MMTC ~ I think with all due respect to Mr. Brennan, his age is definitely a factor. Like I said earlier it makes to much sense to me. Certs soon to be complete, mega sales dollars will follow IMO lol. Mr. Brennan is more of a scientist and he fit well with the company up until now....the R&D stage is over. MMTC after so many years is ready to sell sell sell..............
There are different types of CEOs. Some CEOs are deep domain experts (e.g., engineer CEOs), some are generalist operators, and some are sales gurus. While there is not a right or wrong type of CEO, it’s important that the CEO’s skill-set aligns well with the role of a CEO in a given company.
For example, if the CEO of a startup is very product oriented and or is selling to a technical customer base, being the domain expert is often a great fit. In contrast, if the company sells to businesses and the customers are non-technical, a sales CEO will likely be a better match.
Academically, Mr. Brennan has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Pepperdine University and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Phoenix.
Got a feeling were ready for "sale guru" mode lol.
IMO
MMTC ~ OSIS didnt state the name of the company for a reason? So why would they give the name to whoever it was over the phone??? Makes no sense.
IMO
MMTC ~ All i get is a machine?
IMO
MMTC ~ You forgot IMO. IMO No NOT at all IMO.
MMTC ~ IMO with all due respect Brennan is old. It makes to much sense to me. Brennan steps down right before Certs/Sales. Company is going to the next level and needs someone at the Helm more capable of handling what is ahead. In this instance age is a factor IMO as well. MMTC going to the BIG SHOW IMO!
Could this be us? Thanks?
OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that OSI Electronics, a business within its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division, has received an order of approximately $2 million for electronic sub-assemblies from a major provider of secure identification based solutions.
OSI Systems Chief Executive Officer, Deepak Chopra commented, "We are excited to provide critical hardware components to this leading OEM."
IMO
Go MMTC
MMTC ~ "SEC may be talking with him as we speak...
If not now then before too long, I'd wager."
ROFL
Me thinks Not!
IMO
MMTC ~ No kidding ahhhhhhh to funny.
IMO
MMTC ~ Get Ready! Get Em while they are hot! Wont be able to buy MMTC in quantity without paying a pretty penny here shortly IMO.
IMO
MMTC ~ YEP! MMTC a little changing here and there. Big things coming. MMTC is making adjustments getting ready for much bigger and better things. Cant wait till it all unfolds. Wont be long IMO.
IMO
MMTC ~ The resignation of Mr. Brennan was not the result of any disagreements with the Company.
I think things will accelerate with whoever took over. Right when we are ready to go to market? Yep things really get moving now IMO.
IMO
MMTC ~ Dude Feb, 2013???? Please you are making my side hurt! I cant quit laughing. 2013, way way sooner than that sorry. How bout May or June 2012?
IMO
MMTC ~ I bet if you call and ask him he will tell you? Or you could call the secretary she should tell you? They might even fax you over all the paperwork involved lol. Just like the AOAC sent you over the blueprints, lab tests, and all the info they had on the MIT1000a when you called lol. Sure they'll tell you whatever you need to know. Just give them a ring.
IMO
MMTC ~ Me second!
IMO
MMTC ~ Hey come on we listened to your countdown lol, or should I say countdownS plural. MMTC is still around, but your numerous countdowns predicting MMTC's extinction have long since expired. Go MMTC! Nasdaq!
IMO
MMTC ~ I was able to get a "Im tickled pink about the Tech!"
And that also is not bogus.
Im tickled pink also.
IMO
MMTC ~ You dont have any idea what step they are in sorry lol. All the AOAC will tell you....they will tell you if everything has been submitted by MMTC for the AOAC to start. They will give a generic time frame as to how long it could take. They tell everyone the same thing as far as how long. They will tell you that Listeria is current and on file. Other than that......you wont get much out of them at all. My call was not bogus by the way, to those implying it was. Thanks. GO MMTC!
IMO
MMTC ~ YEP
IMO
MMTC ~ You are right Listeria did take longer as its a beast to identify. MMTC passed with flying colors though, Listeria is current and on file. Mr Haavig knows E Coli and Salmonella will be a walk in the park and not nearly as difficult nor timely as Listeria was to certify.........
David Haavig, PhD and MIT's Chief Scientist, stated, "The AOAC Certification process for E. coli and Salmonella, following this application, should only require three or four months. Since the protocol for making test samples and also the procedure and software for testing using the MIT 1000 are identical to that of Listeria, the time required for AOAC RI to develop the E. coli and Salmonella Certification Test Protocol should be substantially reduced."
Cant wait for Certs. Certs have to be about done. After Certs IMO come sales dollars.

IMO
MMTC ~ I doubt they would go into all the detail you say. Like someone said you would think that would be a confidentiality issue. When I called they were very vague. Basically letting me know if everything was submitted by MMTC to start, general time frame (as a rule of thumb, no specifics as to a date very vague lol) if Listeria was current and that's about it. Common sense should tell you they are not going to go into extreme detail by any means lol.
IMO
MMTC ~ Sales dollars on the way IMO. Certs almost done IMO.
During the latter part of 2008, we appointed an exclusive distributor to sell our MIT products in Taiwan and China. We have entered into similar arrangements with five other companies granting distribution rights in Turkey, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. In October 2009, we entered into a distribution agreement with a Biotek Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian distributor of research and scientific products for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (namely Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar) . All of our distribution agreements remain in effect at this time.
We are in the process of developing promotional materials and marketing and sales strategies with these and other future distributors which we believe will assist in generating sales revenues in the near future.
IMO
MMTC ~ I agree good and conservative. Would not be surprised if sooner.
IMO
MMTC ~ I was told they were excited about the tech. How long the process could take. When i tried to get specifics as to a time frame.....I was informed as a Rule of Thumb they tell everyone 8-12 months. I asked if its possible it could be a lot sooner than that. She said yes but again as a rule of thumb everyone is told 8-12 months. Listeria is current. They will answer questions, but wont go into extreme detail or get very specific with estimates of time etc. I think that is to be expected. I was told they were excited about the tech. I had a good vibe after getting off the phone.
IMO
MMTC ~ Things have been submitted right. After that the AOAC has the ball. You dont know what step they are in lol.
IMO
MMTC ~ All she will say is how long as a Generic rule of thumb and if everything has been submitted. Also will tell you Listeria is current. Very Vague wont go into details whatsoever. You make it sound like they faxed you over the blueprints and the results for the test done thus far lol.
IMO
MMTC ~ She wont tell you where its at in the process lol.
IMO
MMTC ~ I betcha anything it wont be anywhere close to that long. I think Certs are right around the corner.
IMO
MMTC ~ The AOAC doesnt want to try and guesstimate as to how long certification will take. They dont know if problems will arise. MMTC before paying/submitting for Certs with the AOAC made sure the MIT1000a passed all in house test with ease I'm sure. Listeria was also much harder to test for and passed the AOAC test with flying colors, so I'm sure well be fine. The AOAC could care less about MMTC's PPS during the wait....or MMTC investor's impatience lol, they are just making sure the MIT1000a can pass all the rigorous test they put it through. I mean when its done and in use it will carry their seal of approval/reputation. They are going to be sure when telling folks how long a Cert might take...........they are going to be sure to leave a big window, as in like worst case scenario. The AOAC would look bad or like they dont know what they are doing if they told people it would be certified in three months.....then ends up taking 11 months to certify. 8-12 Months is told to everyone as a generic rule of thumb, it means nothing. Judging by Mr. Haavig and the fact Listeria was much harder to test for.......IMO Certs have to be right around the corner. GO MMTC!
IMO
MMTC ~ As a rule of thumb they tell everyone 8-12 months regardless of the situation. She also stated it could indeed be much quicker than that. Its just as a rule of thumb that is what they tell everyone (8-12 months). I asked her if there is anyway it could be done in as little as 3 months or much quicker than 8-12 months. She said that is very possible, but again she cant say, and she tells everyone 8-12 months as a rule of thumb. Mr Haavig already stated E Coli and Salmonella wont take nearly as long as Listeria to certify. So you are quoting a generic time frame given to everyone who ask by the AOAC. They could know it should only take 3 months.....but they will still give you the 8-12 month generic answer if you ask them how long it will take lol. Anyone can call and find out.
IMO
MMTC ~ LOL, I always loved that game as a kid.
IMO
MMTC ~ LOL, darn that's even worse. Thanks.
IMO
MMTC ~ MMTC cant state publicly that OSIS is producing or increasing production on the MIT1000A if it were false. They would face a lawsuit if it were indeed false. I don't understand why all the doubt about OSIS being involved. I mean MMTC has been verbal about the relationship for quite some time. I'm sure if it were false MMTC would have faced the repercussions of making such a bold bogus claim a long time ago. It is IMO in fact true. OSIS is increasing production as most recently announced by MMTC. I'm happy to be involved with OSIS.
Go MMTC!
IMO
MMTC ~ Maybe some people cant believe a .004 stock is collaborating with a beast company like OSIS at $60.00 a share lol. And OSIS has stated they are pleased to work with MIT as its a valuable tool in preventing bacterial contamination. WOW! Hello sales dollars. OSIS is pleased....... I'm ecstatic at .003'sh LOL. Go MMTC!
IMO
MMTC ~ I love green. My favorite color. I predict green Miss Cleo style lol.

IMO
MMTC ~ MMTC and the AOAC are all good. Pretty soon this will be public knowledge IMO.
