PR for Backing of Green Earth Fuels Project by Goldman Sachs
http://gefuels.com/newsDetail.php?newsID=22&cat=PR
Potential candidate for 40mgy Louisiana Biodiesel Plant. Throughout 2006-2007 Green Earth Biofuels planned ans secured permits for a 43 mgy (eventual 86mgy) biodiesel plant in Harvey, La. They also had finacial backing from big money.
http://dieselblog.net/2006/12/goldman-sachs-invests-in-86-million-gallon-per-year-biodiesel-plant-in-houston/permits
However they do not list this project on their website and have not PRd any of the progress they made.
http://www.greenearthfuelsllc.com/
They even have 3D images of what the plant will look like. http://www.rounder-graphics.com/index.php?q=gallery&g2_view=slideshow.Slideshow&g2_itemId=1340&g2_return=%2Fportfolio%2F3d%2FGEF_LA%2FGEF_LA_SideViewAfter.jpg.html%3Fg2_0%3Dgallery&g2_returnName=photo
It is odd they do not list the project. My speculation is they either dropped the project, but they did an awful lot of work just drop it or perhaps sold it. If they sold it then it would be a good candidate for the reported purchase of a 40 mgy biodiesel plant in Louisiana. I cannot find any current photos of the site to say if construction has started but they have had permits since Q4 of 07.
I will put a call in today to them to ask about the Harvey, La site. This is all speculation but it is a start I would like it if anyone who has the time could continue to research this and call Green Earth as well.

I do not see what the transfer agent has to do with the company other than selling shares when told and keeping track of certificates. The company BLDV has changed hands and names at least once before the current management was in place. Therefore the TA was most likely selected prior to Quincy and others ran the company. This could probably be found out but I am too full of food and beer to dig it up right now. Happy 4th YEAH AMERICA

Did the Board shut down

I had a gold mining company I own get bought by another company and they just gave us 1:2 for our shares. After a week the symbol changed in my account and half of the shares were gone and it was listed at the price of the new company. Which sad to say after the split was more or less a sideways move.
I am speculating but I would bet that no matter what happened to the structure your order would go through as is. The broker will put the order though at the price you specify that way they are covered. They would just be doing what you told them to.
Nice find. Good to know the new PM of Belize is on board with Biofuels

Oh, so that was not the only day they were on the best bid. I had never seen them up there they were always on the bottom.
Anybody have any theories as to why SPIN would sit on the BID so long move up to Best bid for one day and then Close out the bid after buying a certain number of shares? Any way to tell how may shares they bought.
I am sorry friend I cannot help you
How does this always go back to liberals? Are you saying I am liberal? It is just a fact oil is running out. Period. Why do you protest so much to that. It is true. No matter what you say that will not change. Oil will run out. Whether it is tomorrow or 200 years from now. My wife if pregnant with my first son. He will have to deal with this if we don't. The longer we use oil the more money Iran makes. I don't want to pay Saudi Kings for oil anymore. Do you? We must find an alternative source of transportable fuel which is why I invested in this company.

Funny trading today
I do not understand what the media has to do with this. Do you own this stock. If so does that not mean you at least acknowledge that we do not have hundreds of years of oil in the ground?
No I said the numbers I collect are never wrong :). Besides projections aren't numbers. Like I said they already have the gas price wrong. Either way the point is mute even if you believe those projections the increase in demand will more than out pace any increase in supply which will still cause the price to be unaffordable. The fact remains that oil is finite. Even if we built a space machine to squeeze the earth and collected all the oil in a bucket we would run out. I (god willing) will be around in 2030 I pray we are off oil by then.

They claim that U.S. oil production will increase slightly in 2030. However increase in demand will outstrip the increase in production. I do not know though how much stock I place in their projections because they also say that the "High" gas/gallon price in 2030 will be $4. So they already missed that one.

NO SPIN ON MY L2
What does it have to do with brainwashing it is data. I am a fisheries biologist and I have to argue all the time with people who tell me that there are more fish in the sea than ever but have no data to back it up and yet all the data I collect says otherwise. So if you can provide me some numbers to support your claim I would very much appreciate it. I don't care if the reserves are going up or going down. I work on numbers and the numbers I have found say down. I am not saying they are right because I did not collect them but that is all I have so available data is what it is.

Has anyone noticed the SPIN is missing from the MM today. They Jumped on the bid Friday and bought up a bunch of shares then closed out before the bell and now they are gone. Wonder what that means?

Jason aren't you a geologist.. There is no way that we have hundreds of years of oil in the US. Especially when you are talking about the light sweet stuff for gasoline. Oil is a finite resource just like gold and the price will only continue to rise. The oil companies know where all the oil is. If it were worth getting they would already be drilling there. Hell they don't drill on about half of the leases they currently hold. The ONLY solution is to utilize another non-finite resource for our energy supply.
