did the career thing long enough.

could there actually be more news coming? i can't understand how today's news could be responsible for this move, particularly on the heels a a large diluting announcement Friday. something isn't adding up.
and after we run up, profit-taking typically pushes this thing back down pretty far. today, not only is it hanging in there, but it seems like it wants to move up again.
i wonder how much we've sold today :)
My deepest sympathy to you and your family....
U.S. and European officials may decide this week that Roche's top drug should no longer be approved for breast cancer, an unusual step that could shave $1 billion from annual sales as insurers refuse coverage.
Avastin is the world's best-selling cancer medicine and one of the most expensive, a fact that fuels controversy.
It carries approval for fighting breast and other cancers, but the drug has not extended survival or improved symptoms in any study of patients with breast cancer.
in our case, it should be referred to as Market Crap
could be a MM signal for prearranged takedown tomorrow
i was prepared for this to be dead money for 6 months or so.
now i'm not so sure.
when fellas with big dollars move, it usually means "it's time".
i'd look for exceptional bavi news when it comes...
will our government pressure the FDA through the back door to drag their feet on pphm since dart is now involved?
that's just great. another low-life who will fit right in with some of our boardmembers. the only good news is that creeps like him only go where they can make big money... i obviously want this stock to take off, but now i feel like i need a shower
so what is this morning's bid/ask volume telling us?
they may not be thumbing their nose at shareholders..
another possibility is that they've been trying to recruit from a big time outfit like genentech or a BP with no success, and realized that that had fill the spot with somebody in order to move forward with some kind of partnering deal with a legitimate outfit.
what public corporation could make a potentially significant deal with an outfit without a leader?
while this certainly looks like another inside job on the buddy system, there's a possibility that filling the post was somebody's prerequisite for moving forward...i hope that's it.
CJ...i must have missed the part in the announcement about how he has taken small biotechs to the big-time previously
2000...that's a pretty big club you're in
meeting must be a snoozer
we need to recognize that 'investors' aren't 'investing' these days. you can be pretty sure that the volume around this stock is from 'traders'. that goes a long way in explaining why the stock can't hold gains....pros are making money all the way up, and then making just as much all the way down....over and over and over, while we 'investors' wait for the big move, not being able to afford to be 'out' when the move happens.
no doubt this thing will spike up and down 25-50% several more times in the next year. we will celebrate when it goes up, be disgusted when it goes down, demand BOD changes, sit tight on our shares, and possibly make money in the end...12-18 months out. in the meantime, the traders will make money here on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis while they drive us nuts.
wall street's just a casino camouflaged as legitimate business....
is there a better day-trader's stock in the universe?
at least we're good for somethin'
Glory be! PR was actually trumpeted by Rueters rather than only being put out by the usual pay-to-play services. Could it stick this time?
the big lots of 'ask' are gone, and we backslide yet again
i'm sure that poster will be the talk of the meeting.
lafont..
what i admit i don't know is how the folks who are pushing it up and down for profits on their timetable are doing it.
denying that it's being done, as some people continue to do, is just ridiculous.
well, folks..
for those of you who don't believe this stock is very, very controlled by people making big bucks as it goes up OR down, please explain why all of a sudden it isn't plunging under 1.40 and it can't go up at all in spite of the large discrepancy between bid/ask order volumes with a single penny of spread.
while institutional interest is microscopic, that ain't retail action...
by the way. folks...
raise your hand if you think this is going from $1.50 to $50 anytime soon, or without all of wall street knowing it before UMASS'S buddies do...
UMASS
please get that in writing so i can finally quit this bloodsucking job
that is SOOOOOOOOOOOO weak. those feeble amounts are worse than buying nothing.
i rec'd such a call yesterday.
PPHM, the World's Best-Kept Secret
lafont..
of course it's better than being cancelled now. unfortunately, now we have the start the countdown for renewal/cancellation in March...here we go again.
here's the point: the market cap is $77,000,000. do the math. the Street thinks this stock and the science is virtually worthless beyond Avid at this point in time, and the issue is an eye-rolling laughing stock in the investment community because of the spikes that are regularly assumed by pros to be the result of inside info or some degree of manipulation.
it's like going to the track when you know the races are fixed. you just hope to benefit from being on the right side of the fix when it happens...
not reassuring because it's only 6 months of minimal revenue. that is not a resounding statement of commitment, and that is what we are struggling to get from anywhere at a time when we need it. "stunning" results would have been worth more than 6 months, don't you think?
that news release is not reassuring at all.
i thought i had caught the falling knife, but apparently it sliced my fingers off, causing me to lose my grip as the knife continued downward, striking the loaded gun trigger and shooting me in the foot. ouch..
i have tried to catch a falling knife, again, today.
hopefully, my fingers will remain attached to my hands this time :)
let's remember that somebody is buying at these levels, and i'd bet that they're not retail investors considering what the chart looks like...
whoever made the chart get ugly is likely capitalizing...
now that the manipulators have gotten their cheap shares, the pps will run back up enough before the voting to quiet down the troops.
UMASS..do you know BOT?
can't believe $1.47 feels good
nice big lots at the close...what funny business goes on here
can we hold $.28??????
and the grant started 3 years ago
gee, i wonder why investor relations hasn't responded to me today...
could it be that i'm #426 on today's list and they just haven't gotten to my questions yet?
take your pick:
1. no defense dept renewal/extension?
2. naked shorts by hedges?
3. poor bavi data?
4. one of the big scientists exiting?
5. retail investor stops being hit since volume isn't too big today?
too bad it's not going up for no published reason, like:
1. licensing deal for Cotara
2. stunning bavi trial results leaking out
3. insider buying
4. partnership deal
5. published confirmation of science by Duke!
6. animal rule fast track
how loooooooowwww can we goooooooooo?
