If you call the broker, a Rep may be able to place the order for you. I've gotten them to do things for me that the on-line system flat out refused. The commission is 4 times as much, but if you really want to sell...or buy.
Dino
If the extra commission is worth it to you, try placing a broker aided trade. Who rejected it?
Dino
Have youu tried placing an order for MXSGD? 98K traded so far today.
I'm not planning to sell mine anytime soon, so it doesn't matter to me.
Dino
Ameritrade will charge $38. Just to make your day complete, they'll also charge you (and me ) for the GORO spinoff.
Dino
If I understand the PR correctly, I think it will be a 1 for 3.5 distribution. The PR said there would be approximately 20 million shares in Spinco and there are 70.2 million at last count in GORO.
Dino
That sounds like a "test" sale for both parties. A few ounces from the AgCl trapped gold to a) prove the recovery technique and determine the dore ratio and b) to establish a working relationship with the new US-based refiner. Both points are good news. I think the reverse split was premature, but we'll just have to wait to see if his optimism is justified.
Dino
Sorry, got an error posting and then it showed up twice. Probably not worth first time.
Dino
Oddly enough, Scarlet, electrowinning does require boiling water. Well, near-boiling.
Dino
Well, we are mining in the Sierra Madre Occidental area.
Dino
Of course it's an estimate. When all of the ore is mined and processed and all precious metals accounted for, then, and only then, can Cesar say how much gold and/or silver per ton of ore was present. The geological structures become understood as that mining continues.
Drill as much or as little as you like, both grade and structure are just estimates until after the fact.
Dino
September 22 was a week ago. Click on the date icon in your systray and a calendar will pop up. It's easy. Try it.
Dino
That's not very likely since it isn't due. yet.
Probably some interest by real investors.
Dino
Naw, just their mentor.
Dino
As far as I can determine, Atzec never operated the mine at all. They did, however, remove anything saleable from the premises.
Dino
I don't know. Perhaps 10-20 feet of overburden too valuable to throw away? I assume that the vein has been uncovered, so now's the time to mill that ore. It doesn't make sense to put it on the pad. So, for as long as the vein lasts, he'll mill.
Dino
I think your information is incorrect.
PT has the balls. The machine just needs a lube job.
Dino
Shouting won't help. It aint gonna happen.
Dino
Good luck to you too. Spend it wisely.
Dino
Where did you hear that? If that's true, it is definitely inside information. Did Debbie or PT call you?
Dino
Funny. After 4 years, you're discouraged. After 10 years, I'm encouraged.
In the 10-Q, the discussion on page 19 is basically what has been announced piecemeal in PRs, but you should really read the discussion on pages 29 & 30 before you make a final decision. Many of the posters on this and other boards have been saying that Mexus can't succeed as a one man business. It needs a Board of Director's oversight, additional on-site management for labor, better financial controls, etc.
The discussion on 29 & 30 says that Paul agrees and those needs will be addressed in the second quarter. I think that a) it will happen, and b) it will help, including in alleviating the confusing messages from management.
Dino
What truck is the "dumb" one, and why are you questioning it's intelligence?
Dino
Like I used to tell my wife, "It might come in handy, someday." After all, you never know when you might need that spline tool or keychain gapping tool or sump pump impeller or excavator or...
Dino
You're right, Weather Dog, A Cat 330 is not a truck.
https://www.cat.com/en_US/products/new/equipment/excavators/medium-excavators/2190244213265353.html
Considering the weather in Caborca is going to be 104F today, this spec was probably a consideration:
"Don’t let the temperature stop you from working. The excavator has a standard high-ambient temperature capability of 52° C (125° F) with de-rate and cold start capability of –18° C (0° F). An optional – 32° C (–25° F) cold start package is available"
Nice rig. I've seen them at a training school along the New Jersey Turnpike. They move a lot of ore in a hurry.
Dino
With spot gold at $2012, it would be hard not to make a profit.
Dino
What makes you think it was easy? 27+ years in the data collection business may have helped me define my searches. You just need to choose key words carefully, discard extraneous hits, modify searches to use new data, etc. Perhaps it's an art as well as a skill, but the basics can be taught.
Dino
Like many professions, the CPAs make it very difficult to find out about complaints against their members. Try finding out if your doctor or lawyer has ever been reprimanded. Just like the AMA or ABA, PCAOB protects it's own.
Sorta like insurance companies. Have you ever seen one that wasn't rated "A" by A.M. Best?
Dino
If you look up the PCAOB, the CPA accrediting board, report on the auditors, you'll see that they were dinged for not checking sales receipts, purchase records thoroughly enough. It's time for their next review, so they're making sure that they'll pass this time.
Apparently, PCAOB thinks that the auditors need to understand the business. By the way, when DCAA audited my old company, they knew as much, sometimes even more about our business than we did.
Dino
I don't think the SEC allows you to audit yourself. They are supposed to be independent.
Dino
In other words, the auditors are incompetent. Their (apparently undeserved) reputation is that they audit many small gold mining companies. Apparently, none of their other clients actually produce any gold.
Dino
Today's weather forecast for Caborca is 112 degrees, sunny and dry. Making it rain would provide a much better working environment and replenish the ponds. Therefor, we should insist that PT make it rain.
That demand is just as logical as insisting that he publish the approved 10-K that he hasn't received from the auditors.
What other impossible tasks would you like him to perform?
Dino
Oops. Must have double-clicked. Sorry.
Dino
Oh yeah, Fred. I forgot to mention that you can get more up to date information on capitalization from https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/MXSG/profile.
Dino
Fred, I've seen a number of "sales on paper." For example, http://mexusgoldus.com/mexus-reports-additional-gold-sales-from-production-at-its-santa-elena-mine/. There have been other PRs announcing gold production and/or sales as well. It's probably easier to find them on the SEC site, https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?CIK=1355677. For a good discussion of what those reports imply as well as what they said, ask to join go4gold.org. A bunch of us "knowledgeable" folks discuss companies and news about gold.
I fully expect to see gold sales reported in both the 10-K and the 10-Q. I'm also sure that Deb is pushing as hard as she can on her end of the string, but the auditors don't seem to notice.
Dino
When the auditors finish asking stupid questions.
Dino
I shall repeat once again, the email from Deb was NOT raising money for the audit. The request was for expenses for transportation of the new 40-ton hauler to the mine site. The email explained that because of the unexpectedly large auditor cost, plus what we now know was other things such as purchasing the hauler, doubling the size of the leach pad, etc., cash was a little short. In order to expedite the transportation, she was looking for an extra $13K.
The problem was solved the following week, probably by the next pour.
Dino
Yup.
They're trying to load up for next week, or maybe recover from this one. They have to deliver those rising shares from yesterday, on which I'm sure they show a loss. If they drive the price down a bit, they can recoup next week as it rises again.
Dino
Most of us moved here from Raging Bull (different ID there)in mid 2011. I started investing in Mexus in mid 2010. It's been a long wait, but I think it'll be worth it.
