I think the operative term was "additional people". That implies people other than the "we've" that you refer to.
Apparently we are in this boat alone for the time being and either we are going to have to bail at some point or additional people are gonna want to jump in for the ride.
Which will it be.............
We are waiting for you to show us your compas Howard. Are you stearing us to profits or are we on a very slow rickety boat headed for heavy waters struggling to reach dry land?
WHICH IS IT MAN, ENOUGH WITH THE SILENCE!!!!!!!!
Great, I might look into the next game.
Hey, how do you get in on this game?
Ken, did you get my PM? Not trying to push you, take your time. I just wanted to make sure you got it, and it did not get lost in a pile of PMs. I'm sure you get overloaded with communications, I try not to bug you too much.
Welcome back.
I hope (there's that DREADED wrod, LOL) this turns out OK for us.
Hell, maybe it will even turn out better than OK ;>).
I've still got my fingers crossed that Howard has been working on something impressive while he has been "vacationing" and that Dato is not upset with the company.
Market Makers, they are the institutions/brokerage house arms that make the market for the stocks that are trading. They do the buying and selling of the stock to/from other MMs. You place your order, and your brokerage firm sends it to the MM to get it executed in the market. They are identified by their 4-letter code that you see by the bid and ask on Level II.
For a little bit of info on how they work, go read post #14257.
However, I should mention that on the NY exchange (and I think the AMEX - someone correct me, if I am wrong), you have Specialists that handle making the market and it works a bit different.
Damn!!! This is a sad disappointment to come back to. I really expected this to close higher today. This thing is quickly starting to become a real DOG.
Looks like you are getting your spinning top candle today, Lucy.
No, change that, it is a Doji, isn't it. Hopefully, one of mrcopfer's reversal crossbars.
I gotta head out.
Here's a prediction, for fun:
If it is above .072 at 3:30 EST today, it will close at .077 or higher.
Actually, at this point in time, I think that that will be the scenario at 3:30 (price will be above .072) because, like I said yesterday, with having a hammer candle forming, it indicated a bullish reversal. Again, how strong and definite the reversal will be, depends entirely on what Howard is doing to/for us right now and in the upcoming days.
Start communicating Mr. H.!!!, SOON!!!!
Sorry, Lucy, from what I understand, that is definitely NOT a spinning top candle yesterday. A spinning top has a long upper shadow also. Yesterday's candle only had a long lower shadow. That makes yesterday's candle a hammer - a better candle to have down here, LOL.
I keep seeing this "COGS numbers".
Could you please tell me what "COGS" stands for?
First let me say, I know minimal about TA. I am trying to learn though. From what little I have been putting together, I see 5 down days with a hammer on this last day which, if I recall, that is a bullish reversal candle. I'm not happy with the indicators at all, all pointing in a pretty bearish direction, however, I will make a stab at a prediction. I think we start a timid reversal here, with tomorrow being an up day, and tendancies to make an effort at higher prices on into next week (depending on how much those who keep diluting us are going to continue to pull money out, and whether they decide to drop us to the 200dMA or lower). The attempts at working for an upward trend will struggle until the great vacationing Howard decides to let us in on WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE.
First and foremost, I want him to explain why all the money is flowing out of this stock on a very consistent basis. Who the hell is diluting us? He knows where it is going. If he doesn't, then he is an awful businessman who has no idea how to keep track of the company's treasury of stock, which is just as important as any contract in whether the business will be able to survive or not. As shareholders, it is time for us to start demanding some answers about what is happening with selling of the company stock and quit letting Howard play mind games with float is this, now it is that, OS is so and so.
The only float that matters is the shares that are LEGALLY TIED UP by being RESTRICTED so that they CANNOT be LEGALLY sold regardless of whether someone decides to move, resign, get a divorce, has a bad hair day and decides they want to buy a yacht to make them feel more attractive, WHATEVER!!!! All this "friends and family" stuff is irrelevant in business. Yes, it is nice to know their TENDANCIES and INTENTIONS to hold, but tendancies and intentions can change at a whim. Get real people, this is a dog eat dog business world we are putting our money at risk here, not a world of I'll hold your hand and your shares if it will make you happy.
If we are being diluted ILLEGALLY, then Howard should be on the phone night and day, figuring out who is doing what and seeing what can be done to stop it, and then inform the shareholders what the challenges are. Don't give us endless excuses and scenarios about market dynamics and blah, blah, blah; just tell us straight out, yes, I have evidence that such and such is happening to short our shares, or happening to sell shares illegally and I can't do much about it,
or I can do A, B, C to try and stop it.
I should have listened to Whiz when he said "Something is not right here", Or, as the pumpers like to do to diminish any warnings with humiliation-inducing insults like "Something is vewwy vewwy, wong here" Tell me, how do any of those insults help us here?
Well, hells bells, what do you know? That obnoxious Whiz was right!!!!
No matter how much the pumpers care to put down the warnings, the warnings were more informative and helpful than anything the pumpers provided. At least their message to exit the stock as soon as possible was the right choice.
Again, the cautious people were right!
OK, my rant is over for the time being - but I am one unhappy camper!!!
Read that again, Lucy, SLOWLY. And read every word, especially the two letter word "or" in the conditions of the entitlement to repurchase twenty percent (20%) of the member interests of CPS owned by CHDT.
Wording is EVERYTHING.
Dato resigning from board to devote full attention to CPS.

Hell!!! I regret holding!!!, LOL.
I think the chances are much better on regretting selling than this mess of regretting that you held.
I'd much rather regret selling and having booked some profits, but at least it's a sure thing, than regretting holding and watching profits turn into losses, along with all the uncertainty about whether we will see profts again anywhere in the near future.
Duffy, This is one long that greatly appreciates your keeping our minds out of the clouds here.
I also appreciate RJ's great posts of POSSIBLE POTENTIAL, (but we cannot hang our hats on those until the numbers hit the streets), MJbommar's and Mrcopfer's posts regarding technical issues and company strengths, Dart's charts and now 4God's charts, and so many other longs' and not-so-longs' posts.
Posts like yours make us reflect back and keep in mind the totality of what we are invested in. It is good to have a bit of lead tied to our toes to keep our feet on the ground. Thanks.
Helps a lot!!! Thanks for the explanation.
Now, I have read the links that explain the way A/D and CMI are calculated and how there can be discrepencies from reality by the way gaps are left out of the calculations; However, I still have concerns about the continuously negative CMF.
I cannot believe that the gaps we had can account for how extremely negative the CMF has remained on a continual basis. This scares me quite a bit. Can you offer any education on this situation that can explain how this negative CMF should not be of such a concern? It needs to be pretty overwhelming information to overcome how negative our CMF has been and to convice some of us this is not an underlying unknown issue affecting the longterm shareprice appreciation potential.
I have to totally agree with you on this. EVERY time I see that posted, I have to think of the many, MANY stocks I have been in that were BAD, HORRID, did nothing but go down month after month after month with one day spikes, and then month after month of dowtrends, continually hitting lower lows, and 52 week lows, year after year. AND then some idiot posts, heck we have bashers and we know "bashers never bash a bad stock", or they post that bashers' handbook or something like the list of things bashers do and don't do, and one of the first things in it is that "BASHERS NEVER BASH A BAD STOCK".
All I can think, EVERY TIME I SEE THAT STATEMENT is, WHAT? I see bashers spending loads of time on BAD, HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS stocks all the time. Wake up people!
Bashers bash all kinds of stock, both good and bad, and that statement is total nonsense! I wish hopeful pumpers would just quit with that totally absurd statement.
People have differing opinions about the stock's potential. Some are positive and some are negative. Leave it to others to have access to the information, thoughts and opinions so that they can make their own decisions about how they want to best invest their monies. And get some scruples and quit falling back on an oviously totally erroneous, over-quoted statement.
OT;
Ohhhhh, you have let the Ghauri brothers get under your skin just a bit too much, don'tcha think, loL.
If they can make 50 cents a tile (and they should do better than that) they will
make 10 million this year on tile alone.
Howard already said in the last interview that the tiles were going to bring in 100% mark-up for profits. So, with each tile selling for $2.50, that is profits of $1.25 per tile.
He said they would ship 2.5MM tiles a month, so ASSUMING THAT ALL THESE SELL each month, that is $2.5MM profit each month from tiles.
But I stay conservative, for safety sake, until I see numbers that tell us that these tiles are in fact selling. When we see that, my numbers will go up big time.
But that is the NEXT set of generators, not the ones they are selling now through Home Depot. They are still selling the generators through Home Depot, of which they book 100% of the revs and 51% of the profits. Those brought in $11MM in revs the first 6 months, so I expect at LEAST $22MM in revs, plus the tiles, I'm SURE they would add at least a few $MM and then the new suvbsidiaries(franchises) selling the CURRENT generators in two new counties in Florida, I'm sure that willadd a couple $MM, so I am banking on at least about $30MM in revs for 2006.
Now, I do not think 3 x sales is unrealistic, so at a minimum, I see a market cap of $90MM, and this is quite conservative, which I feel is necessary because, after all, we are just talking about projections and anything can happen with "potential".
Gotta go, I'd do more of the actual numbers if I had the time, these are just off the top of my head thoughts.
Kids need some time.
Good luck, guys.
I have no idea, other than Moxy's suggestion, as to how to figure out those numbers. I am still of the mindset that, heck, it has been only a week. We have to have had enough confidence after we saw the most recent historic performance, to have invested here in the first place. I figure that we should have the patience to wait a few weeks or a month or so to see those first sales numbers, assuming we have the confidence from what we have seen up to this point. You may not be there yet, and you may not have decided to buy yet, but some of us have and are willing to wait for that information. We are betting that we will be in at a cheaper price and will have the benefit of watching as price appreciates up to the release of that information.
Yes, I certainly would like to see those numbers ASAP, but when investing in a business, you kind of have no choice but to look at the history, the projections, the new potential for items they have talked about, and make a decision when you feel that those offer enough information to be comfortable enough to park your money on this company.
Sorry, that's all I have to offer on the sales figure.
These are questions that have been addressed over and over. I do not have the links, but if you read the MB you can easily find them.
Can anyone figure out why all the pr's and nothing can be confirmed, on sales, purchase orders, have they had any? from anyone for roof tiles.
They have only been allowed to sell tiles EVERYWHERE in the US for ONE (1) week. Talk about impatient investors! - let them get some decent amounts of sales accomplished so that the numbers actually MEAN something before putting out numbers.
as well as generators etc.
There are numerous posts about this, with links - they are back a few weeks, but go back and search, or some of the posters that keep posting this may oblige you.
What is the issue with..the UL,approval which they do not have yet, does anyone know????. amazing.!!
Addressed in pretty good detail yesterday. Read all of yesterday's posts, not THAT many, and you will find your answers to this one.
Then come back and ask us some NEW questions that have not already been answered on the board, or even some old ones, and we will be happy to direct you to where the answers are as much as we can remember.
Thanks Steve, that is nice to see.
I was typing my concerns when you posted that.
BUT, I still want to see CMF go positive.
Could this extra 100MM shares be that nagging answer to the CMF that continues to stay negative? I still do not get how so much money can be flowing out of this stock CONSTANTLY, with the share price appreciation that has occurred. This is and always has been my biggest concern, because it indicates that SOMETHING is going on behind the scenes and we cannot figure out what.
I know, I've read all the information about situations and gaps etc., not being accounted for in Acc/Distr and CMF, but this has been soooooo consistent and the negative Acc/Dist line has been sooooo consistent, that I do not think that answers all of this. I do not think we can downplay all this negative CMF as a "Discrepency". There is some reason Money Flow is having such a hard time turning positive, and I am of the opinion that when that is taken care of, is when this stock will take off BIG TIME!!!
That is, IF that is taken care of.
Why can't all this great DD uncover some answers as to why Money Flow keeps flowing OUT of this stock rather than into it?
This is a concern that shareholders need to have Howard answer, because I think he knows what is causing this pattern here. He may not know charting, etc., But he certainly does know how investment monies are affecting his company and who is drawing funds from the investment pool.
And mine is Charlie.
Good lick, you guys. Watching from the sidelines right now.
So, you are of the opinion that these will readily sell without UL approval? It is NOT the only option for a generator out there. They don't have to roast to death and starve, just choose to buy a different generator, one that is UL approved.
I don't know about others but I would NOT buy a generator or any electrical appliance without it being UL approved. Too much at risk. UL approval tells me that it is safe to hook up to my appliances, Not-UL-approved tells me my appliance is at risk and it could have electrical problems and my house could go up in an electrical fire.
This is from a lay perspective, but one of the first things I look for when I buy something electrical is that UL approval sticker. Now, some of you may know better than I, about how much interest there would be for non-UL-approved items, but from my perspective, I would think they would be hard pressed to sell many of those generators in the U.S. without that UL sticker.
Appreciate the update Sentinel.
This is pretty big. We will not be able to sell these little generators for quite some time, it appears, since they have not even found the parts yet to satisfy UL approval.
Are these the propane generators?
Whiz, did you get my PM?
Now, do you understand?
How about a PM.
I can easily do that here, and I can avoid that e-mail plague.
IF I may, I THINK Whiz is more concerned about the responsibility to friends whom he pumped this to. With Whiz's buy-in prices, he is doing JUST FINE. I'm sure, like the rest of us, he would have rather banked more of those profits in the .20s rather than holding a lot less profits now.
Whiz, you need not worry or feel any responsibility for those who bought on your recommendations, we are all grown ups in the market and have to accept our own decisions. Just get that bottle of champaigne when it arrives, after CHDT has appreciated in share price again, and relax with your loved ones.
I am SHOCKED at your post, for two reasons, and neither have anything to do with CHDT.
You are a changin, DUDE!

Thanks for all the excellent information, Mrcopfer. Very informative, and appreciate you taking the time to educate us.
Now, on AAGM, what are the potential next moves when you are "still looking for volume"?
Does this imply (to a trained chart reader) that the move has not really started and the bigger move is just getting set up, or does it imply that the move is just not strong enough, and you better stay on guard for a possible quick downturn? Or of course, something alse that I am not even thinking about, LOL.
I'm not interested in the stock, AAGM, here (I'm pretty much dancing with CHDT) but I am just trying to learn as much as I can from you guys who know how to read the finer inuendos that a skilled chartist can see in the undercurrents of the charts.
Thanks for the explanations.
Oh, OK I thought I had gotten the updated templates. Must have gotten them crossed somewhere. Sorry for the mix up.
Checking a stock.
I'm expecting $5MM+ for generators. No tile #s there obviously, tiles did't start selling until the third quarter.
My question is; Does anyone have any comparables for P/sales ratios that are common in this sector?
How do you update a chart to the SharpCharts 2?
I was using the Ultimate Set up template.
Just checking out a new stock:
I think I'll pass.
