The contract is signed and we are now in development of LDM! I suppose the Dec. 23rd shareholders update was a sneak peek just for the shareholders in order to "tide them through" the holidays.
The "Medinah Express" is now picking up momentum as it steams forth to "PR Junction." There was a brief slowing midweek last week when bystanders were spotted on the tracks. Unfortunately, no trace of the bystanders were spotted except some scattered clothing, including a pair of dirty shorts. The "Medinah Express" regained speed and is now on schedule!
Your post says it all! Would be great to have PR start on the LDM Monday. The news of a producing mine with assays as high as 3.9 oz/tonne Troy will certainly give many investors a case of "gold fever." Hope to see the mid twenties PPS this week!
Now that the ink has dried on the LDM signing, wonder if PR waits until the ADL signing...
The buying is fast and furious this morning. Over one million buys over the past half hour. 8 to 1 buys against sells. Not sure what is meant in your post.
Ex Blockman, the Alto de Lipangue findings should be re-posted daily for the benefit of those new to this companys extensive collection of claims in this region. This should should give next weeks buyers a preview of what this company is really all about. A great introduction for the newcomers.
Yes, the "Medinah Express" is leaving the station. First stop, PR Junction. Second Stop, Short Squeeze City. Third stop, Bogdanville. Subsequent stops include Accumulation Summit, Drill Valley and Millionaire Town.
There's still time to get on board, although ticket prices increase sharply with each stop!
For those about to rock, we salute you! Loyal MDMN shareholders, that is. Whether it be three days or three weeks for the details to appear, hold tight. It will happen. Nothing to do in the meantime except wait for more news...From the offical Medinah Minerals website, of course.
Yes, the next 24 hours may be the window where the final bets are placed. Some are hinting that next week is going to be "it." Perhaps it's not too late for newbies and the lost to come back into the fold and get in at these still very, very cheap prices. Best wishes to all except the naked shorts.
Three to one buy volume compared to sell volume in the last half hour of trading. Does someone know something? The excitement is building...Could the longs be right? Something is fluttering in my stomach and I don't think it's the cheese I just had.
There is no use in beating a dead horse. I believe one has greater credibility when statements and remarks are reproduced as they originally appeared in print.
Yes, that is correct. The quote made by the poster that was attributed to Les should be quoted in its entirety. It may be misleading to quote the first part of the remark accurately and then to substitute ones own words for the remainder of the remark. To help avoid confusion, I posted the quote accurately as it appeared on the message board. Is there a problem with this?
PPS: To avoid confusion, this quote was made by a message board poster and attributed to Les. Of course, nothing beside updates and statements from the official Medinah Minerals website should be construed as accurate.
It is meaningfully different. As I said, quotes should be rendered accurately. Otherwise it is not a quote and does not belong in quote marks. Not to be picky, but language carries a lot of meaning and replacement of a few words as you just did implies a markedly different reaction in the reader.
Correction: Les said "at the very least" an AGM would be held to "clear the air." Quotes should be rendered accurately.
Come all ye faithful, and even the ones who have lost faith. It's not too late. Looks like the train is boarding....The Medinah Express, that is. Departure time? This week, next week? Have your boarding passes ready!
Yep, Let's dig REAL GOOD! I've got a feeling LDM will put MDMN on the map once those paystreaks are hit. Let's get some PR out on this and watch the PPS soar even higher! Hoping for the Alto deal as well, but LDM is a good start.
How does one know the future with certainty? It's not possible. But with a careful examination of the facts and due diligence, we can make assumptions about the future. With Medinah, the facts are there...A world class deposit with an excellent possibility of twin porphyries, outstanding proven values which will be further borne out with the active mining being initiated at the LDM, sky high gold prices which further enhance the property's value...the list goes on and on.
When the facts are examined, how can one not take a chance on this rare, undiscovered gem? Count me in, I know that to be a winner, one must take a chance once in a while.
There is a lot of truth in parables and fables...In "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" the wolf always shows up after many false alarms. There is a twist in the story of Medinah, however. This time, the wolf finally shows up to devour the greedy naked shorts. And what a feast it will be!
Yes, The perfect storm could well be brewing. The JV announcement, monster short squeeze, and Bogdan buyback, if timed perfectly, could result in some blow-out prices to the upside. Many are talking multi-dollar numbers PPS. I believe we should give management the benefit of the doubt one more time. They do have the ability to influence the landing of the "perfect storm" by timing the JV announcement just right. History does not always repeat. This gamble is well worth taking in my opinion. Sure beats the lotto. Think I'll hold for the big enchilada. Could be right around the corner....
Forgot to add. In your opinion, should those of us who got in at a good price like myself sell at this point? You know, as they say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I'm tempted to hold out for the big enchilada (JV signing) but there have been many delays in the past if we note history. What do you think? Perhaps this is a chance to sell and buy back at a lower price. Do you think this is a good move or not?
No, Mr. Krak.
Not anyone in Medinahland. My source is outside the Medinah stucture i.e. insiders, BOD, spys, etc. They have been right every time except once. Although not a penny stock investor, I have been told that Medinah is gonna blow everyone's socks off. Well, that to me is irresistable. So why not buy a few shares and see...The action sure looks good today. I'm up over sixty per cent so far and holding for more.
I have implicit trust in the people who steered me toward this investment. Their track record is unmatched. With this in mind, I am confident that Medinah will not disapoint. Of course, everyone must do their DD and trust their own judgement. I think the key here is that "pink sheet" stocks are inherently risk and that people should invest accordingly. In other words, "Don't bet the farm."

The project is with the municipality of Santiago and a stones throw from the town of Lampa. Very close to town. The workers just have to be driven up a mountain road to the mine.
As far as ore processing, rock will be taken to a local smelter. I don't know if there are plans to crush the ore on site before transporting, but I believe very little treatment will be done.
If it seems implausible that a mine be this close to Chiles largest city, take a look at the map. You'll see copper mines in the suburbs of Santiago.
Well Thank you, Sir. Much appreciated.
I really want to go to Vegas, but a deal has to be announced before I buy the tickets and book. The wife says "just go." If a deal is announced, I'll be there thanking everyone and will probably ending up giving Dr. Decosta a manly hug for steering me in the right direction(or at least a vigorous handshake.)
Wanted to pick up some more shares in the .0670-0684 range. Missed my chance, I'm afraid. That's OK. got a boatload already.
Something big is forseen by the kind of heavy buying volume we're seeing this afternoon. Lookit that PPS go up! Naysayers, take note! We may be about to rock!!
Well, when a census was taken of shares a couple of years ago, it was found that the total share count was twice the number of officially issued shares. That indicates a large naked short position or really bad math. In this case its a matter of who do you trust?
As far as the evil NSS'rs go, in my opinion, anyone who doesn't want to work for a living and instead, profit from the destruction of some elses hard work is, well,...evil.
As far a riches...unquestionable!
Choppas....doubtful.
Yep, bring it on REAL GOOD and smoke the evil NSS'rs outta their caves!!
Yep, Gotta agree, they are evil. Their day will come.
Thanks for the support. I speak from experience, having "potted" everything on a wall street darling of the 70's (Petro Lewis). I was in my 20's, on margin, and greedy. What I lost (everything) took almost thirty years of hard work to get back.
I have a nice position in MDMN, but it is only about 3-4% of my net portfolio. I recommend that others do likewise, keeping their portion of "ultra-high" risk capital ventures to a small percentage, say, no more than ten per cent of total investment money. Despite our hopes and dreams concerning MDMN, Money is just too hard to come by to take a huge gamble on something that might not happen (at least in the timeframe we're expecting).
Outfits like this typically sell their “naked short” information on a particular company for a hefty sum. How accurate these reports are is subject to question, since the ability to count the “phony” shares is severely hindered by the way government oversight is set up. Transfer agents should know, but really have no idea of the number of shares of shares that are nakedly shorted in a company. They can only see the names and addresses of the "shareholders of record". The Transfer Agent can only see the number of shares any particular MM has in their NSCC shares account. He is not allowed to see how many shares that MM is holding long. In fact, no one really knows enough to get an accurate estimate. About the only way to get an estimate of naked short position is to take a census of shareholdings, made possible by adding up shareholders monthly brokerage statements. These statements show legitimate shares along with the nonexistent and never to be delivered shares produced by the MM’s. If a company has a float of say, 720 million shares and a count of say, 2 billion shares is made in this manner, we can safely say that almost 1.3 billion shares are being nakedly shorted.
Yes the potential is huge, as in HUGE. The professional geologists reports suggest the existence of twin porphyries, indicating a value many, many times the current two billion dollar value already proven out (at yesterdays gold prices).
In my opinion, the Bogdan case has been the logjam creating a standstill over the last three years. This is being resolved, but until there is a court to order to return the stolen shares, I would expect that more delays are possible.
Additionally, many agree that the NSS'rs have interfered with company operations, crippling progress. It has been speculated that when billions of dollars are at stake, these Wall Street behemoths will stop at nothing.
We simply don't know everything that management has had to deal with these last few years. We do know that they have grown the property by ten times, effectively securing the mountain. Ten times the land holdings from a time when the share price was ten dollars a share. The worth of the mountain is without dispute when it is reported that the the mining arm of the Chilean government has secured adjoining land to the claims.
In judging risk/reward, one playing the long side will have to give the benefit of the argument to management. They have plausible explanations for many of the delays to date. On the other hand, those playing the short side suggest history will keep repeating itself.
I've decided to go with management. I could get out now with a handsome profit, but I'm going to wait. My faith is not blind. I will not be going to the AGM unless a deal for the Alto is struck by early February. If nothing happens regarding the Alto by then, I will remain optimistic in the secure knowledge that history does not always repeat itself. In fact, history has not repeated as regards MDMN. The LDM project, already initiated, will show some incredible gold values to the world once the PR messages go out. By virtue of that project alone, I'm going to be a holder of most of my shares until at least the two dollar/share level.
What's hilarious is me laughing all the way to the bank. Up fifty-percent already on this investment, and that's just the beginning. Many agree that big news is just around the corner. With LDM starting production with one proven assay at 454 grams/tonne, a JV to be announced soon, and the coming massive short squeeze that some say will be unprecedented, people need to decide. One good way to decide is to do DD. Its all there. On the other hand there are those that deal with nothing but misrepresentations. Let those with eyes to see use discernment in making their choice: solid documentation or opinion? I'll choose documentation. For starters, regarding Bogdan: http://www.medinah-minerals.com/Q_A_112111.html
Like I say, people should do their own Due Diligence, it's not that hard.
We must exercise personlity responsibility when buying pink sheet securities as these companies do not report to the SEC, thus allowing them to be less accountable to their shareholders. In the case of MDMN, there were no big PR firms hired to "twist anyones arm" or otherwise "hoodwink" anyone. No mass mailings, boiler room calls, and the like. It's all been word of mouth, one investor to the next. People need to use caution with these securities as the risk/reward ratio is very high. For someone to risk it all on any security is very foolish, be it even Boeing, Proctor and Gamble, or any of the other blue-chips. One should allocate just a small part of their wealth to any one security, as any security can fall short of expectations.
I'm tired of hearing about the poor, innocent people who have been waiting fourteen years for this to pan out. No one forced them to buy. If anyone is at fault here for non-performance, it is the huge short position that has reduced this companys market capital to what it is today. Without sufficient market capital, it is difficult for a company to sell shares or dilute and to use that available money for development, drilling, infrastructure, etc. For a company with such outstanding resources to fall from ten dollars per share to seven and a half cents per share in fourteen years reflects the pressure of the short position, not the companys inherent value. Many feel that value will be further "proven out" in the coming days with the initiation of the LDM project and the Alto JV and subsequent drilling which will "block out" many multiples of the two billion in resources already proven (at a much lower gold price).
Everythings a gamble in the market. Invest according to your ability to handle that risk.
Time 14:18:46
Buy Vol: 948,958
Sell Vol: 896,360
I don't mean to be petty, but when I'm right, I'm right. And I'm right about the "Medinah Express" gonna run right over the shorts!
How could that be when buy volume is grater than sell volume today. Are you certain of the date today?
Yep,the shorts are getting pretty nervous..heh heh
When the "Medinah Express" rolls into town, the shorts had best get off the tracks. They're already looking extremely nervous. Plenty of worries there...
Gold, silver, copper, moly, and iron are the metals discussed by Dr. Decosta when he quotes the professional findings. Some of the assays (454 grams/tonne AU) from the LDM project starting this week are among some of the astounding values mentioned. I personally have not found any reference by Dr. DeCosta regarding rare earth minerals. Perhaps there was a post speculating on their possible existence? You know, in a mineral bonanza like the Alto, it must be pre-supposed that there will be associated metals like platinum, iridium, chromium, and the like. The question is, are there quantities economically sufficient to salvage in the smelting process? I don't know. Although a huge fan of the doctor, I don't know if I feel like combing through his enormous number of posts for a possible reference to rare earth minerals. If such a post exists, I trust in the word of others making this claim through inference.
Yes, I too believe $10.00/share is possible. Some are saying that the "perfect storm" that is currently brewing could deliver double-digit dollar numbers very soon. I'm very glad I got on the "Medinah Express." It's about to leave the station by the way..ALL ABOARD!!!
