Hello Chevy, great to see you as always. I enjoy reading Spellbounds articles and just found out; the bad news will be shared with us in the great white north.
Mary
Hello Spellbound, I had really hoped that there was not going to be a united front. LOL.
Mary.
Hello Spellbound. In the oil patch we have so many oil companies trying to start up production it would just blow your mind, and it grows daily. If you look at the situation we were a community off 32,000. I have no idea how many people are in town or living in camps. A year or so ago a guess estimate was over 100,000 not including men living in camps. We can not move any quicker as we need bridges, new airport, water, sewerage, electricity, miners, firemen, police, nurses, teachers, construction workers, trades people, professionals the list is endless. Men will not come here and live indefinitely in a camp they want their families so until we can house families we are stuck in an endless problem. The problem is so wide spread I hear it will take decades to get this under control. I can see $15 a barrel just because of what I see happening with the oil that we have. We have the oil but getting it out of the ground seems to be a growing problem. We can not move forward until all the utilities and infrastructure has been addressed and we can not fix that problem until we have labor. The nightmare grows I am sorry to say.
Mary.
Hello Spellbound, thank you for this link. I printed the whole link last night and read it this morning with my tea.
Hopefully the author believes this is the future of the USA and that it does not apply to me in the great white north.
Mary.
Hello Max, Mountain Time would be 2.00-3.00pm. The Markets close here at 2.00pm so it would also be quite difficult to use happy hour. When I had my free membership I fell upon happy hour by luck. I really do not use my membership to the extent possible, like everyone else I have too many things to do and insufficient time to accomplish anything. (ops) I mean everything. LOLOL.
We have a radio show that sends out warnings that it is cold. I have no idea why. Just open the door and see if your hand freezes to the outside handle. Ok, if you still do not get it then try to open the car door and when your hand freezes to the handle; wake up!!
Mary.
Max, yes I agree. Perhaps even an hour each day over the weekend. It is remembering it is Friday and Happy Hour that is the trick. I can not even keep my days straight never mind remember the hour.lolol.
Mary.
Friday, 4-5pm EST Happy Hour.
Hello Max, Friday is the happy hour. I will check to see the time zone for you. Mary.
Max how could you do that, you had me convinced this was Friday. NOooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
hello Max, I am just grand. As Captain of a Spaceship I must say Friday always looks good.
Great to see you on board. Mary.

Analysts said that despite the move of some investors to take profits from record high prices late on Thursday, the metal was poised to set new peaks in the coming months.
"Platinum prices continue to rise as energy supply in South Africa has not improved substantially," said Michael Widmer, metals analyst at Lehman Brothers.
"We forecast another supply shortfall in 2008 and therefore keep our short-term price target at $2000/oz," he said.

Mary.
Hello Million, I will keep my fingers crossed.. Mary.
Hello Ergo, my hope is that KL will learn from his prior mistakes with MGMX. With his new learning curve hopefully KL can pull together all the paper work required and that a senior geologist is standing ready to put his stamp onto some good news; until such time I doubt we will get anything concrete from KL.
My best wishes always. Mary.
Ergo Looks like you dropped into a battle field. LOL. No matter it is good to see you again.
Mary
Bibiche we love you Americans and we love your weather..lolo
Mary.
Hahhaha. ok bibiche.
With the temperature at minus 45 it is hard to keep the brain from freezing over..lol. Mary.
Hello Dryden, I hope you do win the lottery soon and remember your old friends. LOL
You are a respected member of this board and I am always happy to see you posting and recognize the value of your words. Getting almost $2 per share was a wise move on your part.
There was a time in the past when this board had members who were friendly and cordial to each other and this was a place for people to drop by and share freely information with each other without condemnation.
I can only hope one day we might be able to build back this community where people once again will be happy to drop in and either share information or feel free to just say hi.
My best wishes always.
Mary.
Bibiche, my hidden talent.
Mary.
Members, here is some 'OLD INFORMATION' forwarded onto me by an old friend who used to be a regular poster on the board.
Those members who like myself have lost a large sum of money on this stock (mgmx) and have chosen to sit it out for better or for worse I can only say have a little faith and hope for the best. This post is for members like myself who are sitting on the sidelines it is not an endorsement to anyone to buy.
BWNR - BROWNSTONE RESOURCES, INC. - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=BWNR.PK - Goal is $4.80 by close on Friday 12/07/2007
RECENT NEWS -
Brownstone Announces Property Acquisition
Monday November 19, 8:30 am ET
TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 19, 2007 -- Brownstone Resources Inc. (Other OTC:BWNR.PK - News), a junior mineral resource exploration and development company, announces that as part of the company's ongoing restructuring and building efforts, the company has entered into an LOI/option agreement to acquire a 50% interest in a group of prospective uranium mining claims. The 14 claims are located just outside of the town of Elliot Lake, in the Sault Ste Marie mining district of Northern Ontario, Canada.
The town of Elliot Lake and the surrounding areas are well known for hosting significant mineral deposits, and are home to several large scale mining operations for copper and uranium.
During the past few years the areas that surround Elliot Lake have been the focus of intense geophysical surveying programs conducted by the Canadian government's Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (report titled; "Recommendations for Mineral Exploration 2005-2006" MNDM) as well as countless independent follow up programs that have been conducted by several mid to large sized mining companies.
The purpose of the MNDM report was to provide a better understanding of the geological compositions of the area, to make recommendations, and to help "stimulate and facilitate mineral exploration and the sustainable development of Ontario's mineral resources" (MNDM 2005-2006 report).
The results and recommendations of the government survey has lead to increased prospecting and surveying, which has lead to an unprecedented amount of claims being staked in the area, in 2007.
"We are excited about the prospects of the Iron Bridge group of claims. The entire area, covering hundreds of square kilometers, has been teaming with mining activity; hopefully we can be part of the success stories still to be written. Our team is continuing to build a portfolio of promising exploration and development stage mineral resource properties, and the Iron Bridge claims fit right in with what we are doing. Ultimately we hope to provide our shareholders with the measured leverage and exposure that will enable them to benefit from the increases occurring in the price of gold and uranium. There's more to come from Brownstone...we are in negotiations with another great prospective gold mining property, here in Canada, so we hope to have something on that sooner rather than later," said company president Ken Lamb.
The company will make further announcements on acquisitions and developments of the properties, as the information becomes available.

Hello Million, I think a lot of people have sold and moved on, but I also know a lot of others have become lurkers and do not wish to post but would rather just wait and watch.
Best wishes Mary.
ps thank you for your faithfulness in posting daily.
Hello Elton, I think KL said that he would be releasing information in the early part of 2008. I am sure he understands all the rules applying to the SEC and should be taking the appropriate steps to ensure that he is in good standing. Any shareholders requiring additional information should contact KL by email or by phone.
Take care,
Mary.
Hello Sam, thank you for taking the time to post the information regarding the SEC. Posting informative information makes the board a good place to visit so that we can all have a learning experience.
Best wishes
Mary.
Hello Dryden great to see you on board, you know the old saying “The larger the wheel the slower it turns” I would say that applies to any government agency. If you owe the government money they will contact you today but otherwise who knows how long it took the agency to get to the ‘A’ section. Some of the ‘A’ list date back to the year 2000. It is really just a guess on anyone’s part when they will continue on to the ‘B’ list.
best wishes Dryden,
Mary.
Hello Spell, I think gold at $2000 is not the top figure for a bull market.
As always I appreciate you sharing your hard work with people like myself who find it more and more difficult to find the time to search out good valuable information.
Best wishes always Mary.
I would say that you and Chevy have been very close too. Mary,.
ok Bibiche I take it all back. :)
Mary.
Chevy don't let bibiche deceive you he is French, they are very socially inclined. The French have a wonderful social back ground even here in Canada. The French Province in Canada support wonderful social programs for children and the unfortunate people who require assistance and for anyone who has special needs.
The French people in general are very liberal and I would suspect that bibiche is very much like his forefathers. It would not surprise me one bit if it turned out that bibiche is the most liberal poster on this board. You can tell by his very cordial communications and his considerate manner as he attempts to not insult any of the other posters, he is a gentle man at all times with a heart of Gold.
Oh bibiche did I give you away…lol. I promise to take it all back.
Best wishes Chevy, missed you.
Mary
Bibiche I was visiting your fair land (Seattle) Good to be back and glad to see you have been keeping Spell company since I left.
Mary.
Hello Spell, there has been a decline in both affordable gold and oil. The more intelligent management teams with the help of government incentives have developed or invest in both new technology and have reinvented their now highly sophisticated work force. It is really truly irrelevant if the mine is underground or an open faced pit the same rules apply equally in either case.
Not too long ago it cost approximately $10.00 to extract oil from sand and at the same time $5 for the Saudis to produce a barrel of oil. Today without a sophisticated workforce and the most up to date technology a mine can not survive the future of an escalating oil price.
Pits are moving further away from conveyer belts and extraction plants. Heavy equipment cost millions of dollars to purchase one piece and a fantastic amount of diesel to operate 24/7. If the reinvesting in both technology and the training of their work force has not commenced years ago I just can not imagine how it is possible to make the drastic changes required to survive in this present day/future of $100+ oil price.
Many good mines have been plundered in the past and currently in the present. Any government who has not invested in their countries mines and their miners will pay dearly for this neglect.
What we are witnessing in S.A. is a multifaceted situation that I believe will surface in the not too distant future in many other countries.
Best wishes Mary.
