WOW - what caused our precipitous decline today?
Did we present at another event today?
NVAX, MRNA, INO - all up today.
Is it the shorts trying to pull it under $8? I am tired of the shorts being blamed.
I agree with Chxal (and 1776 ) - we have a 10 cent gain on "9 for 9" news then give it away times 5 in the following days. DOH.
I took solace in the the $7 "offer" as a floor but NOW this is probably out window as we've increased our liabilities/risk via acquisitions in 2020 and this "company" that made offer will probably baulk now.
I say we put a blind ad up on Craigslist to sell this puppy. 20 cents on the $!?
SOLD!
Thursday Thought 'o Day....
1. I wonder if SRNE employees worked from home over last year OR did they take one of our "cures" and continued to come to work?!
2. I also wonder how many or our now 502 employees (per yahoo profile page) have taken one of our competitors' vaccines?
3. Are there any anti-body or vaccine company policies dictating employee submission or proof?
Ahhh, great minds think alike 1776,
Just yesterday, I faxed a letter to our "Investor Relations" and Bill Farley - Biz. Dev. VP asking them to revise status / provide more detail, asking these questions for the following on our pipeline page:
1. COVITRACE - pipeline claims "Application Expected" - What does this even mean? Can you add dates here?
2. COVISTIX - When was this submitted? Is this being sold in other countries if blocked / not approved here in USA?
3. COVITRACK; In final manufacturing and clinical testing - This hasn't changed in months just as items above, SO my questions were: a. How many were made? b. Are they being sold or are they sitting somewhere? c. Where are they? d. Or - is this statement a farce (nothing has been made)?
@@@
I do leave my contact info and have yet to hear back. I've asked if there are company policies which prevent return communication but this hasn't been addressed either. I don't expect to hear anything back but perhaps my snarky faxes may kindle at least a pilot light flame under the buttocks of someone?

Importantly - what was flavor of choice last night one may ask after sending such a pertinent correspondence?
It was a Miller High Life while a frozen Palermos pizza with pickles on top was in over and followed that up with a Keystone Light! My wife enjoyed the pizza!
Hello StockTrader -
My first investment in SRNE was back in 2016 - how ironic - it was then in the $7s also!
It then proceeded to dump under 6, 5, 4, 3 and then sub $2! DOH! Yes - I bought all the way down to dollar cost avg. and to hopefully recoup losses sooner.
5 yrs later - we are at $7.XX.
My question now is what is definition of "later on"?
This hurts for us to loose half of our value in just 2 months. We've been told wait until next month for 14 months now...then it was the shorts and Ji was going to burn them bad. Then it was the optimism of lawsuit, etc. I dared to dream but I've given this warping 5+years already.
Not picking on you but is your thought on this timeframe?
I agree with Chxal - COVID boat pulled away and now we are stuck with bunch of cool TMs.
We are back to potential non-opioid / cancer meds after being diverted with shiny object called COVID.
Again, I hope SRNE can pull a rabbit out of its hat but market and s/p is saying nope! right now...I'd love my negativism be shoved down my throat but alas...
I hope $7 is floor!?
Wow,
I take it you are out of SRNE due to their inability to get anything across finish line?
Or, are you still in?
Buying at this level or sitting tight with what you have?
Thanks for any input.
I am VERY concerned.
Hello Chxal,
GREAT idea to become more proactive. I know many of my posts are whiny at times but my way of venting...
I understand - we all can get frustrated as other bio-companies who started after us, speed by with success! Each day that passes presents more risk to our investment in SRNE that we will not have anything approved. Hence my heightened anxiousness and whiny... Things are re-opening whether some like it or not. The boat had pulled away from the dock and we are that drunk tourist waving from shore to come back!
I like my process of faxing the astute posts / observations / questions from this message board to SRNE HQ. I simply address them to Investor Relations, or Bill Farley VP-Biz Dev., or Shawn Sahebi SVP, Strategy and Analytics....
I like faxing as it forces someone to pick it up from machine, possibly read it as it is being delivered too addressee. I do leave my contact info but have never heard.
I've also pinged our IR Contact form asking who is monitoring this portal and what is their position within SRNE.
Further asking who is responsible for lack of web info such as submission dates, details on our multiple alliances, info on Brazil, info on pending litigation, etc.
ALL these types of details assist with your proactive spotlight approach Chxal - that search engines pick up this activity, the new content, etc. - further helping our cause. You contacting analysts and reporters - WOW - even better!
GL in your new honorary IR position at SRNE Chxal! I want a status report on my desk by 9AM CST this Friday! There will be a cold, frosty Miller High Life waiting for you!
Hey RunCaly,
Appreciate the response and time to assess and support the positive aspects of SRNE. You, too, are one of the positive posters on board and it does help me take a 2 or 3" step back from ledge.
I am venting with hopes perhaps someone may hear at SRNE. In addition to my faxes to company - I often screenshot posts from us and send as is to their HQ and many on board ask pertinent questions / raise valid points.
Bad use of their time to respond to concerned investor? No, I think not. If we begin to just walk away, down goes their source of income when they sneak in another dilution of shares which was SOP 2 years back!
Just when we began to climb up in s/p - POW! Kidney punch! Market flooded w/ new shares. Are you kidding me!? Looks like I drive my Chevette for one more year!
All these alliances with other companies we have ownership in - what is it adding to our bottom line? Are we benefitting from them? Would our s/p be at 2 buck-chuck if not for these "relationships"? Again, just venting.
Yes - I know Dr. Ji is way more successful than I'll ever be. He is at helm of a billion $ company.
Me - just hoping I can pay for my next 18 pack of Kidney Stones (Keystone Lights) or Natty Lights.
I am in for long run. I've come this far and my wife just shakes her head...
Hello WOW,
How are you?
So - do you think SRNE will ever get a product to market? I am very pessimistic.
Why can't they get anything over finish line? Are you concerned?
If they can't get 1 of their COVID items approved, we will go back to $3 or lower IMO. We will be hammered the first product that gets a thumbs down. The other concern I have is COVID squandered precious resources and they moved the cancer / non-opioid products to back burner. Is this concern for you?
1. In short - are you still optimistic on SRNE?
2. Do you think they will have any of their COVID products approved for market?
3. If so - when?
4. Are you still in SRNE?
Thanks WOW.
PS: Again, thanks for the VCEL info back in 2016.
Chxal,
I feel your pain. My patience is gone - I appreciate those who continue to remain (+); 1776, etc.
I often wake up hoping for something popped in overnight. Then just shake my head when there is nothing as the anxiousness hits a little bit higher than it did the previous day when there was nothing too.
I see in the their job postings there is a post for an Investor Relations person?
Been there for some time as others on this board have seen the position. This still does not explain why we don't have any news, good or bad on anything.
I've faxed the HQ asking them to update the status of items on the pipeline page and questioning WHY there is nothing when you search "BRAZIL" or "Court" or "Mayo" - a website is the most important marketing tool you have since it can be updated daily but yet ZIP is mentioned for any of these important items.
Is it company policy to be quiet? Is it being inept? Is it not urgent nor important in the board's opinion to update this sort of info and just keep head to grindstone?
My theory is - if we do have products in queue ready to hit the market running; we would have seen samples, packaging, LEAKS - we have nothing.
Each day that goes by I feel more and more snookered. I recall pictures of some packaging and seeing our product run in a manufacturing line but those were gone as quickly as any mention of a new alliance.
Last night I searched Chinese sites to see if I could stumble across a company touting its manufacturing relationship with Sorrento and found this: https://www.52wmb.com/buyer/21764693 but data stops at 2017.
Again - started buying in way back in 2016 in the $6-7 range then more when this sum-bitc7 went sub=$2. Held all ever since even thru spikes - always hoping the cancer portfolio would come to fruition sprinkled with some non-opioid pain relief on top.
PLEASE take a buyout! Something hit!? Make me eat my words and concerns Dr. Ji.! Plz!
Since reciting approval by Cali. to do clinical testing as noted 12/8/20, are we in running for an announcement today, 3/22/21? See note # 3.
Sorry if this has been discussed / in prior posts:
Biden administration preps national COVID-19 testing strategy: 3 notes
Morgan Haefner - Monday, March 8th, 2021 Print | Email
The Biden administration is set to launch the country's first formal national testing strategy, according to Politico.
Three things to know:
1. The strategy includes launching COVID-19 testing hubs that will coordinate a $650 million expansion of COVID-19 testing, according to the report.
2. The first hub could open in April. The hubs are part of a public-private partnership that could increase national monthly testing by 25 million tests, two sources familiar with the plans told Politico. The federal plan includes creating a list of preferred COVID-19 tests.
3. The Biden administration plans to request applications from diagnostic manufacturers, labs and healthcare groups to run four coordination hubs across the U.S., with contracts awarded by March 22, according to Politico. The hubs would be in place for at least six months.
Read more here.
Thank you Stocktrader, I appreciate the link.
While it was optimistic from Dr. Ji's point of view - I do hope he is right. I would have thought something would have popped within a year - wouldn't you? Other companies have products in marketplace and we all started at same time - exactly 1 yr ago.
These two response found within your link mirror my current sentiment:
---> "Test approval expected any moment." Honestly I've heard this for quite long time. Still hope, but not that high anymore.
---> I’ve heard about test approval for months now shorts took advantage of hearing about a test that may never develop
We need something now. The clatter about the Stix and at home tests never being approved are beginning to ring true. All they did was suck up valuable internal resources and made other products that much further out on the horizon.
Hard to remain positive and I really want to be wrong.
SRNE - please prove me wrong or take one of those "hostile" takeover bids?
Hmmmm, Mr. Chicken, you bring up a very valid point.
Ironically, I have a group of friends who run around like "Chicken Littles" (no offense ChickenHawk) about how bad this pandemic is, that we have the same # of people dying everyday as died when the towers went down, etc., etc.
I then point out this stat I pulled together back in Dec. 2020 for one of these friends:
This really perplexes me-- the USA (at that time) had 312,000 total deaths.
The world had 1.6million deaths total as of 12/17/2020.
The USA represents 4% of world population - but we are responsible for 19.5% of all deaths so far?
I can understand the communist countries under counting their results but are you willing to tell me those "progressive" countries who sport socialized/nationalized healthcare systems the Biden Administration so wants to emulate is not reporting accurate numbers too!? That could never be case - or could it? Are these countries not on top of their game? OR are they actually doing a better job at defining a TRUE COVID death than the good 'Ol USA had been doing BUT just happened to be going through a very contentious national election and more deaths = bad for orange man?
@@@@ HHHHMMMMMmmmmm...
So why does US not allow home tests?
Would we find that the % of negative results from these AH tests can't extrapolate to USA being responsible for 20% of worldwide deaths? Or is it simply a control situation or is it the user interface and reporting of results that can't be "shared". Or did our test simply STRIKE Out and Dr. Ji does not want to tell us?
Many would consider this post tin-foil hat sort of thing but my analytical mind certainly wonders.
Meanwhile, we still have nothing across the finish line and this worries me.
Someone at SRNE please prove me wrong and make me eat crow! I would love to do so, washing it down with a Milwaukee's Best!
Chxal,
Spot on...each day we don't have anything cross finish line, we loose.
At end of this "pandemic" - all we will have are some cool Trademarks filed next to a bunch of patents.
You are also spot on that too many Americans want government telling them how/what/when.
I really hope we get an offer for SRNE so this can just be over.
STIX is DOA. Next to be pronounced DOA: Trace or Track or BOTH?
1776, Hello On St. Pat's Day!
RE: CEO Henry Ji B Riley interview info you posted.
WOW - now I know why our s/p goes down each time Dr. Ji speaks or is about to! That was painfully hard to ramble thru and I understand the Co. and its offerings. A person not attached to SRNE would say forget reading article / listen and move on IMO.
Now - more importantly - the "Banquet Beer" is also know as Coors Original.
It was called this as it was served to miners in CO in large banquet halls during the gold rush way back when. Unlike Coors Light, Bud Light, Miller, etc. these marcos can come from any one of 5 - 7 different breweries across the US under their respective umbrellas (InBev/ Molson-Coors). However, Coors original comes from only 1 brewery in Golden, CO.
Cheers to all - Andecker.
Hi 1776,
Oddly - while I concur with you that none of the "Big 3" have a solution for the variants / mutants - we were in the red today and they all were in the green and people are beginning to bet on them:
VBIV
3.07%
MRNA
+8.60%
NVAX
+2.19%
Novavax’s vaccine is also in a Phase 2b trial against the South Africa variant of the virus. Perhaps it is a lack of awareness of such companies - say - SRNE!
Meanwhile, we have a bunch of TM's, patents, alignments and agreements with some learned institutions and absolutely nothing that has crossed the finish line. Needed results yesterday. Each day that passes, we lose. We've heard "...the pipeline is awesome..." and its the shorts, just wait until December, 2020 for news, wait for the arbitration decision, wait for the results from Brazil, - you get my point.
Something needs to be announced. I am more pessimistic each day. Again - please make me eat crow and everyone can give me a big "I told you so!" - would love it. I've been here since 2016. Opportunity cost is now getting best of me.
So what pairs well with my poor attitude this evening? I've decided to crack open a stubby of the "Banquet Beer". Who knows what this beer is?
Cheers!
Interesting theory ChickenH.
It makes sense - I do see people would say "nothing to see here..." and go in to hiding if they test positive.
This could possibly be rectified by a robust app which is what I believe is required for these tests.
A UPC is scanned at POS/giveaway. The total number out in market would be known and can be then be tracked down just as states like NY and CA did to its citizens if they left state. Or, it could be more regimented - where a test is assigned to a person. But - could shenanigans also be part of equation? I guess so just as some ask others to pee in a cup for them!
So stix and trace are DOA and/or never had a chance?
Doh! as Homer would say.
Prove me wrong SRNE - Plz or put a for up for sale sign in front lawn.
Whoa - shame on you Mr. Caly....
referencing Speedy Gonsalez is now bad like Dr. Seuss books, Uncle Ben, Pepe Le Pue (sp?)....you are correct, Donald would not have done that...but I digress...
I concur - we need haste right now. Brandy is spot on - Dr. Ji may be a great scientist but we don't need future sources of income from part ownerships in other companies - we need something NOW.
1776 - what made you conclude no EUA for our COVID items? Too many other smaller companies have now eaten our lunch? I concur 110%.
Chxal and Brandy!
Could not agree more - each day I hear more and more places opening up. This is bitter sweet as I am glad for us re-opening life again but with each state announcing mask mandates are ending - I feel SRNE has missed the boat with its, "...our products are better..." but we get ZERO things to market!
But wait - what about the variants and the countries still having difficulties and # of cases increasing!?
Again, we have nothing approved - what country would sign up with us when we have 3 companies making vaccines by the millions now.
Yup - new TMs and agreements but nothing comes to fruition in the 4+ years I've waited!
Patience yes but please please make me eat crow SRNE!
I'll blame it all on the shorts.
Hello Mr. Macchio,
Over last several weeks, I have faxed letters to SRNE HQ, asking for them to provide more info on our pipeline.
IE: Covi-Trace notes state: "FDA Emergency Use Author. (EUA) Application Expected" - I questioned - what does this actually mean - Application Expected?? Is a SRNE employee running to the mailbox each day hoping an application to submit our product finally arrives?
STIX states: FDA Emergency Use Author. (EUA) Application Submitted" - When, to whom? Any updates? If an NDA has been signed - can we at least state that it has and we are in quiet period?
MEANWHILE - we get beat by Rite-aid as they have an FDA approved test kit sitting on their shelves (albeit - a hefty price tag on it - but how did they get approval?!?!?! - When was their kit sent in for review?).
Type in "Brazil" in our web's search function and nothing comes up.
Same results just a different year, month, week. Hurry up and wait while the bully on the beach kicks sand in our face BUT we have some really cool TMs, patents, handshakes and agreements.
But look at the institutional investors!
Blackstone CEO is a snake and while he bought lots of our shares - I really wonder if he benefited from our nearly 50% slide last month and is one of those shorts we blame our woes on? Don't trust him.
Here is another concern:
We have many people claiming we saw the Stix on production line in the motherland (China), we've seen packaging concepts which we quickly removed, UPS pilots using our products, we have rumors our tests needed custom apps to narc (I meant - report) to government the test results of our tests, etc., etc.
So - what is my concern?
When I sourced product in China - we had an entire team head over, we had press checks, product reviews, proofs and samples heading back and forth - am I to believe that SRNE, the manufacturer, government officials, all the disgruntled employees who have left in the last year, word of mouth insider trading, etc. - No one has SQUAWKED and said, "...look at this cool thing we will have approved!?"...nothing has broken through these lines to show us we will have a new product release by April 1, 2021? Hmmmm....
Look what happens when Apple is testing a new phone? Its worker bees leave them sitting at bars and feature highlights are released "mistakenly" to build anticipation. Toyota infiltrates the ranks of GM to steal designs and technology - new car pre-production models are photographed 12 months prior to market in Alaska! And we have nothing...?
So - I know what you are thinking - what pairs well with my negative attitude this fine Wednesday?
I'll tell you - it will be Coors Light or Miller Lite on tap tonite a it is our last snowmobile club meeting for the season! Cheers to all - I hope to wake up with a slight headache and an approval Thursday AM!?!
HI WOW,
Talk me off the ledge with SRNE!
Do you feel the decline in S/P shows a larger internal issue?
Have you sold off any or is this buying opportunity for you?
Do you think they will be getting an approval on ANY of their COVID
products OR do we simply have a bunch of fancy Trademarks that we can take to bank?
I've been with SRNE since 2016.
Only have bought and never sold.
I am concerned now.
Thoughts?!
1776, my last comment was not trying to call you out or other.
Was hoping to get insight fro you and others more intelligent than I to talk me off ledge.
So disappointed right now.
Buying 100$ Million company - out of the blue?
Why can't we get anything across finish line?
Hope is not a strategy but feels like this all I've got... sad.
Hello All,
Are we bag holders? Have we missed the boat on COVID anything and now we are being punished having our SP go from $16 to $8.9X in a few weeks? Why? We've heard the cause is all the evil "shorts" but we've been hearing that for 1.5 years.
Then it is well - be patient, December will be the month! The lawsuit will be finalized and we will have EUA or two - yippee! Blast off! then it was Jan, then Feb and now March! Hold tight it's ready - look at our pipeline! Look at all the job postings. Look at the institutional
I was excited to see our SP head to $15+ - gradual and steady with a few down days but wow - I have lots of shares and was thinking - has our time arrived!?
Then what happened!? Losing $7 per share over the last couple weeks? Even further down after a few PRs this week alone?
SO...my question - what to do now!?
Patience and don't look for a few weeks/months as posters here have suggested?
Hope For a Buyout!?
I would LOVE a buyout to end this misery. I am in for almost 5 years.
Think of the opportunity cost of this money being tied up here. I bought on the onion and cancer portfolio then in comes COVID and precious resources are stolen internally from getting anything across finish line to the pipe dream of becoming a COVID hero only for ZERO items to cross finish line!!?
People say look at the institutional buyers! Blackrock! WOW again! Blackrock is a snake - are they making more money on the fall in S/P than they anticipate to make in the S/P appreciation? In their US Biotechnology UCITS ETF - they own Amgen, Gilead, MODERNA, Vertex, Biogen, Seage, Astrazeneca...
I don't trust their CEO - FINK. Is his name befitting of his intentions?
SO - I AM PONDERING...I am in this this so long and I HOPE the floor is $7 due to prior offers - do I load the boat!? Move this puppy to 50% of my portfolio and swing for the fence!?!
Anyone doing this?! If all hype is true - This is a sure bet! Isn't it?
As Ricky Bobby says - If you ain't first, you are last! I am feeling that way now.
People may also be asking right now - what beer pairs well with SRNE S/P?
Good question!
I stepped it up tonite at the Biere Stubbe by my house.
This evening, I paired today's stock price loss with a German offering by the name Weihenstephaner Hellas. I am typically a light pilsner person but given the fact we ,lost even more $$ today - I thought I'd step it up. It was very good.
Thanks for reading my rant! I appreciate any thoughts on swinging for the fence? Parsing back current holdings as this puppy could be heading back to $3 or stop looking for few weeks and hope for the best?!
1776 - any input or thoughts?
1776,
Yup - 'stones refers to the cheap beer - Keystone. A Miller/Molson/Coors product. Again, just trying to be witty....I am about value but occasionally splurge.
My wife has begun to really enjoy Malbecs. We have many in inventory. I do agree - they are tasty. Wife doesn't like sweet wines and Malbecs tend to be less sweet and very favorable to me. I, too, love the chocolates but have not heard of your Theobroma cacao.
RE: SRNE - I do weigh heavily on fact that institutions have added shares of SRNE and continue to do so. It is the only solace I have right now. More are buying in than leaving. I do agree, they have a little more pull and access than we peons do. At what point, however, do they begin to look elsewhere to invest money? How much time will be given to SRNE before they look elsewhere? I've been patient since 2016but will they give that much time?
We heard Dec 2020 was THE month - we were suppose to have a settlement on lawsuit, news, etc. etc. then first half of Feb., with such things as we have som much in hopper, PR's should be coming daily, sucks to be short, I feel sorry for the shorts....etc. etc. Well, they stole my lunch $ again and by the time we have anything COVID related approved - picnic will be over. Here in WI - we had 540 news cases out of 5.4mm on Monday. I believe we are on backside of bell curve sliding down fast.
You say - what about the new variants? Will SRNE products work here? Am I to believe we would have approval to fight a mutant version/s but it wasn't approved to fight the original Wuhan version that did all the damage? Hmmm.
I really hope I eat crow with my pessimism! I like to day dream SRNE products will come to fruition and we blast off! That 5+ years of this will be over. soon....
Hi 1776,
Good find by Paul & Ola - I am glad we are educating ourselves as we balance the little tidbits of info found on SRNE with the concern our money DOA?
1776, I like your snarky post/s. I had exact same thought with another patent filing for the records books. We will be filing those next to all the Covid TMs we have, put the patents in the safe box next to the TMs, wait 5-10 years and sell them on eBay.ca (since China will be world's economic leader at that time...).
I say such things in jest but have a serious concern in the attempt at humor.
Each morning I open up my mail and HOPE I see an additional email from SRNE in addition to our Stock Quote Notification for Sorrento Therapeutics. But alas, what did we realize 13 years ago? Hope is not a strategy.
So, what's in your orange juice this AM 1776?
I can get a 18 pack of 'Stones for $7.99. Have you tried Keystone in your OJ?
@@@@ Cheers!
Hey Paul,
It's funny - I have a 92 year old woman I help with chores and friendship. She concurs with you!
Every 30 days I go to the store and get her a 30 pack of Busch - regular strength!
She has one a day. Thinks light beer, is well - not good. We will leave at that!
Cheers!
Yasi!
Great find and a 2/19 date. WOW.
Someone had found this UPS info a couple weeks ago but no news with it. People wrote it off...
Nice news link on a Friday. Thx for sending.
...I hope you weren't get too tired of my negative posts with 1776 / Chxal. Just getting nervous nothing crossing finish line.
Hmmm, interesting Mr. Club.....
Just as we were thinking they need to put all the COVID aside and focus back on oncology - you share info on FISH. Certainly not COVID related!?
https://www.webmd.com/cancer/fish-cancer-test
I wonder what will happen to SP as 1 by 1 we miss the boat on the COVID items? Perhaps this is why noting is being updated on website? I shudder to think this - we will be back down the the $7 floor - if there ever was can offer....
On the plus side, we will still have those cool Covid TradeMarks! We can take those to the bank and put them in a safety deposit box then pull them out in 10 years and sell them in the eBay.ca!
Hello 1776 and Others,
Ha - didn't know that about the lime. Funny story - my wife and I went to Irishfest here in Milwaukee a few years back (remember outdoor festivals!?) and she ordered a Corona! I just shook my head as the barkeep leaned over and told her in thick Irish accent, "....look missy, you are at Irishfest. You don't order a Corona and IrishFest! ...AND if your beers requires fruit to make them taste good, you are drinking the wrong kind of beer!" I just kept my mouth shut!! 'nuf said, 111% in agreement!
@@@@
Actually - you meant TRACK says "In final manufacturing and clinical testing"....which changed about a month ago as noted yesterday.
Odd, as we saw the STIX assembly line humming along in the motherland (China). Was this just a test run? Why doesn't STIX say final manufacturing as we saw it on an assembly line not TRACK in production.
How in the world can we have products in final manufacturing and no pictures of the packaging, a sales deck .PPT for sales to use as they begin knocking on doors, a PR from the company doing the manufacturing or APP software development team announcing, "...we are pleased to be selected by Sorrento as their premier manufacturing/programming partner..." OR even purchase orders for raw materials and packaging components. This takes weeks / months - to get an assembly line up and running. NONE of this has leaked out yet? Really? Look at Apple and GM - pix of their prototypes pop up all the time prior to even green lighting a product.
More concerning is TRACE noting "....application expected" What does this even mean? Not one person could update this to state application applied for on:_______. Or is SRNE aggressively awaiting for the FDA to mail them the application??
Two things come to mind: SUPER Duper inept or "mums the word - sign this NDA or lose your job/contract if you talk or release a prototype sketch..."?!? Hmmm,
Been buying SRNE since 2016. I am long but a bit pessimistic at this point. I was excited to see the COVID plays but now feel SRNE has flushed a bunch of cash down popper stealing money and time from them getting non-covid products across finish line since all we have are some cool TMs and zero products on market.
I want to see execution now as Ralph Macchio has requested.
Happy Friday 1776 and Others!
Busch Latte = an attempt by the drinkers of Busch Light beer to "church" it up! My wife and her many friends jab me all the time for drinking me cheap marco beers as they order up $6-7 pints pf Pixie Dust & Butterfly Farts IPAs and such vs. my $2.50-$3 BL.
So what did Bud / Inbev do? They've actually changed the name on their cases of Busch Light to "Busch Latte" to capitalize on this. Perhaps SRNE should go get some of Busch's marketing people!?
@@@@
I do recall you having the optimism something will hit today, 2/19.
I'd like to think SRNE is in deep talks with FDA / others to revamp what was not working in the field. I'd think it would be more astute to roll out version 2.0 PBR ASAP as it is still 98% effective while version 2.1 will be out 2-3 months later.
While I understand we have some revenue streams coming in from our alliances and a product we bought - but what about one of our own? Yes, patience in investing is key but we can't just keep hiring people, applying for Trademarks, looking for "manufacturing" space, signing contracts with colleges - without a product bringing in some revenue.
Have we missed the COVID run?
Here in WI - we are down to 6XX news cases per day out of 5.4mm people!? Our DumbARRSS .gov built a $15mm hospital at our State Fair grounds and a staff of 50 - opened Oct. 17 and as of 2/7/21 - it's had a total of 170 patients!!! We are on the decline side of the bell curve in our State - has SRNE missed the party is my new concern? Do we rush our resources back to oncology and pain meds? Tough call.
Tonite - it will be Miller Lite - I feel like taking it up a notch. My portfolio has been gutted this week!
Hello Mr. 1776,
Very valid points on both the institutional big guys being able to talk directly to BOD / Ji at SRNE and the "pieces" of the puzzle possibly fitting together.
I appreciate your optimism, continue research and well thought out response such as below. Both you and Chxal have very valid observations and points.
With so many unanswered questions-it leaves me wondering why nothing has crossed finish line. We were suppose to have an answer on the court settlement in Dec 2020. Nothing. Type in Brazil in our website search function and nothing. Is this the way our applications to various federal agencies are being handled? Sent in with pieces and parts missing and rejected?
So much potential and lots of trademarks and alignments. I just wonder when something will hit!? I'd think that squirrel would have gotten that nut by now.
Off to have a Busch Latte,
Andecker
Mr Chxal - I am in 110% agreement with your concerns and observations.
My biggest concern is these institutions will begin to worry about the opportunity cost of their money sitting in a company that does not communicate well. It certainly makes me nervous. I've been here since 2016 and zero has crossed the finish line! DOH!
HOWEVER...has there been an update I missed seeing on our pipeline page?!?
COVI-TRACK™ – Platinum (diagnostic) Next Generation Antibody Test: In final manufacturing and clinical testing
NOTE: It states "In Final Manufacturing". Am I that unobservant? When did this change?
https://sorrentotherapeutics.com/research/pipeline/
Regardless, I am still in agreement with you and fax these same questions to our Investor Relations person but to no avail. We need something to cross finish line but instead, no news on California, Brazil, our alignments with some big name colleges / Mayo, etc. The COVID picnic will be over and all our effort and resources will be out window after we were told we have the best mousetrap months ago!? Other kids are stealing our lunch money.
Ces't La Vie, Off to have a Keystone Light!
Mr. Nagra,
Thank you for your time taken to send info below. Very interesting.
I will research Fannie Mae. Are you saying this could be dead money until May 2021? What is your definition of "long term"?
Cheers and thanks again!
Andecker
Hello Mr. Nagra,
I'd be happy to ask you similar questions.
Background: If you recall a few years ago, WOW mentioned a couple of stocks which I researched and invested in. One has done very very well (VCEL) the other good (SRNE). I kept in touch with WOW as I appreciate / appreciated his opinion.
Recently - it was NIO in the $8 range which also has done very well the last 6 moths but in this timeframe, I still liked to get WOW's opinion on current holdings we share; VCEL, Syncora, SRNE -
So, Mr. Nagra - what 'ya got? I invest in stocks for not only for hopeful financial reward but also for entertainment.
Where would you put some funds right now, allowing me spending money for a case of Andecker?
Cheers!
Hi WOW,
Thx for response. The last time you mentioned NIO on this post, it was in $8 range - I set it aside thinking I'd have time to buy it and since fall of last year - all I can say is WOW. You were right. DOH on me for not reacting then but cash was low. : (
Question: Are you buying NIO AND VCEL at these price points?
RE: SRNE - When do you feel something / anything will be released to help s/p? I keep hearing "...this month..." Then "next month..." then 3 months go by. I've emailed and faxed company lists of questions such as; on our site there is no mention of Brazil or Darpa and for the pipeline chart, Covi-Track & StiX - neither has had anything updated in months - is this on purpose?
COVI-TRACE™ FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) Application Expected
COVI-STIX™ FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) Application Submitted
RE: SYCRF - Are you still buying in 30 cent range or standing put with you current holdings? Their last company synopsis was very cautious due to COVID - not sure if they were setting us up for some marginal results or just being cautious. Your thoughts?
LASTLY - Have you been following Luckin Coffee drama over last week? I bought up 5k shares at $2 hoping to sell at $18-20 but it announced
I ask since you are well tuned in NIO - I wonder if you were following Luchin in China market?
THX Wow! I appreciate your insight / input!
Signed, Andecker
HI WOW!
So, I owe you a thank you for VCEL!!
Bought in at same time I bought SRNE - loaded up SRNE as I felt their pipeline was more "full" than VCEL's so only 2.7k shares in $9 range. Wish it would have been the other way around!
RE: SRNE -
Wow, they have agreements with multiple entities, new trademarks, new product idea announcements, new drugs put in pipeline, alignments with Brazil, Drapa, Mayo, license with Columbia Univ, State of CA, etc. etc. BUT no EUA, no approvals! while lesser known companies are eating SRNE lunch AND punching them in face, taking our $!
Do you think anything will cross finish line? When do you feel this will happen or are we bag holders? The longer we have ZERO the more chance we will have nothing to help USA get back to normal and ZERO revenue.
Still hoping or have you moved on from SRNE?
Thanks, Andecker.
Good Morning Mr. Club,
Appears the holdup for getting kids back to school are big cities and their ilk. Would you not agree? Here in the Milwaukee area, our public schools remain closed as the teachers refuse to head back to work while MKE suburb kids have been for months. Lori Lightfoot in Chicago is inept against teachers unions who also refuse to return to work - didn't San Fran city council just sue the teachers union last week to get kids back to school?
Sadly, we need SRNE to have one of their COVID-(fill in the blank) to hit the market to at least offer a placebo affect. The longer we don't have anything cross the finish line, the less reward for it and the more possibility of someone eating our lunch.
I'd like to think the rest of this month will offer us something in terms of a COVID win...fingers crossed!
Never mind - I see this was from Sept. even though date showed 1/17/2021...
My error.
What is the timeline / deadline for Dr. Ji's stock incentive program? How does this factor in to your excellent assessment below? Do you feel he'll achieve that? Wasn't it $17/share for a set period of time?
Hey WOW,
I like your optimism on SYCRF.
I still have my shares - are you adding under $0.30?
RE: SRNE - when do you feel this price will begin to align with its pipeline?
When do you feel news will be begin to be released with positive results for its products, case studies and other? I can't find any news on Brazil. I can't believe the California news didn't move S/P? Do you feel SRNE will be a takeover candidate?
Don't forget about Brazil dia?
However -
Nothing on website - nothing if you web search....I did see article on another company entering their COVID market in the newspaper then lost the article - My bad. Either way - with no news, do you assume good news or bad news?
