK+ in my book:)
So $2.00 neighborhood for ROX is just a beginning..
G/L 2 U all
Thanks, Max
I ll drink for all of you new found friends.
JNUBZ - I ll be honest with you, I m a "Vodka" guy (Grey Goose, Stoli,Absolute) but 2 weeks ago I bumped into a friend at the liquor store,,,yada yada yada make long story short,, I told him about ROX n he said " you never tasted their Bourbon? "NO" I replied,
He said - you want me to put thousands of $$$$ into a stock you never tasted?
Soo I paid $90 + tax and I developed a taste from the first sip... the bottle is almost history.... I also like the design of bottle almost like a fancy perfume...
Long story short other members here are probably way better than me to answer bourbon questions:)
It taste better when stock goes up :)
Glad to see you again gocubs
Closed $1.78 today 11/18
Closed $1.98 Friday. Difference of -20 cents roughly -10%...
Not enough to jump from my 4th floor window... too cold to go to roof of bldg (22 floors) :) life in the Big Apple.
I guess I ll stay long...
Besides few sips from Ocean aged Jefferson soooooo smooth n warm:) try it, you might like it
PS, no prerequisite to own ROX to enjoy it... ( checked the label:)
Best 2 U pal
Seeking Alpha just posted:
Positive analysis, at 3:32pm
I m away from my desktop..
Perhaps someone can paste article or link in here.
Go $ROX $2.25
Max, Soldier & ROX-ers:)
I truly believe that volume we see today is not dumpers only. It's (smart) investors on the sidelines that waited for minor correction to join the ROX family and long time investors that wanted to add to their position
The proof is in the (castle) pudding

Must confess
We are not amongst them :)
Here in NYC it's $1.88 on high noon
Regardless of minor market correction due to ER (-7%) roughly.
Volume is a good indicator of how ROX is becoming a household brand.
Almost 1 Million trade (900k to be correct) before noon!! Way over daily average.
Go $ ROX
Nobody make assumptions about you.
You simply post your pearls of wisdom here:)
Good luck 2 u anyway,
Not really!
I make mistakes, I have faults. I m far from perfect!
I m aware of it :) also 165% up on ROX looking to see a substantial percentage increase.
"Right Winger" are you serious??
You did not learn much in your MBA program!! Sorry to say.
Traders who live in their dreams hoping to sell at peak n buy the following day at bottom do not last!!!
Don't get wrong you are entitle to be Bearish on ROX...personally, not adviseable. unless Fear of success is in you.
Best of luck to all
Investor stays for the ride
I agree with Max, the ER is not exactly up with my expectations, However a rise in revenues despite decline in # of cases sold almost across the board with the exception of the Non-Alc Ginger Beer that establish itself nicely (cases sold speak volume) although a small ticket item compared to the Brands sold by "ROX a nice contributor to the bottom line.
ROX - No long a small reporting Company, Huge step forward.
One ER should not change long position holders a bit, actually it may be an opportunity to add some more at about 15%-20% discount to the nearly $2 range we had prior to ER.
Basing your investment strategy and Investors Hub comments on few shares dumped in panic in After Hours trading is not an investors approach.
Last - the team of Dr. Frost, R. Lampen, H.Lorber, Vector Group & more are one terrific n successful bunch,
I would not bet against them! Their record is public,VGR OPK LTS COCP ROX enjoys same brain power.
Stay for the ride investors!!!

Gosling Beer does a Bang up job !!
And so does Jefferson's, A 4 can beer case cost ~$4 (small potato) compare to Gosling rum ~ $25-$28 which is a bit of a hard sell, despite increase in Rum consumption in USA.
Thought I will enlighten you as you guys are here forecasting predicting guessing encouraging each other etc.
mostly sharing your dreams of a future windfall.
Acting as Board members wanna-be with some good insights
Most of the times,
To me "ROX" is a long term great potential investment.
I m here since $0.51 with $0.67 average, never placed a stop loss or sell, although by now I should take some chips off the table(as my guru Cramer suggests)and play with house $$$ (he is right whether you like him or not!)
Obviously I am trying to outfox him :) time will tell.
ROX is a slow pace steady growing venture...be patient friends
