I have been on vacation and just checked in. I had over two hundred posts to read. I am planning on being there for the trial. I agree with Highrider on just about all of his points and will post some more when I get back after labor day and have time to read through all the fillings! Exciting time for us longs!!!!
Thank you as always for the documents.
Court transcripts usually take awhile to be made available and you usually have to pay for them. What I did last time was brought an audio recorder and in between breaks in the courtroom testimony I did a brain dump outside. I used written notes as cues to recall as much as I could.
Thanks for the quick information link ElisComing
If it is anything like the trial in Deleware, they wouldn't allow any recording devices of any kind in the courtroom - iPhone's included. Does anyone know the location, time and courtroom so I can check on flights?
I might go to the marksman hearing if flights are reasonable and I have the time in my schedule.

I've been keeping an eye on things here on the forum and have been in communication with a few other shareholders, but for the most part I have just been attending to other things.
I share the same frustration that many of you have vocalized on here regarding the lack of communication from the receiver. I had hopes that he would embrace the general shareholder community in a meaningful way that would result in some clarity on past issues, what was owed and to whom.
It is encouraging to me to see that we are heading towards the marksman hearing and that there is little chance of it being delayed by either side.
I don't like that details regarding the settlement with Drago were not made known to the entire board, let alone the shareholder / investor community. I feel like there is another shoe that is yet to drop out of that closet.
At the moment, it seems like Drago's interests are aligned with the general shareholder since as many of you have also speculated, his best chance of a big payout is to lead the charge against t-mobile.
There is tremendous value here for any major handset equipment manufacturer, telecom or software company and I am looking forward to seeing our patent auctioned off to the highest bidder should it come to that.
Thank you for posting as always bacatcha... I will update the sticky with these documents any any others that came in the last month before the end of the week. Appreciated.
I've stepped into this role before ki2002rom and quite honestly, I do not intend to step into it again unless a significant number of things change. It is entirely too time consuming and for what - I can't get 20 minutes on the phone with the receiver every few months. Despite offering to continue brokering communication with shareholders on multiple occasions, it just doesn't seem to be a priority to the receiver. I've talked to the guy on a few occasions but he is extremely busy and getting even a few minutes of his time to return phone calls or emails is tough.
I certainly have plenty of relevant experience and am quite effective at administrating and research - but anything that I do would need to be authorized by the receiver otherwise it is problematic at best.
Then you have ex-company insiders still posting on this forum under various aliases spinning propaganda and bashing folks who are contributing and trying to maintain open dialog. It's too much sometimes - I check in like once a week now a days.
The whole industry is abuzz with this kind of news. Microsoft should buy ASNAP, integrate it in the Windows 8 OS and partner with Qualcomm to integrate the technology into the handset hardware. Combine that with their new SKYPE IP acquisition and offer carriers huge seamless roaming bandwidth offloading to give their Windows 8 phones a fighting chance against the iPhone 5 in the fall.
If they don't do something they are going to flop before they even get out of the gate. They just can't compete with the seamless upgrade path and longevity of iOS without offering carriers and consumers a considerable cost savings.
Sometimes I wonder what folks in this industry are thinking. Carriers would line up at Microsoft's front door to license this technology.
And if Microsoft doesn't buy it, Google or Apple certainly should. Can you imagine the damage if Android or Apple iOS came integrated with seamless roaming. Makes me crazy sometimes thinking about how poorly this IP has been managed over the past 7 years!!!!!!
Honestly Hot... Are you starting this whole line of discussion back up again? I agree with other posters that it is not appropriate to post this as a sticky - especially considering the judges ruling and all of the documents that have been made public.
You have a right to post your opinion of course, but shareholders have endured enough of this kind of one-sided propeganda and I beleive it is a disservice to everyone for these kinds of comments to be made "sticky".
I updated the court docs sticky with the stuff that has come up over the last two months. Hopefully the receiver will have an update for the court within a few weeks.

I have nothing. Moved onto other projects until there is forward movement with tmobile
Thanks for keeping an eye on the court websites. I appreciate your input. Let's hope we hear something soon.
I see that - I can update the court doc sticky with all the latest. Other than the stuff that is up there, do you have anything else you think should be added?
I will help write that case study and will be happy to write the screen play as well.
I'll put it up when I get home later.
Nice sentiment and a distinct possibility if the marksman hearing is favorable.
Still around. Haven't heard anything from anyone recently. Haven't dedicated a whole lot of time calling folks lately because I've been busy with other projects. As many other posters are observing and have observed in the past, we are hitting a critical mass in the wireless industry that requires short range wireless seamless offload. I hope along with the rest of you that our receiver is doing everything in his power to maximize the value of our patent.
This mediator has a lot of experience. Check out his Bio:

I suspect that the new attorney's are on board because of the reputation and professionalism of the receiver. You know just as well as I do that there is incredible value here.

I'll redo the sticky later this weekend with all the updated documents.
I have been approached by a number of folks asking me to broker communication for stock trades between interested parties. Considering the situation that this company is in and the accusations that have been made of insider trading at the trial a few months back, the SEC administrative proceedings, the T-mobile litigation, and a big question mark with what is going on with our receivership - I will not be participating in brokering this kind of communication so please do not ask.
On this topic, does anyone have any information about what the law is regarding trading stock that has been halted by the SEC? What are the implications, the process? What is available for shareholders that hold shares through a broker as opposed to certificates directly?
I myself will not be selling my shares, however I believe an informative post with good information would benefit a number of people on here that would like to know what their options are.
Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks for posting
You can't be serious?!? Shoot, I'd buy them for that price. Never traded a delisted stock before. How would it work? I'm on etrade.
You are preaching to the choir - you and me both.
Thanks for yet another reminder how valuable this technology and patent is.
I have nothing. Admittedly I have been extremely busy and have not had the time to dig lately. The receiver has not provided me with any updates or engaged me to put any updates out on the website. I agreed that I would post content approved by the full board as well and have not had any requests come down that channel either.
I can reach out to the receiver this week and see what is going on.
Looks like Highrider withdrew as a moderator. Haven't seen him around in awhile.
I have gotten every indication that i-hub will continue to host and monitor this message board, even though we've been de-listed. Perhaps they were having some technical issues last night. I noticed that there wasn't a single post all day yesterday.
When I was considering serving on the board a few months ago, I shopped around and couldn't find a single company who would offer me D & O insurance with Calypso. I couldn't even find anyone willing to extend my personal professional liability insurance.
I mean think about it. We had the pending litigation with T-mobile, the pending litigation with Drago, the board was in turmoil, we had dozens of creditors who were all quite upset and a hostile situation with shareholders. I mean even if you managed to find someone to insure you, all of those conditions would have to be written in and excluded as preexisting conditions so your insurance would essentially be worthless anyhow.
Calypso doesn't have any insurance of any kind.
Whether it was "I was told" or "I found out" or "I came across this information"... the source is not cited so other investors cannot properly evaluate the statement.
If he were to say... "While on the phone with the SEC, I was told that Dave Williams is under investigation for insider trading"... we'd all know that he was blowing smoke in our faces because the SEC has a policy against this kind of thing.
See what I'm getting at.
It may be true, but considering that a good percentage of HOTs comments in the past were partially true or missing some other important fact that changes the meaning of what he is saying, it is difficult to evaluate.
It's like the boy who cried wolf.
I think it is quite likely that the SEC is investigating all of the directors for fraud, insider trading, misleading filings, misrepresenting material events to shareholders, fraudulent reporting and the list goes on and on. One of those possible reasons may be that Dave is also being investigated for insider trading. Or it could just be made up. Without a source - who knows.
Refer to my last post.
I reviewed post 56162 as you directed and you must be mistaken as the post you referenced was another poster.
Hot mentioned in post 56165 the words "I was told" in the context of a sentence about Dave Williams being the major reason everything was a mess. I guess you are assuming this statement also refers to how he came across the alleged SEC investigation? It really doesn't matter at the end of the day. I am sure the company and all of its directors are under investigation by the SEC, Dave Williams being one of those Directors.
It certainly makes sense. I would love to find out who is "telling" HOT these things considering that the flow of "information" since we have been in receivership seems to be less erratic. It certainly wasn't the receiver, the SEC or any of the lawyers.
It isn't just you HOT. It is frustrating for me as a shareholder when people jump on this message board and drop comments like they were fact without providing sources.
It could be true, it could not be true, it could partially be true in the context of a more comprehensive investigation of all the directors. Why you continue to want to throw me into the Dave Williams fan club when I ask you to provide sources for your statements is beyond me.
Enjoy your vacation.
