Hey, I'm wishing really hard, if that helps.
Those guys might be reading, but they ain't talkin'. And of course this being the Center of the Universe as far as good FRPT trading goes, well, tell 'em your getting in at 24.01 and put the bid at 24.05.
Uh-Oh. My Spidey sense is tingling....
Very nice trade. Looking for re-entry near 24? What's the plan so the hedge funds will know how to play this?
Thanks for the info. Makes my heart go all pity-patter to know I'm playing with the big boys. :)
JSDA: can it break 16 today?
ELN: Too early, but what's new there? Just wait it out...
I tried stops and I always got taken out before a good run. I've heard that should be a basic part of a trader's arsenal, but the only way it works for me is to keep a mental stop. I'm hoping this takes a couple days to run as I will have a "Good Faith" violation if I sell today. That won't stop me if it goes beyond 25, though.
Keep your eye on it for a bit. Don't let 'em take out your position and then run the stock. This is the bit of news we've been waiting for to run this one up.
FRPT
Lookin' for 25...again. Probably sell before that point if it makes a sharp move.
ELN
Got some at 22. This is my wife's favorite stock and she does very well with it. My trading has generally been too early on the buys as well as the sells. Good trader, though.
Wonderful. I'm just above parity for the trade. Hate to admit how many times that happens to me.
My first time. We shall see.
Edit: your FRPT lookin' real good.
Got JSDA at 15.
Now that looked smart. Classic sell the news and I was shark bait--for a while.
Yup, played it like a chump. But I still think it's going higher today. Big bet on this one, but with a considerable cushion.
Paid the piper and am back in big.
Damned if it wasn't. I'll wait out this move for a while. Still, having cash is not a bad thing.
Totally out of FRPT here at 23. Of course it is now moving up without me...
FRPT
What! And not be able to indulge my conspiracy theory paranoia?
Actually, I might have to move it down from where it is now. canceling current order.
CNR: Yes, did this one nicely a couple of years ago. They make me nervous, though and this could be gap and crap. If I don't get it in premarket, I'm likely to just watch for now.
JSDA: This would be my first venture. Have just watched it casually for the last couple of months. 15.25 looks like a barrier.
FRPT: They missed me by a penny on Tuesday. You think they were reading this board and did it to me on purpose?
FRPT: Have order in for 22.30.
CNR: Might try this one. Have order in for .92. I've played it before, but truthfully, I'm not impressed with the management no matter how much oil they are sitting on.
JSDA: Thinking about this one. Nice support down here, but inclined to watch for now.

Back down to token positions in FRPT (so I don't get left out of a good run), but sold most all of it from 22.85 to 22.95. Have buy orders in at 22.25.
Not much reason for me to hang around at this point. Off to the hardware store. If I don't post again today, everyone have a great 4th.

Good chart there. Good target sell MA (50). As you say, we shall see...
He wouldn't complain. Long as the account is rising, he and his wife just say, "Keep doin' what you're doin."
I tend to beat myself up a little bit when I make a mistake like that, though. Just got lucky this morning.
Most of the low trades this morning are higher than the high trades in yesterday's AH. While I'm of the opinion we will go on the 24.80 and possibly beyond, that might not be the case this morning. My thought right now is if I can get anything close to 24, I will have done well. I will not sell everything though.
My experience with premarket on movers indicates that the high there is often the high of the day. Sell into premarket if you can.
Bid back in at .35, but my own acct. this time.
Well, that worked out all right, but not because I was smart or anything.
MOVI
Put in a bid at .35 and got it. Unfortunately, wasn't paying attention, and it was my brother's account. I'll be glad if I can extricate him at .45. Don't like gambling with my brother's funds.
Late to the game. Sell order in now at 24 for shares I bought yesterday at 22. We shall see. Might put some other dump orders in other accounts.
Don't worry about it. This one is going higher. Next stop: 50 day at about 24.80. If you want out sooner, just put in your order for the high; you are likely to get it before the end of the session.
We are good to go.
Guess the nap will have to wait. Put in a sell at 24.80 in case this gets out of hand. Not to say I'll not act sooner. Typical FRPT AH.
Don't see any news. Know anything going on there?
Ah, thanks. Early close = early nap.
You think so? If it gaps, I will probably sell into it, barring any significant news.
I believe it is just a half-day tomorrow?
I'd sure like to see it close there. I feel a lot better now...
It's all over the map. Buying or selling, whatever I chose to do now would likely be wrong.
Lookin' better. Would love to see a little volume. Maybe before the close...
FRPT
I'll tell you, that article indicates there is quite a bit more government funds to be spent on the vehicles. Don't be surprised to see some pretty good shakes. Also, did you see where they had been added to the naked short list? Personally, I just don't want to be completely out of this one right now. My buy this morning might prove to be foolish, but they announce one big contract and we could, at the very least, be trading above 23 in a heartbeat.
Would you want to be short this stock from here?
Yeah, but look at that volume spike, and it could not break through. I'm still holding...

Not that I'm averse to trading the occasional pink, but I do it with as much information as I can find or hold for a very short period. They may want to save money from exchange compliance issues; I really couldn't say. There are perhaps others here with more knowledge on this one, but without information, tread cautiously. (Also, kind of out of my comfortable trading range, but that's a personal issue.)
That it does, but with no real conviction, one way or the other.
Opps...down she goes. But still no real volume.
Like you, I have other things to do today, but since I'm more a swing trader, I'll take the chance and hold. Hope I don't come back here to an unpleasant surprise.
