tell me , have you ever seen merck do a buyout of a stock that is .025c or any other Fortune 500 company. That is a real long shot. We should just hope that they can get this back to .10c to get me back to even.
The only one to make an announcement that about share repurchases is the CEO. Not the CFO, not Cory, not a new hire. It is the CEO's responsibility. I would be more worried if it wasn't done this way.
They commit $5M over the next year to buy shares back on open market or pre arranged transaction with current shareholders. I wonder if that is how Cory will be selling his currently registered shares. Have the company buy them back, but at what price??
Nice jump of .54c is welcome relief. I hope it lasts.
Between the 4 of them about 25K shares or 21% of todays volume.
And so did Brad. Another 10K shares for him and 2K for Gary Lewis
Rodney and Cory just bought some stock. About 10K total shares. around $8 per share.
Someone bought ( and someone sold ) 31K at 8.15 a short while ago. Wonder what this is all about. Maybe Cory beginning to unload.
Why is everyone giving this guy so much airtime on this subject. If there was an issue it would be a major headline and the stock would be $2 and Dr. Frost would not be even close to it.
Brad just bought 9K more shares on the open market. I just got the alert on schwab. As high as 8.64 .
Long Vestor, thanks for the knowledge you are passing off to us. I for one appreciate it. If I could pick your brain a bit more and I know that some of the answers I am looking for are more opinions from you than fact. I personally do not believe that any of us have much info to go on to see where our drop stock may be in say 3 months, 6 months, or 1-2 years down the road.
As you look at this situation I am coming to the conclusion that you like to own the stock right here and possibly up to the .04c range that the warrant holders own at, is that correct.
As you look down the road, this stock will be littered with sellers as people need/want to get out as close to even as possible. So with that said we probably have some major overhangs at .06c, .07c, .10c and all the way up to .28c the latest most recent high. How do you think this plays out in the next 1-6 months. Is this a trade for you or are you looking for more out of the Frost, MSLP, BZNE, Honig, etc relationships to propel this to .50c - $1.00.
Just wondering what your overall thoughts are and strategy to make some money here.
Thanks in advance and I do appreciate everything you have done.
Rich
This is how I am thinking of it. Since BZNE sold most/all of it's assets to MSLP they are basically a shell company for Dr. Frost/TEVA Pharm to take Cocrystals without all the costs associated with doing it. Now once they merge a value will have to be put on the new company. What that is who knows? If they have 5 new products coming and the backing of Frost and Teva it must be big. Take a look at the management of Cocrystals. These are big time players as well. This could be a hidden gem at .70c. We will see but probably a great 2-3 year hold. Maybe we see this like an opko. Keep finding great technologies , add them in and watch them and the stock grow.
So what are you saying, buys MSLP???
I actually cannot post the link. It came from schwab and it will not allow me to copy the link or the actual post. Came out at 8am.
The headline is Biozone Pharmaceuticals Announces Executed Letter of intent to Merge with Cocrystals Discover Inc.
Very much so. See below.
Letters to Shareholders
COCRYSTAL DISCOVERY, INC.
September 19, 2011
To the Shareholders of Cocrystal Discovery, Inc.:
It is with great pleasure that I am providing this update on the progress of Cocrystal Discovery, Inc. We have just concluded a Research Collaboration Agreement, Exclusive License Option Agreement and a Share Purchase Agreement with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NASDAQ:TEVA) whereby Teva may invest up to $45 million in Cocrystal.
Teva’s initial investment of $7.5 million will be utilized to continue our program, pursuant to the research agreement, to discover oral, once-a-day, broad-spectrum antiviral drug candidates that target the polymerase enzyme of Hepatitis C virus. Teva will have the option to invest an additional $7.5 million for further work on the HCV polymerase drug candidates and the right to an exclusive license for the results of the research under commercial terms. Teva also has the option to further invest similar amounts in Cocrystal for the development of drug candidates for two additional targets. According to the agreement, Teva could receive shares that will amount up to approximately a 23% holding in Cocrystal.
Nobel Laureate Roger Kornberg, Ph.D., Chief Scientist at Cocrystal, and also a Teva board member, commented, “We are delighted with this investment from Teva, a leading global company that develops important new medicines bringing value to patients. Through this agreement, Cocrystal is now ideally placed to accelerate the development of our novel platform, which combines high resolution X-ray crystallography with unique and advanced computational methods. It is our hope we can yield new and better drugs for the treatment and prevention of many viral diseases."
I am very pleased to begin working with Teva, one of the most successful pharmaceutical companies in the world. They bring great experience and knowledge in the marketplace to complement our drug discovery capabilities.
Sincerely,
Gary Wilcox
Chairman and CEO

Many scammers out there trying to steal away your shares. Hold tight as great things are coming.
Not sure what independent directors get paid but this seems like a lot.
Brad just bought 5K shares on the open market in the low 8's after he also just game himself a bonus along with others.
Good sign but weird.
Disaster!!
Call IR?? Call MSLP IR. They are the new owners.
Now all of a sudden you want this to go up. This is a disaster. I count on your negative emails pointing out how much of a disaster this has been. And it has. But your last email seems desperate. You disappoint me with this.
It actually seems like you are now ready to go long as you are finished with your great short trade.
Disaster.
Check the Frost relationship with the new accounting firm. They know each other.
Bajista, if you are an executive true wealth is created not by collecting a $500K yearly paycheck. It is by holding 500K shares and growing your company to a $40 stock price. That is $20M. So Brad can milk the company of 500K per year or do that and collect $40M when he sells his shares. What would you do? I would work my ass off to get there. He is on our side and I am sure some of the others around him are helping as well. Arnold stands to make $25M, Frost probably the same.
This will happen. When, maybe 2-3 years but it will happen. I will take my share when the time is right.
No legitimate arguments. How about the following:
Frost
Arnold
Fitmiss
Costco
Wallgreens
Biozone acquisition(qsomes technology,manufacturing)for only $6M.
Line of Credit with Private Equity
Uplifting
SEC investigation conclusion
Severely undervalued.
50% growth year over year.
ONLY 10.4M shares outstanding.
You got lucky in bzne because you happened to be in front of your computer and took advantage of a great opportunity that the market has given. So did I but not 75k worth. Much lower than that. Like I have said before, I am not a trader (most of the time ) but like to look at least 6 months to 2 years out. I can take the 10%-30% hits with these small caps but when not in front of the computer all the time, you miss a lot on the buys and the sells. That is why I look longer term. So yes I do think MSLP will be much higher in the future and yes because Frost is involved. Yes I do think OPK will be much higher as well. BZNE, I have good faith that good things are coming with that. DROP is a crap shoot but I would not rule out .15 - .20c in 6 months or become part of MSLP. I personally think that would be the best for DROP. Let MSLP market it with their distribution network and marketing abilities.
So my question to you with all your business skills and prowess, Why are you here? You should run for the hills based on your evaluation. Are you here to help the unfortunate or are you short. I believe you already said that you were not short. So with all your skills in investing, why not just move along?
So name me one company that has not continued to add new shares to the float while in growth mode. Everyone from Apple to Tesla to DDD to Yahoo to AMZN. They all have and will continue to. It is called growing. Management incentives, buying companies, etc. It is a way of life in business. Keep shorting and trying to create havoc on the board.
Well these answers to an analyst question certainly seems like the company caring about shareholder value. But I guess it does not count in your eyes. We will have specific and measurable targets coming out mid January. If we hit them I would assume that the price goes up or it should.
Richard Estalella - Chief Operating Officer
Well, I think it starts us, with our ability to again give you guidance next year on what we're going to do, beyond just topline and then executing to that standard. And you're exactly right, you hit it on the head, we're extremely undervalued. We all know it. It's not indicative of what we're making happen at the marketplace, but what we're putting into this business from a sweat equity standpoint. So our goal is to make sure that in 2014,we have a much clearer picture of where we're heading and hopefully you can all help us to have everybody else recognize that.
Gary Davis - Chief Financial Officer
The only thing I would add to what Richard said is we just got to continue to demonstrate that we can now deliver quality growth which will drive both the topline and the bottomline and that will get the story out real quick.
So you think the bzne story is over? Far from it. Stay tuned.
So you think the bzne story is over? Far from it. Stay tuned.
I know I like to hire/hang around people that are smarter than me. Thus I will hang my hat on the likes of Dr. Frost with OPK and MSLP. I have all the confidence in the world that 1-2 years from now both companies will be much higher. 100%-200% higher. Short noise means nothing. BTW, I do have a bit of a cushion on both stocks, approx. $40K on OPK and $30K on MSLP. That is booked profit this year. Now I am down on my second go round with MSLP (down $10K ) and about even on OPK but timing is everything. I bought well the first time. The second time on opk I bought well but did not exit when I had a great profit again. I suspect that you and a few of the others who keep bringing up how mslp had a billion shares outstanding and keep talking like it is a .01c stock with nothing going for it had bought at the wrong time and are sitting on huge loses. That is too bad and I do feel sorry for you. But to keep looking at the negative means either you are short or just a negative person. I like to look at the positive side. I see the negatives, take them into account as I invest. But I see this company as a huge winner 3 months, 6 months, 12 months and 24 months from now. Why would they hype up the Jan conf call where they will be sharing the 2014 plan complete with financials. Do you think this will be bad? I don't. See you at much higher levels.
Mr. elephant. Do not give the shorts tools here the benefit of a response. We all know who they are. There are about 3-5 of them that continue to tout how much they own but just keep bashing the company. How many companies have the growth rate of mslp? Very few. The Seeking Alpha article is dead on and the rev #s are what will make this a $50 stock. If we can build this into a $250M company then sell it off for 3x sales you get to $750M market cap company. What is you stock price then.
Sorry for asking, but how did you quantify " flying off the shelf "? Just wondering what that means compared to MP. Did you ask someone to check the stock/reorders? Compared to MP stock/reorders? Did you just do a visual while you were there and noticed several buyers of the competitors? Just wondering. Not bashing as I am very long.
I think their inventory was $9M. What does that translate into from a product sales ( revenue ) perspective? Any guesses?
Keep in mind one important fact just revealed on the mslp conf call today. MSLP sold off the shares that it owns in bzne and made a nice profit on it. They also hold about 5M warrants that they could have exercised and sold in the .55-.60 range. Their exercise price is .40c. That would have been a quick $750K profit if they did that. They are holding those shares for the long term. They know something that we don't and they ( mslp and bzne ) are both being controlled by Dr. Frost. I'm buying more on the dips.
Well I will believe the conf call over your share count. He was very clear on the numbers. 10.4 fully diluted.
8.865 + 1.2 = 10.065. He stated it would be 10.4 fully diluted. That means there is approx. 400K for mgt, and others.
