Maybe they are telling us to be cautious because they are going to do a massive reverse split (which they said they would not do, but have done before).
Yes, it is impossible to tell how these other entities are connected to FFGO without seeing the Stockholders Agreements and other private documents. It would be nice if FFGO would tell us how these other companies are related to our FFGO (if at all). What we DON'T want to have happen is for any valuable assets to be shuffled off to other entities that FFGO has no real interest in (but which are owned by the individual players). I am very curious about this publicly traded US gold company from the most recent PR. If this other company is somehow already related to FFGO via common ownership or affiliation, then the mysterious $800 mil in stock value supposedly coming to FFGO due to the sale of Bouse and South Copperstone may be a mirage. This whole thing appears to be a somewhat complex intermingled corporate structure. They have really only given half of the needed info. to common shareholders. But there is just enough here to keep me interested!
Yep. I posted links to that stuff a week or two ago. Florida Secretary of State's web site lets you search by a person's name (so you can search all of the main cast of characters). Also, try the Wyoming Secretary of State's web site. That's where you'll find details on FFGO. I also checked NY and NJ but did not find anything. Then I started digging in the Bahamas. All I could find out was that the P.O. Box listed in the Bahamas is actually just a MailBoxes, Etc. drop off location. The "Suite" number is simply to indicate the MailBoxes, Etc. customer's ID apparently.
This statement from the most recent PR is very interesting to me:
"It is expected that previously announced exchange of Fortress Financial Group, Inc.'s stockholdings in its remaining two unquoted Gold Mining Exploration assets, namely "Bouse" and "South Copperstone," for stock in a USA Quoted Gold Mining & Exploration Company, will be completed very shortly. Fortress will receive circa US$800million in this Company's quoted stock."
Is FFGO really expecting to get $800 mil of value in shares in some other mining company?? Are these two properties really worth that much?? I guess it is hypothectically possible (if these properties turned up awesome sample results in today's metals market). I think we've established that an FFGO subsidiary owns/owned Bouse and South Copperstone, right? That is good. My questions now are WHO is this other company and HOW are they coming up with an estimate of $800 mil in stock value being transferred to FFGO? If true, this is literally insane! That would mean that just based on the $800 mil in anticipated value from this exchange, the approx. 2.5 billion shares of FFGO issued and trading would bring a value of around $.32 per share for FFGO. Mind boggling. But OK, we'll see if this deal gets completed. All just my opinion and theorizing of course....
I bought my 5 mil shares through Scottrade this afternoon at .0001. The order went through immediately.
Probably you will end up with way less shares of the new stock due to a reverse split. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the correct number of shares to reflect in your account (even though the new price of 25 cents is already reflected). You will probably not be able to trade it until the reverse split number of shares AND new price are both reflected in your account. Bottom line - you probably did not make a whole bunch of $$ overnight. This has happened to me a couple times. If I'm wrong, congrats to you!
Bought 5 mil this afternoon at .0001. Going to hold and see what happens. I like the nurse staffing business - lots of growth potential there.
Well, all of that sounds very exciting to me (even if it is a bit of pumping going on). I'm still holding my shares. Can't wait to see the new websites. No point in being cynical about this stock right now IMO.
New here. Saw this one on volume screen. Looks interesting to me and the price is right. They actually have a revenue stream it appears - big plus in the Pinkies! Might tip toe into this one on Monday at .0001. The Encore franchising thing looks way more promising than anything else they have going on. All my opinion of course...
Bouse and South Copperstone. This is a re-post from recent post on Yahoo board noting that these properties had sold. Hmmm....... Check it out.
http://www.mcintyrebaumangroup.com/mcb_projects_gold_silver.htm
That is awesome! Been there. The worst is waiting for the damn lab results to come back. Good to hear the coin flipped in your favor. Situations like that can really reshape a person's risk tolerance!
Silver, thanks for finally pointing out the negativity here!! Yes, this board is really negative on FFGO. I am personally not concered with the past entities and problems that much. I'm much more focused on what FFGO can do in the here and now. Funny thing is, if FFGO all of a sudden shot up to .0009 (for whatever reason) all the negativity here would immediately turn into cheerleading. I am hopeful for this stock. If I was not, I would not own 10 million shares right now.
Anyone try the websites lately? I can't seem to get either of these to work now:
www.fortresscards.com
www.fortressfinance.biz
More Questions Than Answers......
1.) What is "Trinity Consumer Finance, Inc." and how is it tied to FFGO (if at all)? Who is Elwood Sprenger? See the link below to Florida corp. filings and search for this entity.
http://www.sunbiz.org/corinam.html
2.) What is "Fortress Card Solutions, Inc." and how is it tied to FFGO (if at all)? See link to Wyoming corp. filings below:
https://wyobiz.wy.gov/Ecommerce/Common/FilingDetail.aspx?FilingNum=2007-000544587
3.) Why does "Fortress Financial Group. Inc." have 5 TRILLION (yes, TRILLION) shares authorized? See link below:
https://wyobiz.wy.gov/Ecommerce/Common/FilingDetail.aspx?FilingNum=2003-000459064
Great. Thanks.
Anyone know where "Fortress Financial Group, Inc." (formerly Great West Gold, etc.) is supposedly formed and qualified as a corporation? I am not finding anything in Florida under the Fortress name that appears related to FFGO. Considering ordering a full set of corporate documents to see if I can untangle it in my spare time...
Damn, crazy volume today. But how can this be with no bid? And where are all the shares coming from? And the ask at .0002? This makes no sense. I have given up trying to understand the daily trading on this thing.
Thanks for advice. I've only been here a few weeks and have been catching up on the history. Only have $1,000 in it and don't plan on buying ANY more unless "something" good (and verifiable) happens. I just have a gut feeling FFGO could pop. Not sure why. Sometimes these gut feelings have paid off well - sometimes not so well. We shall see...
Well, I'm glad you bought some FFGO - but don't expect any movement in the share price soon IMO. I was excited about my position in FFGO and then I realized this thing is stuck at .0001 for a while. Personally, I will get a "Fortress Financial Group" tattoo if this stock goes to 2-3 cents.
After reading the couple new links and thinking about it for a few minutes, I think I may have figured out what FFGO is trying to do here and where the "value added" lies. If I'm right, this is actually very cool. Again, this is just my shot in the dark. I think that the ultimate product they are shooting for is a debit card that can be used internationally on the standard Visa/MC platform but which CANNOT BE TRACED through the US banking system back to the end user? Meaning that Gov. Spitzer could have charged his hookers on this card and not be tracked down via his payment method. Something like that at least.... Again, all just my opinion and theorizing.
Thanks for the new info. Well, this is something I guess! Taking a quick look at the links, I am trying to figure out what "value" Fortress is adding to the product already offered directly by Ready Debit. Is this just a rebranding thing? Well, I suppose it is a start! And the website finally has some functionality to it. Thanks and keep up these nice updates.
How many companies do these guys run? It appears that St. James (which appears to be Lumb's master holding company) used to be known as Nutrimax? However, it also appears that Nutrimax still exists and has Alan Santini listed as the UK contact?? How FFGO fits into this whole structure I have no clue. Deeper down the rabbit hole....
http://warthog.co.za/nutrimax/contact_uk.htm
Wow. I had heard bits and pieces of the CMKM mess. I had no idea how much money they scammed off investors to fund the scammers "lifestyles". Glad to see that SEC is cracking down on such situations now....including lawyers, accoutants, etc. and EVERYONE involved in perpetuating the penny stock scheme (who obviously knew better).
I did see that one in my DD. Not sure it is the same company as our FFGO.
Even More on Stephen Lumb:
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/news/article.html?in_article_id=407869&in_page_id=2
More Info. on Stephen Lumb. From "thisismoney.co.uk" website posted on 8/5/07. Just re-posting this news bit verbatim.
"Bully boy and self-proclaimed billionaire Stephen Lumb has been banned from acting as a company director for the next three years after his conviction for Companies Act offences. In 2005 I reported that after he took control of mining company Hanover Capital Group, Lumb failed to produce accounts or shareholder records and the shares were delisted from the Aim market. A year later, Financial Mail exposed Lumb's bullying behaviour when one of his 7,000 shareholders tried to find what had happened to his money. Lumb told him: 'You little people fail to realise that people such as myself do not care about you or your lives.'
And he warned: 'I consider you a target and therefore expendable.' Lumb is banned from boardrooms until July 2010."
Does this "GoldCo" even exist? Why not name the company? Perhaps because if they named the company (again, if it exists) we'd be able to do actual due diligence on it and determine that this $800 million valuation of FFGO's minority interest is total pie in the sky? Could that be it? I try to remain positive here, but this PR takes the cake. All my opinion of course...
IMO, all should be forgiven if these guys can get the stock price to start going up soon. I really don't care how they do it. Just my personal take. Holding 10 million shares now and will wait to see what happens here...
Yep. Of all the names involved, it sounds like Lumb is the one who could be pulling the strings here.
Yes, Googling Stephen Lumb results in a few, um......interesting stories it appears. IMO nobody should put more more than a few hundred or a thousand into FFGO at this price. Based on Lumb's apparent track record this stock could either result in virtual total loss of investment to common shareholders or rapidly skyrocket to an insane level for no reason. If the latter should ever occur, I hope we can all pull the trigger fast enough! Very interesting sounding guy.....recently bought a castle. All my opinion of course.
That is great news! LOL!! Nice Photoshop job!
Thanks. I'll check out the link.
Has anyone tried buying at UNDER .0001? I seem to remember reading that it is sometimes possible.
Still looking good here! I added a little to my long position on Friday. BX may be getting some positive publicity associated with the Yahoo/Microsoft negotiations since they are representing Microsoft in the deal making I think?
More DD. Some more info. regarding leaders of FFGO. Not much direct info. to speak of floating around the internet on Santini and Bezzano. But if you dig a little......
Bezzano: "Mr. Peter J. Bezzano is a Solicitor (Attorney) in the United Kingdom and is the Chief Counsel to the St. James Capital Holdings, Inc. Group." [Pulled from GWGO news release from 2006.] This link has some info. on St. James. Sort of encouraging here IMO.... The home page for St. James is not working right now - but the link is included in the link below.
http://openpr.com/news/2027/direct-St-James-Capital-Holdings-Inc-Substantial-Investment-in-Growthvest-plc.html
Santini: Has a skeleton MySpace page. Was this guy a model or something? Has a lot of hot female friends apparently. And he is young (28). Appears that Santini is the charismatic "face man" for the company.
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=79565916
I'll update when I find more info. on any of the players here.
Thanks! That is awesome DD. Actually explains a lot of conflicting numbers I read regarding share structure in a very positive way. If true, issued shares at approx. 2.5 billion are not nearly as high as I thought. With that share structure, IMO this stock could climb to 2-3 cents in short order given some positive news, operating website, and hard facts regarding company's actual progress! All my opinion of course....
I agree. The fundamental business concept here is cool. That counts for something!
Wow. Some activity here! We are now CPPD? I really think they need to do a 50,000:1 SPLIT to get me back to my original holding of 25 million shares (of QBID crap). I did really like owning 25 million of something. Also, they need to ditch this movie/production business model. Nobody CARES or wants to speculate in that line of business! I'd like to see us emerge as a gold mining company. They need to buy a gold mine....or something more interesting. All my opinion only.
Thanks. Since my buy in price is .0001, I have yet to run into the opportunity to "lock in profits" through this system. LOL! But I for one will keep it in mind.
Definition of "Heads of Agreement". I was curious about this from the last PR because I had never heard the term either. Sounds like the same thing as an LOI (Letter of Intent) perhaps...
"Heads of Agreement - A non-binding document outlining the main issues relevant to a tentative partnership agreement.
