Sounds like a important shift in strategy, and I believe a good one.
"acquisition of additional technology and strategic companies would be key in securing its future as a leader in the pre-deployed emergency response market"
Understandably sporadic chart moves, providing nice opportunities for traders, but the real gold here is long term.
As did I. Wish they were photos instead of drawings.
At this point, I'm not sure the terms they talk about (or anything else) will mean as much as an announcement of actual sales. Until then, it's all just speculation.
The further along they get to locking up a viable polymer, the more desireable they will be as a takeover.
Let's all say a collective: "It's About Time!"
"Reovest concluded that Sector 10 could be a barn burner of an investment opportunity in the coming twelve months, and gave the company a speculative buy rating."
Correct. Energtek is not just another NG transportation and storage company, but rather has a lock on a unique and more efficient way to do it.
People who feel the need to buy cars that look like that, and that can go 170 MPH, aren't your average car buyer, and will pay funny amounts of money. But there is no question that these are the people who lead the way for things that the masses will eventually own.
It strikes me how few publicly traded companies (that have real growth potential, unlike GE, etc.) there are in the wind generated energy field.
The advantages of spider silk over steel are well known. What's important are its advantages over Kevlar.
This tree has been planted and watered, and has now grown to the point that it should soon begin to bear fruit.
I can't think of a better position to be in right now than with a green company, in an inevitably and strongly rising green economy.
The video on the Wave doesn't show much, but what it does show is hot stuff. What wealthy electric car enthusiast wouldn't want that baby in the driveway!
It's what everyone is waiting for. Until then, every up and down rumor will provide an opportunity for day traders.
Some of these results could prove to be of significant future value for reasons far removed from spider silk.
In addition, he has established himself as a world class expert on disasters, from standard office building risks to large scale terrorist threats. It's hard to imagine a better selection for the team, and his willingness to join forces with Sector 10 says volumes about what the company represents.
Don't forget that it is Energtek that has the proprietary technologies allowing ANG to be commercially viable.
There is clearly more interest in all-electric cars this year than there has ever been.
AXVC is like a tank full of gasoline. It has huge energy potential, but will have to have a spark, in the form of solid sales, to really set it off.
Look at their record of steady laboratory achievements, results that frankly have surprised even them. Still, there's no reason to assume that this will be a fast game.
What a break. Just the international contacts alone should be worth a small fortune in future business.
Although the Middle East has big natural gas resources, NG is distributed all over the world, including the U.S. and Asia. So the distribution issues are minimized.
Looking forward to the day when there's an electic car in every garage. Great for environment, great for energy independence, great for the economy, and GREAT FOR THE DRIVE!
True. Buy on the rumor, sell on the news.
Certainly some money to be made here with these swings, especially since the long term trend should be upward.
This is where level headed management pays off. They'll continue to be under the magnifying glass as more and more investors become aware.
Their smoke hoods will save some lives, and that will spur more sales. But it's a little like the chicken and the egg. We need enough sales and product presence to allow success stories to come out, and those success stores will be the best thing to promotes sales.
The country's love affair with the idea of an all-electric car has been a long time coming, and it won't go away soon. But the economy has temporarily put a wall up for them. It will be sluggish until things begin to turn.
Is there anyone else watching this board?
We've been seeing levels we haven't seen in 6 months. Could just be the market, but perhaps people that matter are starting to take notice.
Axial has laid out for itself a lot of potential paths, each with a strong potential market. In this economy, I would expect things to move slowly, and patience will the the investor's best friend.
It was my understanding that it would take some time for there to be enough data to allow insurance companies to make those kind of judgements.
There is also a longer term opportunity for the company, as it introduces additional software to process all of the incoming information. This would effectively make the system more efficient and require less human intervention.
And remember, it's not inconceivable that this approach could lead to an entirely new discovery, something with different properties than spider silk, but perfect for a different market. The history of great discoveries is one of accidents.
Perhaps the crowd to aim the marketing at is not the building owner so much as the building occupant. If word gets around, people will start to demand it. These days, fear of losing (or not gaining) a tenant can ncarry a lot of weight.
There are clearly a lot of features/benefits to this product. As the information spreads, it's hard to imagine less than a continuing growth in sales.
The line that I hope potential buyers are seeing is:
"the odds of Kraig Labs successfully developing a commercially feasible spider silk polymer have been greatly increased."
Unfortunately these days a lot of destruction can come in a very small package. As a result, there is more need than ever for people to be able to protect themselves. If ever there was a common sense product, this is it.
Following yes. But still waiting for new earnings.
This new link with NARC provides a link with thousands of key players across the country. It's hard to imagine a better networking step.
And every new development makes them worth more. From a takeover standpoint, prices are good. Now would be the time to capture all this future potential.
