did the career thing long enough.

up a penny from monday's close...we're rolling
kind of like getting more cheap options?
retirement is getting pushed back again!
i suspect the price drops may have been "coincidental" with the dart and blackrock buys. the stock hasn't been...undervalued...after all.
lafont...
for once I agree with you. the fact that they have increased their position is all that is relevant.
Blackrock is on board
golfho...
thanks...that's the stuff that's keeps me from sleeping through the night far too often
btw
ho ya hittn' 'em?
good point...
very many ugly biotechs today
the low volume with the lousy price is not a bad thing
you won't be hearing about pphm on tv till the price gets over $5...
as far as hearing about being 'in talks' with a potential suitor, we should all pray that any talks in fact leak out....that would be a huge trigger for the share price...and it could have more short term impact on the price than PRs of strong interim results...
we have one ugly chart :/
i still have faith, but, jeez...it sure would be nice if 10 years of this would end one way or the other.
i figure we have a 50% chance of going over 5 within 12 months, and a 75% chance of going under 2.
for you folks who are skeptics/perceived as negative...what do you think the likely upper and lower numbers will be this year? no justifications are necessary for your responses...just give some numbers.. i guess it would be ok for the optimistics to give prognostications, too
might as well play around with this stuff...we're not supposed to have any significant news for a while....
c'mon, cheynew, you're not new here....
frankly, chey, i haven't pulled the trigger yet..... in fact, i think i'll wait till it's under $2 :)
BUYING OPPORTUNITY!
but one of the regular posters says there's no manipulation, kt. the pps doesn't get walked down....
almost time to put 'buy' orders in....
does anybody want to know how much i had/sold, bought again, took profits on, averaged down, bailed out of, and bought back at a fraction of what it's at now?
it seems to me that after all these years waiting and going through the manipulations (oh...sorry! i should have said "the market forces!"), i might as well stay put so i don't miss the big pop if it ever happens. seems to me that downside risk is minimal anyhow at this point compared to upside...
smokings guns have largely been fired, that's all I'm saying...
i do expect that we'll go up and back down and back up. eventually, maybe up, up. hope so.
plenty of posters referenced 2.50 as the target for today. ultimately, it was pulled back there. look at the tape. nobody is making that up. as i heard somebody say today, we'd have been better off it the FBI had rounded up 127 wall street players than 127 mobsters...the moral benefit would have had bigger implications.
some kinds of manipulation are legal, some aren't. your rooting interest only depends on which side of the trade you're on.

Ha! i stopped the plunge by putting in a couple of limit orders below today's lows so far.
you're welcome!
if it can hold in the 2.80s i'll be thrilled
what you don't understand is that if it gets to $5, we won't need PR. the analysts will handle it
by far, the best thing about getting to $5 would be the ability of cnbc and many funds with restrictions on dealing with sub-5s to get the story out to more people... almost every bio that's gone parabolic took off after getting the media spotlight when they hit 5 bucks
3.30 would have been nice today... am i being greedy?
Jake!!!!! something maybe positive from jake????
he referred to harvard medical school in the email, which is on Longwood in boston
ain't no way on earth somebody is buying this thing for $46/share (3 billion market cap) when it's under $3 now. get real.
some are being a bit euphoric.
expectations that this stock will make everyone rich and cure cancer is not logical.
i hope both happen, but i'll be ecstatic with a bit of both at this point in time.
i suggest loading up on dips. this stock will probably go up to 5 and back to 1.50, and then repeat. as i have said before...be careful, be smart/informed, pay attention, and never be out of this stock all together...you can't afford to miss an upside explosion, however short-lived it may or may not be... gotta be in it if it runs...
let's not get carried away with share prices, folks...
this drug enhances others' effectiveness...doesn't necessarily set the world on fire by itself...
i'd be very pleased with 1-2 billion dollar market cap after a hysterical run-up would pull back.
after more dilution, $15-25 per share would be reasonable to me
$10 more to retirement
slicken...where does it say they're selling it all now, at the current price?
am i mistaken, or we in the $1.60s 10 days ago?
very unlikely this week
it's a good bet that since Dart's investment is out in the open now, the price isn't being "managed" below where it should be relative to it's real value any more. i suspect that the swoon was due to his buy orders, and now that it's out of the way, we could see an easy return to the level we were at at split-time...
merry Christmas, indeed
we're watching unregulated capitalism at its finest today
oh, that last move was SWEET
