this a trial run. I believe the person I received this from enquired as to whether an interface for a similar format could be established on their website.....as I say this is a trial run on several levels, let's give it our best shot. Thanks

"We would be open to your submitting questions ahead of the
shareholder's meeting. As you suggest, we will need to check
to determine in what form the response would best comply
with SEC regulations and we most likely will not be able to
answer all questions. We'll see how this goes before we
commit to it long term. At the least it will make for a better
question and answer session at the meeting. "

We have 2 questions as of this time. What say we have all questions in by end of month, then vote on top 5-10, tweak'em if needed for better presentation and see how it goes?
....this is off the cuff and on the fly, so feel to suggest a different way.
good question, we now have 2, (CS about QMC name). Anyone else?
willingness has been expressed and venues being checked. No promise that all questions will be answered as mandates still have to be followed.
Time will also be a factor, so think about phrasing questions in a manner most likely to get a response.
Mayhap 5 - 10 questions deemed most impt by bd members could be asked.
Other things being explored by another, but working for betterment of all.
Moving on.
......open to other ideas for improving. Still like the bid/ask as it keeps people aware, (coming back from work etc). Thanks
There are a lot questions that board members either don't know the answers to or not allowed to answer.
I have heard there are several that plan to attend the shareholders meeting.
Would one or more you volunteer to represent this forum here, present questions raised by the members here......and later post answers?
If we have a volunteer(s), members can ask questions and perhaps work on them to present in a manner to cover as much as possible w/o crossing sec regs.
Mayhap some of our former or current business owners/ceo's/cfo's...would help sort and reduce # of questions down to a reasonable amount.....of course questions asked are dependent on the one asking. ;)
That kind of activity would seem constructive and entertaining too.
Thoughts welcomed

2011 CTL expressed intent to expand iptv.
http://www.fiercetelecom.com/story/centurylink-hints-expanding-iptv-qwest-markets-delivering-smb-based-cloud-s/2011-09-12
Does anyone know where CTL is at in the scheme of things in regards to iptv?
Recently CTL created a bombshell by cutting dividends and announcing a buyback. SP dropped $9+ , credit rating dropped, and received 6 downgrades.
Analysts seem to think they've gone crazy.
The comment ""We have always thought that video is more important than wireless was and hence our relationship with first Dish, DirecTV and our build out of our IPTV service to a million homes in the legacy footprint and our view to looking to extend that service into the Qwest markets as well," Ewing said" makes me wonder.
If they were to make a major leap with iptv, the madness seen by CTL would seem like genius in hindsight.
I don't kmow, just bringing it up to see what you think.
Thanks
some conversations are a little confusing to me in regards to PVSP or any other stock. To me, investing is speculative in
nature and therefor a gamble. There are some quite intelligent/knowledgeable that do DD. I liken them to the card counters.
There are some that are like slot machine or lottery players, rightly thinking odds are better here than there, imo.
What I don't undestand are the preachers. Maybe they had a bad experience at some point in life, they're trying to
save everyone, or being paid......just not sure of the motive or how it helps others learn more about the stock.
Presentation of facts and links supportive and revelant to one's line of thought is appreciated, that helps.
To keep repeating w/o supportive data is like badgering those that have already made a choice.
Heads UP, people will make $, lose $, or bypass........Party On, (as one says)
....Thanks to those that share educational and current information. It's appreciated. KUDOS to you.
Thanks for sharing.
Better informed, makes for better decisions and stability.
Rock on.
that kind of movement has been happening on a fairly regular basis...at least this week.
BigE says he notices it the other way....pushed up on low amounts.
Both add to and help validate that the sp is being pushed by other normal supply and demand.
Hopefully everyone here has established a position that they're comfortable with so my preference is supportive of sp.
It seems from the article that MM's can short the ask, so either a bid or buy could be profitable for the MM, but not for the investors or company. Buys can be sold lower tick by tick.
I hope some that have more knowledge than I chime in.
GLTA
and I thank you. Have read it several times at different locations. Have you any solutions?
Brought it up this time as the perception exists that sp is manipulated from time to time. More knowledge about how it can be pushed up/down would help with clarity and understanding. Perhaps, a solution to counter it will emerge.
Regardless, more input broadens the scope and opens new venue to consider.
get the feeling the deck is stacked and they can eat your $ with no consequence
don't necessarily disagree here. Another article by same author raised the point of how verbal attacks could be used effectively to create a negative perception of a company and drive down sp....times past seemed so here, but not so much now. Think things like this are good to be aware of and to be proactive when need be, (it's our $ on the line).
I bring up these points to help with the macro view of reasons sp seems to be pushed by motive at times rather than actual supply and demand. Think most have had that perception here, (true or not).
Thanks for posting bid/ask, wish we had depth as that more clearly illustrates players, (though that too can be cloaked). Even so better informed folks are, better decisions they can make.
GLTA
LOL, had already thought north of 1, but defer to those that have been at it for a while, (knowledge of stock and tradewise).
don't know for sure that questions had an impact, but sp moved in short order.......venue of thought may be worth exploring deeper.
anyone thinking less than $1 ?
thoughts and comments welcome....still learning
just got back in around 2:30(other half in hosp today)
I did ask for bid/ask posting to help all get a feel for what goes on. In that light, I read the following the other night.

Short Seller Manipulation Technique Used by OTC Market Makers
November 10, 2012
:Nothing up my sleeve . . . .”
In the stock market, price is the best advertising.
A stock that is going up tends to create the belief that it will continue to go up, and thus demand is created.
Price gets attention. We see the change in price and the price chart as a guides for action.
Short squeezes – buying panics – are created by rapid upward price movement and so feed on themselves.
Now, if I told you that I, as a market maker, could drop the stock price in the face of consistent buying and so go short and create panic selling, you might find this to be new and rather electrifying information would you not? That’s why you are reading.
Market Maker Magic
Here is the simple and little known trick of market makers.
We start with the inside bid ask of the stock, let’s give a hypothetical market, $0.20 bid offered at $0.26, with the last sale being at $0.26.
Now of course this is not a real stock and I am not going to give you real history. Any close similarity between this delusional and fictional narrative and exactly what happened to a certain stock – yesterday – is simply a matter of total coincidence despite your swinish suspicions to the contrary.
A buy order for 10,000 is entered and instead of being executed at 0.26, the market makers made the sale at 0.259, so that the buy order actually dropped the price compared with the last sale of 0.26 – so the stock shows 10,000 shares traded on a down move – making the buy look like a sale.
About 10 minutes passes, and another buy order, this time for 20,000 shares is entered and that is executed at 0.258 – another down tick on another buy order!
So now the stock is down on 30,000 shares of buying only – no selling.
Folks, that is not normal supply and demand, is it? You would expect that on buy orders the stock would go up or at least stay the same, would you not?
The Market Maker at Work
Silly you.
If the market maker now goes and hits the bid of his competition, even for a small amount of stock, let us say 1,000 shares, the last sale is showing is now 0.20 and the stock is down 23% on heavy buying of 30,000 shares, but it looks like the stock is being dumped in a panic.
What is the effect of this false appearance on the market?
First, they buyers apparently have an immediate loss of 23%. Second, anyone with a buy order may hold off on buying to see where the stock stabilizes. If the company is trying to get people to buy the stock, as it has a right to do, it is going to be much harder to whip up enthusiasm as the stock looks like it is crashing.
Sellers, if they panic, will now come in and sell. In fact, the stock could be so demoralized that, hypothetically speaking, it could close at 0.14, down 46%, but again, this is only fictional, right?
Now if we were to check OTCShorteport.com to see what the volume of trading vs short selling looked like, we might find that half of the volume was short selling, theoretically speaking, of course. Presumably this would be by the market makers going short at 0.259 and 0.258 and elsewhere to push the price down. We would also find that half of the selling might be from long sellers who went into a panic, perhaps maybe.
Now again, all this is a merely fictional example, and I would never accuse my fellow market makers of doing anything this destructive just to make a fast buck. But it is the type of thing that I now get paid the big bucks to discover and combat.
Why? Consider what this means to the company. If the company had a $100 million market capitalization, reducing the price by 46% is a $46 million loss for the shareholders on a day when there was really nothing but buying in the stock.
If the company is selling stock to raise money, say $10 million, it means that it has to now pay stock with a value of $14.6 million to get the same money – a loss of $4.6 million.
And if the shorts are short ten million shares, they made 0.26 minus 0.14 or 0.12 per share or only $1,200,000 while the shareholders had a $46 million paper loss.
Now if you want to learn more tricks today, get yourself over to my website here and sign in and I will send you a pdf copy of my book, “How the Shorts Raid Your Stock, Destroy Your Company, and What to Do About It” so you don’t have to pay to buy it off Amazon. I wrote this years ago to advise companies how to fight off predatory short sellers (of which I was one) only to find that the shorts reverse engineered the techniques and had a field day bringing down public companies. That’s life in the jungle of Wall Street – the lions eat the gazelles who are too slow.
..................................................................
As I read this again on another board, I questioned what would happen if no one either bought or sold, (played MM's game as they have both ends covered) at what point in time would shorts have to be covered?
also what impact, if peeps only bought on upticks to a higher price?
I still don't know, but shortly after asking sp began to rise.
Any thoughts here on the subject matter?
your action does show support and also highlights the MM's most likely overextended.
Wonder what happens if only the bump is acknowledged?
......still learning
it seems essentially the MM's short the ask and buyers or sellers are then helping them by participating.....the MM's can ghost trade by shorting say a 100k and then cover, (cancel out at any time at the lower sp and make a profit).
What happens if we neither buy or sell, (as a group, as a for instance)until news and new interest would support a massive drive? When would their shorts have to be covered if we're not playing?....then help buy the uptick only to a dime?
Just wondering if they can be countered as they have a stacked deck against us.
thoughts, ideas, and information appreciated.
$$$$$$$ Thanks, Looking Good
Thanks for the good word, will be looking forward to learning about the performance.
