Grocery Sector Activity in Australia for Winning Brands
BARRIE, ON -- (Marketwire) -- 02/25/09 -- Winning Brands Corporation (PINKSHEETS: WNBD) (FRANKFURT: WMU) www.WinningBrands.ca reports that a second ton of Winning Colours Stain Remover will leave the U.S. for Australia immediately to commence initial grocery store sales there Q2 2009. Winning Brands' Australian product Ambassador Kori Walsh reports positive early interest in Winning Colours Stain Remover. Winning Colours is being given a Vendor Number to commence direct-to-store supply to a well known national grocer, initially in 3 Australian states. Results will then be evaluated for the purpose of assessing a national listing. The name of the grocer, which has affiliated stores in other countries, will be released in concert with the placement of the first products on the shelf.
Winning Colours Stain Remover is already available in Canada's leading retailers and gaining ground rapidly across the USA on its way to becoming North America's favourite stain removing product.
Prior to commencement of international testing, Winning Brands had first determined whether its highly concentrated Winning Colours Stain Remover could sustain the cost of shipment from North America and still be competitive in foreign markets. Winning Brands CEO Eric Lehner summarizes the company's position this way: "Winning Colours is known by its existing consumers to be both a stain remover and multi-cleaner. It can be used straight from the bottle for stubborn stains, or highly diluted with plain water as needed. This means that as a stain remover it is well priced (because you don't need much per use) and as a multi-cleaner it is well priced (because you can easily get 10 bottles of diluted mixture from the original). With that terrific value, a little bit of freight per bottle can easily be absorbed into the current pricing model. Container traffic is very sophisticated today -- and particularly attractive for exporters filling empty containers that have to leave North America again after delivering goods from Asia and around the world. North America is the world's largest importing marketplace."
Winning Brands Senior Vice President Lorne Kelly remarks that the grocery sector is not entirely off limits in North America either. "To be frank, we are being steady and careful to manage the channels of distribution. We want our existing business partners to do well financially. This means that we will strike the right balance between store types and sectors. The end point has to be that it is easy for a consumer in North America to find Winning Colours Stain Remover in every town with a population of 2,500 and up. Grocery and convenience stores will have a role to play in this mix.
Also, there are specialty grocers who would like an eco-responsible product that is more than just another green product. The green category is becoming blurred these days because 'green' products are increasingly similar in name and appearance."
Lehner states that it is the inherent position of Winning Brands to be eco-responsible, but that it is not sufficient for long term success.
"Today, eco is a fact of life. There will soon be few if any products left that are not environmental. That's not a distinguishing characteristic which is going to last very long -- it's already lacking distinction. We are ahead of this curve by being 'post-environmental.' That means building brands on the basis of distinctions that are enduring. If everyone is some shade of green, that's not very interesting. We are eco on the inside and a full spectrum of possibilities on the outside"
Winning Colours Stain Remover is manufactured by Winning Brands' production subsidiary Niagara Mist Marketing Ltd. The mission of Winning Brands is to replace hazardous chemicals in widespread use with safer alternatives. Good Morning Everyone and Happy Birthday cougar40!
Should be a great week to be a WNBD shareholder - been waiting for this for over 2 years!!
If i could i'd be glued to my monitor all day with body parts falling asleep. Luckily, from work, i can only check in every now and then. Hope to see that PPS jumping every time i check.
Good Luck Everyone! GO WNBD!! Great company. Great product. Really Great CEO. Phenomenal Board members - congrats to Trusting him on the new "title" - you have always been a voice of reason and will do a great job.
Breathe scup, breathe. LOL it is a LOT to take in. nothin' but good coming all of our ways this year.
GO WNBD!
Thanks Soapy and FFF,
I've been watching WNBD for a long time now and i like to think it can be "the stock to watch in '09".
Didn't know if there was a legal or whatever reason as to why it couldn't take off after 75 million NASCAR fans get a look at it - not to mention the Military and cruiselines.
I'm a happy long and plan to sit back and watch the show this year. Should be a good one!
Best of luck to everyone on this board. I might not always be able to write - but I read everyday and you guys/girls are the best.
Bashers beware - pick on another board, there's a lot of love here! LOL
Rocket will knock you out with DD while Scup slaps you down with the 1001's! :)
Hey Soapy, maybe you can answer my question from a while ago. my post seems to have gotten lost in the sheer volume of messages today:
Hello All - WOOOHOOO WNBD!! Had a feeling 2 years ago when i bought it (happily, some at .0013) and have held all shares as well as added since. Should be a great year for all of us longs.
I do have a question though and i defer to those of you who know more about the market in general and pinks in particular. If everyone agrees that we've built a great base and have a solid foundation and Eric keeps wowing us with these choices, why do i only read that most of you only expect to see us hit .05 from all of this? is it totally out of the question to think that WNBD could take off hugely in the next few weeks/months and hit anywhere from .05 to .50 or higher? if there's enough interest and new buyers with new money - why not?
any input would be greatly appreciated. i don't have as many shares as 7mil (but i'm thrilled for those that do!! :)) but i'd be happy with my house paid off and some padding in the bank.
GLTYA GO WNBD!

GM All. Here's where i wish i had more cash to buy more shares! GLTYA!
GM Trusting - No problem - anything i can do to help only helps us all! Who knows - this might spark others to find out about using WB in their respective workplaces.

Ahh, Good morning Harley, was wondering if you would show up to comment.
Perhaps it would have been more accurate to phrase my statement as "i'm not sure what the standards are for cleaning products used in hospitals"... Who knows, maybe Winning Brands will come up with an environmentally friendly cleaner specific for use in healthcare environments....
thanks for the links though!
GM Kiwi,
Already replied and will be coordinating with my Environmental Services Director as to what they are currently using, etc.
Here's hoping!
Go WNBD!
Eric's reply: Answered at 5:23 this morning!
Dear Ms. Xxxx–
It is wonderful for you to take the time to introduce yourself. Thank you for your interest in Winning Brands Corporation!
So that your company does not waste the opportunity of gaining entry into available markets, we should know more about what you are discussing. Do you have a link to the “Going Green” program that you describe? In fairness to you, I cannot expect that you become an information intermediary, however if you could point us to the official information, we will process the matter internally. I will also ask our U.S. Marketing Coordinator to create a special heading of U.S. Hospitals in the Opportunities section of his records.
Again, thank you for saying hello!

My Email to Eric
Good Afternoon Mr. Lehner,
I have been a stockholder in WNBD since March of 2007 and am beginning to see more and more interest in your products throughout the USA. I work in a large hospital in Florida and was wondering if your cleaning products are currently being used in any other hospitals either in Canada or in the States. We have started our “Going Green” initiative here and I thought of both Winning Colors and Kind as possible alternatives to whatever we are currently using. I am not sure if there are any specific standards that are required to be a cleaning product in a hospital setting, but if it is something you think could be mutually beneficial to pursue, I’m sure it would be an easy matter to find out from our Environmental Services Division.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Thanks Rocket.
can someone post the 2 page ad in RacingOne again - i think i must have deleted it. thanks.
Hello all,
Just sent Eric an email regarding the use of Winning Colors/Kind in a hospital setting.
Will let you know when i hear back from him (or someone else).
The hospital I work for has started a "going green" initiative systemwide (5 hospitals) and while i'm not sure if there are specific types of products that you have to use in a hospital (major germ killing required), i thought it was worth a shot to find out if they're being used in other hospitals.
Question - has anyone called the HD, LOWE's or Walmarts near Daytona Speedway? Wouldn't they have product in place and ready to go with the race this close?
Also, what about a NA like Sherwin Williams? Still well known, if not necessarily as big. Just a thought. I've checked all the Home Depots and Lowes near me in Hollywood, FL - about 5 hours south of Daytona and none of them are carrying anything yet or even have it in the computer yet.
My birthday wish is for WNBD to be that one in a nillion stock that we're hearing about on Foxnews the week after it hits big at Daytona and Oprah hears about it!
GLTYA
looks like nothing has traded since 11:45am? wonder why?
Good Morning all, I called 2 of my local HD's yesterday afternoon and asked them if they carried or had ordered any Winning Colors. Even waited while they checked with a manager and looked it up in the computer. Nothing showing yet!!! I hate the waiting.. But i do have a "feeling" and when it hits it's gonna hit big.
Yeah, but you don't have to hold all your positions to make a wicked profit on the way up to $80. Just sell off a little here and there and make your profit while still maintaining some positions.
thx. have been monitoring this board for a few months now. you guys are too funny. have great hope for the potential i see in wnbd.
maybe wishful thinking, but i don't think so. they are putting themselves in the public eye slowy but surely. print ads instead of expensive tv space was a great move - especially in the NASCAR arena. those types of fans are diehard and loyal and if even a fraction of them like any of the products, we should see it in the sp.
extreme makeover was another smart way to go. national exposure during prime time tv without the price tag - not bad. shows that someone is thinking past this week's share price into the long term. toss in a newly elected president who leans to "green" and you have some massive potential.
my only regret is not having enough money to pick up a few million shares this week! gltya.
WNDB stockholder since March 07. New to posting. What i liked about WNBD even back then was that they had an actual product with a huge potential of use by many different types (dry cleaners, painters, everyday people, etc.), but didn't overhype. Would love to see this stock go through the roof this year - they are definitely laying the right groundwork for it. Holding my breath for daytona. waiting for funds to clear this week and hoping to pick up a few thousand more shares before it takes off. then sitting back and reviewing my retirement options. . . .:)
