Agreed but its a factual FDA warning letter that I was and still am curious about.
(imo) I read alot of posts here with lack of proof ,,deals / mergers that haven't happened etc.
Again I showed a factual link and was asking about it.
(imo) But maybe we should continue talking about the old stories that I've been reading here LOL !!!
"Since they took no action"
(imo) Maybe they aren't finished checking it out.
I dunno, but You're not showing me proof that it's complete.
I showed you an FDA link.
That seems to me to be a Health/Safety concern.
...just saying.
Have a goodnite
So it's the same strip as the Shasta strip?
Isn't The FDA looking into Genstrip50 now?..If so why?..I'm just trying to understand everything.
It's a Health concern question bro'..You know safety first.
Thanks but I see no date of FDA clearance on it.
Considering that you seem to be more familiar with company and I have spoken to them only once (imo) they might give you better info.(considering that you seem to know their product)
Personally I don't trust info. from phone phone calls and I might report back here with mis-understood information....so I absolutely will not call.
Again (imo) You seem to know know their product more than me.
(imo) You'd be better explaining it than me.
So Why don't you do us all the big favor ?
That doesn't say when genstrip50 was FDA approved.
...but okokok..Its the weekend and I have things to do.
Thanks for your input.
Are Genstrip & Genstrip50 the same product?
How do you know it was phony?
When was Genstrip50 FDA approved?
Does anyone here know if Genstrip50 is the same product as Genstrip?
No because if it's not in writing with statistics / proof it won't mean anything to me.
(imo) People can say anything over the phone...and no face attached to the person that I would be speaking too?...LOL Forget it.
(imo) This is a health concern question and I prefer to read validation, a phone conversation just doesn't do it for me.
(imo) I just thought it was a simple question to answer and Mr Sensitivity might know and tell me.
....Thanks anyway.
Do Genstrip50 have codes?...If not are they a different strip from the original shasta genstrip?
If the are different did they undergo and get clearance by the FDA ?

Dude, I didn't post the review..I don't know who posted the review.
I read the review...It made me curious..thought I'd bring it up here.
(imo) you should ask the manufacturers.
No I don't know and thats why I'm curious.
...Also (imo) Guessing isn't a fact...Many people have disabilities (eg. mental disabilities)
....and (imo) they may not understand everything about a medical product that they purchase.
.....so (imo) safety is a big concern.
Maybe you should call the company to get that answer.
I'm just noting the review and am intrigued with their issue.
I'm curious if more than 150 peope were tested what the results would be.
1 person = .666% of 150
2 peope having the problem (out of 150) woud be 1.33%
Bro' we're talking about Diabetics Lives.....I hope thats not the kind of response DECN would put on amazon .
Whats up with this new review about the mini ...is it true?
...I will be fair on this issue.
" INTENDED USE
GenStrip™ Test Strips with calibration codes 4, 10 and 13 are for use with OneTouch® Ultra®, Ultra®2 and UltraMini®
Meters purchased before July 2010. They are used to quantitatively measure glucose in fresh capillary whole blood
samples taken from the finger, forearm or palm. Testing is done outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use). They are
indicated for use by people with diabetes in their home as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control. The
system is not intended for the diagnosis of or screening for diabetes mellitus and is not intended for use on neonates "
LOL..Please tell me the INTENDED Use.
I can't help but notice the words "MAY BE"
Dude test resuts from 150 people..LOL...NEXT !!
" The accuracy of the GenStrip50 Test Strip when used with the OneTouch Ultra , Ultra 2, and UltraMini meter was
evaluated at one clinical center. Blood glucose meter results from 152 persons with diabetes "
(imo) It's about the same amount of people surveyed on "Family Feud"
Why?....LOL !!
A contestant on American Idol just now mentioned that he has a robotic pancreas.....just sayin' (It was a guy with a blue headband and guitar.)
I'm trying understand KSVikings point...Thats my point.
So if someone gets a FREE New Meter thats not adopting?...or are you trying to say something else ?
(imo) But they do change ...and adopt...Because Technology moves forward.
So no-one has bought any new diabetic tech. meters and other diabetic tech. in 2014?..2015?
Is GenStrip™ cleared for use with the YEAR 2014 made OneTouch® Ultra®, Ultra®2 and UltraMini® family of meters?
"GenStrip™50 for sale at a pharmacy near you"
A pharmacy near me??...LOL...Which one?
http://www.pharmatechdirect.com/genstrip_learnmore.html
Please back this up because (imo) it appears technology is moving forward....not backwards
Again I say, Good Luck to DECN in court .
I wish DECN The Best of Luck in court.
Sure they can sell them ....LOL do a search for them
