well, that IS my circle, so almost all micro and small cap stocks I hear about are from my wall st connections. I had no prior knowledge of any buy back
what? no golfcourse???
the question is, is it waterfront now or was it waterfront pre-Katrina?
where did I claim I have inside information? I did say I was told about the company by someone close to the company.
caught that, didn't you?
no one needs to tell me anything, i've lived it for the past 20+ years.. I do/did this for a living.
yeah, they all get together for drinks and go over their gameplan for pbls. In fact, seeing how each trader probably trades 50-100 different stocks, and conspires to manipulate each and every one of them, they actually call eachother before running any trade on any stock to make sure they adhere to their vast reaching conspiracy. of course , the MM's are super geniuses, so they never put anything in writing , and commit this egregious act of brilliant manipulation upon all unsuspecting investors. It is so much easier to blame the good ol MM's for a losing position than to figure out that you made a dumb investment.
Man cannot fathom the answers to the vast questions of the universe, so he invents God. Gotta blame someone....
well said
cool.. i just think everyone gives MM's way to much credit...although I am sure my definition of a MM is a bit narrower than the general publics definition.
the MM's did not go long the stock..
end of year malaise, resistance at .012, and some accumulation going on here, so if it breaks .012, there's some resistance at .014.
The rebound was strictly technical, I am sure there were plenty of people who didnt want to buy until it started to move back up, and that created some momentum to .012.
no they don't..but actually , i think they did show about 9.6 million in goodwill in the 7/31 announcement. Most people totally discount goodwill in the tangible assets calculations.
I didnt say fire sale it, and it is not neccessarily true that in a sale the sales price would be lower than book value. In fact, that is how the entry for "Goodwill" is created. If you look at companies that actually file, you will see in many cases an entry for "goodwill" , that is when the purchase price of company is more than what it was carried on the books for. Goodwill: In an acquisition, goodwill appears on the balance sheet of the acquirer in the amount by which the purchase price exceeds the net tangible assets of the acquired company.
Liquidation value is the amount it could be quickly sold for. I did not intimate that in my statement.
sell the assets off. distribute to shareholders. Assume I am wrong about the company, that they are as profitable as they say and their books are dead on GAAP. it is well known that holding companies dont generally get a market value commensurate with the value of the sum of the assets. That might be the end game here anyhow.
I will further say that when i said it could go to .12 , thats only IF I am totally wrong on this stock, and that everything the company has said is true.
either its gonna be .12+ or the the feces will hit the fan on this one... its like an option, its all or none..
And with all the stuff I have said about them, the companies are real, and if I am right about their inability to file with the SEC there would still be an exit strategy if they chose to do so, if in fact they are profitable...
nice work..
ahhh.. the LLC is in Nevada, not neccessarily the property.. gotcha
hey I was replying in the same tone as you addressed me
the property is in Nevada , Right? They have an oil and Gas lease IN Nevada, Right? They have no other residential or commercial property interests or experience in Nevada, Right? Dude, I'm incorporated in Nevada. Its as easy as Delaware.
i dont get the same answer on your 2+2 equation. 3D is a La. company, and wouldnt be a real efficient way to expand into Nevada for residential properties. I would hope this new property wouldnt be residential, since the Nevada market is seeing a decline in values. I would think it would be an oil & gas property. Nice way for pbls to adhere to REG FD, btw.
its kinda tight on the supply side of this deal..I personally think, from a strictly technical analysis, we might see a pop (not a real big one, maybe to .014), early in the new year or a little sooner.. its trading in another very tight band. Plus, remember that in the pinks, that MM's Do NOT have to reflect your order.
I am not familiar with that one.
Very interesting. Did he explain why they had to personally guarantee the loan? What type of property, btw?
that will happen until the MM's get a feel for the order flow.
if it is settled, it is settled, and then its done and over...
haven't been watching it today, but a widened spread does at times indicate what you say.
dont be so sure about that.
how did he explain that in regards to the debt settlement agreement?
you need to know what "debt settlement" is..
it should hold support at .008
from your mouth to God's ears.
and how do you know your bid is being reflected by a Market Maker?
odd lot order?
good post. Actually, I did a fair amount of research prior to buying, but I did not look at it with a jaundiced enough eye to catch all the glaring inconsistancies until the market turned sour on this deal.
Of course, this all hasn't played out as of yet. They have until 3/25/07 to file as per their agreement with the former debt holders.
I am 1 of the two things you do not believe.
let me know how that works out for you.
nor should you. I am evil.
huge... and I will make more than any attorney costs will be, plus any fines I would have to pay to the paper tiger known as the SEC, and If I get upside down, I'll just set up shop under some other offshore.... damn this is some good tequila, anyone eever have Corazon anejo???? good stuff!!!
the lawsuit was filed by the SEC, and they get the money. It would be up to harmed individuals to file their own lawsuits.
