And one of the amazing things that they can present is that this should be a reality within the year ...
Whether that scenario comes to pass has much to do with where algae biomass fuels are headed. Steve Mayfield, a Scripps Research Institute expert in algae genetics has predicted that algae-based fuels would be available in the next decade at the bargain price of $2 a gallon. A lot of technological and logistical problems must be worked out before his forecast becomes a reality, but such talk certainly signals the enormous enthusiasm in some quarters for the exciting potential of what is essentially pond scum
Can we get a screen shot of the L2?
TIA
"The 2009 Algae Biomass Summit gets underway in San Diego today, offering the latest sign of the algae biofuels sector that has bloomed in San Diego in recent years. Cleantech San Diego president Lisa Bicker told reporters at a pre-summit news conference last night that more than 625 cleantech companies are now based in the region—including 30 local biomass energy and biofuel companies that the non-profit industry group lists on its website database. As biomasses go, that’s enough to make an impression on the more than 700 investors, entrepreneurs and other interested parties who are expected to attend the three-day conference, which is devoted to the science and economic potential of the nascent algae industry."

Looks like we really will be getting a lot of exposure and new investors from this conference.
Do we have any shareholders actually attending the conference? I thought I remembered someone a little while back who said they were thinking about going but can't remember who it was.
It would be huge if BEHL could announce a confirmed partnership with SGT for their lipid triger today and show it off at the conference.
If that is the truth then I do apologize and welcome you. It just seems as though there are a lot of so called concerned posters that have been showing up here with an alias that was just created who are supposed experts in what they are talking about. Maybe I have just spent too much time reading this board lately and everything is starting to look like conspirited bashing to me.
BTW I am still long in this stock with everyone of my orgonal shares plus a few extras.
Don't see any reason the company would want BEHL shares to be lower prior to the merger as they are not buying the shares. We get to keep our BEHL shares which will be a shell and then we will be given shares in the new company more importantly.
Lucky us ;). I think it just means good things are on their way with the increased concern (bashing) on the board.
Any thought that our new attention by these posters may have any connection to being posted on that mad money fund website? I saw a post on another board that a stock they covered a few weeks back went from .05 to .50+. Think they are just trying to keep that from happening here or maybe trying to get cheap shares before that does happen?
Well sounds like things sure could get interesting over there and hopefully here as well with the relation. I have seen all too well what PSC pumping can do to a stock over on the sister board and hope this one can do better.
Was the sky rocketing in share price cause primarily by that site covering it or were there other major factors that sent it shooting up?
Just wish it was lifter4life back in here giving us PPS and news pridictions again as everything he claimed came true. Who know's though, I hope he is right. Guess we shall see soon ...
Any update on that potential news?
I wouldn't think so as they are already on the Pinks and moving into the BEHL shell wouldn't really bennefit them. They already have a good investor base their and would imagine that they will just change their ticker and stay where they. Who know thought, maybe there would be a reason that I cannot see for them to do so.
I knew Dennis had something in mind for the BEHL shell that would be created. This is huge news for all of us and really is a 'bonus' as Dennis stated in the Merger PR.
Was there any hints given as to who the company moving into the shell might be? Possibly SGT looking to go public???
We shall see tomorrow. I'm not sure I would trust PSC as a great source though since they claimed that there would be this 'earth shattering' news. I think everyone can agree that we did not see this although it is still good news for us longs.
Maybe just a precursor for the big PR???
SGT discovers green algae ‘lipid trigger’
From: Biomass Magazine September 2009
By Lisa Gibson
http://www.biomassmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=2943&q=sgt
California-based Sustainable Green Technologies has found the elusive “lipid trigger” allowing for increased production of green algae oil for biodiesel production, according to the company.
The secret ingredient is the waste stream from the company’s patented biohydrogen-producing bioreactor. SGT’s scientists were looking for ways to use the waste stream when they discovered it sparked algae growth and increased lipid production and storage when combined with green algae in a bioreactor, according to the company. An increase in lipid production means an increase in the amount of oil extracted from the algae.
Usually, algae store excess solar energy in the form of starch and in smaller amounts as lipid droplets. This breakthrough allows the plants to “flip a switch” and turn on massive production and storage of oils instead of starch, creating “obese algae,” according to SGT.
The start-up company produces biohydrogen for energy using waste products like glycerol from biodiesel production, sugars from sugarcane and sugar beets, office paper once it is turned to glucose by enzymes, and brewery wastes, among others. The waste stream from that process now will be used to increase algae oil production for the company’s biodiesel plant, whose waste stream will go right back into the biohydrogen bioreactor, according to the company. “It closed the loop for us,” said Jim Siegrist, vice president of marketing and sales for SGT.
The biodiesel plant does not run on algae oil yet, but the company is in the process of converting the facility, he said. SGT has an application pending with the U.S. DOE for $15 million, but Siegrist does not expect to hear back with a definitive answer for about three months, he said. Once the plant is converted, it will run on the electricity produced when SGT’s biohydrogen is put into fuel cells. “It’s a nice, completely closed system,” Siegrist said.
SGT is in discussions with potential partners, including a 3 MMgy biodiesel plant and a golf course interested in finding green uses for the algae in its ponds, according to Siegrist. The company already has one partnership with Pacific Fuel Cell Corp., he added.

SGT ... Don't have time to find and post the article at this moment but will do so as soon as I can.
At a high level I think we all no its going to make our PBR much more efficient and greatly increase our Algae output.
Maybe just as importantly, they have a pending $15 million deal with the U.S. Department of Energy that BEHL might be able to ride on the coat tails of.
Current share structure in the iBox is accurate and the company has stated they will not dilute which has been backed by their actions. And the share did come from a third party and not the company so no dilution there.
My guess is that he still has most if not all of his shares still. He knows the potential here just as much as we do and I'm sure he has set his sell point pretty high.
More importantly, I would like to know where PSC is at with their shares. Seems like they still hold a big interest in BEHL, but who knows.
Just shows how great of our IR is doing here as he was given those shares down in the triple 0's. when they were worth much.
Thanks again Dale for all your hard work!
Well they did spell that right, it's just not the right word :). I guess we need to hope for spell check along with some peer review.
The site looks pretty good so far. Just hope they run spell check before finalizing the content ... "TOMMORROW".
It's the old website.
This is their current one ...

Crystal - Thanks for the PM ... what a lucky guy!
Pilot - Thanks for the info and glad to hear he is still around. I think I was a little quick on the assumption.
Good to see he is still around and doing some great work for us shareholders as he hasn't posted in a long time. Did he get banned from posting here?
I think the big news that everyone is waiting for and will really send the PPS flying is either the merger details or more information on the partership with SGT. I think most here know the merger details enough that a clarification is needed, but not sure how much effect it will really have as we all know an uplist is coming. SGT is really the wild card here though and could really send BEHL to the forefront of the industry.
Confirmed that we are getting news tomorrow before open and this thing is not upticking EOD???
Either way tomorrow is going to be very exciting!!! I have to make sure to not hit the snooze button tomorrow.
I beleive that is true. One of the BEHL poster had provided a link in the past where Obama stated that he would not give funds to nonreporting penny stocks. Looks like we should be eligable for grants once the uplist takes place though.
BEHL has also stated in a past PR that they have started the process of writing proposals for such grants.
Congrats Captain holding on to those shares and putting in a lot of time here on this board!
I got in this back in the MIHS days and held til about four months ago when it looked like this thing was never going to turn around. I got back in at the end of last week but wish I was still holding all my origional shares.
I do not know anyone there.
I was just asking to see if anyone who may have contact with the company has heard anything about it.
Count me in for that breakfast.
Some interesting SGT videos.
http://www.sustainablegreentechnologies.com/
Notice at the very end of the second video, the news anchor mentions that SGT is looking to partner with another company. Now I think we all know who that 'other company' is and this is just further confirmation.
Glad to see that I'm not the only dreamer here ;).
I think that is what we are all hoping for though and just may be the 'bonus' that Dennis was talking about in the merger PR!
Does anyone have an update on when to expect the ticker to be change to reflect the Enviro Tek Name?
Looks like we finally get an update as to the possible BEHL and SGT partnership and it sounds like the news should be promising. SGT really can open up many doors for BEHL with its increased efficiency and pending deals with the U.S. DOE.
Looks like next week could prove to be extremely exciting for all of us BEHLers. Don't think we have ever been tipped off as to just how many PR's we would be getting in the coming week. Seems odd that PSC already has this info, but as I recall aren't they handling BEHL's PR's for the next two years? I may be off, but I thought that was the agreement when they started promoting BEHL and in that case they should know very well what is to come.
I love the dedication Boss and know its only a matter of time until the BioCentric name is all over the media!
Hope we are all high rollers by the time the Vegas conference rolls around.
We can dream can't we :). Who knows what is possible, but I am purely speculating at this point.
More importantly is that SGT already has pending deals with the U.S. Department of Energy! They also have some experience writing grant proposal which we can only hope they share with us.
