After I typed my post, I then read your discussion. I feel like a complete stup. You can see for all different people, we had our own agenda. You two were smart, always with a plan in store. My plan, was no plan. I wasn't the only one thinking like that either, so I don't feel to/to bad. I learned alot just from reading the two of your posts. I think this board is going to be good. Looking back, there were so many indicators, that could have been looked at closer. The one that I feel was the biggest, was the one we all knew.. The endless dilution that really never ended. In the end.....The run was really over before it started. I know that sounds crazy, but I really think this to be true.
Look forward to more lessons on this board. Thanks for your posts.
You make me look silly. Nice plan. I guess I should of had one.
Hey.. fogive me, I took your post the wrong way. You made some valid points. My bad for jumpen so soon.
Rocket... Great question. I think for me, it was, or shall I say.....
Greed. My account went from months sitting @ 50-60k. Down for months 40-50k. No funds for the last 2 months to average in @ the low, low, low. When it happened, I went from 60k Friday morning to a close @ over 90k. That was the start. Monday well into the 100's. I think about 2-3 weeks into the run...sitting @200-300k. I had finally made it.(so I thought) Rocket. In my life that was the quickest I had tacked on a quarter mil to my account in 3 weeks time, and damit I was going for a million.
The last week before doomsday, my account was a steady 350+ .
To prove my greed theory, I wasn't selling one single dam share.
It just didn't matter. I was Known in my own mind as the founder of XKEM to all friends and family. The day wepeaked and crashed, it came as such a shock, I was in disbelief. For the next several weeks, everyday I watched in horror, knowing full well that....
This is the day we turn. It never came. When all said and done, I knew at that time it was more than likely going to get worse before it got better. By June first I was out completely, most @ .0315-25. The remaining @ .0270-80. After that, there was one more run into early to mid 3's. From there thats all she wrote. Moral of the story lesson of a life time learned in 3-4 weeks time. I had totally thrown all logic out the window from the moment we starte our initial run. Never again.
Ruellit. Always there when you least expect.
Do some dd on your own, and if you feel like this level is out of whack, go invest your money somewhere else. Its that simple. We all know full well what is on the agenda. We all know full well that a company such as this, will incur dept before seeing a profit, and if it really makes you feel better, we all know full well that they had to convert from a/s, to get this far. With that being said, I know what I own, and whether or not that meets your criteria for a solid investment.... I don't know. Last but not least. We have all been around the block once or twice, we all wouldn't be here right now, if we all didn't feel the risk/reward, at this level wasn't quite substantial. Good luck
Correction, longer than all except for Americano. The two mainstays of this board.
I second that.. Huggums has been around this board longer than most.
Zigbee... Good to see you stop by. Don't I know you from somewhere..
Pfrenz... How the hell are you. Do you remember that drunken episode on the RB XKEM board. Haven't had a drink since that rough weekend. I remember you saying something about it. That whole board was out of control. I was so happy for you when I read that you finally got out. I have remained a silent follower, and felt your pain every step of the way. Good to hear your back on track with CKYS. Both you and I learned one hell of a lesson with that experience. I said it then, I'll say it again. I will take that loss to my grave.... No bones about it. GLTY
Ahmen!!
They say learn from your mistakes. Well... Thats why I'm here Howard. I know what my gut feels, and my gut feels like some more IPKL @ this level. The only difference this time, is I intend to put some away, and forget its there. Not all, but some is better than none.
Howard I am more than with you on that. Refer to post 6644. I know this is no Cisco, But what I said in that post is true. in 1992, I was awarded 250k.... My folks had me invest in all different sectors. Good ole Moms told me about Cisco Systems, and said it was going to do real well. I bought the 1400 shares, with only a small portion of what I had. Pull up an historical chart, and find yourself a calculator....and woola. I sold out after making a few grand. Spent it all on building an engin for a 1990 Mustang. Look how much that dam engin is worth now.
After a sleepless night, and having looked into exactly what I had, I can honestly say.......... Ya I think I'll be around in a year.
You have to do something. And your idea sounds like the best way to handle it right now. I've read about 10 different stories in the last week about who has talked to who, and different promises etc......... If you put your plan into effect asap, maybe people new to the board or stock, will see it differently. I have my shares that I bought last week, and still holding, I know a few who are still trying to see through what is really going on. Good luck.
Best post I've read so far. Sounds like a good plan.
Nice. To think how fortunate we really are.
Read my last post and that will tell you how I feel at this moment.
You and me both. Unless the sky were to fall out, I can easily see staying around for that long. Not to say I will have my full position that I have now. I have held stocks that I believe in for several years, as long as they don't remain stag. The one I wished I had held was my original 1,400 shares of cisco systems in late 1992. 7 2for1's & 2 3for2's, would have set me up nice even though CSCO has been a dog for 5 years. Lets say I never touched my original amount, and forgot that I had any at all.
I would have had aprox 315,000 shrs. In 2000 @ its high would have been 25m. Now even as a dog where talking 8m...
Holy #%$$%#%^#$%&^$$!!!!! If hind sight would have spoken to me then. I'm feeling sick even thinking about it.
Monday you should be able to pick up @ 12,13,14... One year from now....If all falls into place, you'll be laughing @ this level.
More time to get the numbers rounded up. Shooting for lucky 26.
Nice lucky round number for the new year.
How do you know. It has been almost 3 weeks. If not monday, sometime in the coming up week. The longer they are there, the more is covered. So it's all good. We are right around the corner however you look at it.
I explained it...I wouldn't say that unless it was somebody else that we both know of. Hes not with us anymore. Thank the lord.
Americano you are mis reading what I said. "That is bs that they passed you up. Meaning, If they passed you up, what they did is BS. Read it over again, and think of it how I just explained it.
I would never post that you or anybody else was full of bs,
unless your Alias was brokerstock. And we all know he can't post anymore, so we know that there is no body talking bs on the IPKL board anymore. Come on man..
Rocket... I learned my biggest lesson on XKEM. I will. and you can quote me on this,...... Never, Ever, do what I did in that play. I held that dam thing for 6 months, only to finally get out holding the bag. I still made out, but not like I or others could have. It's all in learning I guess. When I look back, the only real good shares I sold was maybe a few hundred thousand @ .05(out of 6 million)on the way down. The best part is, I got the rest out, right before she headed below the 03 mark. Many weren't so lucky.
Everyday. "Oh...tomorrow..it's gonna turn around." What a dumbazz i was. Live and learn.
That is bs they passed you up. I sent you a PM.
I have no problem hitting that, I think we see plenty of 0014's next week.
I had a few brush strokes. Looked like a few in there
Have been
LII is getting hit hard on 12's
We will move. Need more volume, that will come.
Very good post
agree.
I am sure that is one of the main topics of discussion. It would more than likely be a unit that was directly linked to the system. Shouldn't be hard for them. Thats they're specialty
They can implement anything into the software.
Same for us in Washington DC. Some of the Verizon holes where almost 60-80 feet deep. And depending on who was involved, gas detection was a big issue. At the Pentegon, post 911, If you went anywhere near a manhole with out sniffer/detection devices, you were history. I think ipmines has already started working this into there systems. We will hear more soon I'm sure.
Brokersock seeya.. nice short ihub carrer
