Hopester,
I’m glad you chimed in today. I think your prediction of $4 will only happen if the trial results are less than expected. If the results do meet expectations, I think there is virtually zero chance we will ever see $4 again.
I think you should be thinking about getting in again.
And our very own SmileyRiley is quoted in the article.
I guess the good news is we now have the factss that the BLA was submitted.
Chuckles759,
I love the graphics that you add to the end of your posts. They prove the old saying that a picture is worth s 1,000 words.
SmileyRiley,
I have enjoyed your posts. Don’t stay on the sidelines too long.
Hopester,
Since I’ve come to appreciate your more “balanced” assessment of CYDY recently, I’m curious as to where you see the SP 30-45 days from now.
Thanks
Chuckles,
I know at one point you suggested we all donate to help Holly. Currently she is at 34K euros with a goal of 60K. If everyone one on this board donated $10 every time CYDY went up $1, I’m sure we could get her to her goal by the end of August.
I will commit to this (or more). Will others join in the effort to help a Holly and her family?
Chuckles,
I have a similar dynamic with my wife and this stock. I think she suspects I’m spending all of my time in an on-line chat room with a woman named CYnDY. I guess we will all need to bring our wives to the Vegas get together so they can meet the “other” woman.
Chuckles,
Since you are the “King of Research”, I can’t even get my head around what “A LOT OF RESEARCH” looks like on the Chuckles Scale!
Hopester
In my opinion this is your best post ever. It is the first time I have been able to “hear” you. I’m not sure if it was a change in tone or content that helped improve my “hearing”.
When I first read the post, I didn’t pay attention to who wrote it. When I saw it was you, it put a smile on my face.
I appreciated your comments.
Chuckles759
I just want to thank you for all of the work you put into this board. You are a great contributor.
But don’t they also receive the blood test lab results? If they do, I would think they would have a pretty good idea of which patients are on Leronlimab and which are on placebo.
I donated once already but will add more.
It would be nice if we all made some donation every time CYDY went up another dollar. It is brave people like Holly that have made our good fortune possible.
Let’s pay it forward and help her reach her goal.
Bunny3999,
Given the fact that there is so little press about Cytodyn in the US, how did you hear about it in Germany? I live in Vancouver, Washington a few miles from Cytodyn headquarters, when I mention the company to anyone that lives here, virtually no one has heard of them.
Kudos to you for being tuned into the story from the other side of the world.
Bunny3999,
I was thinking you mention you lived in Germany. Sorry if I got that wrong.
Bunny3999 / Sunny
It is good to see you back on the board. The non-US links you provide are very helpful in providing more of a global view for those of us in the US.
I hope all is well in Germany.
Chuckles759
Thanks for the fascinating post on shorts. It is interesting to read about CYDY from the “short” board perspective . I think those of us on the “long” board are in much better shape than our counterparts on the “short” board. CYDY is a bad stock to short right now.
I’m looking forward to another great week on the CYDY train. Too bad the shorts have lashed themselves to the track.
Chuckles759 - Count me in if someone can figure out a way to do it.
Good post from Thoughtful Investing on the Yahoo Board
Institutional Investing End of Day Summary: 6/25 Price $6.15 up 23.25% from yesterday's $4.99 close. Total Vol shot up to 18,492,895, 80% above yesterday's 10,512,451.
Institutional Block Trading Total Vol was 5,036,417 or 1.5 million more than yesterday. But the percent of institutional trading of the total volume was only 27.23%, about 6% less than yesterday's 33.12% and the average trade was smaller, though a solid number at 21,073 vs 24,692 yesterday. There were a couple of 6 figure trades during the day. The price pushed back up to $6.15 on 10-30k trades during the last 8 minutes of trading.
So, it looks to me that institutions are clearly still interested in accumulating prior to the trial result announcement next week but were kind of dragged along by retail investors with the same idea on a nice 23% price up day. The institutions paid up on the last two trades to the $6.15 ask price. They want the stock.
So, where are we? 1-2 trading days to the possible trial result announcement day. There is lots of conviction that the results will be very good, hence the big price move.
Accordingly, tomorrow I would expect more of what we saw today only more so as time is running out to accumulate before the result announcement. Yesterday, I speculated we might be up a dollar or more today. Got lucky and was on target.
Based on the huge jump in volume, I'll press my luck at say I would expect a $2 - 3 jump in share price to $8-9 given that positive news from the trial would reveal the first drug to effectively address worst aspect, death, of the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic, a pandemic that is accelerating and has no other effective treatment.
I am on vacation and so it is difficult to do my usual intraday reports. I dare say we longs are having fun:)

———————————————-
Institutional Investing End of Day Update: Wed 4 pm close $4.99 vs $4.48 yesterday, an 11.38% increase in share price. Total Vol was way up but not quite doubled at 10,512,451 vs 6.044,185 yesterday.
Institutional trading picked up big time over yesterday. The percentage of institutional block trades almost double to 33.12% today vs 17.68% yesterday. Blk trade volume more than tripled at 3,481,583 vs 1,1068,722 yesterday even though volume did not quite double in a significantly rising share price environment. In fact, today's 3.481 million institutional block trades was even a almost a million more that the 2.484 million institutional block trades the last time total volume hit 10 million on 6/22.
A 943,232 share purchase at the $5 ask price late in the day at 3:37:13 pm caught my eye. A couple of small (10k and 12k shares) purchases at the bid price of $4.99 pulled the price below $5 at literally the last seconds of the day (3:59:51 and 3:59:54 pm).
Bottom line is it looks like the institutions are hungry for CYDY. But it appears that they have a long way to go to obtain a significant percentage of the CYDY's 700 million shares (on a fully diluted basis). During the past few weeks, I have noted only about 15.5 million in institutional trades as the price has skyrocketed from about $2.9 to $4.99 today.
Only 2 or 3 more trading days until the results of the severe/critical trial could be published. Based on all the clinical results and biomarker analysis, seem like there is a very good likelihood of a very good result. So I don't expect the price to dip before we see the results. Not to jinx anything, but I would not be surprised to see a close above $5, and maybe way above, tomorrow.
Also, shout out to Jiro for his helpful review of the 56 competitors earlier today. I saw the spreadsheet he referenced. It noted that his top competitive pick was Mesoblast which he noted has manufacturing scaling issues and costs $20K per treatment. I would add that it appears to require IV administration ("MSCs were given as a single intravenous administration at a dose " ://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7163352/), another disadvantage vis a vis leronlimab which, as you know is a simple subcutaneous injection.
Also, I appreciated Jiro's summary of what we can expect from the leronlimab trials which adds up to very successful results:)
LongTkt
Great first post!
What I really enjoy about all of the different approaches people come at the valuation, it always ends up being a very large number. This is just further validation to me that any buyout offer at under $100 would be a huge disappointment.
I’m looking forward to another green day for CYDY tomorrow.
Don’t forget that the cash flow generated from all of these treatments can be used to buy back shares. That can have a huge impact on driving up the price on the remaining shares.

Happy Birthday!
Thanks for predicting this with your chart yesterday. I have a new appreciation for TA.

Dexamethasone for Coronavirus (COVID-19)
LOL
We each get two vials at the door so we don’t have to worry about face masks or social distancing.
I will be there. 5 minutes from my house.
BioInvestor4 - Thanks for posting. I made a donation.
Bobsmob - You may not be a doctor but I find your posts to be some of the most educational on this board.
Thank you for sharing and helping all of us learn about the science.
Hopester,
Please read the disclosure at the end of the article:
Disclosure: I am/we are long CYDY.
BP said something to that effect in one of his interviews. It sounded like they can see the lab reports as the study progresses. While they don’t know which patients are receiving Leronlimab, they can infer it from the numbers. I believe this is at least one of the reasons they are so confident in how the results will come out.
Justdafactss
I would be happy to provide the screen shot of my CYDY position once you post yours.
Rockleo,
Thank you for advocating for your patients and making a positive difference in the world.
Bioinvestor4 - Reading this article just reinforces the need for CYDY to complete the trials and get this drug to market. Beyond any potential return we may earn as shareholders, the world just needs to get out of this hellhole we find ourselves in.
Bunny3999 / Sunny
I just wanted to thank you for all of the information you have been adding to the board. It seems like you come across different things in Germany than we do in the US.

Coronavirus: a new effective drug has been found
Preliminary studies with leronlimab have shown that it is effective in treating people with Covid-19 disease.
Dániel Szabó , Sunday, May 24, 2020, 12:52 p.m.
CytoDyn, the developer of leronlimab, has received an emergency license from the FDA to treat patients with coronavirus. In their current publication, they published data on the effectiveness of the treatments using the preparation, according to an article in the Medical Training Review .
On March 9, CytoDyn requested that the drug be tested for the treatment of patients with coronavirus, which was also given to them by the U.S. Pharmaceutical Authority under the Emergency Use Protocol. Data from nine previous and ongoing clinical trials have shown that leronlimab inhibits the migration of regulatory T cells to the site of inflammation, thereby reducing one of the most dangerous consequences of coronavirus infection, the cytokine storm induced by inflammatory cytokines. That is, in essence, the body can effectively regulate its own excessive immune response.
As of April 30, a total of 49 coronavirus patients had been treated with the product, so CytoDyn published the condition of the patients, which showed that the medicine was effective, especially in patients in crisis and in need of breathing. More than half of the artificially ventilated patients could be removed from the respirators.
Data from a further 10 patients have not yet been received, and a further 5 patients have been authorized for treatment with leronlimab, so that the effect of the study drug can be assessed based on the condition of at least 54 patients.
In the recent period, test results have been published for an increasing number of active substances. Thus, in addition to tozilicumab, an experimental drug called remdesivir may be effective, while hydroxychloroquine, prosthetic by U.S. President Donald Trump, may be more harmful .
Keynote Speaker
When we have our $10 SP celebration, I think we should have a keynote speaker. Possible topics I would like to see the speaker explored are:
Has the BLA really been submitted?
Who are the top 5 law firms in the US?
Did NP get rich on his “pump and dump”?
Does CYDY hold ANY patents?
Are there really short sellers of CYDY?
If you know anyone that could speak knowledgeably on these deep topics, please share their names. I suspect their services are in high demand and we should try to book them ASAP!
Totally agree that exposure does not equal infection.
I own a healthcare company where one of our patients tested positive for COVID 19. Five of our caregivers were exposed to the patient. Fortunately none of them tested positive. Good infection control practices make a difference.
I would love to attend a $10 SP party - Hayden Island in Portland, Vegas, or wherever.
LOL
That might be all the motivation Trump needs to get Leronlimab approved.
bobshmob - great explanation!
There are some really smart people on this board with a great diversity of skill sets and backgrounds.
