Only a sadistic SOB would have enjoyed the Fs this afternoon. A day watching soap operas (which I hate) would have been more enjoyable and productive. E*Trade made quite a bit more than I did today. All those trades and a flat day for me.

That's exactly what I did too. Too many buy signals invalidated more or less right off the starting line. Just shook my head and turned off E*Trade Pro. Tomorrow's another day.

To be honest, it's really a case of "what do they have to lose". They control the buying by simply not allowing it to occur. Given the 10s of millions of shares they're short, it's not a big deal for them to short another couple hundred thousand in an attempt to see if maybe... just maybe they can scare people out by breaching the 200. Of course, they know and we know that it is simply not going to shake any shares loose. But again... what do they have to lose by trying.

Personally I think it's a waste of time. But it will allow me to start funneling some day trading funds into CDIV, so I'm not complaining. ;)

That's exactly why this has been so drawn out. I think the MMs conceded the squeeze quite a while ago. Now they are whittling away at our expectations of what we're going to get. They're hoping that those that were looking for 15 are so mentally spent that they'll gladly take 5.

It was awesome... Apparently the firewall here at work interferes with E*Trades MarketTrader (I knew it stopped Pro). So I missed out on two trades that failed to execute. Still made about 2% in an hour. Shoulda been 4%+. But I'll take it. I got past the nerves and feeling good. 5 trades... 4 positive... 1 slightly negative.

Yes it is... Gonna be singing My Way tonight... lol

You won't be out of place. Tool despite being an awesome band somehow managed to keep themselves out of the limelight. I think there's gonna be a good number of us 30-somethings at their concert.

I've been combining the skills learned in the monkinars with simple support/resistance lines. It has been working VERY well... I've been able to catch quite a few near bottoms and get the most our of quite a few quick trades. If you stick to the rules, it's very hard to get hurt. Keep it up man...

I was at karaoke last week (I know... big surprise) and one of the guys got up to sing Sober... I was so freaking stoked until he started singing. Man did he butcher it. I think next week I'm gonna sing it to keep him from having a chance... lol

That break and retest of 20.00 was textbook perfect. Good trade.

Yeah, for now, I've been avoiding that time for two reasons.

1) That time seems consistently difficult to trade
2) Until I'm doing this full time, I do need at least a block a day dedicated to the W thing... lol

Great band list there. Gotta add Red Hot Chili Peppers and Soundgarden. I pretty much like any rock from the 60s,70s,90s, and early 00s. I'm not a big fan of the 80s. But I found that even if I HATE an 80s song, I find myself singing along. I think that's why I dislike the decade so much... lol

Always was a rocker, always will be. While I did listen to some rap, I was really big into the grunge/alternative movement in the early 90s. I even spent a couple years as the lead singer of a grunge cover band... lol

I had to laugh. I found myself remembering listening to NWA and Body Count. I can't believe I just admitted that... lol

People really need to understand what is at stake here. Unlike the other FLDs, CDIV is highly visible and heavily followed right now. If the MMs lose this fight, then everyone will see that they can be beaten. So understand that they will fight this to the bitter end. As of now, the have an air of invincibility. Take away that illusion and they are in for a world of hurt.

This method of exposing their illegal tactics is both legal and easily copied (if you have a group of investors willing to help one another). Can you imagine what would happen if these tactics started getting used all over?

But let's be honest. While their pain will be immense, it's only temporary. The tactics they have been using have been honed over decades of application. They will adapt. They will find ways to make this work for them. I don't believe for one moment that this will set them straight and cause them to start acting honest. Human beings can adapt, but they don't change at their core. We too will need to adapt. But for now, our strategy is superior.

NONE of the monkinars have been to drum up money for FLDs. I've been to two, and the FLDs were barely talked about in one and not talked about at all in the other. In fact, the only reason they were brought up in the one is because someone asked a question about them. Those seminars are to talk about trading, not pumping money into CDIV or any other FLD.

It's not coincidence at all. This is like any other well planned military campaign. We have deception of strength by our opponent backed up with propoganda to weaken our spirts.

Unfortunately for the MMs, they're looking a lot like North Korea right now. Loud barking with nothing to back it up. In fact, their actions seem to have the opposite effect. I'm gearing up to buy some more as a big FU to them. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

And to be honest, it's better to not reply to them at all. There's a whole lot of TOS reporting going on over their and they're doing whatever they can to try to get longs restricted or banned.
