Oh wow! Nice to see some money coming into this.
I am sure you know how refreshing, and rewarding, it is for a microcap to keep its promises. I LOVE the green arrows. I cannot wait until 2018. Once the New Year is over, people will be back in the office ready to start cranking. We will see the start of the infrastructure spending, the start of investment activity spurred by the tax bill
Man, I am getting my warm fuzzies
Well slap me silly. So they have a very vested interest in seeing the stock reach $1. I wonder if that is a factor driving today's frenzied buying?
Yup! That's exactly what I'm doing - riding the wave. I don't have an exit either, just seeing where we end up. Like I keep saying, I think 2018 will continue to provide tailwinds for us
I haven't either. I am certainly holding out for the long run. I think 2018 will provide many more tailwinds for us
I don't know about $10, but I think 2018 will be a great year. We will start to see investment spurred by the tax bill and 2018 is when we should start to see spending as a result of the of infrastructure bill. We should also see TVOG start to get its sea legs and can finally take off.
.04 Today! This is insane! The tax bill has really been a boon to this stock! I think we all knew this was coming, just can't believe it was this quick.
That is $1 for common, not for preferred correct?
Keep going! It looks like you have already locked in some very merry gains
That would be some good info to know. The company hasn't offered basic guidance?
You bought in early enough to realize some nice gains?
Yup! So glad to see this sector finally seeing some recovery. The blockchain and IoT are really going to revolutionize heavy industries. We have such an overhead heavy business model and variable revenue. We saw that during the last downturn in shipping - revenue decreased but expenses remained relatively stable. We still had debt service, office leases, payroll, etc. My hope is that by utilizing the blockchain and IoT we can make our industries more nimble.
But I think what is great, is that we have a chance to attract foreign investment, or at least to slow down or reduce capital flight from the US. With tax bill changes and infrastructure dollars being allocated, I would think that those would be two large incentives to not only keep domestic capital, but also to attract foreign investment.
I interpreted it pps would increase and the total dollar amount of dividend would stay the same, so the dividend yield would go down? Did I not interpret that correctly?
Target for the exit?
That is a very open ended question. I can point you to some calculations that others have done.
That's a nice bump! So it sounds like yield will be going down due to price increases?
I don't know if that will be the deciding factor, but it certainly won't hurt. It might affect whether investors decide to allocate their investment towards capital intensive industries as opposed to capital light industries.
Oh man, watch out. Blockchain announcement is going to be huge!
This really seems like the perfect storm stock
That's true. However, even if you don't hit the ideal entry point, you can still make some very decent coin.
I'm right there with you. I haven't sold a single share either. I am waiting until the stock reaches 10 cents before i even start to think of selling
The Internet of Things will have an essential role in the new highway system. With the development and rollout of self-driving cars, interconnected micro-sensors will provide connectivity between smart vehicles, creating a virtual highway on top of the physical highway. The development of this web of connection will be vital to navigation and safety of tomorrow’s self-driving fleet of cargo trucks and personal cars.
Additionally, the internet of transportation will provide a new opportunity to harness and distribute energy. Using piezoelectric crystals layered on the country’s new highways, energy could be generated from cars’ vibrations and with the addition of the expansive distribution of micro-sensors, energy can be connected to existing power grids, monitored, and secured, creating an entirely new source of power for U.S. cities.
Let's push TVOG to get involved with these as a way to differentiate ourselves from our competitors
I think it will be great. The new tax bill is very friendly to capital intensive industries
Sorry for the late response. I'm guessing you made boatloads of $ today?
I certainly think it will. It sounds like with everything going on, demand for shipping has been increasing. I am trying to think of a scenario where it doesn't increase revenue.
Yeah, it would be nice for some more input. I like DCIX, but it would be nice for some more input.
Oh I agree! I like industries where customers are price insensitive.
Ok, I can agree with that. What profit targets would you like to see in the short term?
Welcome. Glad you found it useful.
That will be a nice revenue boost. Good to see shippers finally taking delivery of these ships that they ordered. Helps to take capacity off of the market.
The Alaska Republican[Senator Lisa Murkowski], according to Platts, is trying to pitch the energy bill as a way to spark momentum in the oft-cited but vague $1 trillion infrastructure plan supported by President Trump. In fact, the White House just said that President Trump would unveil “detailed legislative principles” for the massive infrastructure proposal in January. That would likely “serve as the building block” for the GOP bill, according to The Hill.
Sounds like we will finally be getting some details on the infrastructure bill
It looks like the infrastructure bill might affect ANWAR.
I wonder if this will derail the infrastructure bill, or if it will have an effect on bitumen prices.
The GOP tax bill working its way through Congress contains provisions that have huge ramifications for the energy industry, but legislators in Washington may not be done yet.
A top Republican on energy issues, Senator Lisa Murkowski, is eyeing a sweeping piece of energy legislation for 2018. With her long-sought goal of opening up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) nearly a done deal, Murkowski has plans to tee up a bipartisan energy bill that could potentially break through the usual Washington logjam.
Ah ok. With OTC, risk management is paramount. I need to start looking at all angles.
Yeah, true, we only grow through pain. But, we are off to some great beginnings. I think any future failings will be quickly rectified. The management has shown that they can get stuff done.
Ah that's a good point. I didn't think that they might already have investors and are just waiting for a price
Always nice to see high commodity prices when it helps your wallet.
Jeez! 100k per ton! Wow! is all I can say. However, at those prices, would we see something similar to what happened with oil - unconventional resources coming online?
As entry points? It seems like anything below .02 is a good entry with all the good news?
Yup! Always like when we can take a nice profit when commodity prices come in below estimates
Looks like the closing process is moving forward, and we should see some movement
$TVOG “We are thrilled that the closing process has started and we can now move forward with building a globally integrated bitumen shipping company. With the current and impending demand for global infrastructure spending, spurred by global growth and the current US President’s $1 trillion infrastructure plan, we believe this is an ideal time for Turner to enter the bitumen sector,” stated Network 1 Securities investment banker, Adam Pashok.
Looks like TVOG is going to be at World of Asphalt? Anyone going?
