SunSi Energies
Incorporated in Nevada, SunSi Energies Inc. is quickly positioning itself to take advantage of one of the fastest growing trends and markets in the world today – the solar market. More specifically, SunSi is entering the solar market in China by acquiring the assets of a well established chemical facility producing Trichlorosilane (TCS).
Relatively unknown, but essential to the solar industry, Trichlorosilane (TCS) is the main feedstock of the solar industry, used in the production of polysilicon. It is believed that SunSi becomes the first and only "pure play" public company in the world honed on the production of Trichlorosilane.

SunSi To Purchase TCS Production Company
Friday 19 June 2009
SunSi Energies Inc. has executed a letter of intent to purchase 90% of a joint-venture Chinese company specifically formed to own the assets, expertise and technology of an existing trichlorosilane (TCS) production facility in Zibo, China, as well as its affiliated trucking and transportation company, which delivers TCS from the production facility to existing clients within China.
The acquired company will be engaged in the production of TCS, a chemical that is primarily used in the production of polysilicon, with a current production capacity of 25,000 metric tons of TCS per year.
TCS is considered to be the first product in the solar PV value chain before polysilicon and is also the principal source of ultrapure silicon in the semiconductor industry, says SunSi Energies.
This acquisition provides SunSi with the opportunity to become the first and only U.S. publicly traded company to mainly focus its operations on the production of TCS, the company adds.

There CANNOT be two companies with the same name, and you MUST be registered in the state where you do business. If there is already a Company with the same name that's where the "fictitious name" statute comes in:
http://www.floridatrend.com/small_biz_article.asp?aID=46824
A Fictitious Name Registration is required of individuals who do business under any name other than either their legal personal name or a properly registered corporate name, partnership, trademark, service mark or limited liability company. The purpose of Chapter 865.09, Florida Statutes, known as the Fictitious Name Act, is to insure a public record of the identity of a fictitious name owner.
Registration under this act does not reserve or protect a fictitious name against use by another party, nor does it provide rights to the use of a trade name, trademark, service mark or corporate name. The Division does not screen names submitted for registration against any other recorded information. Applicants may contact the Division or check the Division’s website to see if the name is already in use. You may also check your local telephone directory. The applicant is responsible for avoiding and defending against name infringement.

Barry Edwards then presented the Catawba County regional Eco-Complex and Resource Recovery Facility Project: Preliminary Engineering and Project Feasibility Study for Bio-Energy Center, “Catawba County Bio-Energy Center Initial Assessment”. Wayne Marshall, President, Petra Engineering was also present.
During the budget process for fiscal year 2005/06, the Board was introduced to the Regional Eco-Complex and Resource Recovery Facility (Blackburn Landfill) Project. The purpose is to promote economic development and create new jobs in the green energy and business, agricultural, and environmental sectors. The Eco-Complex design will convert waste streams into commodities, provide conduit for moving science from the lab to the real world, and will promote Western North Carolina as a center for green energy, agricultural, and environmental innovation and enterprises. The County and its partnering municipalities can take advantage of the synergies with ongoing and planned activities within the Complex. These synergies and low cost “green” energy will help all waste management fees remain stable. With the approval of the budget for this fiscal year, a combination of water and sewer and solid waste funds were appropriated for the conceptual and preliminary Eco-Complex development. Providing for the complex will continue to be a legislative priority for the County.
Through Private-Public partnerships and the strengths of multiple institutions, the Eco-Complex presents an array of business development and research opportunities such as solid waste management, wastewater treatment and sludge management, water resource management, hydrogen cell production, carbon dioxide production and management, environmental remediation and restoration, pollution prevention and industrial ecology, air quality, agricultural, biological, aquaculture, bio-regenerative life support, environmental technologies, and business development. The Eco-Complex can accommodate research involving all aspects of biologically derived energy recovery and uses, as well as research of fuel cell, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and ethanol for environmental, agricultural, and energy use.
Within the Eco-Complex design, the County proposes to provide energy (steam and/or electrical power) to multiple users at the County’s Eco-Complex by contracting with a private service provider (Service Agreement Management Contractor) through a long-term Service Agreement (SA) as outlined in the Board approved Letter of Intent (LOI) dated February 6, 2006 between Catawba County and Petra Engineering PLLC. Fusion On Tap
Plasma physicist Eric Lerner has a dream: a form of nuclear energy so clean it generates no radioactive waste, so safe it can be located in the heart of a city, and so inexpensive it provides virtually unlimited power for the dirt-cheap price of $60 per kilowatt—far below the $1,000-per-kilowatt cost of electricity from natural gas.
It may sound too good to be true, but the technology, called focus fusion, is based on real physics experiments. Focus fusion is initiated when a pulse of electricity is discharged through a hydrogen-boron gas across two nesting cylindrical electrodes, transforming the gas into a thin sheath of hot, electrically conducting plasma. This sheath travels to the end of the inner electrode, where the magnetic fields produced by the currents pinch and twist the plasma into a tiny, dense ball. As the magnetic fields start to decay, they cause a beam of electrons to flow in one direction and a beam of positive ions (atoms that have lost electrons) to flow in the opposite direction. The electron beam heats the plasma ball, igniting fusion reactions between the hydrogen and boron; these reactions pump more heat and charged particles into the plasma. The energy in the ion beam can be directly converted to electricity—no need for conventional turbines and generators. Part of this electricity powers the next pulse, and the rest is net output.
A focus fusion reactor could be built for just $300,000, says Lerner, president of Lawrenceville Plasma Physics in New Jersey. But huge technical hurdles remain. These include increasing the density of the plasma so the fusion reaction will be more intense. (Conventional fusion experiments do not come close to the temperatures and densities needed for efficient hydrogen-boron fusion.) Still, the payoff could be huge: While mainstream fusion research programs are still decades from fruition, Lerner claims he requires just $750,000 in funding and two years of work to prove his process generates more energy than it consumes. “The next experiment is aimed at achieving higher density, higher magnetic field, and higher efficiency,” he says. “We believe it will succeed.”

Jatropha-based fuels will begin having a significant impact on the market in 2014. The third big wave will be algae-based biodiesel, which will achieve commercial availability in 2012 and will have a deeper effect on the market beginning in 2016.
