Right Zenaku, I was referencing to the Press Conference and I was also referencing the fiber not the fabric. The Company is not in the fabric business but the technical fiber.
Well, sinking maybe a strong word but it translates my feeling. Feeling that we are not progressing but declining.
I don't think that we will be on the uptrend before some time but more on the downtrend. At the same level, perhaps, at the best.
We'll see if you are right.
By the way, why would anyone bring a sample of silk while promoting its new achievement of a new material (if not for comparison)?
Some one told who that those (the ones at the PC) were only regular silk?
Wow, looks like the boat is sinking! I guess people are not biting into the Pump or were not at all comforted by the last PR.
In essence what I understand from the last PR is that we are not likely to see a sustainable commercial production (as indicated by some knowlegeable posters here) before a while, i.e until a deal is reached with a buyer of MS or BR, because the company is still working on the production scalability, and production of test products???
It has been three years already since MS has been created and by the way there were samples at the Press Conference at UND, who made those samples? What then, was the purpose of the Pilot?
"We anticipate that our operational, and general & administrative expenses for the next 12 months will total approximately $1,200,000...We also do not expect any significant additions to the number of employees...The exact allocation, purposes and timing of any monies raised in subsequent private financings may vary significantly depending upon the exact amount of funds raised and our progress with the execution of our business plan."
Isn't the hiring of the two new employees significant?
That's really interesting, so the Company is dealing with a sericulture farm, which apparently we don't have in the States...
I guess you are right Mike. This would probably make the PPS glide down quite a lot unless we get some other good news.
I think those details will come in September or October! Those will be even more interesting PRs.
Great times ahead!:o)
I think Mike was right for the most part about the cocoons, the reeling and the weaving! This could (should) have been clarified in the last PR! So the scale up to production meant what was explained today. If all PRs were like this would eliminate a lot of confusion for the non-scientists like ( and I think I represent the majority of the investors in this company).
I really like today's PR, because it is very informative and it leaves litle room for interpretation!
I hope the market will react favorably and that people start to see the limited time left to buy under a two digits PPS.
Sounds like! I also that this a good news.
Vacation, that's a good point, didn't we have a similar situation last years when Kim and Ben took their vacations, i.e. no PR during that time?
Zinc I agree with your position on the three weeks time line and expectations.
I'm pretty sure there is problem (and Kim has been very poor in PRs to inform shareholders on potential problems, and I think those PRs are just as important as potential successes) and it probably relates to financing or production issues (unless what had ended the quiet period is now a success and therefore requires another quiet period).
I feel that the silent right now is like the fog on the highway, not a good feeling...
Hi Fastlane, this is not unusual, I've seen several other penny stocks being pumped through different channels and it has happened to KBLB before as well.
Floyd, you know that if this was really going nowhere we would have known by now, that's why you are sticking around, just like most of us here. There are developments happening and we shall know in the coming days or week, at this point it really does not matter as long as the develoments are good for us.
My sincere condolences Romans, I'm really sorry for the pain this may cause you.
It's not in Michigan for sure, Alydyr would know otherwise, he would have been alerted through a pump e-mail!:o)
Zinc, I share your concern about the lack of follow up by Kim, he is not helping KBLB's name, i.e perception wise.
Mike, that does not mean that Kim is not working hard behind the scene to get some progression done for commercial production and have some substance to PR. It is just that when similar situations occur in more than one occasion it does not help on the perception...
Not for me, I think you are saying it right Zinc! I wouldn't hold it against Kim though if the PR was next week.
Kim may have tacitly accepted a pump before a major PR release (hence the pump)...that's a thought.
Completely right Mike, that's the way Ben answers most questions! They can be read in different ways, just like most PRs we have had so far from KBLB!
Well said Zinc!
Yeah, what is the source of the rumour? It usually starts that way, but jokes too...
Well, it seems that byers are not duped by the pump and dump, PPS slowly retracting back...
Mike, that means MMs have been effectively in control for the last three years, if not more?!
I guess something is cooking...
So it is a Swalert message!
Manshoon, you sound like one of those penny stock promoter!
Bigfoot, I hope the samething! And I hope to feel the effects in the next few months, i.e. see a sharp increase in PPS.
Yeah, that's a keeper. Hope this is no inspiration for Kim!:o|
I thought the purpose of the pilot was also to calibrate and test SSMs' machine with the MonsterSilk (and possibly Big Red).
By the way, some have indicated that Big Red should the subject of publications, but I think this may not happen before sometime as it may very well be subject to a CA or NDA agreement, if it has properties superior to MonsterSilk, that the military is not willing to disclose, to keep a competetive advantage.
Is that a possibility?
That would be great!
Silk that's very plausible.
We always thought that NDAs or CAs were to protect other parties, but perhaps those are more to protect KBLB (or more likely both)?
Two years of preparation would give us around 2000 kilos of cocoons (based on 365 days of cocoon production, I don't suppose worms are unionized to have rest periods). Even if it was only a year it would make around a 1000 kilos!
Yeah, me too! Hope this is not a paper exercice!:o)
It means to me that even though they don't expect to be in full production, they expect to be in production!
Right! And before commercialisation comes production...
Yup, me too!
Can't be anymore clearer Es! Completely agree with you!
Agreed, I could reading this all wrong but I really don't think is in the business of raising and selling MonsterSilk worms or raw material. I really understand that commercial production means the actual fiber called MonsterSilk.
I really have a hard to believe that this could be read otherwise.
And yes I do believe that we are not told on every details before commercial production apart from what we have been told so far on the Pilot Program (which in my opinion is all the eggs, food, space and cocoon you are referencing).
Mike, I think you are misreading my point, in order to start commercial production of MonsterSilk, KBLB must already have all the silk necessary to weave the fiber called MonsterSilk (this is not the name of the worm but the fiber).
That is the way I understand the timeline of three weeks (or about).
Mike, I don't consider the issues related to eggs, the food and the space for the worms to be relevant for the beginning of commercial production, that should have been already be figured out if KBLB had intended to start commercial production of MonsterSilk (not the worms, but the actual fiber) in the time frame indicated by Kim, i.e three weeks.
