So do you think it could be a distributor/wholesaler rather than a retail store?
Okay...help me figure this out. Who has 10,000 locations that lines up with this company??? I can't find a fit. Maybe it is more than one company? Starbucks has 10,241 locations as of their last public count. Maybe they will introduce the Billy Martin Buck-chute Hot Chocolate!
Okay, seriously, what are some guesses at this?
Here's some stores I looked at quickly and the number of retail locations:
Walgreens 5,000
CVS 5,461
Starbucks 10,241
Walmart about 4,000-5,000 world-wide
Target 1,400
Costco 471
Subway 22,000 (Maybe a Doug Newton character cologne in a happy meal!)
Kohls 731
Nothing seems to fit the 10k mentioned... Help me out here. I'm feeling kinda dumb about this.
I'm showing no volume yet...Is that correct? Does anyone have any orders in? Maybe the MM's are just trying to figure out what to do with this today.
That was one of my guesses as well...
Okay...I'm personally done for now. Locked and loaded with an even 10M. Let's get this thing rolling with a PR with some recognizable names.
How in the world are they absorbing all this buying????
There aren't too many shows in my opinion that fit the Billy Martin style. I mean you could push it onto a few shows I understand that aren't really related to the style, but there is only 1 or 2 shows to me that seem like an obvious fit. Have to wait and see....
Very positive....16M all buys...the negative is that they aren't moving us up. Although some MM's are getting out of the way. Should see .0007 soon in my opinion...
I wonder what the "well-known TV series" is?
I could take a couple of guesses, but I think I'll keep them to myself after the last lost bet!
Yeah yeah yeah....Their intent was for before the call....
Oh well...
PRESS RELEASE COMING!!!!
It's not looking too good on my bet...but I still have an hour! Let's see what happens.
The excitement builds...
I still think we may get a PR today...maybe I'm just hoping, but I would think an early afternoon PR right before the CC would make sense.
Let's watch and see together.
We still got that bet????
It may be in our best interest to organize a set of short direct questions to ask. I am sure that time will be very limited and we want to make sure the most important questions are addressed and that we don't waste a lot of time asking the questions. I would like to suggest that we form a list of questions here to help with the process. When it is your turn to ask a question, you can simply take the next one off of the list that hasn't been asked. Remember...short and concise.
This isn't to say you can't ask questions that aren't on the list, or that come to you at the moment, but the more we can come up with ahead of time that are IMPORTANT, the better.
Just a thought.
Okay whatever...you're getting really technical now. My point is that I don't think you spend money on a conference call to paint more doom and gloom.
Something good is coming. I could be wrong. It's just a gut feeling. I suspect that those that get out today will be sorry. Pink sheets are a risk. Some feel exactly the opposite and that it is all over and are jumping ship. I don't see that here, but who knows??? I'm willing to take the risk for hopefully, the very great reward.
My opinion only...
Last time I checked these type of companies don't accept shares.
It totally depends on the number of callers and the length of the call. I would expect this call would be around $1000. Maybe not a ton, but a lot for a company that has no money...
I still think good news is coming. Small pink sheet companies don't hold conference calls to say the world is ending. It is way to expensive.
Just my opinion...
I guess you are right... Doesn't look good.
It's possible I guess, but that would take some huge selling. We still have 9 MM's at .0005
(OT) Off Topic: Jeff's other company MDKM has news out...
Looks like they have two different areas that are of interest. The big one in my mind is a Deisel Fuel Additive that has been verified by the EPA as reducing emissions while increasing gas mileage by 5-10%. I guess the main application is in rail roads and other commercial applications. Sounds interesting. I'm especially intrigued by the fact that it is EPA verified.
They are also promoting a Max Heal product that sounds like it has interesting applications, but I'm not sure I'm sold on that.
Here's the news:
MDEChem Issues Corporate Update; OTC Bulletin Board Listing to be Pursued
HOUSTON, Jan 31, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- MDEChem, Inc. (PINK SHEETS:MDKM) is pleased to announce that this past Friday, January 20th 2005, it held a strategy meeting consisting of management, consultants, shareholders and others instrumental to the success of the Company.
During the meeting, it was announced that the Company's 2004 & 2005 financials will be completed in the next couple of weeks which will lead to the Company making application to be listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. In addition to the Bulletin Board listing, the Company provided an update on Envirofuels LP, its operating partner and maker of the Diesel Fuel Catalyzer.
"We addressed some very serious issues going forward as it relates to the success of MDEChem including participation with Envirofuels LP and also with the MDEChem's sister Company, Costa Rican based, M.E.D. Quimica S.A., the maker and marketer of Maxheal." stated Paul Sack, MDEChem's President and CEO. Maxheal is a wound healing gel that has numerous wound healing components which is used directly on a human's wound. Mr. Sack continued, "We flew in Dr. Enrique Feoli, the inventor of the Maxheal process, from Costa Rica to address the meetings participants, and he expanded on the numerous potential uses of the Maxheal formula for use not only in human applications but in the Animal Health sector." Dr. Feoli gave a detailed overview of all the potential uses of the Maxheal gel, which will be produced and then sold in the U.S. Since Maxheal has been selling for a minimum 5 year timeframe, FDA clearance is not necessary as this would be an over-the-counter product available in the U.S. MEDQ has had as its principal mission to develop innovative drug formulations based on a patented water-soluble basic molecule, which is owned by MDEChem. MEDQ has perfected a family of products that could be registered and introduced into the market in the near future. Most of the products have matching clinical studies and scientific evidence to back them up. Registration renewals and registration of new products can be accomplished from facilities in Costa Rica. Foreign markets could follow shortly after registration of products is secured. It is estimated that the asthma product within 6 months of concluding a pre-clinical and clinical study could be safely and efficaciously used in controlling asthma in children and adults worldwide. Resources for these actions are being pursued presently, not solely for sales purposes but also for seeking patent protection of the applications. MEDQ authenticated an innovative product for skin treatment in 1999. Since then MEDQ has established the complete safety of the product. The excellent record of safety of use on humans and the extremely favorable LD50 of the basic molecule greater than 20% better toxicity than substances considered by the EPA as safe.
During late 2000 and early 2001, Dr. Feoli developed a family of hydrogels that according to a bio-availability study done in animals in early 2001 would function in a friendly way and in a much more efficaciously way than a solution. The gels could be employed additionally as controlled delivery system. A sanitary registration was filed in Costa Rica for the skin treatment gel developed by Dr. Feoli and it was approved on April 24th 2001.
MDEChem, Inc. owns 100% of M.E.D. Quimica S.A. as of a July 26, 2004 Letter of Understanding which details each companies mission statement, plus all royalty, licensing and marketing arrangements for the manufacture and distribution of product worldwide.
In regards to the Envirofuels LP Diesel Fuel Catalyzer, sales continue to grow. While the Company expects to make public a major railroad line purchase sometime in the near future, sales continue to mount with the addition of more smaller, local line railroads now totaling 30 across the U.S.A.

He finally got it through. I guess they just needed a little push!
For what it's worth, I have personally bought 5M this morning and yet we are down on the ask. I think we're getting played a little bit.
Broker calling down to see if he can get it through.
Still not filling...on the phone with my broker.
NITE and UBSS are on the ask...should at least get a partial....but nothing yet.
I've got 1,875,000 left at .0006 ....and they ain't filling me.
Maybe a call to my broker is in order.
Somebody is screwing around...They just filled for me for 3M at .0007 and then dropped it to .0006.
I'm going in for more too...
Oddly enough, I understood that...
Okay...I'm confused. You said you think there's a PR coming, but the company does the opposite of what you think is going to happen, so that means you think a PR is not coming. But since you've put that in print, which means that's what you're thinking, doesn't that mean you gotta take the opposite of that which means you're thinking a PR is coming!!! I knew we agreed.... LOL
10 paces....Draw!
I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree!
I understand where you are coming from though...
Gentlemen's wager????
I would tend to disagree about a PR before the CC. I would genuinely be shocked if we don't get a PR before the CC.
Off topic slightly...
Has anyone looked at Jeff Brommer's other companies that he is representing. A couple of them look really intriguing to me.
MDKM was .04 x .08 last January. Spiked at $1.00 and now is holding at the 40 cent range. That's a heck of a gain. I'm a little confused as to their relationship with another company named Envirofuels which seems to get mentioned in some of their press.
BLTA is another one he is representing that I put up on my screen. They moved over to the BB a few months back. I put them up on my screen and they seem to have some upward pressure as well. Their releases look like they are trying to start an independent airline with a non-stop flight from NY (JFK) to St. Petersburg, Russia. I assume there must be a lot of people that would be interested in that flight. Maybe something about to happen there as well.
I'll do a little more research to see if there is anything there. If BLYM starts to take off for real, I might show a little more interest in these two. Post if you find anything out.
In the mean time...
GO BLYM!!!
I got screwed. They filled only 60K for $42 before they moved it up. What crap.... Oh well...win some lose some. I'll leave it there for the day in case it dips back down and hopefully give it a little support.
Well, I got enough, but I'm going to buy a little more. Putting in a 1M at .0007 to see what happens...
I agree. I would be shocked if we don't get a major PR before the CC. The order you do these things is announce CC, then announce major news, then hold the CC. The major news generates a lot of questions. You want to answer as many questions as possible and generate excitement. You do this with a CC. If you announce news before announcing the CC, then you just get a lot of phone calls that could have been handled by doing a CC. By announcing the CC first, most people will wait for the CC, rather than making the phone call.
Just my opinion...
