Can't say I'm glad to see ARCA back on the ask again today- gonna put a bid in for 200k at .004 . [sigh]
I used to think BUGS mainly from historical name recognition. And then SSWM because less shares and more US ties- Now I think either - with a slight leaning towards SSWM- mainly because it has been really crushed- but for all I know the could merge the new trucking and SSWM into BUGS or any other crazy scenario. At this point I have too much stock in both- but if you go by the buy when there's blood in the street and sell when you wish you had bought more theory then I probably should be buying more of both- and have been.
That's the Billion [share] question. New finance folks maybe- I think October will be either the last gasp or the new begining here. At these prices I figure it's worth the gamble with a reporting company with actual prospects-if not the means to get them done.
Looks like Mr Brehm may have been trying to get control of SSWM since the start- ..hope it works out for all.
The S8's were actually for employee incentive plans- basically trying to keep morale up and key personel on board.
Good luck!!
Maybe he's basically gonna save booking any revenues or contracts for the next qtr. Makes sense given how poorly both stocks have performed in 2007. I'm just going to add both BUGS and SSWM if we stay here or go lower, Good luck !!
After hours 2,5000,000 trade @.0048
They are really trying to beat this down and fill somebody?
or cover?
??????
For better or worse I bought 400k @ .005-- looks like our new partner was selling to recoup his investment through ARCA. We're either gonna hit it big in October [based on the fact Brehm keeps hinting at the OCT.1 start of 2008 business] or.....
Good luck!!!!!
We may need it!
Priceless!
So BUGS sends SSWM a bridge loan for a little more equity- I think there is some news for SSWM pending then- I think the 400k caught HDSN by suprise- We'll see what develops.
HDSN is brutal here- !
Hope you're right-
Have justalittle drive by Monday and give us his report-
GL!
I wasn't implying anything and I apologize if my question appeared that way.[ probally did] Since you were one of the people who actually spent the money and time researching this I thought you found something that convinced you that I missed or didn't find or hadn't found yet. I was referring to the Judge's ruling where he was pretty clear in case law.[imo] .If you look back at my posts from a couple years ago I spent a lot of time and money [ even got a UK geologist's opinion on Rome's supposed oil claims.] trying to find a reason to believe in PBLS.
And I'm still looking. Thanks again!
Well I asked for your thoughts because originally you replied to me and offered your opinion- I read every little detail and I can see why you may have that opinion but the one thing that stood out and stands out still is the old Will/Rodgers/Ben Franklin or whoever said this " How many legs does a dog have if you call a tail a leg?" 4 Just because you call a tail a leg doesn't make it so-.
Just because PBLS says they didn't sublease the pit doesn't/didn't make it so- at least in the court's eyes and the judge cited plenty of cases . Thank you for your thoughts.
I'm curious as to why you thought PBLS would obviously win this case?

I also believe that John Burge is gone and the Pro-gas is either gone or gone "soon." As for Mitchell and Furr...they are the plaintiffs/defendents on the Murphy case. I got so bored reading the court docs (it was obvious to me that we would win the case) that I didn't renew my premium membership. If you take the time to read through them, we'd all appreciate news on what is happening on that legal front.

In my opinion I don't see how PBLS will even get a judge to hear any more appeals. The reason for the quick ruling was basically saying- " don't waste anymore of the court's time on this. imo
Wow! The Caspian oil scam revisited? Does your report mention there is no way to get oil out of the caspian sea area?
Wow! If you have something in writing from Ron saying that Sam's is growing I would love to see it. Hang on to that email! What was the date of his response if you don't mind sharing?

Probably right... But if I really wanted to pile on I might wonder if PBLS management considers WY an international drilling site.
err that is if PBLS had some mineral rights there.

imo ofcourse
Not to pile on but most of the past aquired companies aren't in the fold anymore-[ to be hurt ] and by looking at Nevada website PBLS is quietly moving assets around-- err apparently moving assets around. imo as always.

Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate Acquires New Oil Lease in Nevada, Increasing Total Estimated Oil Reserves by Over 433%
COVINGTON, La., Dec 09, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate (Pinksheets:PBLS) announced today that the company's Mid-South/Rome Oil & Gas Division has acquired a new Oil & Gas lease property located in White Pines County Nevada in an all-cash transaction. The lease, consisting of over 7871 acres, represents the company's third lease acquisition outside of its existing properties located in Kentucky and Wyoming. Recent geologic surveys suggest estimated reserves for this lease of approximately 50 million barrels, increasing the company's total existing estimated oil reserves by over 433%, from 15 million total barrels to approximately 65 million total barrels. With the company's 30-day sales average of $54.00 per barrel, total unrealized value of the Company's total estimated oil reserves now exceeds $3.5 Billion USD.
Paul Alonzo, CEO of Phoenix, stated, "We are pleased to be able to introduce this leasehold into our ever-deepening portfolio of oil & gas properties. A producing well in close proximity to our new Nevada leasehold is currently producing in excess of 15,000 barrels of oil per day." He continued, "As such, we are planning to quickly deploy the resources necessary to drill and bring new wells on that property online as soon as possible." [/U] **** Soon!

COVINGTON, La., Dec 15, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate (Pink Sheets:PBLS) announced today it has closed on its acquisition of Covington, Louisiana based ProGas, Inc. The transaction, which was concluded on Wednesday, is expected to add significant production and distribution capacity to Phoenix's energy businesses on an ongoing basis. ProGas, which also has offices in Houston, Texas, has reported audited revenues in excess of $190,000,000 for the past fiscal year (y.e. 8/31/05).
Paul Alonzo, CEO of Phoenix stated, "We are very happy to have finalized this transaction. Along with the intrinsic value of ProGas' business operations, the Company is also fortunate to be gaining a talented, extremely knowledgeable and dedicated team in Oil & Gas operations that will undoubtedly enhance the Company's future position in those markets."
The Company issued a clarification of an inadvertent error contained in the Company's December 7th press release entitled, "Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate Acquires New Oil Lease in Nevada, Increasing Total Estimated Oil Reserves by Over 433%". In the Release, CEO Paul Alonzo was quoted as having stated that, "A producing well in close proximity to our new Nevada leasehold is currently producing in excess of 15,000 barrels of oil per day." The statement should have read, "Based on data collected from a third-party geologic study, a producing formation in close proximity to our new Nevada leasehold is believed to have current production capacity of approximately 15,000 barrels of oil per day."

Where are the progas Audited financials? Did they ever exixt- Did progas dupe PBLS? Inquiring minds want to know.
From the original PR in November- "According to ProGas audited financial statements, the acquisition when closed, is expected to add in excess of $190,000,000 in annual revenues to Phoenix. While specific information on the acquisition will be made available when the transaction closes
http://www.pbls.biz/pr45.htm
Maybe even some Revenue numbers since they have audited financials- I mean this PR is just more of the same. IMO
And PBLS wonders why shareholders are a bit skeptical..
I'm not saying there is a short squeeze here- just tradig action like one if PBLS shuts off the share spigot and actually PRs something legit- and when we get through my 13 state countdown we'll have more fun to talk about. BTW I agree with just about everything you posted- see my post #17549

You know I sat on my hands with that info for awhile- waiting for the company to get out in front of that news- [makes me wonder if I didn't post it when the company would've mentioned the increase]. I approach my DD on PBLS the following way- In my opinion PBLS is kinda like a ever growing Ponzi business . Each new business aquired feeds of the next one etc etc- ultimately sustained by the shareholders. On a side note anyone want to guess what the board of directors salary's are and also what 6% quartery payments amount to?
If I could find verifiable good news I would surely post it. And as I mentioned before there is a reason to hold this stock that has nothing to do with fundementals. I'm used to shoot the messenger mentality but be assured I am not only looking for "bad" news, just news that can be verified independently.
Also black widow farming is actually very profitable- the venom is used in anti-clot and anti venom aplications-
Ofcourse all in my opinion and as always thanks for your thoughts!
Well, lots of shares were sold into the Komex PR and look at the volume now- If a person didn't know any better- he might think that PR was released to sell shares , and maybe the "partner" thing is not as stated- however vague it may be explained.
I need to dig up the oil prs from couple years ago that seemed rather hard to believe [ and later retracted].
Big question why would big money partners be forced to buy on the open market ? Seems strange give PBLS history of using shares freely.

on to Florida
True- actually there is another trade strategy with the OS nearing the AS- [ Assumming PBLS doesn't go to 4 billion shares AS] If PBLS runs out of shares and bumps up to the max AS . Any PR [ actual contact info for Komex?] would cause a really nice run up - almost what you might see with a short squeeze- That might be why there is the support you're seeing here around .014 [ loaders for a mega pr.]
Now
On with the countdown!
My point [ soon to be points] is that aren't these things considered material events and in the spirit of being a more shareholder friendly company shouldn't they let everyone know what's up? Also I think if KOMEX is real and PBLS does indeed have the staggering contract they better get some info out pretty quick!. IMO.
I suspect that some larger holders may have asked the company to verify these contracts and claims and barring that ask officials to look into the validity of the Press releases. IMO .

From the website - Integrated Oil and Gas Expertise
Our oil and gas division, through growth and acquisition, could well exceed $ 1 billion dollars in revenue by the end of 2008. With strong commodity prices and solid relationships within the industry, Phoenix is positioned for strong financial performance in oil and gas. From an E&P standpoint, the company holds over 11,000 acres.
The company’s energy-related concerns include:
ProGas, Inc.
Sam’s Oil Country Inspection
CM Ideal Energy
Ideal Energy Directional Drilling
"could well exceed $ 1 billion dollars in revenue by the end of 2008. " Now that's what I call a forward looking statement!! Does PBLS still have any mineral rights? The answer forthcoming...

In our industry, we all have experienced turbulence at one time or another. Many clients have called wondering why “our” fuel was not available at a particular location.
Many have asked, “Are you still in business? "
Absolutely. We’ve experienced a few challenges in our transition – new supplier agreements, supplier terms, different strategies for purchasing product….just to mention a few.
