I thought it was the large increase in the short position for Celgene. A telling sign?
Please stay behind so we can enjoy the ride of our lives.
WDIK but if a bear pennant was breaking down it would be bullish but if a bull pennant was breaking down it would be bearish. Right?
Let's see the P results first before making any judgement calls on Prurisol's treatment abilities. In any case a successful trial will mean bringing investment dollars to CTIX a certainty whatever a topical treatment might do or not do.
Say you are right does it change the success of our other trials? I for one didn't invest here for Prurisol did you? Infact I doubt anybody on here originally invested for one drug to be a success unless it was Kevetrin,.
When Leo purchased PolyMedix assets it meant re-shuffling the deck. Prurisol was basically put on hold while the very exciting Brilacidin Phase 2 was successfully trialed and completed. Starting a Phase 3 B-ABSSSI is the result and as frustrating as it is we have to wait for the FDA and amendments to the protocol for the SPA before we start the trial. So everything is still absolutely fine. It's absolutely a blockbuster worth waiting for.
Meanwhile Kevetrin as announced will expand out to future ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer trials. We still are waiting for the top line data from phase 1 and a peer reviewed article to be published. Everyone of our trials has been successful and opened the door to the next level.
Being negative on Prurisol really is meaningless as all of the above is worth far more than Prurisol on it's own, but if it is successful too then I suggest you read the latest SA article to see what it means.
It's a typical SA article written by someone long the stock. Definitely might wake a few up but I cannot agree that the previous run up in the stock was fueled by Kevetrin. Personally I thought Brilacidin was responsible and am waiting for it to put it's B (BUY) stamp back on CTIX.
Not that P won't help.
Much appreciate your input and recognize your good faith comments along with BK and other veterans of this board.
What I learned from today's PR was everything is progressing. And as expected the request for changes to the protocol from the FDA re B-ABSSSI p3 and the SPA submission has been received and a meeting with the FDA to discuss these changes will be arranged. The Prurisol news keeps us aware that everything is being done to expedite a data release soon.
I am long the stock, believe in the science and don't disparage the company or management.
I've never heard of a biotech that advances its trials to approvals at the speed you want to go at. CTIX has been very fair in it's distribution of updates and as time passes we will reach those critical stages and what they mean to CTIX.
We are nearly there for P.
Yes and, of course, successful Prurisol results would underpin the stock the most and then we go can really go for it and move us to levels dreams are made of. Go CTIX!
CTIX is like the boil on BKk's bum it's about to explode.
Seems strange that you don't think the company would PR a response from the FDA regarding the submission of a SPA. Everybody on this board would disagree with that as it would be of material importance.
Luckily the unique mechanism of action will bring inquiring minds and thereby increasing the potential interest and likely publicity surrounding a novel antibiotic like Brilacidin. I think this is a far more truthful and likely scenario.
I agree that in your final comments it must very frustrating waiting for money for K Ovarian cancer trial. For doctors for patients it's tough. Let's hope for good news to come there.
Brilacidin P3 is a must start soon as expectations for this novel antibiotic are high and it will lead CTIX on a long upward path.
It will go to Nasdaq and we won't be awakened by people searching for the light (or praise).
A pop followed by sustained gains is exactly what I expect and hope for. Continued good progress will get CTIX the backing it needs and will change the company for ever.
Yes I agree we don't know. Concrete good results with value will take us up for sure, right now it's just backing and filling until somebody makes a move.
At the risk of not knowing all the Aspire details would it not help to load them with a few "cheapies" or do they have to offload immediately. Kind of "you pat my back and I'll pat yours."
What comes first the FDA approvals or the pipeline?
The other smelly little theory is never let people think a pink sheet stock could ever be worth anything. Constantly attack it because it is pink sheet and no CEO ever tells the truth on the pinks and nobody in there right mind goes near that market.
Tell everyone it's the company that spreads worthless b/s regarding shorting it's shares and generally give the impression that nothing good could ever come from the company simply because you can't trust a pink sheet stock.
This is what certain people would have you believe but luckily CTIX has a fantastic scientist who brought his science to a very savvy businessman and together they have built a pipeline that any bio would envy and are about to mine it's worth by announcing the success of their science.
CTIX goes much much higher and everything else is b/s.
Momentum is returning and think you will be wrong on that one.
I look at Sox's post #144297 and then look at your post and wonder why you can't see the great work Leo has done for us shareholders. It's a waiting game and the bulls are about to pounce. Don't miss it.
Looks to have been genuine.
Be interesting to see if that was a phantom seller if we get back to $1.73 offered.
Thank you Hound for keeping us on topic.
Excellent post which hopefully brings a change to this board and the topic of conversation can now return to CTIX's incredible science and the potential for enormous returns.
It either trades up or we could get a $4+ gap up on P news.
I got it too and laughed when I read they consider the Mako report as "professional-grade research". More like garbage grade.
The trick is to turn the fear into a fear of missing out as this stock could start a run up at anytime.
Just because they don't say "I am pleased to announce today the FDA approved....." doesn't make them fluffy they all that's available right now.
Every piece of news regarding CTIX and it's SCIENCE has been positive.
Get on with it and get over it.
Hardly TB.
(However,I expect am17 to endorse his comment shortly)
When a private company goes public it can bring all manners of wealth to insiders and I maintain my thought that Dr J couldn't give up such an opportunity. Anyway it's done and CTIX has plenty on it's plate and we can add a new CMO as part of it. "A lot of good things are happening, the future is bright" as quoted by Leo yesterday.
Firstly, Dr Alexander had to resign due to ill health and we are lucky that he has made himself available for consultant work. Secondly, like you I am disappointed in Dr Jorgensen's departure but possibly going to a private company with great potential is too difficult an opportunity give up.
This last year has seen great progress and I expect Leo will have no difficulty in finding a new CMO.
You are only here to trade with no longer term ambitions and no doubt will miss this bus too.
I am an expert at sticking to my guns and there has not been one thing since I first invested that make me think that CTIX won't succeed.
With any biotech, though, there is great risk for it is an all or nothing investment. Part of that risk is non performance by the officers of the company but given the incredible pipeline CTIX owns and continues to build on I don't see any problems there. Funding is available and with the right results so is/are partnerships.
FDA approval(s) is all that matters and I trust Leo to receive expert clinical advice to achieve these goals.
I have just spent the last twenty minutes reading this board. The argument today is yet again brought about by a non holder which begs me to think it is personal.
Thanks to Biodoc, BigKahuna,sox040713 and other posters it is good to hear the counter arguments and I thank you again.
As the trials continue to mount up CTIX is becoming more and more interesting. The sp might not agree for the moment but it will and when it does it will speak far louder than any detractor.
