May I offer a bit of different perspective here, Lucy?
From what I have been studying on a TA strategy that I have a lot of respect for, don't get too frazzled unless it breaks .12 AND the Williams %R drops to -80. Until then, I am merely considering this a really scary head fake as shorts control the price until they cover their positions, those crooks. And I hate that our government supports this thievery.
But I do understand, it is really frustrating that we cannot take advantage of this buying opportunity because we did not listen to the technical signals. Oh well, (big sigh).
Me too.
Wouldn't you know it, the price started dropping just minutes after I bought my last bit yesterday at .18, LOL.
Never fails!!!
Well I guess this teaches me being more bullish than you, comrad, LOL.
I'm holding and still waiting for that .30. I won't be so arrogant as to be more bullish than you this time.
OK, everyone give up?
Honestly, if anyone else noticed it prior to reading this post, I would LOVE to know who did?
So as not to clutter this board, just PM me, or put a remark at the end of a message you are posting anyway, just a "yes SBC" or "No SBC" at the end of your message.
Careful now - you are on notice: This is a test, LOL.
A test of your critical reading skills and observation skills.
The answer: Notice closely on my message - I am responding to a message written by Wallstreetman. However, if you click on the "who wrote msg # 9309" you are not taken to a message written by WSM but rather another message responding to WSM, written by c a.
This is because there are two, count em, two, messages numbered 9309. Odd, eh? The second message numbered 9309 was written by WSM as a rsponse to vic666 and is the one I was responding to. I have never seen IHUB double up on a message number before, and I'm sure you computer people have some wheels turning as to how this occurred, but just kind of funny/odd.
Ooooooooh: Maybe it was some Twilight Zone kind of cosmic interferance coming from 666 trying to morph into our communications unnoticed or something, LOL. Do-do-do-do do-do-do-do (in the music tone of the Twilight Zone music). Just a little fun and a little laugh about an observation I had made.
I hope you enjoyed the test.
Now, who all passed? Really, now. ;>)
Oh, and the only way you can get both #9309 messages to display is if you read 50 messages at a time, otherwise it just skips over the second message # 9309, Or if you display the message list where 50 message subject lines are displayed at a time. So, many people never read WSM's response saying Howard reads this message board. Well, now they see that response, in this message, LOL.
OT:
Hey all, I was just curious about a little oddity and the observation level/skills of posters here. This is totally just for an inkling of fun, but who has noticed something funny/odd about this post I am replying to? Totally OT.
Thanks, SV
OK, I'm out for the day, will check back after market close to see if we made it back up, and hopefully back to around .20.
I may be being too optimistic there, doesn't matter, will go up later this week anyway. Too much good news about to come out.
Filled!!!!
Finally
I tried to hold the .18 line. Let's see if I've got enough company here or not.
To da moon.
To make lots of dough.
Yep, you hit it right on the head. Good Job, you do know your trading, SA.
I swear my broker is trading in front of me. The minute I placed my order, about 10 minutes after the market opened this am, UBSS placed an order .001 cents higher than mine. They have been sitting there all day refusing to let the bid get down to my bid. It sure looks like they are trying to fill up on shares and not fill anyone else's orders to buy, at least not mine.
I'm still waiting for my fill, not so patiently I might add, LOL.
Come on boys, come to Mama.
Oh heck, Just fill me and get this over with, so you can commense going back up to close at .20.
And I'm buying my last lot right there, hope it fills.
Oh, you got that right,LOL.
Thanks for the info Moxy.
Thanks for the clarification. Do you know the MM they use and what symbol they trade under?
Looks like that MM symbol (is that what AUM stands for?) is still a mystery to us on this MB.
LOL, Oh, I see now. I just love that chart!
I didn't know you used it so much to make your trading decisions, LOL. At least you buy at the right spot.
What is a number 14? If it is the same as a double bottom, where in the world did it get the name "number 14"?
Exclusivity sure helps profit margins 8>).
Actually, your wrong about that RJ. I know a couple of fairly Big investors who, after doing the initial DD on a company, the very next thing they do is want to go directly to the offices and check out the staff and attitude, see if the parking lot is busy (on companies that that matters, I don't think so much so for CHDT) and their favorite indicators to each other is always hearing them talk about is "IS the phone ringing"
Even the nationally known radio show money manager, Clark Howard, talks a lot about checking out companies and how their parking lots are set up, and how the bathrooms are tended, etc. I think he goes a bit overboard, he even checks to see if directors reserve parking spaces for themselves (views that as a negative in many cases). However, he is a multimillionaire, or possibly even a billionaire, with a national following regarding money management and investing.
I think he is wayyy too conservative, but everybody has their own style. He does have a whole lot of excellent advise in many areas.
Can't wait to hear back from you.
And you know from many years of discussions how I like to see the negative as much as the positive when I am invested in a company. And you certainly know why, LOL. Thanks for your input.
You also know that I am a bit more bullish on CHDT than you and Whiz are - I hope I am right 8>).
Yeah, That is the line in that press release that caught my eye also. Very nice.
(Have to change to bolds since I can't capitalize to emphasize anymore, LOL)
OT.: Sorry WSM, I'll have to change that in my communications. That is just how I have always written. Words or phrases I want to empahsize, I tend to capitalize. From 09:45 EST on 7-17-06, I will change my posting style. Thanks for the warning.
What???
You posters who are excited about this company are not going to allow us others who want to protect our investment access to information/opinions from another poster who will bring us another perspective. You guys are going wayyyyy overboard here, and it is NOT in the best interest of helping all of us that are invested in this company. I do not like this holding down and puuting out of any posting of concerns that are less than totally positive. I thought this was a message board on which to exchange information and thoughts of what we were invested in, but you guys are making it into something a bit more risky, and I do not like it.
Honest? Might be the word you are looking for, Lucy
jjcrunch, please just continue posting what you are able to find out. This kind of DD is whta many of us invested here are looking for. We want to see what others see, whether or not it could possibly include something that offers a downside. However, so far, in your posts I fail to find anything negative other than a gripey secretary who is on the ball enough to know enough when to apologize for her attitude. We all get that wayy from time to time - no problem. I do like to find evidence of phones ringing a bit more and a few employees bustling around at the home office, but with Howard working all hours of the day from home - likely THAT is where much of the phone ringing is happening.
What concerns me soooooo much more is when a few trusted longterm, extremely positive posters find several negatives in your post enough to put you on guard. I think we should all be entitled to this information whether or not you sugar coat it nice enough for us to swallow it easily. Thank you for the time and efforts of you and your friend, and please do not post so nice that we have to read between the lines - some here like it blunt, NEED it blunt, to temper all the exuberance - it helps us have stronger staying power. If the people who are very excited about his company get their feathers ruffled over such posting that is merely passing on information and obviously NOT bashing, up to this point, I think that becomes rather SCARY to us trying to make sure we don't stay in on a ride that is over-fabricated. JMO.
WOW!, Thanks.
That is very helpful. I'm trying to learn all I can to overcome past stupid mistakes and not knowing when to sell. I often either leave a WHOLE LOT of profits on the table or lose most of my profits by not selling when it is time and the stock then goes down, down and more down.
Thanks again.
Yes, that is accurate. I am living that life experience right now.
THANK GOODNESS FOR CHDT!!!!
I can finally start paying taxes on my trading income, LOL.
mjbommar, that is one extremely helpful chart. Thank you so much for providing that information.
You and Dart are some of the BEST!!!!
I was ready for even a bit more of a pull pack, but it just is NOT HAPPENING, so far. I'm impressed with the support, which is why I added some more.
Will add more, if it pulls back even more, because this is NOT staying down. I'm sure of that.
FINALLY!!! Filled me for another 30,000 at .163.
Wall,
I was one of the first that mentioned that the posts were of a large enough number that you might be getting the opposite if what your purpose was when you suggested everybody post as much as they could so that our board would go up in numbers on the "most actives" list. I was NOT complaining about having to read through bunches of messages that had fun, helpful, etc. interactions among board members. Those help cement the community here on the board together and are rather fun to read, and really are often just one to three lines, so VERY EASY to get through. I think those are essential to an astounding board community which is what I come to a message board for, secondary to getting accurate and debated information about the company.
My point was, you were coaxing people to post as much as possible so that they would increase our numbers and subsequent exposure. I don't think that is the best way to get the company noticed. That only brings in the group that comes with the hype and subsequent drop. Those will come regardless of the board, in a soon enough time frame. The top notch company execution of an amazing business plan and subsequent increasing share valuations, supplemented with the excellent posts providing outstanding DD and point-counterpoint discussions is what draws HIGH QUALITY investors to a message board. Then the fun, close knit, helpful community is what will keep them here as long as the company continues with its performance.
That is all I was trying to say - no need to encourage the team here to post more than normal to draw in people who don't see the value from the start, IMHO. When you do that, you get the opposite; some people just won't read all the extra posts so instead of drawing them in you deter them from looking into the company more (if they are this unintersted - OK, let em go), and then there are those who follow the hype and are likely to not be very long-term investors who are interested in the long-term quality of the gem we have here.
I didn't mean to complain, but rather point out a possible opposite reaction to a plan being put in motion.
I'm a bit confused. I do not know anything of this Shakerzzz person you people are posting about. He seems to be a rather agressive MOMO player for the 3 to 5 day trades created in a frenzy. I do know of Ken Goodrich, which seems to be a fairly level heading swing trader. Some of these last posts kind of lead one to believe that Shakerzzz and Goodrich are part of the same crowd. Are they?
What was 7274?
Why was it deleted if you thought it significant enough to add to the IBox?
I agree totally with you Sturg. Market Cap should be one of the top measures that is talked about on a continual basis when people keep valuing the stock much higher than the current price. I do not see a $500MM market cap as of yet, other here evidently do, but I cannot convince myself yet.
The leadershop of the company are very responsible and seem to be quite loyal to shareholders, but there has got to be some share price at which even they will sell a few shares, and I would not begrudge them that at all. Nevertheless, THAT is when float of 100MM becomes a somewhat larger number and so goes the argument that the ENTIRE OS is what is needed to put a valuation on the company at all times, because we will never know for sure when they will decide to sell those shares. Until they retire those shares, whether we like it or not, they are a part of the total in the valuation of this company.
"IBox" stands for Information Box.
It is the box of information that is organized at the top of each message board on IHub which gives shareholders pertinent information about the board, the TOS rules, and gives easy access to fundamental and TA information along with pertinent links. Good message boards include thorough DD information here to get people going on their search to find out what the company is all about.
Go to the top of the message list and be sure to NOT have board information hidden. You will see the IBox right at the top of the list of messages.
Enjoy your reading ;>)
They came back down just to give me the rest to complete my fill.
Added my last bit at .182, only a partial fill.
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
That's for sure ;>)
That is a necessary board topic message so that posters like me know what the heck is going on when they see a bunch of deleted messages. I get infuriated when I see messages deleted unless the moderator explains why they had to be deleted. I do not like information about a company into which I am putting my money, being censored by those who want only cetain things about the company posted. So, if I see a deleted message, I wonder what information is being kept from other shareholders to view and make their own decisions about such information.
With the moderator posting that those were deleted due to an off topic discussion of some light hearted NON-COMPANY related stuff, then I can allow my blood pressure to go back to normal and continue reading the board to get access to useful information about the company I have money invested in.
I appreciate the moderator posting why he deleted the messages - THANKS.
You warning is often very true, BUT on the other hand, when you have such knowledgeable posters who do such excellent DD, all these questions really do is open up issues that can be addressed with appropiate answers to reinforce all shareholders' confidence in the company. So, in the best order of the matter, these are opportunities opening up for the knowledgeable longs to make stronger holders of all us less knowledgeable shareholders. Thus, only a positive can be drawn from these "bashers" (as so many like to label them) when they are addressed instead of being run off, demeaned or deleted - just responded to with thorough answers that put any of their concerns to rest.
IT MAKES STRONGER HOLDERS of all the longs - so let the bashers bash all they want so we know how the worst case scenario has extremely low probability of occurring. Otherwise the week longs and the less knowledgable longs start to wonder and worry what MIGHT be hidden in the closet that noone wants to allow to be discussed, and think this company just HAS to be overvalued, and they start selling because they do not get the benefit of the counterarguments to issues bashers present. These counter points will make this group of longs more confident to keep holding for MUCH HIGHER prices, as long as they are presented as valid and verifiable counterarguments, (which this group of investors has no problem doing - you guys are tops at your research, THANKS.)
