Cobra, I must give you credit for your persistency despite the naysayers. Because NVEI hasn't delivered much to support your loyal optimism. I guess we can only hope that next week or next year NVEI EARNS our respect and rewards loyal shareholders.
Cobra, when you post, "I think it has the chance of ending up much better than anyone here has imagined so far". Do you have a basis for that kind of optimism about the Hellosoft deal or is it really just the wishful thinking that some of the rest of us have?
Cobra, please give me your take of the 8 k. What positives and negatives do you see for shareholders?
WHP, obviously, you are not as "intrigued" as I am about Cobra's DD.
zzt, what intrigues me is, that despite NVEI's woeful record, Cobra seems to firmly believe in them and NVEI's prospects for the future. The intriguing part is, he has probably done more personal "digging" into the company than anybody else in forming his pro bias. My hope is that Ketch and company justifies Cobra's steadfast belief in them, SOON.
carl, why's that?
Right now, I trust Cobra and Cobra seems to trust Ketch. I don't feel Cobra's faith in Ketch is just "blind faith". Cobra seems to have "done his homework". For me, it's kind of a "2 + 2 = 4 situation". Cobra has helped me keep my faith that NVEI has a viable product that is "slowly, but surely" in the process of being developed.
I just hope that Ketch justifies Cobra's faith and loyalty.
BRAVO Cobra! Thanks for sharing your indepth insight as to what's conceivably going on. Personally, as a shareholder in this speculative investment, I found your post refreshing and uplifting.
Let's see if they designate a "co-heart" or an experienced, savvy tech-oriented person that can actually help lead NVEI into a viable tech entity, to that position on the board. That will tell us a lot about the true direction this company is headed.
MWL, if my guess is "on the money", although I would certainly prefer that Cobra's optimism were based on facts, this is better than him knowing Brad well and picking up "negative vibs".
cosmo, I'm thinking about it. Maybe Cobra will help me clarify my thinking process on this.
My guess is that Cobra knows Brad as good or better than almost all other shareholders do and that he's picked up some genuinely "positive vibs" from Brad on NVEI's future. JMO
If this is the case, let's hope Cobra is a great judge of character.
Cobra, if my guess is close, please confirm in a PM.
Cobra and MWL, any speculation as to what the next NVEI PR will pertain to?
I'm ready for some more of those "updates" that Brad mentioned were coming.
Cobra, please PM me if you'd care to elaborate on Alcatel. Were you just kidding or is there a legitimate possibility of an NVEI/Alcatel connection?
What's with the NVEI rally today. Is George W. a shareholder? LOL
MWL, please email me your post #29293. For whatever reason, it didn't appear for me on IHub. Or give me a call.
OT: The RedSox were relaxed, confident, aggressive and well-coached. It was obvious to me what a great job their manager, coaches and scouts did. Their pitchers really seemed to know how to pitch the Cardinals hitters.
OT: Here's what happened to the Cardinals.
When you have quite a few "streaky" hitters (no matter how great they CAN be most of the time), you run the risk of them slumping at the wrong time in a short series. That's exactly what happened. This is why having two GREAT, CONSISTENTstarters going for you in a short series is so essential, regardless of your offensive potential. Remember the Dodgers with Koufax and Drysdale and Arizona with Johnson and Schilling. And three would be a luxury, like the Braves and, I think, the Mets and Orioles have had before.
Come on Brad, let's have a few more of them "updates" you said you thought we'd like. If not, we're probably heading back to single pennies.
Wow!!! That would be "oh so nice!" Groove, please tell us what developments you feel will get NVEI to at least $6, without a buyout, within a year.
My guess is $1.13. It would be fun to get other predictions/guesses.
Cards are better than I thought. Great job!
Hope NVEI is too.
OT Beltran and the Cardinals. I've suggested that maybe the Cardinals should consider pursuing Beltran as opposed to pursuing a #1 starter and Renteria. Morris and his $12mil/year salary will likely be gone. They would need for some young pitchers to come through (they have some excellent prospects) and Luna would would need to hold his own as the starting shortstop.
Can you imagine Beltran and Pujols together in the same lineup for the next six or seven years with both being in their prime?
Just not having to face Beltran may be a huge incentive to pursue him.
OT Beltran and Houston, also, what a hitter's park he would play many games in if he'd resign with Houston. As a Cards fan, I'd much rather see him sign somewhere outside the Central Division.
WHP, to "turn the corner", you have to start somewhere and hopefully, this could be an indication that they have "turned the corner". Admitidly, NVEI must follow this up with "tangible" proof for this this to "hold any water" for shareholders..
WHP, we can only hope that HelloSoft truly does see some potential in NVEI'S tech. Really, I wouldn't think $185Gs would be worth risking their reputation lending their name to a "scam", do you?. My "gut feeling" is, they do actually see something they like and can help them "down the road".
OT ElderWolf, big night for Astros/Cards fans. I'm a big Cards' fan, but have to give the 'Stro's the edge tonite, because of "the Rocket" and Rolen is struggling in the cleanup spot. If I were Garner, I sure wouldn't give Pujols much to hit with a base open and runners in scoring position until Rolen proves he can make better contact again.
I'm stocked up and ready for action. May the best team win. Actually, I'd rather see the Cards win regardless. ha
I wonder how extensively HelloSoft actually evaluated the NVEI tech. Would HelloSoft have got involved with NVEI just for the money?
And shareholders have been left with the "short end of the stick" far too long.
However, I am somewhat encouraged and by this, "From our due diligence on New Visual's technology, we have concluded that they have invented a means to enable local area and wide area networking in a way that is better than we have seen from any other company to date," stated Krishna Yarlagadda, Founder, Chairman & CEO of HelloSoft Inc. "They have created a technology that has the ability to communicate at high speeds in a very noisy environment. This is not an easy problem to solve. We look forward to seeing products in the field with their technology."
Also, HelloSoft, appears to be reputable and has a good "track record".
Just maybe, good things are actually FINALLY coming again for shareholders. It's about time!
This news is certainly better than "nothing at all" or the seemingly "minimal stuff", which has been far to common of late.
If that last sentence would actually materialize, that would be a very good indication that there is significant progress being made. IMO
Cobra, I wish they were on the NVEI Board of Directors. Then I would really be impressed. NVEI could use some more accomplished "tech-types" on their BOD. How many fit that description right now?
zzt says, "Actually, this does sound like good news. Let's see if it pans out".
I sure as heck never thought I'd ever see that revelation.
WHP, it's matter of interpretation, I guess. But this seems to me like Yarlagadda feels "it works" when he states, "From our due diligence on New Visual's technology, we have
concluded that they have invented a means to enable local area and
wide area networking in a way that is better than we have seen from
any other company to date," stated Krishna Yarlagadda, Founder,
Chairman & CEO of HelloSoft Inc. "They have created a technology that
has the ability to communicate at high speeds in a very noisy
environment. This is not an easy problem to solve. We look forward to
seeing products in the field with their technology."
Unfortunately, the lack of positive share price movement after this PR just reinforces how little credibility Ketch and the gang have right now. They MUST deliver something more than "rah-rah stuff" to get this thing going.
I don't think Adaptive had the resources and manpower to get it done fast enough to suit Ketch.
Is it time for a KAAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM?
Will NVEI get reimbursed if Adaptive failed to deliver what they were contracted to produce?
What's with the little spike up this morning?
I think that was "wheels" instead of Cobra that somebody thought was being "used" by Ketch.
