Let's push through those 12's! Nice bounce from today's low, not regretting buying in now. :)
Good to see after I got back in at 0.118 this morning. I was really starting to get worried on the drop. 0.20+ you say? I sure hope so! :)
Hopefully a little buying pressure will take us back up. :)
Well, I was planning on holding, but the trading early this afternoon had me a little worried. So before I went to work, I set an order to sell at a small gain, figuring there was NO way news would come out today while I was at work. That would give me the morning to re-evaluate, and possibly get back in.
That sort of mentality has now cost me 90% gains, two days in a row! Now, you may look at my 46k shares as insignificant, being about $1100, but that's about all I have, trying to make a little extra cash for student loan payments. So $1000 with a 90-100% gain on SSPTD yesterday, parlayed with a 90% gain today, could have put me up to almost $4k! Trust me, I'm kicking myself pretty good right now, but I have only myself to blame.
I'm doing my best to see it as, I bought, I picked my profit target, I executed. I'd rather take the small gains and miss out on the huge gains, if just once, it gets me out before a stock plummets 80% and wipes out my account. :)
Wow! Kind of a mixed reaction to my return home from work (2nd shift, 2pm - 10pm). I bought earlier today, 46k shares at 0.0236, honestly just playing for a small gain. Set an order to sell at 0.027 in case there was a little buying pressure, and then news hit at 3:30 and blew that price out of the water. Happy I made a profit, but disappointed it couldn't have been for more.
Just want to congratulate those who bought up the cheap shares these past few days, and I'm glad a CEO did something they said they would to help out the common shareholder. Good luck to all of you here in OTGI! :)
On the bright side, ASK is thin!
4 on the bid 0.02 or higher, only 4 on the ask under 0.036. A little buying pressure, and we could be right back where we started the day. :)
POT calls have done well today! Flipped the Dec 135 calls for 20% earlier, and foolishly allowed myself to get back in without realizing that I couldn't sell without leading to a margin call ... OOPS!
Hold on until tomorrow POT, just hold on!
I kind of overlooked the fact that tomorrow is the day they will find out whether the FDA has approved their Acetavance application or not ... I knew they were waiting on approval, but didn't register that it said tomorrow.
Ignoring that slight oversight, I was just thinking: If I buy shares at 9.80, sell covered calls at 1.35, and it ends up anywhere above 8.45 on the option's expiration date, I'd at least break even. But seeing as how they have the drug approval deadline tomorrow, probably not worth the risk.
I just want so badly to make money sometimes ... but now I can see that anything like that is probably too good to be true most of the time.
Stupid E*Trade won't let me work with anything but covered calls.
Well, thanks anyways, and good luck trading!
Hey Kamillion, I am new to options, and can only trade covered calls. I've been looking, trying to find some of the Nov. calls that could be worthwhile.
What do you think about selling some covered calls on the Nov CADX $10 calls? Just wondering if you would consider it to be a good idea or not.
Also, any advice you could give on what to look for while trading covered calls? Thanks.
It's ridiculous how much power the MM's have over stocks. Taking it down on 5k trades most of the way from .0024.
Hopefully it starts moving up again, as I was lucky enough to pick up 245k at .0019.
Good job calling the bottom on PIED at .028, all. While I don't have a lot in, today was a nice birthday bonus, up to .04
Hopefully tomorrow morning will go well, as I'll likely sleep in and miss everything up until 1pm or so. I figured you guys would take care of me there, and I had nothing to worry about. (might just be a drunk guy's dream)
PIED .038 x .04 - one impatient seller is bringing this down on low volume
Figures, I miss all the action because I had a quiz in my accounting class.
Would have been nice to take some off the table to get back my initial investment.
I certainly wouldn't mind another end of August type run, even if it does only last a few hours.
And somebody had to sell a bunch at the bid to bring it to .01 x .011
Now a little buying, back to .011 x .012

Wow .. 1 million at the bid .. guess he had a lot more shares to get rid of, and couldn't wait.
Well, at least we're at .0131 x .015 now - just a little bit better.
903,500 traded so far at .014 - DOMS looks to be about finished (I hope)
And a $9.60 trade brings it down 60% ...
DYXC - Shares must be running low at .02 by now
CRAN - .03 x .033
DYXC - .014 x .02
CRAN only needs a little buying pressure, and it will do just that.
I finished buying today, trying to average down a hair.
Now to set an order to sell at a target price, and walk away for a while. $5 / share sound about right? I can always bring it down a bit, but I don't want to start off too low, right?
Huge spread on CRAN right now ..
I wish somebody else actually wanted to buy shares - I was all alone for the most part.
Probably best if I set an order to sell at a target price, and walk away for a while.
That's just not right - 2 on the ask at .02, and they held back my order for 15 minutes - then one moved off the ask, and the other filled 5k shares!
Good, because I'm trying to average down a bit, and they're holding back my order at .02.
I may have gone in a little too heavy on this one, given its behavior.
Hey Brick, what are you doing with CRAN right now?
I'm still in at a higher average than I would have liked, so do you think there's a chance for another pop here shortly?
I see someone was impatient, and took this down EOD.
Somebody's dumping their shares at the bid. 15k so far ...
And we're back to .02 x .03 ..
CRAN - .035 x .055
Spread trying to tighten up a bit
Looks like the buyers are being EXTREMELY patient. If somebody would just buy at the ask, I'm sure they'd start moving a little more quickly!
LOL
At a standstill, with both sides trying to more persistent than the other.
The spread is huge, but nobody wants to sell for less than .064 or buy for more than .034. Hope about we settle on the middle-ground at .049, to get one step closer to that .05 break.
I always knew NITE had multiple personalities. LOL
CRAN .034 x .064
That I do!
And once I finally sell and take the BIG profits I'm going to make here, I'll never forget it. Nice move on this one.
.04 x .045 ... very nice!
Any luck?
CRAN - Low O/S shell play - 1,858,000
.03 x .034 right now. May be worth looking into, IMO.
Filled my last 10k after a 20 minute wait.
