Any day NOW... Don't be a chaser...................
JV when you least expect it.
Its how this company is.
How do I know??????????
I just do!!!!!!
OT just sent.
Just wait it will. Word is closer than you think. Kanno told Dave, they could get word anyday now, that JV is a done deal. He can't say anything, because China is China. The PR pretty much lays it out, it is in Chinas hands. It will catch many off gaurd.
Yes Howard. FTG, what other PR?
I will
Look what there asking.

I called Mr. Kanno today and had a good conversation with him. He said that everything is on schedule as best as it can be. He said the Chinese and North Americans think and make deals and make contracts quite differently. That makes sense after all we are a world apart. Mr. Kanno said that every i must be dotted and every t must be crossed by both ipkl and the Chinese. Neither party wants any stones left unturned which could present problems in the future if even years from now. This is why there has been a delay in the JV coming together however it is very close to being finalized and signed so that the equipment can be placed in the mines and be fully operational. My guess is maybe three weeks but could be sooner or later. Something very interesting he said was that when there is a mine disaster the mine operator is held responsible and ends up being punished for the disaster. Consequently the mine operators are begging for the equipment. There are many mine operators in jail and many are fugitives. That means we have a captive audience and a very eager one at that. On the dilution topic he is not happy with it either but until there is revenue it is a necessary part of the business. I think revenues will start when the certification and JV are signed because I bet all the mine operators are watching this too. I believe that the equipment has been tested and is fully functional. I think once its approved there will be a mad scramble by mine operators like ants on sugar syrup. Patience is the name of the game. Any day could be the day so every day that goes by we are one more day closer to the JV and certification. For those that don't have the patience or stomach for the ups and downs the best thing you can do is sell your shares and put it in a 5% CD and pay little taxes on the meager interest earned. For the patient shareholders hang on stay aboard and laugh paying taxes on huge profits in six months or 3 months or even one month. Profits and huge profits are on the way for the strong-of-heart holders. JMHO GLTA

iPackets International, Inc. ("iPackets") (PINKSHEETS: IPKL), a developer and provider of wireless communications software and equipment for the mining industry, is pleased to provide a progress update on its Joint Venture ("JV") in China.
From November 4 - 18, 2006, iPackets concluded a series of very productive business and technical meetings in China with its JV partners, China Coal Information Institute ("CCII"), and Henan YongAn Investment Guarantee Co. ("YongAn"). The iPackets team consisted of Mr. Naiel Kanno, iPackets' President and CEO, Mr. Kouros Goodarzi, iPackets' VP of Engineering, Mr. Frank Chen, member of iPackets' Board of Directors, and Mr Hui Wang, iPackets' China-based business development representative.
On the business side, the JV partners have hired senior executives with strong expertise in JV set-up and operational management. The discussions amongst the three JV parties focused on concluding the JV agreement which will be submitted to the Sino-Foreign JV Business Registration Office for the establishment of the JV. The JV partners also discussed and prepared an action plan and preliminary budget for the manufacturing process, product certification and establishing the sales and marketing channels in China. In addition, the JV partners are in discussions with a number of mining operations who have expressed interest in deploying iPackets' iPMine mine-safety system.
During the technical meetings, the JV team met with the director and high-ranking officials of the China Mining Products Safety Approval and Certification Center, referred to as the MA office, located in Beijing. The MA Office is a division of the China Coal Research Institute ("CCRI") that handles certification of devices and systems to be used in China coal mines under the auspices of the State Administration for Worker Safety (SAWS). The group discussion focused on the commencement of the iPMine product certification. The MA Office officials confirmed the need for a system such as the iPMine product with its unique capabilities. To that end, iPackets provided its JV partners with the required technical documentation to fast-track the product certification application process.
Mr. Kanno commented: "We achieved a number of milestones and a significant progress was made towards the establishment and operation of the JV." He added, "We are very happy with the level of commitment we saw from our partners, and specifically the allocation of dedicated resources and new hiring of senior executives to handle the JV establishment. CCII has also been instrumental in building up the required network to facilitate the certification and also lining up mining operations as early adopters of our state-of-the-art technology."
Kouros Goodarzi, Vice president of Engineering of iPackets, summarized the results of the trip as, "The discussions were focused on speeding up the process to penetrate the market as soon as possible. This includes commitment from all sides to handle their part of the activities required to start the first deployment. We have invested a lot in our technology and we are well positioned to capture the market as a leader. The trip ensured we have a direct and efficient procedure in place to make that happen."

A little birdy told me that when JV is signed, which could be at any time.... Systems are much closer for install than many realize.
Once JV is inked, we could be golden my friends.
I know I accumulated a little more. X that by many that did.
I think a few big dumps early, and then accumulation the rest of the day.
8095 A MUST READ... Thanks DAVE
You need to have foresight with this one.
If you don't look a little down the road,
You miss the bigger picture.
Anytime cross trades take place
you know something is in the works.
Thats what the after hours trades were.
Still way oversold..
Good thing we are
a few that realize
IPKL'S full potential

Could be because of the large buy at the end. It just set it up that way. I don't think 6.2 would have been filled at 0011.
So now ask is 0012.
May have been paint, but 6.2 million shares worth.
A close @ 0012 on 6.2 million holy!!!
Onefreedude. To prove my point on IPKL doing the opposite of all other stocks... We get positive update. Volume increases triple fold. Message board reads and posts, hits into the top categories.
To top it all off, Nobody to really sell for a profit. And we sit in neutral.
The PR was issued, just came out later than the website. The pr firm had a problem with getting it out.
I still think this thing ends up taking off when more people are pissed off, and at the least likely moment. Just like everything else with this stock, it does the exact opposite.
Or at least find out the cash situation until JV. I doubt they get to much into financials with callers though.
You mean like not moving? or spread?
It is don't buy a beaten down stock on rumor,
and sell for a loss on a good China update.
Thats the new policy.LOL
Nice post Dave. With you all the way.
Well one thing for sure. The News update may not have increased pps, but it has moved us to #8 on the hot boards list. Hell, Maybe next time, we can move up a slot or two or three.....Maybe we even get in the top 33333333333333333333333333333
Never before have I seen the most ridiculous sell off, on a simple update, that we all knew was coming. Everybody knew full well that we were not going to hear JV was signed. What did people want to hear........That ipmine was going to be installed for NASA'S NEW
mining efforts on the unexplored caves on Mars??? Never seen investing logic such as this.LOLOLOLOLO
Just got back in. Is the panic sell over a positive update over yet??????????????
A panic sell on a positive update.
Thats it. Nothing more nothing less..
2-3 weeks from now we'll be laughing.
All that paniced @ 0008-0009.
will be kicking them selves in short time.
I think some didn't hear what they needed, and moved on.
