Sounds like a panic play. They are now representing themselves and are trying to minimize exposure. They know they are screwed.
What Law Firm is representing the Daic party? Anybody have that info?
You would think one of these carriers would just buy us out(basically settle) and have the Patents for themselve. They would
then be able to hang this over the head of the other Cell companies.
I don't want BS company info about deals just around the corner
either. I would appreciate some type of better, direct communication between the BOD and stockholders. I still think our Attorney's have put a lid on any PR's/Stockholder communication.
I'd settle in a New York minute if we could get it on our terms.
Last heard he was working on a deal at the end of last year. Why...what have you heard?
Valenti is still involved.
Thanks Final 4 for the link. These guys are a piece of work.I hope they pay dearly for what they have done to this company. Their response is a bunch of Boiler Plate mumbo jumbo. Absolute stall tactic because they have no "real" response.
I really believe that Mgt has something brewing...licensing deals, ect. I think because we are actively involved in litigation, that they could be advised by our Counsel to curtail/limit any news. Just my opinion...we'll have to see.
We had a payment we were suppose to pay Daic and we(CLYW)could have fulfiiled that debt if they didn't interfere. They(Daic and Pattin) killed the ACACIA deal which would have given us $5M upfront. We could of then paid these guys. Their plan was and has been to block any chance we had to fulfill our debt obligations. They are now stalling...they don't need any details. They already have all the details. They are in the wrong and will lose this case.
They are stalling. They disagree with everything and want specifics. Can they be that stupid?(O.K. the question answers itself) I will bet that Dave and Cristian are pissing vinegar.
Anybody able to post Daic's court response?
All it takes is an updated Website with a "Letter From Your President" or a "Letter From Your BOD." Don't get me wrong...I totally support the new MGT/BOD's.
I know this BOD's has their hands full...and they are doing a good job in my opinion. I would appreciate some form of direct communication to the Stockholders.
Glad to see Dave still buying shares. I assume he is under orders from our attorneys not to let any info out...good or bad. I can't get a peep from Cristian or Dave. I guess it bodes well for our case against Daic to keep the stock price down. Why else has there been no communication with the stockholders?
I'm wondering at this point if the Calypso BOD's would be open
to a quick out of court settlement with Daic. You would think Daic and Williamson have to be crapping their pants at this point. There is no way these guys can defend these charges. They have left a trail a mile long.
On the other side...if we do go to trial, we have a real shot at getting the $100M judgement thrown out.
Denied baby!!! Denied! O.K. T-Mobile...just belly up to the counter and make us an offer. Buy us out and own the technology...you will make a fortune.
Anybody know how long this has been posted on the www.calpsowireless.us website? Wonder if this has anything to do with the announcement this week?
ASNAP for IPhone
just announced the porting of ASNAP for the iPhone that allows you to switch onto a VoIP network whenever you hit an open hotspot.
Here’s the feature list:
* Make and receive calls over WiFi
* Transfer inbound calls from your regular cell minutes to WiFi instantly
* Access your same address book
This new BOD's have done a great job in starting to clean up the mess they inherited. What we need now is a new website and some communication with the Stockholders. Where is Cristian? How about a new message outlining where we go from here.
Anbody have status on the infringement injuction against T-Mobile?
THE CASE AGAINST T-MOBILE WAS NOT DISMISSED...THAT'S THE GOOD NEWS HERE. THE CASE PROCEEDS AGAINST THEM.
Two noteworthy big points here:
1. Calypso is seeking an injuction to halt T-Mobile from infringing on the 923 patent. Get this and we force them to bargain with us.
2. We are seeking damages from Daic for interference in the Companies affairs. We want money...hopefully big money.
This court update is great news. As I understand the strategy... CLYW wants to get T-Mobile to negotiate, not drag this court case out. In order to do that, we need a licensing deal for leverage. Now that we've gotten rid of the hinderance from the inside, maybe Cristian can work his magic.
Difference this time is we have Dave and Cristian at the helm...these guys I trust. What we need is to monetize the patent in some form...we need a deal.
We need some type of news release from the Company. This will prompt a big breakout.
Huge volume...somebody is loading up.
This is F*CKING huge. This clears title on the patent so Cristian can now close some of the deals he has been working on.
The last part of this item is interesting:
7. Calypso will not act to transfer, sell or otherwise encumber the Calypso IP prior to the earlier of an adjudication of Calypso's claims relating to the 2008 Agreement in the Pending State Court Lawsuit, or the dismissal of Calypso's claims in the Pending State Court Lawsuit, or entry of an Order in the Pending State Court Lawsuit authorizing Calypso to obtain ownership or possession of, or to transfer, sell or foreclose upon any of
the Calypso IP.
***This paragraph does not limit Calypso’s right or ability — subject to the terms of the 2008 Agreement — to transfer any of the Calypso IP to third parties (e.g., TMobile).
(Maybe there is already a deal with TMobile)
Does anyone know our current default amount owed to Daic at this time. He took the patents because we(CLYW)were in default. How much?
The Noose tightens around their criminal necks. They are either sweating bullets or too stupid to sweat bullets.
FINRA is investigating Pattin...I love it. I remember one phone conversation when he told me the ACACIA deal was not good for Stockholder's. What a croack of crap!
Question: What about The Daics, Williamson, ect? Do they fall under the same investigation?
Cougar6-Never said it was illegal. This statement was posted in support of Dave Wiiliams, not against him. God bless him if he is funding any part of the legal proceeding.
Deer Slayer...that's a valid concern. Is Mr. Williams basically
making illegal insider trades? When you first brought up the issue...I wasn't sure what to make of it, so I did a little research. Found this definition of insider trading...it is as follows:
"Insider trading entails the purchase and sale of corporate shares by officers, directors, and stockholders who own more than 10 percent of the stock of a corporation listed on a national exchange."
Mr. Williams owns around 3 Million shares, so he is well below the 10 percent mark.
I don't know Dave Williams or Cristian Turrini, but as a CLYW stockholder I'm more than happy to have them running this show. The only other alternative was the Daics, his Attorney and
Richard Pattin. We all know where that has gotten us.
One last thing. I don't know where they are getting the money for our legal expenses. But I wouldn't be suprised if Mr. Williams was either funding it or getting some of the other large shareholders to chip in.
Calypso Wireless to Seek Court Action to Stop Auction of Its Patents - CBL
President Richard Pattin Forced to Resign
By Citybizlist Staff
HOUSTON - Calypso Wireless Inc. (OTC: CLYW) plans to seek court remedies in its patent battle against Drago Daic and others, according to an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The decision followed reports that Daic and Jimmy Williamson had assigned the disputed patents to a receiver to be auctioned Jan. 15. The auction previously had been scheduled for Dec. 18.
Daic and Williamson, who are represented by the law offices of Kelly Stephens in Houston, are auctioning the patents after alleging a default by Houston-based Calypso of a settlement agreement.
The disputed patents cover technology that enables wireless users to roam across wide-area network access points, such as cellular towers, and short-range Internet access points, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Calypso also said in the filing that it had accepted the resignation of President and director Richard Pattin and dismissed his claim of a five-year employment agreement. The company said it would continue investigations into the role of Pattin in the management of the company and retained the right to recover potential damages.
Pattin had on Dec. 13 been asked by Calypso's Governance Committee to disclose his external affiliations. He acknowledged receipt of this notice but did not respond by the Dec. 16 deadline
Volume and pricing definitely indicates that the next chess move on our part has been determined and is ready to be put into action.
Richard Pattin should be investigated by FINRA. What a piece of work this guy was.
This is what I know. I've talked to a number of people (BOD's, Cristian, Mr. Storm, ect) since Mr. Williams got involved. For the first time since I've owned CLYW...we actually have a group of people that are working(fighting back) on behalf of the Stockholders. Can they stop these thieves from basically stealing our patent? Everybody that I have talked too has been fairly optimistic that they can. Am I nervous that the auction date is coming down the pipe? Yes I am, but I'm more confident than ever that we've got a shot at turning this around. Just my opinion...I'm hopeful because I own a crap-load of shares.
Another Insider buy...not a big amount, but these guys must have something in the works.
They are buying because they are confident that they can finally turn this company around. Most likely an injunction to stop the auction of our patents, seek legal damages and hopefully SEC involvement(if they are not already involved). Pattin was part of the D.E.Wine Investment group...I wouldn't be suprised if they were yanked into this. JMHO
Richard Pattin quote:
Quote: "The Acacia deal is not a good deal for the Calypso stockholders. Acacia wants too big of a percentage." Truth...he and Daic were setting the stockholders up so we couldn't meet our financial obligations.
I hope...you that have tried to screw us stockholders go to jail and rot in hell.
Calypso's patents are definitely worth some big money. I have a ton of shares and will hold...selling is not the right move at this point. Dealing with these idiots is frustrating when you look at the potential of this company. You can tell by the lack of volume that stockholders are holding. If we could at least get Daic to "come to his senses"...this thing would fly. I just don't get it. Daic has a ton of shares. Would he not benefit greatly from seeing this Company do well? You can't auction patents that you don't legally own. I'm sorry...I am asking for rational behavior from someone who doesn't know the meaning.
