Can someone sticky the HC statement url?
http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=937619&tp=1
Its pretty bad when Health Canada has to
make a public page stating Cen Bio mischaracterized the meaning of the Department’s recent action in their Financial Statements.
That's the license issues saying you're done for lying.
http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=937619&tp=1
I don't think any LP has been in so much HC dudu even the ones busted moving 2200LB of MMAR weed in Kelowna last year.
RE: To what actions does HC refer. My rememberance
Umm they made up a fake employee
Until now, the company has not owned up to the identity of Isak Weber. However, when the Globe asked the company’s CEO, Bill Chaaban, on Tuesday if Mr. Weber was real, Mr. Chaaban sent an e-mailed response saying, “Isak Weber is a nom-de-plume” for an employee. He compared the situation to when CEOs have speeches written by others. “There are also many corporations that adopt an identity,” Mr. Chaaban said, listing off “Ronald McDonald,” “Mr. Clean” and “Mr. Goodwrench“ as examples.
But the company had in fact created the identity of Mr. Weber. A Toronto public relations firm that cut ties with CEN Biotech late last week said it learned about questionable conduct by the company – including an admission that CEN Biotech executives were lying about the existence of Isak Weber – and has refused to work with them.
RE: Bill most likely neglected to grease the right
Well two other licenses were given out a day ago. The one company already has one and one is new. The new one you never heard of like CEN pump and dumping actions. Hmmm obviously they had their shiat together.
PathwayGroup severs ties with CEN
http://blackburnnews.com/chatham/chatham-news/2015/02/20/cen-biotech-fights-for-license/
Lets see what happens with the RCMP investigation.
"We thrive with clients who are open and transparent with us,” said Jeff Bangs, partner at Toronto-based Pathway Group, which specializes in government relations and public affairs. “But as professionals we do not condone fabricating an employee for the sole purpose of polishing a client's reputation when they're under scrutiny."
Source? Then can go ahead most in the community know what CEN is about and even if they got a license no one in Canada would buy from them. Its simple as that.
re: Solar panels
They would be using 1000's of watts for power to grow. They would need a bank of batteries the size of the building that gets recharged by a monster solar panels to even had a tiny portion to the lights be powered by solar panels.
Why do you think HC only just did it. That's to make sure CEN had no time to get a response ready before the court dates. The constitutional challenge lawyers can't bring it up if the company had no license. Part of the court cast is the failure of the MMPR system to supply Canadian with proper medicine and that also means affordable meds not $6000O per lb for weed.
If I was to invest I'd be looking into investing after the March court case in Victoria regarding the Cannabis Extracts court case. If this is won then oil, cookies, extracts etc.. made from cannabis will be a legal source of the medicine vs having HC only approve smoking cannabis.
If the spill over to the LP's now they have 10 different products they can make from the Cannabis and even from failed crops.
Actually not true as you can grow any plant with LED arrays BUT LED can't not substitute HID lighting as the primary light source.
I've grown cannabis under LED's and I've grown Basil under LED. LED lights can actually veg cannabis rally nicely (18 hours of light on 6 hours of lights off) and you get really tight node growth problem is all that goes out the window when the plant is growing the flowers and doesn't have enough light energy to really build the bud's and resin.
Basil was a bit different I wish I still had photos of the set up but I had basil leaves the size of a big hand grown under LED arrays as the primary light source. Having said that the area was very small abut 2x2' per very hydroponics system. I was using the GH Rainforest http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/systems/rainforest_series/
There's also more to Cannabis than just light. Different strains require different nutrients requirements and different environmental set ups. There is a medium level but for proper production you'd have to have different zones for say sativa s and indicas and hybrids.
RE: hey have this new technology call LED, uses
Buahahahahha you obviously have no clue how much light power is required to grow a quality cannabis crop indoors.
You do realize that LED's don't magically get powered by fairy dust, right? What do you think powers an LED array oh yah a power supply.
Have you seen weed grown under LED's? Well if you get a cotton ball and squeeze it that's what it looks like.
LED will work for cut flowers under a glass roof or leafy vegetables to extend the light period. Just try to grow cannabis with it LOL.
Its pretty scary how many of you have no clue what is going on wthe the MMPR program, the laws suits and light requirements for cannabis and yet you're blindly buy up penny stocks for the long. Wow!
RE: Correction: Full 20 days to make sure CEN
With the Feb 23 court case and the controversy and RCMP investigation of CEN HC ain't gonna touch that with a 20 day pole.
They already gave the licenses to two other companies.
The court case is expected to last till June+ thats way more than 20 days lol
If CEN was to get a license the lawyers on the Feb 23 court case would have a field day with CEN and HC incompetence letting in un ethical companies into the MMPR.
HC gave them 20 days so to kill then before the court cast.
Health Canada 881 applications have been refused.

Please tell us how they plant on fitting in 100K 1000W lights into a 24K square foot area when they need 400K square feet minimum
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=111014965
RE: Is that a fact
Regarding what?
Yes Feb 23 is the first court case to settle whether people are allowed to grow again. It can go three ways. The gov wins and all licenses are void, the plaintiff on the case will win and judge allows those with current licenses to grow (but if some are cut off then that opens up another can of charter of rights worms), the plaintiffs win but only those represented in the case are allowed to grow. This would now allow other to get lawyers and get their licenses reinstated but going to court.
Second court case is to challenge the 150gram max weight a person can posses at any time. It could go three ways like the above case.
Third case is for extracted thc usage. As of now HC only considers smoking cannabis as the legal ingestion way. Oils, cookies, edibles and etc are all illegal.
If you have any stock in current LP's this is the case to watch as if the government losses all extracts will be legal to consume if you are licensed. If HC allowed LP to use canabenoid extracts this could be a big boom for the industry, actually bigger then the weed itself.
As for the bust yes it was real. I'm thinking of doing a FOIA request to see what happened after wards.
Also one thing to remember in Canada Charter Of Rights lawsuits usually are won by the people and the judges still like to upload the Charter Of Rights. Its a strange mix of a gov that pushes its boundries on removing those rights and getting slapped all the time by the courts.
RE: Actually that was discussed at great length, back
I might not matter for flipping penny stocks but for those hoping this will get them rich in the long haven't really done any homework on what it takes to grow weed.
I bet most also didn't know that any LP that gets a license first has to grow one crop that will pass testing (this is new regulation), if they can't they can't sell to the public. Also each crop has to be tested so there a huge chance that when you crop and you process the product you might not be able to sell it and you'll have it irradiate it. Well no one wants irradiated weed.
Also there's only 12K or so customers in the system. That's the stats from HC BUT they didn't say if these are unique users or they count each users as separate use then they switch LP's since you have to get a new prescription and start the process once again.
Also you're going against a cultural thing and an anti establishment thing. The more big corporation you look like the less people will want to buy from you. That's just the reality of it. Also no one seems to take into account that weed has now become the most expensive medicine there is to the point where most people unless a LP has compassionate pricing and you can prove you're poverty level can't afford to buy it.
Scare tactic like pesticides, gangs, being raped while buying weed does not work as that's never been a problem 99% of the times. You'll get killed 100 in a car crash before you'd get killed buying weed.
Also I bet most don't even know the hurdles you have to go though to get a prescription singed.
Is there money to be made, sure once you find a company that knows the market and they understand the people that they are selling to. If you don't under stand the culture and the price requirements vs the black market you're just another company out to that's seen as invading a cultural space and trying to cash in on it.
Reality Check. Whats really funny.
No one took the time to realize there's no way in the world to grow 1.3Mil lb of weed in that facility.
Say they get 2LB per 1x1000W light and it takes 2 months for each crop if they do a SOG (sea of green) style grow. To get 1.3mil lb per year they would require to have 108333 1000W HID lights to grow 1.3 mil LB per year. Thats 12lb per light per year/1300000 lb.
Each light would cover aprox 4x4-5x5 square feet That would require min 433333 square foot building LOL. That would also require 108333000 Watts of power to run all those lights!!!
I bet some of you had no clue on how to grow weed or what is required.
HC had to get rid of CEN
Feb 23 is date for the first court case regarding people being allowed to grow their own once again. HC knows that most of the LP's either have shitty product, not enough or over priced (seriously its 2x5 the black market price) which is exactly what the lawyers want.
They already have a black eye from certain LP not being able to grow for the public and the big 2200lB bust in Kelown BC http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/04/04/canadas-first-publicly-traded-marijuana-company-has-rough-first-day-when-pot-shipment-seized-by-rcmp/
This incident was swept under the rug pretty fast.
Having CEN still in the que would have been bad for business and with the G&M articles and info on Bill they had to get rid of CEN.
RE: If this were Legit, the company would be
Exactly the license is the company and in the release they state they are happy they were contacted by HC and hope top start to work with HC LOL Lots of negative words there.
Anyone else whose company depended on the license and was in it for the license would be all over the media either scolding them or letting the investors know they have a solution and it will be met within 20 days.
What do the do. They release a distraction of becoming a power house in the power drinks market WTF LMFAO. Oh hey look here people, whooosh!!!!!!!1
RE:Lol who buys with financials? Crazy! Oh another
Watch with love and E2n will be by to use your quote as proof that CEN license is coming this week LOL
RE: Water, sewer, electric, that's a city issue, all
What are you talking about, its up to CEN to insatll those things and get a permits for it. They have failed so far and the city says where are the appropriate lines for your operation? CEN We reuse all water. Well catch rain water to produce 1.5 million lb of cannabis per year. Our employees will hold in their pee and wash their hands with rain water.
Today release says nothing about them already talking to HC about it.
CEN Biotech Inc. looks forward to working with Health Canada and their officials to their complete satisfaction. The company hopes it can move forward to obtaining a license.
RE: They also don't have a water source or sewage...
No no their workers hold it in till they get home and who need water for plants. Or better yet the workers urine get recycled and used a nitrogen for the plants LOL
RE: Can you show us where in the aricle
So you have no proof, you're making up stories and you have no proof of anything. We do however have a company that in their own statement released today said they receive a letter from HC which is a Intent To Reject letter.
So what was not the truth in the new articles?
Oh now you just changed the 2014 date to 2015.
RE: 2011 !!! Again in 2014 ??
Umm what are you talking about? You posted an article from 2011 showing its proof HC was conned and CEN didn't get a rejection letter.
Can you show us where in the aricle it mentions HC, CEN, and the news papers?
RE: YES !! Licence denied by Peter Anjos LOL
Yup in 2011 which you forget to mention in your fabricated photoshop. The real link http://www.tauntongazette.com/article/20110922/News/309229204
Oh and can you show us in the article where its says Health Canada, CEN, Globe and Mail, Windowsstar or CBC?
OHOHOHO I fund it CI Medical Printing See is says Medical so its must be true GnM and two other national newspapers were dupped.
RE: License 101: A request for more info does
Obviously they have to reply to it but if they did they would have stated that in the last release from the way it reads they "Plan To" and "Hope" not good words to use.
They can give out all the info they want but if they can't fix what HC wants then rejected! I'd like to see them explain the RCMP investigation. If the investigation takes 6-12 months lol What if the RCMP says there's wrong doing to HC bam Rejected.
It is not clear why the company feels it needs a “nom-de-plume” for its employees, nor why the mascot explanation was given. In the case of McDonald’s Corp., for example, the hamburger chain doesn’t use Ronald McDonald to speak on behalf of the CEO on important matters involving press releases issued to the stock market.
RE: Don't need to appeal, just provide needed info. Read below:
Except if they can't fix the issues. You can provide all the info but if you can't fix what is broken which is the water supply, power upgrade and zoning and provided you can satisfy the RCMP that those made up people were real and you didn’t try to defraud the Canadian public you might be in. LOL
Yes you appeal and if you don't have a solution you get rejected. So they'd better be digging those sewer pipes and upgrading the hydro poles and the zoning LOL
RE:No letter of intent to reject fitx
Umm that's what a Intent To Reject letter is. If you don't fix what they want fixed you get rejected in 20 days. Ask the 400+ other companies that got it and got rejected lol
As for if this was a leak it has nothing to do with the application process and the news papers printed the truth.
If you read how the application process works HC sends you an Intent To Reject Letter to fix what is broken. If you don't have a solution in 20 days to fix it you get rejected. If they find other things after wards you get another letter and so on.
From the horses mouth and they are "pleased" with the rejection LOL
is pleased to announce it has been asked to provide additional information to Health Canada in support of its application to operate under the federal government's Medical Marijuana Purposes Regulations (MMPR).
CEN Biotech Inc. looks forward to working with Health Canada and their officials to their complete satisfaction. The company hopes it can move forward to obtaining a license. This will help provide a much needed therapeutic drug, as mandated by the Supreme Court of Canada.
RE:Anyone want a reference of how canada will
Vancouver and takes you 5 min to get a prescription !!!
RE: Oh, that's so sweet, guess we suppose to
FITX/CENBio in on the verge of becoming the leader in mj production,
Ummm it confirms they got an Intent to Reject Application letter as the new papers stated.
They use the word
Hope
The company hopes LOL
it can move forward to obtaining a license.
LOL lots of spin words in that article
a nutritional supplement company focusing on active lifestyles
CEN Biotech Inc. looks forward to working with Health Canada
pleased to announce it has been asked to provide additional information to Health Canada in support of its application to operate under the federal government's Medical Marijuana Purposes Regulations
If the letter is false/fake
Than how come NO ONE from the company is tearing up the waves to discredit what is being reported. After all this license is the whole company with out it you might as well cut laws for locals.
So what does CEN do, they quickly release some energy drink info to keep people distracted.
Who the hell even cares about energy drink market with 100's of already established brands fighting it out and only the top few have capitol to promote sports.
The LICENSE is EVERYTHING and no one is disputing the news releases.
RE: That's probably why FITX created CEN Biotech in
Did you hit your head? The reason they go the letter is because all the BS that CEN was feeding people and because of the up coming court cases. HC can't afford to look like they let swindlers into the MMPR as that looks better for John Conroy's case
You do know about the court cases coming up to challenge the MMPR, don't you? Oh did I mention these are Canadian Charter of Rights cases where for the most part the people win.
RE:You might be on to something here, Worlds
Umm what profits? Did you even investigate how many current customers there are in the MMPR/ 12K or so LOL that between 20+ companies. Also HC never said if those 12K are unique signups or one client multiple signups per LP since you have to get a new prescription and cancel your current LP to be able to buy from a new LP. Also with the prices they are trying to sell at people will only buy 10-20grams at a time. LOL YAH PROFITS!!!!!
So tell me where are the owners of this company rebutting the fake news of the Intent To Reject. I mean that is a make or break license for any would be MMPR company. If this news was faked they would be on it like hyenas trying to defend their company. So what do they do, they release some "Hey look over this direction" news about energy drink to distract people from the real HC letter.
Especially with no word from the company about the make it break it letter from Health Canada while trying to divert attention by realising news about their energy drink which might make it someday into an oversaturate market of 100's of brands.
Also their blog supporter Mason Godric deleted all his facebook chat posts he made propping his MMJ website article trying to debunk two nation newspapers.
Now they disabled their Facebook comments.
Kids this is how not to run a business for long term.
Now about Health Canada. They are taking no chances with any company that might make them look bad for the Feb 23 Super Court case and the two other up coming cases. They already have lots of bad image from the current MMPR companies doing fishy stuff like this http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/04/10/tweed-marijuana-rcmp-seizure_n_5126338.html and with weed prices no one can afford and with lack or available products from existing companies.
Oh did I mention if the product fails they can irradiate their weed and sell it off as good lol.
RE: HAVE YOU ALL SEEN HOW THIS ENERGY DRINK DID ?
Yup when the market was young with maybe 3 brands in 7/11 now there's 100's. LOL
What does CEN have over water, sugar, thiamine, taurine and caffeine LOL
CEN Facebook comments disabled.
How come the company is not furiously rebutting the Globe & Mail and WindosorSun articles? After all they are supposedly libellous.
The license is everything to this company’s future with out it there's nothing and yet they're not rebutting the news.
No word from CEN about Health Canada's letter of intent to refuse license.
Magically energy drink news shows up today.
Basically someone doing a Kansas City Shuffle.
