I really don't know who the fools are that even remotely thought they'd see anything from this venture last year or this year.

I'm one of those fools. :(

But, in a way it's like paying for education. And, I hope the lesson will stick with me better since I lost real money. Finally, I can say I gave some money to people who are trying to do something good with new technology. I have never said BEHL was a scam and still think they are well intentioned and serious about making this work. Unfortunately, I am also quite certain that the funds of many common shareholders will be sacrificed to get there. If BEHL gets it's legs under it and starts selling PBRs I might get back in - hard to say, it's still a bitter pill right now.

Sorry, but that misses holycroc's comments totally. If investing in BEHL was a mistake, it was one on the part of the investor--unless someone held a gun to the investor's head and said "buy BEHL or I'll shoot!"

I very much disagree. Myself and many many others bought into the hype over a year ago. If BEHL had delivered on the many promises it made and had actual revenue back when it first said it would then we would not have the floating share count as high as it is and we would be making money on our investment instead of losing it. Over the last year, BEHL has let us all down plain and simple. I think the real lesson here is that momentum plays and trading is the way to play any stock listed on the pink sheets. That's what I will do from now on. Holding for the long term and hoping for great things just has the odds stacked too high against you with these small start ups.

Why are the provisional patents listed valued at over $2 million and who makes that determination?

A two part question, I'll answer the second part first.

Dennis Fisher and his BOD get to decide what the intellectual property they have created is worth. And, since the financial statements are not audited, you are going to have to take their word for it.

Now the first part - they sold some stock to behlievers, they used the money for research and development, they decided the IP they created was worth that. They could have called it something else to make the balance sheet work. Usually it's something more vague like - Stockholder Equity. If there are any Accountants in the house jump in here and correct me if necessary. I play accountant at work (but that is not what I was trained to do).

GO BEHL!!!! all in due time my friends. someday this will pop and I will still own my shares. could be a week could be a year could be 5 years but I will be here as Im a long :)

I'm pretty stubborn - I held a stock ( INNI ) for 7 years. The result - Dollars in = $7,972, Dollars out (after 7 years) = $25

Moral: There is no shame in admitting that you made a mistake and preserving some of your capital for other opportunities.

Between INNI and BEHL, I've paid about $30K for this lesson. Benefit from my experience. The warning signs are very clear for all to see with respect to the future of this stock.

Step to the other side of your line for 1 post. If you are normally negative about BEHL lets hear a piece of DD that is positive from you.

Yeah, so it's been quite a long time since I have said anything positive about BEHL. I took my loss but find it hard to move on. I like the idea that this technology might work. Part of the original motivation for me was to risk some dollars on something that might really help the environment and humanity in general.

I think Dennis got into this with noble ideals and I think he is sincerely trying to make it work. I want him succeed, I really do. But, I think he is also stuck in a very difficult position now (probably not of his own choosing). The R&D is expensive (probably more expensive than they thought it would be) and it seems the only way to keep it going is to sell stock.

I'll admit up front that I will be jealous of all the profits the longs will make if this works out. But, man it looks really dicey right now. I am looking forward to the discussion post open house.

on your investment here but it was your choice.

Yes, an expensive lesson. Others should learn from my experience here.

I changed my mind about BEHL after looking at the evidence and DD.

It's like arguing about religion or politics. People take a side and then refuse to change their mind regardless of the evidence presented that they should. Why do people want to read message boards if all they care about is validating what they already believe?

Anyway, I don't wish financial harm to anyone here but I feel strongly it is coming to many here.

I'm going to shuffle off to the sideline and see how this plays out. Time will tell who is right. If you get the big payday the congrats - you bought the winning ticket.

I will rather give the benefit of a doubt to a company that puts out a PR of a contract, than a person who writes on a blog. What I am saying is...I don't trust anything that is coming from you. I have yet to see you post anything positive about BEHL...Remember you have to be objective for anyone to give you any credibility. As it stands right now, you only see things from a negative perspective. I do not need your point of view, it means nothing to me and how I invest MY money. I do not need a 'Lifeguard', I am not at the beach.

About a year ago, I was telling G Malone pretty much the same thing. But, at some point you have to admit you are wrong when reality hits you in the head. Look at his post history and show where he has been wrong about BEHL. You would rather believe BEHL with its long list of broken promises because you have bought hope.

I fell in love with the BEHL story too and bought hope. The danger here is that emotional attachment to the potential big payoff overrides all critical thinking. BEHL longs have a signed contract with a tiny company with no financial transparency. BEHL longs are hoping this leads to a big payday. You are not making decisions with facts you are making decisions with hope. I got burned (and learned from it) and I'm betting many others here will too.

A tip of the hat to all the longs that held fast despite all the negative stuff. I'm still bitter over my loss and still think BEHL is a poor and risky company to invest in but it warms my heart to see the dreamers that hang on against the odds.

As I have said before, I do hope algae technology works out and makes the planet a better a place. I'm skeptical that BEHL will pull it off. But, that is why I'm out and you longs are in. We all pays our money and takes our chances. Enjoy the day!

As you look at that side of the coin and see what might be obvious to you without the benifit of proof to back up that statement

The "proof" is just logical reasoning.

A. People don't work for free.

B. If BEHL had some money flowing in from something other than the sale of stock they would tell us.

C. Therefore, since they have not told us there is some other source from which they can make payroll, I conclude they are selling stock to fund current on-going R&D.

Sure we werenot happy with the additional 500 mil shares added to auth float. But this happens in start ups and Pink Sheets. Just wait until 2011 when we get up listed.

Come now and use some logic and critical thinking. If the PBR really produced great results it would not be hard to persuade a rich person to pony up some venture capital or some other exclusive financing arrangement. Instead, they sell hope to the hopeful in the form of new shares. It is just amazing to me to see the support for this company has after all the promises it has broken. Sadly, PT Barnum was correct.

Borrowing upon borrowing and deposits that are refundable, make this, definitely, a long shot here.

There is nothing wrong with BEHL doing this, but in lieu of their explanation of their financing, anything is possible.

Right. I think that what a lot of behlievers are failing to appreciate here is that it is entirely possible for BEHL to succeed and have management and employees come out ok while at the same time giving the shaft to the holders of the common stock shares. I've been doing this for 20 plus years and I have seen this happen.

BEHL may have huge upside potential but from the current vantage point I'm looking at it from it is far from certain that the holders of the common stock will also benefit. This is the main reason I decided to sell my shares. As more dilution occurs it will get more and more difficult for the common shareholder to prosper even after the company itself starts doing well.

So when does BEHL get to a price where you say its time to buy. There is no way a stock can only go down. There is a bottom.

I'm betting you are going to find out otherwise (well... after the reverse split which they will have to do at some point to rationalize the share structure you will find yourself even further from the bottem).

I am wondering if this stock went to .0001 would we still have you here claiming that this has nowhere to go but down?

There is no good entry point when there are no revenues and stock is constantly being sold to fund current research and operational costs. If they make the thing work and manage to sell it to someone then a good entry point *might* be after the sell-off from the future reverse split.

or cheats, they just fail for a variety of reasons.

No, I do not think they are a scam. I think DF and his team are working hard to make the PBR into a viable product.

What I think is dishonest here is that BEHL is in the R&D stage as a public company and selling more and more stock to fund the R&D. They are not being upfront about this. They release PR's as if they have a product that is ready to sell while they are trying to find out if the thing will work or not.

I think it is wrong to sell stock to fund R&D when you absolutely have no other source of revenue. And, it makes me very concerned that it seems they are not able to attract any other kind of investment capital for this "breakthrough technology".

At least with a real pump and dump company, it's rinse, wash, repeat... you can get your money back if you wait six months.. but with the fantastic four floating around iHub, this sucker could well be worth 98% less in six months just because BEHL is slow to make a profit.

I had that exact same thought. Maybe just maybe another pump will come around and I can get closer to whole. But, for that to work you need the float to be relatively tight. So many new shares have been authorized and put into the float that now it's extremely difficult for even a really good pump to work. That is what pushed me over the edge to finally take my loss and bail.

If you are going to ride it out, verified revenues and fully disclosed (and audited) financial reports are going to be what it takes to significantly move the share price up.

Last year, I thought I was Warren Buffet, Jr. I paid more taxes due to capital gains than anyone else I knew (or at least was willing to talk about it). This year, I have learned that I might not be as good as I previously thought (and, I've been doing this for 20 years, this = trying to pick individual stocks that make money).

i think you were impatient, but thats imo...

It's possible. But, I started to lose money on BEHL very soon after first buying it (400K shares at .05 in late Sept of 09). Thus began the journey down the hill (check the graph from then till now). I would average down based on the flow of the news until my average share price was a bit over 2 pennies. I fell in love with the promise of this technology and held on longer than I should have (I'm still pretty stubborn when it comes to my stock picks as I will explain).

It used to be the case that my investing philosophy went as follows:

There are only 3 outcomes:

1. I will buy a stock a certain price and sell it later for a profit.

2. I will buy a stock at a certain price and hold it until it is worth nothing.

3. I die.

Two years ago, I decided that was not rational. At some point one has to swallow one's pride and admit the mistake. I have now done that with BEHL. I saved 5K out of 27K for some other purpose (which may be just as foolhardy).

It's natural for newcomers and those who are in at a half penny or less to be quite optimistic. I was that way for quite some time. But, I've changed my mind. There are those who have stuck it out longer than I did and some even that may have a larger average share price than 2 pennies. We all have to decide to hold or sell at some point (or, ride it all the way to nothing).

There was/is a clever poster that says, "It may be that the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning to others". That could be the case here. We will see.

Look back a year ago now and look at how much has been accomplished. Time is all it takes. If you are still holding, you may want to continue to hold as I am. I was here over a year ago too, still in because I see so much potential and things are actually coming together much better now. If you look at the PBR, we seem to finally have a producer that will run contiunously and produce.

Go search for BEHL videos on youtube and watch them. It looks to me like BEHL has gone backward since then. Back then, they had a larger system that was producing algae. I have not seen anything since then that shows something better. I've read PR's that claim improvements but the videos from over a year ago show more of a working PBR than anything since that time.

What killed this Stock PPS? I traded this a little last summer/fall but haven't followed it since, was thinking of getting back in at these prices, or do people think it will go lower?

Since BEHL has not managed to actually sell a working PBR to anyone yet and since it appears they can not attract venture capital, grants or some other form of private financing, they are selling new stock to fund on-going operations. There are a lot more shares available since you traded it last year. In fact, they seem to be better at selling stock than anything else.

I kept averaging down for about 1 year. When it was discovered (no PR for this news) that the authorized share count had been raised from 1 billion to 1.5 billion, that was the last straw for me. I bailed at .004. Time will tell if that was the right thing to do (I suspect you can infer my opinion on that).

Except for the few here who bring true DD backed by verifiable cites, this forum is for entertainment only and chock full of dramma qweens.
Tip: When you feel yourself getting emotional on this board...turn it off. Investing should never be based on emotions.

That is quite true. I think what I have learned is that it is almost impossible to trust any of the information that comes out of companies that are listed in pennyland. I think most people investing in pennyland are destined to lose their money. I've lost mine and it was a more expensive lesson than I wanted it to be. Hopefully, I've learned something useful from my short experience with penny stocks (have played them for a little over 1 year and on net have lost).

Based on my experience, I think more people are going to lose money with this stock. Obviously, that is just my opinion and time will tell. I'll try to keep the frequency on my pessimistic view postings low and throw in some entertainment (disclaimer - I may only be entertaining myself).

7 more months and Nancy Fisher's 2,000,000 shares may convert to...... 2 bill!!! At least the Fishers will have millions of dollars. A lot of people will finance their wonderful retirement.

I doubt that very much.

1) I predict the share price will be significantly lower in 7 months than it is today and 2) They would have to sell those shares to someone else to have the money. At current trading rates, it would take years to sell that many shares. 3) I don't know when, but I also predict a large reverse split in BEHL's future.

I have been here long enough to state that there are too many cassandras here. Non believers should step aside and walk away.

You can forget that pipe dream. I paid my dues to be here and it's therapeutic to foist my opinion on this board.

I don't think BEHL is a scam but they have made too many promises that have not been kept. In the last year, the stock reached a high (somewhere around .012) right after the good doctor joined the team. All of us who where shareholders at the time where a lot more optimistic since a man with his credentials brought validation to what BEHL is trying to accomplish. That hope is gone now.

I bought the majority of my BEHL shares at 0.06 and rode them all the way down to these levels before I finally caved in and sold (over $5K loss).

Yes, me too. I'm Irish and very stubborn and *hate* to admit that I've made a mistake. I also fell in love with this stock and the dream that they were in the right place at the right time (and hey, I was going to be an algae farmer!). It might still happen but the odds have gotten worse. I did manage to save 5K out of 27K. So, I think my instinct is still working - just wish I could move off losses faster and let it go.

Falling in love with a stock has always been a mistake for me.

Well I did post a hard fact - millions of more shares are in the float now than were in the float when it ran to 15 cents. It is true that the rest was my opinion.

Here is another fact - To date, BEHL has been better at selling stock than anything else.
