Any idea what's going on with this empty shell of a stock?
59 million shares traded at midday. Not much actual money. around $17,000, involved but more action than seen in years.
Having a bid price gave me a chance to sell half a million shares - never thought I'd be able to get them out of my TDA account.

Mawson now has two active projects going, one in Australia and another in Finland and a project in Oregon USA. Went for years with just the Finnish project -and now interests on three continents and about as widely separated as can be imagined. Nice 10% gain in share price today, Tuesday.
Suppose you like both Niocorp and IBC for their synergy and future appreciation and have $10,000 to invest. How would you allocate the funds between the two?
Good upbeat video from an enthusiastic CEO. Glad to see it and forward to others.
I was going to replay the presentation to make sure I heard singular "partner" but you have confirmed it for me. Tnx. I take that as confirmation there is one singular entity and I know every word is carefully chosen when Mark speaks.
Do we have any idea the number of viewers for this presentation? Good idea to share the URL via our own networks of financial geniuses.

The title with the word "lightweighting" led me to think I'd be reading about a niobium alloy and maybe even Niocorp but lightweighting can take many forms. Niobium alloys are but one of the tools. I'd say the author missed the boat by not making specific mention of niobium alloys.
Love it. Was it the resignation of three Board members that kicked this off or something else?
Anybody local to the mine site that can comment on ag operations this spring? Are operators proceeding with field prep, corn and bean seed ordered, and doing the normal spring planting routines? Twelve month share price targets fromm tipranks.com
Based on 3 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Kratos Defense in the last 3 months. The average price target is $24.67 with a high forecast of $26.00 and a low forecast of $23.00. The average price target represents a 25.04% increase from the last price of $19.73.
I find other "high" forecasts up to $28 for Jan 2021.
Per Market Beat there are seven BUY ratings and one HOLD for KTOS.
That average price of $24.67 seems pretty conservative since KTOS is again knocking on the door of a $20 share price and is delivering tne goods in the areas it competes.

Slide 21 - about 2/3 of the way thru the slide set is recent and shows the timeline for 2019 and 2020 -- they no longer give any guidance about production - only about exploration.
The horizon stretches farther and farther out -and hence the continuing drop in share value. Market cap now approx 20 millions USD for the 142 million outstanding shares.
Morning share price on 10.29.19 is 0.113 Share price peaked at $2.38 USD for the OTC Symbol MWSNF in Spring 2011. How long before we see that price again? t's years out. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MWSNF/

Septenber 15th Press Release with detaila on recent drilling ans assays.
The CEO's comments in the PR:
Clear evidence for potential to expand the published resource at Rajapalot was confirmed during the past winter's drill campaign said Mr. Michael Hudson, Chairman and CEO. The project has recently pivoted to a resource expansion focus, with 83% of the 49 kilometres of drilling completed over the last 3 drill seasons. Nevertheless, we remain at an early stage of testing with drill hole depth averaging only just over 100m. We are permitted to drill across the project area over the next 2.5 years with down-plunge electromagnetic conductors providing excellent potential for very substantial resource expansion. Drilling remains sparse at numerous pre-resource prospects where mapped conductors and gold and cobalt mineralization provide unlimited upside of the total resource potential of the Rajapalot field. Our team is excited about the prospects for the next drill program which will begin after financing has been secured.
The above quote from the PR was by Michael Hudson, Chairman and CEO.

click on 1 year for ab overview. The 52 week low was 11 cents in late July and we're now at 15 cents so the three week trend up up significantly but it'll take more than three weeks to truly say we have bottomed. A three week run is good - exploration news is good, the permitting issues are now trending favorable so let's hope that 11 cent low was THE the low - not to be revisited.

Here are the key points from the PowerPoint slide set My fav is the 3rd items - 2.5 to 3.0 million ounce of gold equivalent at grade 406 g/t. That should be economic even in the Arctic and enough total resource to give a mine life of who knows - well over ten years - my estimate.

Corporate PowerPoint presentation updated August 2019

I note the presentation no longer includes an estimated production year -the timeline just trails off with "Resource Upgrade" in summer 2020 - a year from now. All prior estimates of a production date have come and gone so he company deems it wiser to stay vague.
This is still a long term speculative project with great potential but no near term event is going to move share price upward substantially. My own estimate to production is a moving three year target. A year from now if nothing changes beyond more data collection the time to production will still be three years.
Major expansion of the Mawson resource in Finland per this Press Release:

Mr. Jay Garnett, Chief Executive Officer commented "Experion is in continued development of our wellness-centric brand Kanabé Goods Co. www.kanabe.ca for the launch of value-add products (VAP's). There are currently 50 plus existing formulations which we have the ability to produce in our facility and we are also working with key strategic partners for large scale commercial roll-out. These health and wellness products such as non-intoxicating topicals and micro-dosed oils are an entry point for new consumers, broadening the market potential. The Experion management team has decades of experience in consumer-packaged goods and is well positioned to be a first mover in this category which in turn will enable Experion to stand firm in our commitment of unlocking value for our shareholders"
-----------
So another brand and name to keep an eye on, Kanabé Goods Co., as Experion moves aggressively into the marketplace. There will be some major excitement when these brands become established and awareness takes hold of the many enterprises that exist the Experion umbrella.

Want to read about a tough gold mining regime consider the Andes - and Peru.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/photography/2019/06/21/mining-gold-worlds-highest-permanent-human-settlement/?utm_term=.ee3cd33c944d
The mining in La Rinconada District is about as difficult as can be imagined - fist the altitude- 17,700 feet above sea level - well above the altitude where oxygen is required for aviators -then the squalid conditions in the towns that supplies the housing but no running water or sewers. Then they pay - there is none - workers spend 30 days working for the mining company and are given one day to mine for themselves.
Read the article and it'll make our exploration activity in Finland sound like a Caribbean resort. Oh, yeah, the mercury -workers in Peru live with it, breathe and and ingest it.
South Palokas footprint keeps expanding per this press release:
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/222059/mawson-resources-extends-south-palokas-prospect-at-finnish-gold-cobalt-property-222059.html
From Proactive Investors and the press release:
Mawson Resources Limited (TSE:MAW) (OTCMKTS:MWSNF) has posted more encouraging drill results from its flagship gold-cobalt Rajapalot project in Finland, which have expanded the South Palokas prospect.
The firm completed 44 holes during the winter season and Thursday's results are from five. Assays from nine holes are still pending.
South Palokas is growing and improving at depth with four of five holes completed this winter at South Palokas ranked in the top seven intersections for the prospect, Mawson noted.
The target now has over 170 metres of strike, is 30 metres wide and has been tested to 340 metres down plunge.
READ THE DEEP DIVE: Mawson Resources seeing results as it bids to expand flagship resource in mining hotspot Finland
Highlight assays reported Thursday included 32 metres at 3.9 g/t (gram per ton) gold equivalent, with 1.4 g/t gold and 1,556 ppm (parts per million) cobalt from 294.3m.
Another hole hit 9.8 metres at 6.1 g/t (grams per ton) gold equivalent.
"Drill results reported over the last few months from Rajapalot have substantially upgraded the project potential, with numerous higher-grade hits and gold-cobalt mineralization discovered in significant step outs across multiple prospect areas," said CEO Michael Hudson.
He noted that at South Palokas three of five new holes with large step outs returned more than 50 g/t - metres gold equivalent, while the deepest hole returned the best result in the prospect of 32.0 metres at 3.9 g/t gold equivalent metres.
Open at depth and strike
"Mineralization at all prospects remain open at depth and across strike," he added.
The Palokas and South Palokas deposits share the same kind of geological relationships, but are hosted by somewhat different rock types, the firm said.
Mawson said that further drilling on the high grade trend at South Palokas and Palokas was needed, but that similarities to the firm's Raja prospect, located at surface 1.4 km south south east of the Palokas prospect, were "immediately evident."
The Rajapalot maiden resource positioned the site as one of Finland's current top three gold resources by grade and contained ounces and one of a small group of cobalt resources.
Mawson shares in Toronto were unchanged at $0.18 CDN.
It's June 10th, 2019 and the name change is showing up on some platforms The former symbols VIR and VIRFF are not updated on my TDAmeritrade acct. The new TSX.V symbol is EXP.
I spoke with Judy-Ann at Experion and she indicated it will take a few days to obtain a new symbol on the OTCQB exchange. That will be a move up from the Pink sheets. Still OTC but the QB list is stronger list and more investment groups can buy OTCQB stocks so it's a positive move.
Initial day under new name:
Share price TSX.V: 0.38 CDN
Outstanding share count: 98,733,256 for market cap of 37.5 million CDN.
Starting this new name/new life near the 52 week low of 0.36 . 52 week high - a good number to shoot for $1.15 CDN.
TSX Quote: https://tmxmatrix.com/company/EXP
On OTC the VIRFF symbol shows name now as Experion Holdings but no trades thus no pricing so far this date. It does reflect the OTCQB listing.

Sold some underground pipeline to buy some underground "rock". Liked today's news and felt the risk/reward equation had shifted a little more toward reward. Time will tell.
Our Elk City site was not affected by the current flooding but much of eastern Nebraska was hard hit along with parts of Missouri, Iowa and Kansas.
I love the slogan "Nebraska Strong" it speaks to the determination of the farmers, businesses and homeowners of the flooded areas to get their lives and livelihoods back. For some it'll be months and even years to fully recover.
The State of Nebraska has put up a website that makes it easy to donate goods, services or cash. The cash donation by credit card is the easiest for most of us and the site lets the donor choose among eight recognized charities.
You can donate to one group or several on the Nebraska Strong site. I hit the Cattlemen's Association and the Red Cross but they're all good organizations and any donation will be put to good use.

The starbursts represent road closures due to flooding -the bulk of them along the Platte from Omaha west. Road closures in Missouri and Iowa don't show on this Nebraska DOT map. I-29 is closed in Missouri north Of Rock Port MO due flood waters and in Iowa from Omaha South. Thru traffic on I-29 faces a long detour mostly on two lane roads right now.
You can pan and zoom this image. Use scroll wheel to zoom to Lincoln area then follow Hiway 2 southeast to Syracuse . At Syracuse follow Hiway 50 south thru Tecumseh til you see Elk City. The Niocorp holdings sit west of town where Hiway 62 dead ends into Hiway 50. That marks the northeast corner of our primary section of land, 640 acres. Many additional acres are under option but I believe the plan is to do the initial build on that 640 acre section with roads on all sides.

I don't quite get starting a new speculative operation far removed from home base and the Finnish project -- but that's what exploration companies seem to do - start new projects before any have reached maturity. Guess it's regarded as "insurance". In this case it seems a distraction and money sink if prospects are so golden in Finland.

The TSX symbol, R, shows as delisted so I have no idea what it means to trade the OTC symbol, RDEMF, if there is no underlying symbol on a listed exchange. Yet, here are some trades. I can understand sellers - don't understand buyers. Was this a scam or just unfortunate planning that didn't anticipate the underground structure and has lost over a hundred millions for investors?

Officially defunct or just defunct? No quotes, minuscule trading. Nothing doing - has Red Eagle gone into bankruptcy or any formal cessation? What about the slick new plant - or were the pictures merely "bait" for an investment scheme? What's up?

Size doubled for Raja prospect by way of geomagnetic survey. This info from late November 2018 bodes well but I an slightly jaded about magnetic surveys- they indicate minerals but don't give specifies so treat with grains of salt
The second part about a new prospect in Oregon USA is a departure from all we've heard from Mawson in the past six or eight years. They threw off other holdings to concentrate on Finland - now they're spending borrowed money on a new and speculative property in Oregon, The WUSA holding is in Douglas and Lane Counties. Those are in western Oregon generally from Eugene to Grants Pass and from the coast to the crest of the Cascades so that doesn't narrow the locale down much.
I concur that the Annual Meeting is not likely to produce major news - just don't think that's the way NIOCORP handles "news".
I attended in Dec 2016 and glad I did. Two shareholders attended and it was good to meet Mark and Jim and be there in person but it's sort of a corporate formality. There may be a new slide presentation - hope there is - there will be a Q & A. I'll be listening to the conference call version this year and look forward to it.
Go for the atmosphere, the hand shakes, the coffee, the Q & A and enjoy a day or two in Denver.
All hands on deck for the groundbreaking at the Elk Creek site. I will definitely be there for that event. We were sure in 2016 we'd already have been there - but now I'm hoping for summer 2019 but if it's beyond that - that's ok too.
Big projects take time. The tariffs on steel and aluminum introduce uncertainty and bankers and lenders don't like uncertainty. Patience is still the watchword.
