A big question is when the date of the holders of record is.
Up .001 on 10,000 shares. $10.00
A job, I had one of those!
slowly down on low volume; where is everyone?
Ditto, Sea, you've been a great help.
Clay, what dod you think the next support level is for SRSR?
Clay, what do you think about SRSR now?
What happened to AAAtrades? He was a T/A man and very bullish, and we haven't heard from him in about two weeks.
I should have done my DD first. I thought of Richmond Minerals because of Mr. Hawkins' association with them. On doing my DD, I found that Richmond Minerals is a very small company, it is on the Toronto Venture Exchange, is trading at 8 cents, and is not an appropriate JV partner, in my opinion. Sorry for the premature speculation.
Don't forget, a lot of this regarding minign is pure speculation, fun but still way in the future. Remember, we will probably JV, and our partner can take care of all of this. Perhaps just as likely, we will be bought out by another company long before the mining begins. What do you think of Richmond Minerals as a possiblity, as well as Teck or some other giant?
Thank you, Ken, for your reaistic appraisal. On a fundamental basis, I still like the stock but it is hard to fight the tape.
Several comments. First, regarding moojer, a careful reading of his posts, from the very first one, reveals a continuing pattern of negativity, nitpicking, and frivolous criticisms and questioning. Several times it has been suggested that he contact the company regarding his questions, but to my knowledge he never has, and I doubt that he ever will. I wonder why so many of our board members give him so much attention and forbearance? I encourages him and probably adds to his income. Next, regarding the AFs and uplisting, I believe that Early One's post was realistic. My fear is that it will take a lot longer than we are hoping for, and the price will continue to slide to very low levels because of shorting, impatience, etc. I believe that most of the flippers are gone. I hope I am wrong on this, because I am a strong long and very committed to this stock and company. Finally, long-term I continue optimistic, and think that we are going to be pleasantly surprised on the upside with the other four properties.
Ken, I see that SRSR dropped from A+ to C. It has gone steadily down, with a few exceptions, since the Hawk report. You are predicting no growth this month (June). Do you have any opinions on the medium to long-term prospects? Thanks.
Rawnoc, why do you say that? I see that you are a fundamentalist and swing trader. The action recently is not good, but I still think the fundamentals are sound and that the Hawk Report was positive. The main negative I see short-term is the wait for the AFs and uplisting.
What happened to Jim6103?
I see one positive in moojer's posts. By riling up the board and provking so many responses, we have stayed in the top ten of boards on the home page for many days, attracting more readers and hopefully more investors.
One cautionary note. While AFs are an important step in this process, I don't think we should put too much stock in them in terms of raising the share price. I think many of us were overly optimistic about the Hawk's effect on the share price. I think it was an excellent report, but because of what appears to be market manipulation and panic sellers, the price has gone down precipitously. I believe the real stock price movement will come with uplisting, which will likely take much longer than we expect, and the NI43-101. So, patience is the watchword.
I didn't see scandium mentiond as one of our REEs. That is the really expensive one, but I think we are just fine with the ones we have.
Volume dried up. Waiting game.
OilCan, good question. I think it is a combo of several things. First, we are on the pink sheets, keeping much big money, including institutions, from investing. Second, the Hawk Report, although outstanding, in my opinion, is a Preliminary Report only, and maybe the big money is waiting for the definitive NI 101. Third, it seems like this is going to take a lot longer than many of us hoped for, and most investors, even big money, don't have the patience. Finally, a lot of investors and analysts have to see revenues, which we don't have. Of course, sophisitcated investors in mining stocks know the value of assets in the ground. I still believe that patience will be well rewarded in the long run, but I have to admit, the action recently has given me some pause.
Marketphile, technically you are very correct. However, maybe in his excitement, geo was referring to the location of our vast mineral deposits, and secondarily where the proceeds from the mining will be going.
Several comments. First, thank you to goodlifegeo for an excellent summary. Always thanks to Jim 6103 for his excellent continuing analysis. Thanks to TRipper, but he left out a third possibility today, which was BUY. I'll bet many of us did that. I read through the whole report, admittedly skimming over some of the very technical descriptions. I think it is important to note the excellence, professionalism and thoroughness of this report. Also, statements, analysis and predictions were made cautiously, as they should be, but reading between the lines one can see the enormity of our investment. I have never been in a company like this. Congrats to all of the longs, and my deep appreciation to this whole board for their continued support, information and positivity throughout, even towards our occasional bashers.
I am American but have also lived in Canada. Canadians are understated and generally more modest than Americans. They don't flaunt things as much. The Keevils are classy gentlemen. It is part of their character and success that they don't brag and stick to the facts. The report and PR reek of class and sticking to the facts, as Joe Friday used to say on Dragnet. A sophisticated reader of the PR, as the longs on this board have proven they are, can read through the lines of this PR and see that our hopes and thoughts have been confirmed. Not only has the approximately $5B in niobium been basically confirmed, but that is in one zone only! There are several other zones, plus we apparently have tantalum, uranium and rare earths which are quite valuable. This report couldn't have been better, in my opinion.
I think that those are two speculations which I consider real possibilities. As far as my story, I have been greatly disappointed with this stock, and it seems all of us can only offer speculations, which is a metaphor for the stock's performance in the last couple of years.
Mr. Cork, corny, but funny. I prefer to refer to Scott as the Greatest of all Keevils!
What is the realistic basis for optimism here? Are you happy with the stock price and the yearly chart? As President Reagan used to say, are you better off now than before?
My question is, why did Turley take the position in the first place? What did he have to gain? He had an exscellent reputation going before he joined PTSC.
Although we might make more money after a working, productive mine is established, I personally would prefer a buyout or a merger, that takes a lot of the risk out and the alternative could take years.
If you think this is a good stock, pay the ask. That's the only way you are sure to accumulate, and a .001 means nothing. I have missed a l9ot of profit waiting for the bid, and made much more paying the ask.
This is a different company. It has the same name, but additional property and a new, very reputable CEO and chief geologist. The action of the stock under a previous CEO has no bearing on this whatsoever.
Infantry, very funny.
I would rather see the audit PR come one or two weeks afte the Hawk Report. I think that would be better for the stock price, rather than releasing them together.
Me, too, sea, you and your family deserve the very best.
Sorry, goodlife, I made a type in addressing it to goodlie.
Goodlie, I might be going up there for a week this summer to hike, fish and explore our properties. It would be great to have a party for some of the regulars on the board. I use TD Ameritrade, having switched from Etrade, and am happy so far.
Thank you very much, Jim. Sounds like a place right up my alley. I live in California but used to live in Victoria, Canada. I'll keep you in my thoughts as I'm hopefully catching some big ones and drinking some cool ones. Best of luck to us all on our SRSR adventure, I think we're in great shape.
Lorne's email is very interesting and overall very positive, especially for the long-term. I think the board, in our zeal and impatience, may be jumping the gun in terms of timing. As I recall, in every email, Lorne says another two weeks. It seems to me from the latest email that there is a great deal of work yet to be done, and it will be months, rather than weeks, before we get the results we all desire and expect. That said, if we can be patient and not sell prematurely or lose hope, we will likely be more richly rewarded than we dreamed of. That also means that we have to be patient with the stock price and there may be some very disappointed people who cannot wait and will sell (it reminds me of the old saw, "Marry in haste, repent at leisure". I'm not one of them who will sell, and I hope the majority of our excellent board will do likewise. This should be a life changer for all of us who have the guts to stick with it.
Thanks for the reassurance, sarshee and homey. They have another name for that in Australia, but since this is a clean, scientific board, I shall refrain. I am going to buy a rare earth rod to ward off the snakes, aka MMs.
People have lost a lot of money trying to buy on the bid, waiting for dips, and looking for the right price. I think the big winners have been buyers on the ask, accumulating, and averaging up.
Rig's already famous, and rightly so.
