yeah, interesting battle to watch on L2 board, though.
That guy usually draws the card you need b/c he's hitting when he shouldn't. Blackjack's a bad analogy, but I get what you're saying.
Sweet! My way has the benefit of rational thought and logic. It's much better than the other way where we just say whatever pops in our head to try to drive down the stock price even though what we say is completely implausible.
Don't do that. If you know something, say so, but don't just post crap like that without any explanation.
It's juvenile and makes everyone think you're a chode.
Apparently, my previous reply was deleted, but you guys are still kidding yourselves if you think this will go back up without production numbers.
It's not really a game. That's the thing.
But in this and in every other aspect of life, you are always free to ignore logic and likely wisdom and do something stupid any time you get the itch to do so.
We've discussed this midnite. Your prediction make no sense. Magellen will have to know before then because they have to bill customers.
Respectfully, you guys are kidding yourselves.
and it was a nice gesture. It's just one that we should've gotten two weeks ago. This week's PR should've been a follow up to that, detailing how they're rebuilding the old wells and then giving a time frame when they'll be up and running.
Looks like it's going to be a nerve-racking day.
Good luck to all. Hope you get filled and find a way to make some money today.
I really believe that they don't know when they're going to get numbers. It could be the end of the month, it could be tomorrow. I look at yesterday as an effort to throw us a bone.
Lot of board shifting going on.
B/A is now at .0009/.001
WOW.
Anybody see that massive board shift on the bid side. In all seriousness, don't buy at .0011 if you're considering. It's headed down. 5 sells to 1 buy.
If you don't believe me look at the L2.
I don't know what to think about the timing now. On one hand the dramatic change in attitude would suggest that they have more and better information about the date, and if they're upbeat it's reasonable to assume we're close.
On the otherhand, as you say, this PR could simply be a bandaid.
Well, aside from this occasion I've been right, but go ahead and discount all that because I'm trying to profit as the stock declines and am explaining to you why I believed the stock would do exactly what it has done.
Apparently, we're going to gap up this morning. If it holds, good, but it would make more sense given the recession we saw yesterday if this was just a quick attempt at profittaking before letting the ball drop.
In the last month I've been accused of being a pumper, a dumper, an idiot, and all the while many of the more intelligent posters on this board have agreed with the majority of what I've had to say.
I disagree. I think it's going back down without more news. The "news" we got yesterday wasn't substantial. It was little more than a further illustration of the potential of Magellen's latest acquisition. That potential was already baked into the stock price.
I don't know if it's going to last until tomorrow. We're either at the top or near the top of it now. Too much resistance for this to be merely a rest stop.
Actually, at this point... buyer beware. There are a ton of sells going on at .0009.
There's a big clue about what's going to happen between now and the end of the day.
Yeah, they're about to fall.
There's no real bankable data in that PR, so I have no idea what they're going to do. They could get it to .001 and drop it like it's hot back down to 7. It just depends on what they think is going to be more profitable.
Meanwhile, I'm just going to enjoy the ride.
I could be wrong, but I don't think this will carry over. If we don't get the production numbers tomorrow, it'll drop most of these gains.
I find it profitable. We're about to get a nice little mini-run on this. Won't last, but it could give us a nice opportunity to recoup some losses.
Funny, you have no problem trying to speak for every other supposed group of investors. Why be tactful in this case?
Yeah, mine is stuck as well. Don't feel bad, there aren't a lot of 5s being filled at the moment.
Wow, you just convinced me never to buy that software.
Sheesh. What's the point?
Yes, and instead I'll listen to a semi-anonymous Internet poster with no real ties to the company and whom presents no logical basis for his grandiose predictions.
Sounds like I'm finally making some smart decisions.
Well... crap.
That makes no sense whatsoever. The company would have to have numbers to know what to bill well before that point.
Congrats.
Mine wouldn't go through either. Did you put in an end of day order or what?
Right as always, Sherlock.
Wow, just decided to suck it up and change my buy order to .0006 to make sure it got filled before the end of the day, and it went through immediately.
I still picked up shares on the flip from 7, just not as much.
nice, but that sounds like learning, so I'm agin' it.
Down to one, here we go.
6s are thinning.
Yes, but what you also need to know is that those "5000"s could be any number and are usually in the millions if not tens of millions.
Plus, they adjust orders as they see opportunities to make money, so every order isn't set in stone.
I agree that it's undervalued. That's why I'm trying to pick up extra shares by any means available. The problem is that the MMs are screwing with me. I've gotten two partials in the last twenty minutes on my sell for 20,000 and 30,000 each. The order is for 1 M.
Both, actually. I'm getting no attention, whatsoever.
Uptick, when the ask sellers at the current price get filled, the spread will go to the next lowest seller, which causes the ask to go up, and typically drags the bid with it, but not always.
Downtick comes when the people lined up at the current bid price all get filled, then the next highest person gets served.
Just look at how they're listed vertically in each column and you'll see.
