Perfecto...aggression diffusers and nad expressors. 3 legged race teams
have to be carefully selected. Bloodshed needs to be avoided. Question: games before the bar opens or after?
Lol...
The big challenge is to put together a rationale that is on a higher plane than economics and opportunity. Lincoln did that in 62' when the horrific carnage of Shiloh, Antietam etc made prosecuting the Civil War on the basis of bringing the South back to the Union wasn't enough for the populace. So Lincoln elevated the cause to freeing the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation. A very bold move, not by any means universally embraced by the Union populace or the Federal govt. But, it worked, a renewed vigor of higher purpose in tandem with Military success eventually won the day. GOP, the party of Lincoln.
He's obviously scheduling it for gf on the west coast. But he doesnt know she has a 1/2 day in by 800 pst. Mystery solved.
I take your point. I think... so, there is a potential solution in AXAL for an underserved population that cant afford to be treated. In theory, the right thing would be to have sponsorship of the effort to to see if AXAL is a solution. The onus can't be on ADXS however, so it falls to who? An out of the goodness in their heart gesture by BP? The WHO or an equivalent with the resource and reach to get it done? Apologies if I got your premise wrong, or left out an obvious solution. But I think K point was absent a scenario like above, it's not their ball to carry.
The bad news, gotta move up the schedule on the vigil. Need some divine intervention asap. Good news, any excuse for a party.
I agree removing the resource hog overhang of a trial like AIM is a plus. Likely many investors seeing that tech as the lynchpin of their original investment will bail. That said, with clarity as to the cost savings and/or a nod to resource reallocation to whatever it is, K could save some face. As to the probability of any of that happening, dont know, but it's as likely scenario as any other given the prior announcement of their intent to shelve. However, I still believe that given a choice they'd rather just let it wither. But the sp devastation has forced K to wave the flag, telling the street they know the barn is burning and they're taking steps to contain it.
OK, understand what you're saying about the 1st sentence. Heck, these guys put out a seriously wrong pr about AMGN,, or earnings, I forget now, whatever it was. So, anything is possible. My greater point was that its a template, with copy and paste for editing. If K didn't see it, the inclusion could be simply be, to the writer anyway, it looked good. Its a good first line emphasizing the fact. Thats the 3rd option.
Your view might be spot on. Bourbon delist theory might be right. All I know is plopping that phrase down as the lead looks like a tempest in a teapot to me. The deal lies in the call.
There's a 3rd option. K never saw the pr. Staff prepared it and unless notified otherwise by the boss himself or the lead on the project, the boilerplate remains. In other words he didn't care about the pr. Likely he's thinking, if he was thinking about it at all, that content was standard stuff. besides, its in their best interest to present for as long as possible, without being willfully fraudulent, as a late stage.
Congrats on the sp move and no timing issues. Not a bit of irony in that, eh!
God helps those who help themselves, or so I'm told. Nice move today with a few decent green volume candles.
Bullish news: Communicating the knowledge of and genuine concern for urgency of remedy, within the perameters of whats possible, with a few unambiguous statements of clarity would obviously help the cause. Beyond that, concrete upside news of deals is certainly possible. Maybe its time.
Bearish news: Given the amount of uncertainty in so many areas, hard to say what combination of negatives could be addressed. But, I see it as unlikely that definitively terrible news comes out of this however. I've said before I think they let AXAL fester until its done, whether in talks or not, then ignore it for as long as they can, unless a deal has been reached. As for the cash issues, I don't think this is the forum for that kind of news. In my view, that'll come out of left field a little further down the road.
Your analysis is plausible and well balanced. Clearly, you have a consistent rationale.
Key jobs filling up fast!
OK, you're in... as your schedule permits. Try the Sapporo, if you prefer another beer Bate said it BYOB.
Consequences have never stopped that poster from spouting best case outcomes as her lament from yesterday succinctly stated.
Timing`s everything in this world, and I`m so tired of being on the wrong side of all timing for Adxs.
Hov, you want to be the timekeeper at the Kumbaya event we're planning? While over qualified, but subject to the limitations of us all, you're a solid choice to stay on task.
Good call on the timekeeper, also like your Bourbon roles in addition to the breakfast buffet. Thinking about bourbon hollandaise sauce...on just about anything. Jambalaya and crawfish, oh yeah...
Lots of fun today. Long sh's got rewarded and for the most part the ranters were quiet. Sometimes you just gotta let it go. Thanks to all who made it so.
This is blue late today...
"Timing`s everything in this world, and I`m so tired of being on the wrong side of all timing for Adxs."
Does anyone find that ironic?
I knew I picked the right guy to review the vigil. You'll give it the proper solemnity it deserves. But, the boss has the final say.
That's party #2. This one is a prayer meeting for ADXS success and survivors. More like an Irish Wake. Can you build the tiki bar? You got the island vibe.
CEO: yeah, bad idea! Still...
Beard: Never once figured you for the bearded lady. Ever...
Nor as a grandmother, let alone a grandfather. Yet some of the most elegant women I know are grandmothers. Just saying.
Long tables: Maybe they already have some in the Manufacturing/lounge annex near the bleachers between the basketball court and the ping pong table.
Firm but fair decision, I nominate you for CEO, I can tell your critical thinking is beyond that of many others I can think of. Hey, whats that little thingy up by your name? On my screen it looks like Rip Van Winkle.
Well, the boss has the final say. But I like kids as I was once in that group. Still am, when I think about it... So, from the the Saloon Halls of the Black Hills to the shores of LaJolla, we fight for the kids right to belly up to the bar and toast the research so many have sacrificed for thus far.
Seriously, your comment in the moment was SO damn funny. Ofc, I'm a little skewed, thanks for sharing that. Btw, anybody not happy with their assignments take it up with gf. As COO-Treasurer I'm fairly certain there's flexibility. After all, its for the kids.
Of course, boss!
Btw, good day for long sh's here, so in the spirit of kumbuyah, Old Swill ok too. But check in with the boss, if there's any questions.
Fair enough, more than generous, a couple kegs great starter pack as it were. Had some Sapporo the other night at a local pan asian joint. Good beer.
Ub at the door an obvious choice, impersonators turned away with a smile , you on the fact checker... I'd add polaco as your asst when not doing emcee job. All reasons why you should be COO of the affair. I just want to drink on Bates dime. One last thing, literary license or illiteracy license, depending on ones perspective, should have made clear My Cousin Vinnie's nephew is the yute I was referring to.
You're the emcee. lol
Does this rebuttal of the catt premise mean the prayer vigil is off? Forgot to add that flammable clothing is discouraged, Bate is bartender, Bourbon in charge of the breakfast buffet and obi on the entry door verifying id's. Oh, valet optional run by my cousin Vinnie. As good a yute as any you'll find.
Never took you for the prayerful type. But I'm all for a kumbaya moment of solidarity with Catt leading the vigil. You can pass out the candles. GF handles the sh relief fund money. Tinfoil will give readings, Ub will make sure the attendance numbers are correct, raja will present his review of the whole thing in a presser afterwards, with Ig presiding over the memorial service for fallen investors. I of course will be at the tiki bar hoisting to the memory of the departed but not forgotten.
The pilot get distracted seeing gf in her convertible?
Yeah but the markets......they know more than any body.
True that. Always a pleasure...
I knew you knew stuff -:0
Its been said many time before. When you're on the right side of the bet, pure genius. When you're not, a dummy. Neither are necessarily true, but such is the nature of the casino.
Nice call. A pyhrric victory of sorts as it runs counter to yours and many others' best interests and clearly that is not a good thing. Meanwhile many folk are down big time where the losses are material and life changing. Those are the investors I feel for the most. Those with manageable losses, and by that I mean, they can keep going, not without a big hurt mind you, but in the whole scheme of things, the losses are absorbed and they move on, I have true empathy.
Iggy, if true, guess that could explain the "almost comical", your words not mine, methodical take down. Gee, maybe its about buyers and sellers after all.
I think my original back of napkin estimate was around 20 mil on the build. At that time I thought there was land cost and building the shell building, turned out its a leasehold improvement. Lol... So the estimate should have been 10-15 mill tops. Gantor was at 15 I think. 5 mill for the equipment could be right, but Ive never seen anything fetch 50% of original value, unless brand spanking new. Not enough margin left for resale by liquidators after dismantling, transportation, sorting, advertising, auction costs etc. I'd guess 30%-40% tops for the really nice gear, 20-25% for the production stuff.
Hear Hear... Clubhouse, baller court, ping pong, add a driving range to practice for the company golf tournamnet in Myrtle Beach and we have a very well rounded approach to work/life balance. Not as a good as gf's, but then again, she knows stuff.
The fact of the matter is, the only value it has is the hardware contained within the 4 leased walls. The process has value only to the operator for the specific output. FDA certification is an ongoing dynamic process that has no value beyond the time limits of recertification, which must be done by ANY operator who is producing product. Hard to value the Olympic ping pong venue attached to the flex suite, but I suspect it has an intangible value on the books along with the process to produce trial size vaccines.
I took the doc thing as the cue to protect my capital, there by hedging the downside by a factor 2x my original investment. It's about being right more than being wrong. Its played out nicely in that regard. That's the long and short of it. Good luck
