Morning mbumpt,
Only mother nature will answer when we get to dive so I have no guesses there. Your spring and summer guess is for sure, that we do know. I do expect them to be making finds along the way so any of the days they can dive could yield some goods.
Yes, I'm going with the experts but I also put a lot of stock in what was found prior on site three.
I never thought site three would be easy, they are dealing with clay sub surface in the area but are coming a long nicely when they can dive. I just wish we knew what they have found so far but I'm sure KK is up to something, he always seems to have a plan and I'm not going to pretend I know how to run the company better than KK.
I hope this pans out for all of us!
Mbumpt, do you doubt that site 3 has a good chance of holding treasure?
Company face book page has added some info about the iron maidens blowers.
I totally agree Gman, I don't think they will share anything they're finding until everything is in place. Heres a little history on the site seafarer has a permit on. I'm glad Funk and his team couldn't get their permits renewed, it also shows how skilled our ceo is, KK gets it done.
Funk and his partners hope the wreck is from the famed 1715 Spanish Silver Plate Fleet. The fleet of 11 galleons set sail from Havana in 1715 laden with jewels, gold and silver, but ran into a hurricane along Florida's east coast.
Funk and his partners have been surveying, exploring and researching what might be another of the treasure ships, in 43 feet of water off Melbourne Beach.
While exploring the wreck in late August, they found several artifacts that boosted their hopes.
"Our artifact collection is pretty interesting," Funk said. "We have enough artifacts, I think, to show what period they belong to."
There's the intact, silver-handled pistol and what appears to be a boarding sword, which has a curved blade and was known to be used by fighting mariners. The collection also includes some cannon balls, pewter plates and a stack of silver platters, which Funk said are beautifully embossed.
"They look like a big turkey platter," he said. "We're sending (the collection) to a conservation lab for more study."
In the meantime, Funk and his partners will work on renewing the salvaging permits they need from various state agencies, such as the state Division of Historical Resources. Permitted salvagers can end up owning items they find, but 20 percent of the value of found treasure goes to the state.
I called some dive shops in Melbourne and asked if they offered trips for diving in the winter and they said no it was to rough the majority of the time and visibility is poor. One of the shops recommended going to south florida. I asked them if everyday was like this and they replied no you do have some good days mixed in here and there. I made the calls a couple of weeks ago.
Can't wait for tax selling to be over and the divers getting to work a little.
It only takes a moment to uncover treasures but it takes years to get to that point and sfrx is there and has a good chance. IMO
I don't think the buckle counts. I think the three pieces have to be from a part of the actual ship which makes it interesting that the boats have been going back to the same spot when they can dive.
Imo, I think they may have found a large portion of the wreck or the main wreck itself.
I also remember hearing it will take two hundred good diving days to dig this spot entirely which is why we (posters) we're trying to figure out how many good diving days they have had since finding this spot.
I am guestimating they have had around 25 diving days on this spot and that was working in poor visibility a lot of those days.
Thoughts?
The last thing that was pr'd was:
Mr. Kennedy continued, "I am very thankful to our crew, project manager Terry Tate, Captain Alexander Javorsky, Levin Shavers, Aaron Cartwright, Mike Renfro, Michael Brownstein, and Jonathon Tate for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to adhere to archaeological guidelines. We are all very optimistic about this site but we still have a lot of testing and exploration to do to find more of this shipwreck. We have moved significantly closer to providing the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research two of the three pieces needed for conversion of our dig and identify permit to a full recovery permit."
Since then the boats have started going back to the same spot when the water has been good enough to dive which hasn't been much.
I understand that. Let's see how it goes.
IMO, we are good. Everything is in the hands of our company.
Ask yourself why you invested in sfrx to start with and think about their chances of finding valuables on site three. Justified?
I'll check on you if it takes a while;)
Or they find treasure and we all live happily...
Ha, they are shiney though;)
Excellent post john, I like the photo!
I hope he doesn't see this board also, I didn't think of that, ohhhh nooooo.
Someone on this board recommended that to me, can't remember who but thank you.
Heck Porman, I'm not going to guess on a timeline, just think it will come.
It wouldn't surprise me if the sp drops more, I couldn't believe the rise on the first 2 sites and now can't believe the fall on this site, seems backward to me. I'll just keep adding.
My son is at florida tech in Melbourne so I can get reports occasionally. I bought him a few shares so now he doesn't charge me gas money;)
And they will change direction TB but don't forget we'll get(what I call) bonus diving days here and there while we wait.
It will be interesting to see if the boats go back to the same spot when they go out again.
I'm not going to try to guess the sp with this stock.
The salvage permit(or application) has to be close since they had 2 of the 3 pieces needed a few months ago and I seem to remember it had a conversion clause to make it easier. I think we will get a pr on it since it is a material event.
Good, wining gets old.
Good time of year to be a buyer TB!
What's your opinion of what an announcement of a salvage permit will do to the sp? Assuming we get it.
I almost wish it would be announced after tax loss selling has finished but of course good news is welcome anytime.
At worst we're only twelve or so weeks away from consistent good diving and anything we get along the way is a bonus. On any given day it only takes the blowers seconds to uncover the precious,
Correction, after getting more info on theses partnerships, they are not active yet which would mean they would create additional income once active. More to look forward to.GLTA
I think the partnership with the Irish dally mirror created last December will also help.
Hopefully those partnerships created last year will boost our financial numbers coming in.
Hopefully we'll get a good pr soon and won't have to guess.
Tic....Toc....Tic....Toc.... time goes faster than we all want in reality.GLTA
There is usually a big spread between ask and bid after market closes but that is bigger than the norm. It doesn't mean anything that I know of.
All major credit card companies have gone more and more over the years to affiliate marketing because it works.
Capted, do you think since the boats have been going to the same area that they might have found the wreck or a big part of it?
I'm on board totally with this direction, it's the same as a crew of salesmen working for you on straight commission. Proven approach. IMO
Is that the first time it was there in the morning? Hoping company is becoming more visible.
Exactly why I'm here umiak!
I really think the big question isn't if but where.
TB, you hit the nail on the head and I have posted it several times in the past, we need the boys in the water and patience. I think we all agree site 3 has a great chance of producing treasure. It's just a matter of time before we find out for sure.
IMO, Kip or Mel didn't have credibility before they found treasure or am I wrong?
I just played the ponies today and had a nice visit to the oval and came out well. Every time i placed a wager, all I could think about is sfrx has better odds and I keyed all the favorites in my exotics today.
Love this play!
Crap, thats to bad, they had a good shot there with a little french included.
I know this is a high risk stock but am willing to own it for the possible return.
In this game we are the only player on the bench and we're saying "put me in coach" lol
With the relationship KK has made with the state, I would have to think they are rooting for him. It's a win/win for the state and sfrx.
May the waters be calm and the skies be clear, lets get those boys in the water!
Yes I agree it's treasure or bust and that's the same rules all treasure companies play by.
I think your selling KK short though, this company will be in business long after site three treasure or not, IMO.
Now Scott's I can definitely see KK deliver a Beckham here!
I know what you mean, a couple of Roland's and I've been hitting the buy button also. I just can't talk myself out of it and I've tried but can't. It will be nice to see the pr about the salvage permit when it comes, part of me wants that before treasure news so nothing funny happens with the state.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I agree with you mbumpt, if you look at where sfrx is now, the pps should be between .02 & .04. Good buying opportunity if you can stomach treasure stocks.
