So when you say more details to follow do you mean you have more for us or Steve does?
Nice Alamo, thanks.
Alright guys I'm off to see Avatar, I look forward to hearing about your convo with Steve Alamo, (if you can get hold of him).
Have a good weekend all.
Right that's why I think the share structure needs to change when we uplist to otcbb. It would also make it more diffcult for the mm's to manipulate.
Maybe a buyback for the otc and a 5-1 forward split if we uplist to nasdaq.
My bad, I mean a forward split.
I think a buyback would be best too, either way I think the share structure should chnge eventully and I am hoping it won't be a r/s but I don't know alot about either.
The wash sale rule
The tax law contains rules designed to prevent taxpayers from creating artificial capital losses. One rule you should be familiar with is the wash sale rule. This rule says you can't claim a loss from sale of a security (such as stock) if you buy the identical security as a replacement within the period beginning 30 days before the sale and ending 30 days after the sale. So if you sell XYZ for a loss on December 30 and buy the same stock on January 5 of the next year, you won't get a loss deduction for the sale on December 30. You need to wait at least 31 days to repurchase the stock if you want to claim the loss. Click here for details on this rule.
Does anyone have any speculation as to weather a f/s or buyback is more likely when we start to uplist?
Right but you have to sell for at least 30 days I believe before you buy back in.
Keep in mind the time change and what his schedual will be like. maybe try and discern the nature of the (if any) news, new contrct, new hires.....
Alamo are you going to call Steve today?
What do you mean you found it on yahoo? Found what exactly? Provide some more info or everyone will assume you just made it up and will treat you likewise.
Are you saying there will be news tomorrow?
Why are you so surprised? MM's OWN penny stocks with this many shares. Literally, they do whatever they want with them.
They will let them run if there is big news, but if there is a huge buildup and then *no news at all*, it serves them best to sell, run it back down and start buying again.
Hopefully Steve knows this if he is going to try and help the pps.
Alamo I think you should let him know that we own a fourth of the company so we can get more updates and better information.
Email from Steve, (recieved last week)
Hello! ,
Robert,
It is always good to hear from an investor.
As I had explained in the interview there are three cornerstones of the card business as we are planning to implement it, a sponsor bank, a processor and a program manager. We effectively are the program Manager, we have announced that we have an agreement with the Bank as a sponsor but not yet released the name of the bank, the third cornerstone is the processor.
Ecommlink is a significant player in the stored value card business with some very special capabilities that link in with our own technology - this is indeed a huge step forward. In order for them to operate they need a BIN from the sponsor bank.
While we are very close to crossing the t's and dotting the i's in our strategy all steps and procedures are not yet complete - as soon as they are we will announce them.
Thank you for your Investment and know that I and my team are working very hard to execute the plan and create more vaue for the business.
Steve Prior
CEO One World Ventures
But I think we should still direct things to Alamo so we can keep at least one reliable contact with Steve.
So, obviously you just made this up?
Haha, I have to appreciate your enthusiasm this late at night. Go OWVI.
Exactly, they must have the processor, it's not like the processor is selective, you might as well release a pr about how they are going to ship the cards.
Everything was perfect, big volume followed by a beautiful slow rise in the pps just begging for news to bring it over .004.
And Steve let us down. The first pr was one of the stupidest I have seen in the pennys in a long time given the situation.
If I were you Alamo I would be seeking some answers from Steve. He promised a monster week and I still don't believe that we have the news he was talking about.
I am still holding and believe in the company but we arent doing ourselves any favors by pretending this wasnt a big misstep for the company, if we want Steve to care about the pps we need to let him know how we feel.
Alamo, if I were you I would be emailing Steve and asking him how this news could possibly be construed as big or important so you could share it with the shareholders.
This could not possibly be the new developements he was talking about.
The processor was not big news, that is pathetic. OWVI pays them for their services, any company could do that.
A promo company, however, does sound like a good idea, as well as updating the webpage and creating investor relations.
It's not wise to hold off on the bank announcement unless you want to see the resistance at .0025 fall, the mm's will continue to eat this alive. We need exsposure and that will be what gets OWVI on the map.
This will eventually go back to .0025. The ceo obviously doesn't care about the short term pps, which is good, I'd rather him worry about the company. But it sucks for us longs who went all in when he promised us big news and now have to sit here and calculate how many more shares we could have had if we waited.
Hopefully we will get to hear about the new developements he was so happy about tomorrow.
Yeah don't panic sell guys, the mm's are just shaking the tree, when they are done they will take it on a ride with the news.
I wonder who Ron Lindsay is then.
Email from ecommlink:
Good Morning:
I am pleased to confirm that we are working with One World Ventures as described in the press release. While I am sure Ron Lindsay can provide more details, I wanted to reach out personally.

Ask which bank just for fun, you never know.
Thanks, I emailed but was too lazy to call. This is actually pretty decent news.
I've read that rumor a number of different places, hopefully we will know soon.
Thanks man.
Great post, you are right of course Alamo. I am a long term investor believe it or not, I just happened to go all in with the hopes of selling half at double for free shares and was cranky about it all day, usually I am more composed so thanks for keeping things in perspective.
Looking forward to the rest of the week and wishing I had more funds to buy lower if need be.
Yeah we deserve a good close after the silly ones last week.
The first time it was released it was great news, I believe in the company and I'm going to hold half of my shares long, I'm just frustrated today....
I still think we close at .0035 or .0034
How was this great news? We already knew about the contract, it was a re-release of old news on a day when most were expected big news...?
How big was that sell at .0033?
What is your theroy as to why release it before?
Ok ok your right. With the news and the way this is trading I think it supports your hedge fund theroy.
With the promise of big news this release is confusing and a little scary, Alamo if you talk to Steve please let us know.
