gorilla, CBPO rec'd by robert hsu; $15 target.
Upon further review of both the Amex and NASDAQ Cap mkt guidelines for initial listing, CIHD needs to get their bid above $3 otherwise no-go. Bummer for them!
I have started accumulating this stock. Today's dip was a nice opportunity, as the bids broke down quite a bit. I'm inclined to establish a large position, but am going to scale in until things become a little more clear. Of course by then the bargain shares may be gone.
Their imminent uplisting would seem to now be impeded by stock price, although i'm researching to see what their options are. Clearly CIHD needs some funding to finish up their capacity expansion, and with a declining stock price the terms are likely eroding rapidly.
Very interesting...thanks.
Very interesting report I thanks for that. I wonder what the list of companies is comprised of. I know one thing though, CO is it for china! NBS maybe on a smaller scale. Wouldn't surprise me at all for an institution buying the warrants instead of the common because the common would move too far if one purchased a million+ shares on the open mkt. If I recall, there are about 10-12M warrants, hence the increased liquidity
What in tarnations is going on here? I mean, I'm loving it, but I wish I understood it!
CNDWF - Arca buyer just going crazy. What does he know? Bought over a million warrants the past couple days.
re: NFEC - did Joe and lostmyballs call different IR people? what's the story here?
Maybe for a value player, but not a growth player. GRVY has been sitting on that hoarde for a long time. How have shareholders done?
Cash should help establish a floor, but at some point, like you said, SHOW US WHAT YOU"RE GOING TO DO WITH IT. Of course the flipside, which I'm not a big fan of, is growing so fast that you don't have the capital to keep up. Somewhere in between is just right.
Joe, why buy for the cash when there's so many China plays with GROWTH to be had? I like cash as much as the next guy, but not if they're sacrificing growth to hoarde it. I just DELETED GIGM from my watchlist today because there's no growth there. GRVY still on watch because there at least is potential for catalysts, but cash in and of itself is not a catalyst for growth til they do something with it.
re: NFEC, the underlying business makes for a nice reason to own imo, but the giddiness starts when you consider the uplist, the float, the sexiness. On fundamentals alone, stocks make progress, but with sexiness, they go crazy (RINO/CAGC/SKBI/LIWA...etc). 5M float will be fun after uplist.
r59/drex - fortunately I know you guys know what you're doing, but in my experience, almost EVERY decision i have made that was influenced by taxes turned out poorly. Nowadays, I just buy and sell without regard to the taxes because then I know i'm making clear-headed decisions based on the stock/market, not on uncle sam. But like I said, you guys are among the best, so kudos.
Of course the underlying question is who is doing all the buying thru ARCA? ARCA is not an MM, so it could be you, me, Goldman, Soros...ok, i'm getting carried away ;)
Well then you must not have read all the promo writeups! ;^)
Seriously though, 3 words for you to sum it all up: growth rate; uplist
Gorilla, re: NFEC -- those earnings #'s in their writeup are OLD. NFEC will outperform their EPS by a longshot.
NFEC - wonder if there's a short trying to keep it under $4 to hinder uplist efforts. Can't think of any other reason to sell here.
CSP - you're right to be giddy. All systems go for NFEC, and uplisting about a month away. With such a small sharecount, each little contract and especially the big ones, go straight to the bottom line. Very exciting.
EGMI - any idea what's going on here? No position, but thinking about one.
CSP - all natural cactus enhancement? Just think how that would sell in the asian countries!
It's really quite amazing to see these huge blocks going off. I can't remember how many warrants are outstanding off the top of my head, but I don't think this ARCA buyer is buying them for no reason! But the other side of the coin is who could be selling in such volume and why!?! Gotta love it.
What a battle going on with the warrants. Not much movement, but fun to watch. 20x daily volume already
NFEC is going to have a blowout quarter, but we're not going to see the filing for awhile since end of year. Of course they could PR it, and I expect newletter updates on their projected EPS w/ this new GE dea.
Who knows how it'll end up, but it's very interesting at the least, considering that the common isn't moving ahead as an impetus.
SGTI I was bidding for the last couple weeks and got a whopping ZERO shares! very disappointing.
CNDWF 100k bidder; have never seen that before; big volume yesterday too, so wonder what's up.
CNDWF 100k bidder; have never seen that before; big volume yesterday too, so wonder what's up.
lostmyballs--u put in a WKBT link but I catch your drift ;)
gorilla, that's my take. They have recurring revenue streams. And as I recall, this quarter should have a huge revenue bump due to revenue recognition timing. With only 13.2M shares out, that should be a nice EPS number.
CALI continues to push ahead; I'd be unpleasantly surprised if this doesn't make its way substantially higher in the coming weeks.
CSP - you're right that the GE contract is significant. Here are estimates from a newsletter, which do NOT include the new revenue from GE projects:
NFEC delivered a blow out Q3. From my review: "$5.6 million was the early forecast for the top line. Delivered: a whopping $7.57 million - just 35% ahead of the early forecast from the company. Has everyone already forgotten the $44 million contract for hospital energy management the company inked back in early September? The top line exceeded last year's Q3 number by 65%- that's all. The bottom line- that's really sweet. NFEC came in with $2.18 million net, which equates to $.16 in EPS. Balance sheet- strong- 3 to 1 current assets to current liabilities. Have you considered the following? If you multiply 4x$.16- you get $.64. That's right co investors- based on NFEC's Q3 numbers, the company is on an annual run rate of $.64 in Earnings Per Share with a 65% annual growth rate!!! This is killer." Worth way more than the current price of $4, but needs an upgraded listing to really get going.
re: NFEC; yeah, I made some good coin in CREG, but it's going to be a MONSTER...should have held. NFEC feels similar. Not sure i'm holding for long-term, but we'll see. Was looking for a good sub-$4 entry, and got it today.
NFEC + GE...great news for them this AM; dirt-cheap chinese energy savings co.

Drex, re: SBAY
I simply have too much history with this stock. I cannot let it go, to the point where I can give SBAY a fair shake. Therefore, I'll hold my nose, but not buy it....unless(sigh) it gets down to maybe .50 (everybody can be tempted hehe)
Too many other healthy fish in the sea.
ari, re: HQS...I added to the watchlist last week, and I do think it's dirt cheap here. There's a seeking alpha article on it that's pretty compelling. No position yet though; too many others that are actually going up to worry about HQS
LHSI/BBCZ - if LHSI uplists and starts to crank, BBCZ becomes a huge bargain with the load of LHSI shares they own. Wouldn't be surprised to see them use the uplist as an exit strategy to rebuild their fertilizer biz.
re: CALI, yes i follow it and it's one of my largest positions...search the board for relevant posts. It's having a nice breakout today.
