Okay.. On this 0 Volume Friday as we may label it now,
Is anybody out there game enough to hit the ask.
Morning Americano. Little slow today.
Might not come up, but has to do with China.

Shane it doesn't matter to me when they announce it. The JV is happening, and I think 007 is going to be a great year for IPKL.
I still think announcement happens before Christmas. They wouldn't have issued the PR that they did, if JV wasn't about wrapped up. Call Kanno, it could be today, and you'd be the first to find out.
How do know that. They already said a ceremony wasn't necessay until the new year. They don't have to be in China for JV to become reality.
Slow as balls.
The Question is, how long after signing, will contracts be in hand. We know once this happens, down payments for ipmine installs may start flowing in right @ the break of 07.
Manufacture is in forward motion. Just because facility isn't up, don't think they haven't been planning for when the day has come.
If people sell on the JV news from this level,
then I guess, this will be a longer hold than I had expected.
IPKL @ this pps is to low with JV/contracts in China.
2007..........which is less than a month away, is looking to be a pretty decent year. I'm betting we go up.
I say sooner than that. Sometime over the weekend.
Refresher course for those New to the pickle
Ventures/Investments
• iPackets International, Inc. (IPKL.PK) a global developer and provider of wireless and communications solutions for the mine-safety industry, announced its signing of a Letter of Intent to establish a Chinese Joint Venture with China Coal Information Institute [CCII] and Henan YongAn Investment Guarantee Co. (YongAn). The joint venture will be responsible for the manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, installation, deployment, and support of iPackets' iPMine solution to the mining industry in China. The operation will be based in the province of Henan, China's second largest coal producing province. According to the agreement, YongAn will provide funding of up to US$50 million to the venture, and over 10,000 square meters of land to build and outfit a world-class manufacturing facility in Henan. Under the deal, CCII will provide professional services including product certification, sales and marketing, technical support, and market intelligence. iPackets will provide technology intellectual property, continued product development, technology direction, and technical knowledge transfer. The agreement is expected to be finalized in two months. China Coal Information Institute, a national research organization, is part of the newly established National Institute for Occupational Safety. YongAn is one of the first investment guarantee companies to be approved by the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission. iPMine is a real-time two-way wireless communications solution that tracks, monitors, and communicates with miners and equipment underground and above ground.
12 million Chinese miners. Thats a city alone. No wonder China is sinking there teeth into the untapped market of mining safety technology. What we have here is
China/Technology/JV/Untapped market...... Do I hear IPKL

OK, I have been following IPKL for a while and I know some of the management team. The company introduced a great technology for mine safety. On the other hand China has the largest number of miners "12,000,000" and the rate of mine accident is very high. Therefore do the the math and figureout the potential. Americano I am glad that you are back on track.

I talked with Mr Kanno for the first time for 15-20 minutes and I was VERY impressed. For starters, he grew and sold his first company for 8 figures income! Some of this may be repetitious. JV sounded to me as if it's a DONE DEAL and soon to be signed. He told me not only of the China mines, but also the ones in North America that also need their product. I wasn't aware that a mining law was signed last June REQUIRING mine sytstem safety systems to be implemented...Also, it sounded like IPKL has the niche system because of it's required 2 WAY communication, and well ahead of many competitors-I see this as VERY important to be FIRST in the door both in China and also the US! He also mentioned 25% of o/s shares (est) to be held by insiders of the company. He sounded optimistic about a share buyback (definetely no r/s anytime soon). He also verified that with JV there could be MANY CONTRACTS with PYMT UP FRONT or DOWN PYMT which i interpreted that IPKL could be cash positive immediately
and a share BUYBACK very likely. And of course, their goal is to go to a much higher exchange which is a positive as well. So in summary, he is a Very successful businessman, JV sounded DONE, US and other countries also need their system(not just China), US has a mandate signed in June, 06 for mine safety systems, many shares tightly held, share buyback sounds likely, and MANY post JV contracts likely immed with up front money, and higher exchange. I will be adding more shares in the morning. This is only my insight on what I heard and felt in talking to Mr Kanno. Others should call him as well and do their respective DD. Good luck all and go IPKL!!
Steven.
All I can honestly say, is.....
With signed JV.
Contracts.
A possible buy back.
News on progress of manufacture plant.
50 million US$$ in hand.(by JV partnership)
More positive guidance on the possibility of higher exchange.
OTC qx/ OTCBB....anything away from pinks.....
We could see .02-.03 sometime in early 2007.
There is always that chance that news could be over or under expectations. Over...we could see .05++++
Under.... we could linger @ .005-.01....
My guess, is that more poitive than negitive are a result once JV is signed, so I think in first Q of new year we see .02 or above.
Steven,
IPKL has a great future. Short/Mid/Long, I think from now, going into the new year, we may see a lot of intrest here.
Like with anything else, play it smart, and only time will tell going into 2007. I know one thing for sure. I wouldn't be on the sidelines with this one for the next several months.
Nobody can put a pps prediction on where it may go. Keeping it perfectly simple, I can say we won't be sitting @ current levels.
Nost.... That is funny.
I was telling Sammy the Bull
That he needed to distinguish
Good company posts from the
To da mooners..lol
That because your back Mr. Hale
Looks like it was approved.
For when the change happens.
Fair enough.
Packets International, Inc. ("iPackets") (PINKSHEETS: IPKL), a developer and provider of wireless communications software and equipment for the mining industry, announced today that the name for the Chinese Joint Venture ("JV") has been approved by the Chinese Central government. The name of the JV will be GuoAn Mining Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. (GuoAn translates to National Safety). The JV partners will be iPackets, the China Coal Information Institute, and the Henan Yongan Investment Guarantee Company, Ltd. The JV will be the entity that manufactures and markets the iPMine solution, which focuses on mine-safety for personnel and equipment in China.
I thought the name change had been approved. I'm going to go back to that PR.
Name for JV has already come out. PR'ed over a month ago.
Now we're talking
Especially from Dart.
Couldn't be a better I-hubber
telling somebody to buckle up
for safety>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Howard my position has been set for months. I can understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately, Boards such as these, attract all walks of life. Sometimes, it is just part of the game. Many people on this board, are excited with good reason. Whether JV is a day, or a week away, nobody can argue the fact, that IPKL has come a long way, and the picture is becoming more clear by the day. Some rely on charts, and some not. The fact still remains, that IPKL @ this level is very attractive. Whether it's a day or 10 years. We can't change the way many people choose to play the market.
Howard...Lighten up.
Dart is good at what he does.
Many off us like to see his work.
Never bad to see things from all angles.
When did you become so anti charted...
Wasn't in, but fully aware of it. let's see a repeat.
That would be a nice dilemma to be faced with.
Please don't remind me of the XXXXXXXXXXXX.
Hard lesson to swallow.
Agree shane. I was just saying without JV signed, that it would be hard for the co. to lead us into anything else.
Kanno has said to many he has talked with, that contracts are lying in wait. Mining operators are currently serving jail sentences in China, and are 100% completely held accountable for mining deaths. They want system installs more than all at this point.
Hopefully tomorrow. MB, we want to get you in as low as possible.
Shane the reason for JV, is because contracts are there. China wouldn't be in this deep with IPKL, If mining contracts were not far behind. Noway they can release that info before JV inked.
Everything else is soon to follow. Many contract PR's to follow JV signing.
Nice chart Cargo

No, just arguing like we use to.lol
No. Haven't yet
Somebody see if Dart can give his read.
Always like what he has to say.
