Thanks Farrell,
It does sound to good to be true, but in reality, who knows?

Spec,
That size of find would correspond to how many Billions of Barrels? All speculative of course.

OT: Agree, the 4700 has a bigger screen with High Resolution so no matter how small the print or the chart you can see the High Lows andcloses, portrait or landscape at the touch of a button, I'll have it with me next time I'm in town. PS you can use Skype as well for IM or Audio chat via the net. Tested it with Kel. But by necessity only.
sorry overone last OT From me.

Brez
good morning Gary,
I'll be sitting on my hands for a while as well!
More upside potential than down, so now I sit and check my pulse once in a while!
Brez
Hi Gary,
Looking forward to another great week? I am,
Cheers

You bet...
but if you don't know (for sure) where the oil is and you are playing the probability game. A bigger % of real estate with the most promising seismic is the best start. Then let's cross our fingers that our best % straddle the biggest oil fields that has ever been seen!!!
Brez
Thanks Meridian, and I totally aggree!!!!!!!!
Thanks Strass for trying to help out.
Brez
I'm sorry Meridian what is "EUR"?
Brez
Spec you are correct .....
When stated as you did and another poster prior 49.7% of 300%. But when stated by itself 49% implies the overall surface. To new ERHE investors it may be interpreted as a pump, which I know Kobi did not intent.
To me the more important facts is that we have higher %s in the prefered blocks (2,4) and lower in the less preferred (3,5,6). This newbies should be aware of.
Thanks for your post, and Kobi I did not mean to insult you in any way shape or form.
Cheers
Brez
Dude,
You can't add percentages since the blocks are different sizes. I've done the calculation in an earlier post.
You must add the corresponding square km from each blocks that ERHE have rights to and then divide by the total sqkm from the 3 blocks X 100 and voila.
I believe from the top of my head that it was 16.7% of the 3 blocks.
If you realy want I can redo the math for you.
Brez
I'll take it and run!
Thanks
Brez
Hey Meridian,
Any hangovers?
Did you receive any information as to the particulars for blck 2 in terms of %s and any cash thrown in for ERHE.
As well is the 9% left over from the latest news about blck 4, is it still up in the air awaiting the fall outs with Conoil decisions(deadline 21 March)?
Thank you in advance. And thank you for your time, and information that you shared with ordinary Joe Blows like myself.
Brez
Folks, GlobeInvestors and Etrade don't show news for either Addax or ERHE yet, still a lot of people out there which have not been reached. It will take time for them to do their own DD and come up to the same conclusions that we have. The next few weeks and months will be interesting with the PPS zigzaging up and down, but always on a steady climb.
Cheers to all

I'm just getting up and the markets will be opening soon, that's the good thing about living in Western Canada!

Balance, mark, Spec, and others thank you for all your work and tedious analysis that I have been benifitting from for the last 3 years.
Meridian, thank you for shedding some light in the "end game". I don't know if in your daily life you have the opportunity to help total strangers, but here, you decided to do so. Thanks.
Gary (not a poster, but a reader) thanks for telling me about ERHE , answering my questions and providing me with your analysis.
Now I can sit back and relax and let nature take its place.
Brez
Thanks Fishdog, Panda, late reply I was night flying.

AIM in the US
The London Stock Exchange has been speaking at a series of seminars in January on the east coast of the US to promote AIM, its international market specifically designed for smaller, growing companies.
In 2005, the London Stock Exchange attracted a record 19 companies from the US to AIM, raising a combined total of $2,126 million. There are now a total of 29 companies from the US quoted on AIM.
As part of the Exchange’s drive to attract more US companies to AIM, Tracey Pierce, the Exchange’s Head of Global Business Development, participated in a number of AIM seminars in New York City and Boston. These are just the start of a number of AIM events that the Exchange will be taking part in over 2006 in the US.
In the 10 years since its launch, AIM has grown into the world’s most successful market for smaller, growing companies, with a total of $42,088 billion raised by companies on the market. AIM currently has a total of 1,399 quoted companies, of which over 220 are based outside the UK, drawn from countries as diverse as Australia, China, India and Israel.

Since you obviously enjoy Vodka, on the 14th if you feel the need to remain awake and alert for the duration of the possible festivities, I suggest Red Bull and Vodka. Don't take more than 3-4 or you'll be hanging from the chandellier screaming "somebody give me someone!!!"
Brez
PS. Test flown!
Meridian, I'll take that bet. Although I hope for summer of 06 I will say 2nd or 3rd quarter of 07 (just because!).
By the way, althoug my taste in red/white wines is French, I prefer Belgian beers.

Case Study of Calgary Petroleum Company on AIM...Maybe ADAX is next?
Brez
International AIM company profile: First Calgary Petroleum Ltd
First Calgary Petroleums is a Calgary-based oil and gas company actively engaged in exploration and development activities internationally. The Company’s main areas of operation include North Africa and the Middle East. The management’s goal is to acquire and develop high-impact projects which have world-class potential, and to build First Calgary Petroleum into an international oil and gas company.
The Company has been listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 1979, and was admitted to AIM on July 30, 2002. There were a number of reasons for the Company’s decision to join AIM, including raising funds to finance the exploration and development of sites, obtaining working capital as well as to broaden the shareholder base and increase the Company’s market exposure, and to maximise shareholder value. Joining AIM supports the TSX listing and provides First Calgary with excellent exposure to a significantly larger capital market in the UK and Europe.
Richard Anderson, CEO of First Calgary, said, “I believe that the TSX and AIM are two markets that will complement one another. We operate internationally in North Africa and the Middle East and the European investment community has a greater understanding of these regions than North American investors.”
The Company raised CAD$25 million upon admission to AIM, and since then, they have seen 30% of their liquidity go through London, demonstrating the appetite from investors for companies with a similar story to First Calgary.
Common shares of First Calgary Petroleums trade on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol FPL and on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol FCP.
Facts & Figures

Thanks, but what is your definition of time?
Adax, I believe, announced 3-4 month prior to their IPO on the TXE, plus corporate Admin time of 6 month would be my guess.
Would it be fair to say that 6-12 month would be the minimum, or potentially less if ERHE staff were currently working out those details concurently?
Do you have any insight for us, if ERHE staff are currently working on the admin portion to prepare for a major listing prior to mid-2007?
Once again thank you in advance for your time.
Brez
Good Day Meridian,
Thank you for your help with our investment.
In your experience, if the contracts are signed next week, if chevron reveals positive news next month and if ERHE partners begin drilling operation with positive results towards the end of the year, when would a company such as ERHE list on a major market (AIM, NAS, TXE )?
Thank you in advance for your time
Brez
May I suggest a place in the small medieval town of St-Emilion, their wines are 2nd to none, 1200ish chateaux. Good Proximity to Southwestern foods of France, malgre de canard, foie gras.
Yes my mouth is watering
Sorry everyone......bunny trail.

P/E ratios will kick in with earnings. I don't think we will have that for a while. Currentlly the PPS will only rise on the speculation of the potential reserves.
Good news though is that we are not too far off from being able to be listed on major exchange. Companies on the NASDAQ seem to carry higher P/E ratios, NYSE seem to have P/E=8ish while companies on Nas =20ish.
Therefore for those that are willing to wait (and I'm one) the cycle might be rewarding.

Good morning,
Does anyone know what are the off shore estimates of Kazakhstan?
Thanks
Works for me!
Brez
LFG,
If I use the numbers based on 2:1 for Blck 2 then ERHE has 22% ish, Blck 4 17% ish, Ruby stated before that if we get 10% in Blck 3 (I'll use that as well for argument sake).
I get the following PPS given modest 1BB per Blck 1,2,3 and 4 only.
Value of Unproven oil @ $3/B = $2.54
Value of Proven Oil @ $12/B = $10.14
Truth = currently some where in between
Brez
LFG,
When I posted the spreadsheet I meant to return all original % to what ERHE has rights to (0,30,20,25,15,0,0,15%), except for blck 1 where I've assigned a theoretical value of 50% overlay or 50% of ERHE blck 2 value.
The latest %'s posted by Meridian and all the talk of the 9%, took me by surprise, and quiet frankly I do not know who to believe. Therefore, I believe what will be printed in ink once the PSC is signed. But either way, you can work the PPS values by just inputing new and latest rumoured %'s for individual blcks and you will see that no matter what, the PPS is still way North of current position. Again to Echo what 0il-cowboy said earlier this does not include the up and coming momentum the stock price is sure to see and the future endeavours of the company.
