creapingman, here is the N. Lucky Mineral Rights Inquiry updated 2/18/2011:
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/license.asp?license=016909M
Actual expenditure $17,515.62 as of that date.
If you check the VALE claims they also show lots of work on them:
Here is just one, the one surrounding N.Lucky property:
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/license.asp?license=017004M
Actual expenditure $50,664.34 as of 3/15/2011
Here's just one more:
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/mrinquiry/license.asp?license=017003M
Actual expenditure $51,213.59 as of 3/15/2011
All of VALE's claims on the Bonavista Penninsula have had updates as of 3/15/2011. A lot of $$ spent. Check them out.
Stingray, I guess my thinking was that because we do have a working relationship with VALE on the Lucky properties, could it be that VALE has a hand in any other KATX properties that we have not been informed about? Who knows. Just a thought.
About the BVIG shares, I prefer to wait for those and have them issued to shareholders when news comes out on Handcamp or when they reverse merge katx into BVIG/KATG. Then they will have value. I believe Ken Stead is working hard on that right now.
Silence can be a good thing. :o)

FWIW: For a stock that people (you know who) continually say is worthless, the interest sure continues to grow in board marks.

VALE---Red Cliff---- NR???
VALE being the operator of the drilling on the Red Cliff property last year. The rumors I heard then was that they were happy with results.
Was talking with management today and it seem that we may get a NR on drill results very soon and lets hope that it includes more drilling on the property.
CGP do like Tuesdays for NR lets hope for this following week coming up!

Yes, I believe they know each other. They knew each other from when Ken Stead worked with Cornerstone. Warant always spoke very highly of Ken Stead's honesty, integrity and work ethics from what I read.
As you all know Katx has an option agreement with VALE on the Bonavista Penninsula for the Lucky properties, as Cornerstone does for Red Cliff property.
This post on the Cornerstone board is very interesting:

That showed to me that the first million dollars of the first major financing was received and spent. Then they were able to start drawing down from the remaining four million dollars. As of Nov. 30 they had taken down and spent the SECOND million dollars ( + ) and had just over $9,000 left in the bank. That was 3 months ago so it means they have been drawing into the third million dollars at a hefty monthly burn rate up to to-day's date. They have still not divulged the conditions they had to meet to keep the money flowing.

There is also a phone # I was given to call for questions:
"211 group" # 240-386-5100
I was told, The rule has not changed, only the description of the rule:
From- “Failure to comply with Rule 15c2-11”.
To- “Ineligible for quotation on OTCBB due to quoting inactivity under SEC Rule 15c2-11”
The rule is still the same. FINRATM is updating the comment on the OTCBB Daily List used to indicate an issue is no longer eligible for quotation on the OTCBB due to a lack of quotation activity.
I was also told, that the only thing that would take a security to a lower tier on the OTCmarkets, for example, from OTCQB to OTCpinks, would be if they were not current on filings and such. Our BVIG is current.

It gives the Claim #011745M
Whereas the Falconridge report did not.
And similar description of where property is.
(but with quite different distances 20 vs 40 km) than the Falconbridge Pdf.
Kind of leaves an open question still as to where Falconridge Handcamp work was done? LOL Who inputs the information on the Geo site for all to look up? if the distances are different?

Silly to go round and round...will get to the bottom of this sooner or later. Good night. Have a great weekend!
That's just it. Its not the KAT GOLD handcamp claim map (that is from the BVIG/KATG 8k)that I have a problem with.
It's the Falconbridge drill map that you recently made. I believe that if you enter the wrong claim information (in your case you entered the current KAT GOLD claim #) for your Falconbridge map.
Lots to check up on, like homevendor said.
Have a great weekend. :o)
Thanks, you have a great weekend too!!!
Yes, homevendor,I agree, Nice job. I believe the problem here is Popnjay entered the current claim number, # 011745M, which is for BVIG Handcamp area.
Nowhere in the Falconbridge work report is that # mentioned.

Next look at the Date it was up dated!!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Ken Stead <kstead@katexploration.com>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ let me explain the difference of what we are calling the Handcamp and what the old records is calling the Handcamp.
In the early years of the old “GullBridge” copper mine, which is approximately 10 kms SW of our claims, much exploration was carried out in the vicinity of the mine looking for the main copper horizon that was hosting the copper at the mine.
Therefore, an extremely large parcel of land(hundreds of square KMs) was staked to the NE of the mine where numerous copper and gold showing were discovered. Gold was at an all time low and too costly to take our off the ground at any dept. That huge property became known as the “Handcamp” property. Over the years much work was carried out in various places with some drilling many KM to the South of our property, where they were still looking for the copper horizon that was at the GullBridge copper mine, yet it was all called the Handcamp. After a while portions of that property went back to the crown with lots of interesting data but not being compiled into one data bank to see the full potential of the whole area.
In the late 90’s a couple of prospectors discovers this tremendous gold zone way to the North of what was called the Handcamp property and they called this gold discovery (wouldn’t you know) the Handcamp property.
That’s why it has caused some confusion over the years as being a property overworked and changing hands, as Mr Bishop claims to raise $$ on, which is not accurate. This area is very under worked and we intend to see what its full potential really is, by drilling it and other areas as well if data proves it should(and it’s looking that way.)
The gold numbers are very high in the area and because of the overburden soil sampling and trenching has proved that there is much more to this area than what has already been discovered. We will continue to do what is necessary to bring this property to the next level and hope that it will warrant a feasibility study to become an economic deposit.
K Stead
