Now he has his own site IPCI.CA that he feeds people garbage and acts like he has an inside track on both IPCI and TEVA. He is either pharmer guy or pillpopper or both.
I really think some of the selling is traders bailing that were here for the 5mg approval announcement that is overdue. People are losing their patience and selling. Would be nice to get the news the 5mg dose was approved. If not, I think we will keep going down.
What happened to Tonypro? He used to be on here all the time.
I am not going to meeting as I am in Wisconsin. But I really hope someone who does can provide a good summary of the "newsworthy items".
I found it interesting to read. Some good info there. I was very skeptical about the predictions though.
The www.ipci.ca website is down. Anybody know if it is temporary or gone for good?
Thanks Guru, news about Phase 3 Rexista and a partnership with TEVA would be huge. I also think that mid May we will see some more approvals on Focalin XR dosages. In particular 5mg and maybe 10 and 20mg. There was a post on YMB that showed the 5, 10 and 20mg exclusivity expires 5/9/15. Good luck.
Thedrugguru- If we do get news on Phase 3 Rexista, I think we see a nice push upward. A drug in a Phase 3 FDA trial certainly carries a nice premium to be factored into PPS. When you talk about a licensing agreement with TEVA, do you mean for Rexista or other?
Definitely some good info posted on that site. Whoever is doing it, keep it up.
Tonypro99- Are you Pharmer-Guy on IPCI.CA?
You do think they will announce a Rexista partner soon. Me too. My gut tells me it will be TEVA.
Does anyone know the status of the Teva 40mg version of Focalin XR and if it has been released. I am wondering if we can expect approval on this dosage in May when the 5mg approval is likely?
Guru- I agree, the 5mg will add to the bottom line nicely. I suspect when that is approved(hopefully May) we can count on at least an average of $1.5M per quarter of Focalin XR sales and quite possibly more. Another ANDA approval will bring us to break even at our current burn rate. Lastly and most importantly Penna is the man! He is going to take Odidi's technology and translate it into revenue over the coming years.
Thank you dtstx
Excellent information Doog. Thank you!
dstx- When do you think we see approval of 5mg Focalin XR? May possibly? How about 40mg? Thanks.
Sprot- I find it hard to believe someone can be Neutral on a stock that is trading at $2.60 while they have a price target of $16... A near 615% gain is not enough for them.
As of 2/23/15 IPCI had $4.4M of cash on hand. This is enough to fund operations through May 2015. As of 11/30/14 they had roughly $4.2M cash on hand. Share count only increased 85K during this 3 month time(so no significant contribution from ATM). I am guessing IPCI's cost of operations was roughly $3-4M during this time. Thus it looks like they received revenue from both TEVA and PAR during this period. My guess is the revenue from PAR was roughly $1-2M. So it appears they may have received a sizable upfront payment from TEVA- on the order of $1-3M. Any opinions?
Nice to see a positive reaction to earnings! 5mg approval of Focalin XR in May. One more ANDA approval and they would likely be at least cash flow neutral. It will be interesting to see how they deal with any major cash needs like NDA trials, manufacturing equipment, etc. I want to hear more about TEVA agreement.
Drugguru- I agree with everything you said. In particular, this press release was written much better than in the past.
As of 12/31/14 Nasdaq reports Tekla had 1,404,000 shares. So I do think they have recently increased their position.
I know they will need cash at some time soon. An up front payment now would help a lot.
Question- What is the likelihood of IPCI receiving an up front payment from Teva anytime soon? All opinions appreciated.
Hopefully Teva purchases shares on the open market and is not just given a bunch of shares at todays unrealistic value. If IPCI needs money, I hope they go about it smart and not just dilute a couple million shares away to Teva at $2.30.
guru- I agree with you that PAR will be the partner on at least one of the oldest three ANDAs. Why? Because they do not have any of those drugs in their portfolio. Regarding agreement, I do feel it will be more favorable to IPCI, but I am not sure it will be in the form of an upfront payment or just a higher cut on the sales.
drugguru- I cannot answer your question exactly. But Par does not have versions of IPCI's three oldest ANDAs- Effexor, Glucophage and Protonix. I also note that Teva does have versions available of all those. My speculation on the situation is Par will possibly sell and market Focalin, Effexor, Glucophage and Protonix. While Teva is going to market Seroquel XR and is looking at many other things in IPCI's pipeline. I would also like to note the PR said IPCI would be manufacturing the drug for Teva. That is huge news! This is just speculation on my part and I would like to hear if anyone knows for sure that PAR has rights to multiple ANDAs form IPCI????
I believe IPCI's agreement with AstraZeneca allows them to start selling Seroquel late in 2016. I am interested to learn more about this Teva deal. lastly, as you said, exclusivity on Seroquel would be a HUGE payday!
You are 100% correct that Teva already has approvals on the 3 oldest ANDAs. I think this then has to be either for Rexista or Seroquel. In either event it has the makings of something huge! I know Rexista has the most potential, but don't underestimate Seroquel as IPCI is ahead of the competition on that one and the market is very large.
Boy that is a typical answer from a government agency. "We are definitely working hard, but we can't answer your question"!
I read on Yahoo, that there was a new ANDA filed for Trazodone extended release or trade name Oleptro. Anyone know when this was filed exactly?
doogdillinger- I agree. With Pfizer ending their agreement on Remoxy and their past problems with once a day Lyrica, IPCI looks to be a great match with Rexista and Regabaitin.
I believe Pfizer's controlled release Pregabalin(Lyrica) may be approaching an FDA decision date. Does anyone know when this decision is expected? Also, I remember reading that they were having some problems with this product but am having a hard time finding that info once again. Anyone that would share any knowledge/links on the subject would be much appreciated.
I have been reading for a while and finally joined. Happy Thanksgiving all!
Thank you dtsx
I read a while back that 40 mg Focalin would likely be approved around November 28th. Can anyone provide details on if this will happen and why it should happen on that date. Thanks. I have been reading here a while but just opened an account. I am long IPCI!
